This RP is going through ongoing construction, what you read may or maynot be set in stone

The year is 2600. Humanity and others have come to know, and fear the force of The Dalh , in the last 300 years they have marched over the known galaxy and claimed all but a few planets as their own. in 2575 a group of planets banded together in order to halt the march of The Dalh We are in the midst of a massive war the likes of which hasn't been seen. Who you are and what you do may alter the course of this great war!
300 years of war has had it’s toll on those fighting it as well, don’t be fooled the citizens of The Dalh have grown as tired of this shit as anyone else. As such rebellions have been popping up. Ships going missing, planets declaring independence, and even talk of overthrowing the Dalh Empire!

RPing.

As Roleplayers you may sit anywhere your heart desires here. Be an errand boy, be a soldier, be good guys , be bad guys. The ‘main’ plot will be carried by the creators of this roleplay but might shift course depending on your own plot, and perspective. I welcome this as it makes for interesting rping. IF you have an idea for the plot or what have you (need a massive army, ect ect) just give me a shout and I will see what I can do.

Massive OOC information.
This RP will be built on an OOC database that is currently under construction. Most of what is 'In' the rp will be listed there. To get there simply click on the OOC tab listed by introduction and what not. If you have questions that are not answered there please feel free to PM or IM me.

A note about technology and some common things that are used in this universe.

The NET.
The net is the virtual world of which information can be sent remarkable quick.
the net was started back in 2300 and has “galatic” coverage by 2569. Anyone who is within
A Tower Mk4 Transmitter can access the net and communicate freely. By decree of Intergalactic law this communication can not be interrupted unless it is being used by military or paramilitary forces and is considered public.

The Cannon F.T.L Travel system.
This is the system which large scale interstellar comuteing is achieved.
Due to the nature of F.T.L travel there are two ways to do it. One, use a series of “canons” to accelerate you while you are in a enertia reduction field. This allows smaller , or personal ships to move long distances along set paths quickly.

OR you can use large carrier ships which have theses built in, typically speaking tho these ships can only ‘jump’ once and then lose most of their combat and defensive capabilities due to power consumption.

There are rumors that the Thein managed to figure out a way to piggyback off their old system allowing their 5th generation ships to jump without being in direct path of the Cannon system.

Standard intergalactic communications systems.
Theses are installed aboard all ships and compute languages on the fly near flawlessly.
This system is also portable and can be injected in the form of nano machines to allow communications. For races that use non verbal communications the nano machines broadcast an encrypted code to a voice module or directly to other nano machines

Posting order and confusion kills roleplays. most of us will just tag characters as is.
but in this RP please use tags to show the order in which you want people to reply in
this will help things work better and go smoother…

5: All rules are subject to change and any addition shall be made by myself or any other GM.

Intergalactic Laws.

These laws are to be honored by all beings of Sentient nature and shall not be infringed upon under threat of annihilation.

1 : Universal communication, all Sentient races must use the universal language translation program, The Net is also not to be tampered. It can be blocked by a race but one race may not block it for another.

2 :Time stream continuum must not be fucked with.

3: Anti matter weapons are prohibited from use in combat.

4: Inter-species judgement and law.

*All species are entitled to a fair and equal trail. Representative of a lottery species will be chosen to act as jury.

*If a being of another race is captured or is to be punished by another species laws the hierarchy of the captive species must be notified and an intergalactic trail must be held.

*The prisoner must be brought to an intergalactic hearing and charged before punishment can be delivered.
