Autumn is a quiet gentle soul. She doesn't like to cause too much of a stir, and generally keeps to herself. She can often be found sitting alone with a book in her hand reading, or drawing, or dancing, some place quiet.

With these abilities of hers, Autumn has become a deep thinker and has a great spirituality about her. She is not a material person but instead taps into the "energy" of those around her and the universe in general through her philosophy of elementalism. She can sense the world around her and though she often shuns humans and mutants alike, she takes great pleasure and solace in the nature world. Her Gifts has given her a deeper connection to the world around her and she has a tendency to sense things like danger before it comes.
Despite her calm nature, she does get angry, she hates when people make snap judgement about her because of what's she is and it gets her worked up. She tends to curse...alot when she's truly pissed off.

Unfortunately, she suffers from an anxiety disorder and is prone to violent panic attacks that can lead into violent seizures. There is only one person that can keep her calm during these attacks and she's been in love with him since the moment they met...

Autumn was born and raised in rural village in Wales. She was an only child, to a middle class family. Her family was rather uninteresting. Problem was. She was far from it.
Early on, her parents knew there was something different about their daughter. She was extra sensitive to falling. If she fell it would hurt, and she would scream bloody murder, she could hear conversations and 'activities' she shouldn't have, she could smell things that her parents couldn't, and food was always too spicy and she had to have the television or radio down so low it was next to impossible for her parents to watch a movie or listen to music with her in the room. They just thought she was particular so they didn't think much of it. As she got older, she found a love and appreciation for art and music. She would be found alone in her room, drawing and painting. This isolated her from the other children in her village. So her parents thought that they should put her in dance, classes. It was a horror movie from the start.
The music was always too loud and she would sit outside the room, just to stop it from assaulting her ears. Everyone just thought she was being dramatic. The girls would tease her, calling her fake, telling her that she was just scared of dancing because she was fat. She was a little thicker then most girls but that never bothered her., she just closed her ears and tried not the listen.
She wouldn't dance a single move in class but when she came home, she would practice in her room. She loved to dance, but being in class was too much.
Her parents made her go but she would often just sit outside the classroom. Her parents kept paying so the teacher just let her do whatever.

School was just as hard, too many kids, the first few times she went, her senses were assaulted, and she became overwhelmed to the point that she had a violent anxiety attack, people would rush over, only making it worse, and it sent her in to a violent seizure. after that, she always worked outside as prescribed by her doctor, he also said that she should wear noise cancelling headphones as well. Her teachers didn't like it but since she was making the best grades, they let it go. It was when she reached junior high school that things got really hard for her. She was becoming quite the little beauty, she preferred to be left alone which turned the girls off of her, and the guys on. It was one day that she was walking home from dance, and a group of upperclassmen, having too much at the local pub, followed her. She ignored them until one grabbed her , causing her to stumble and hit the ground. She started crying, her body extra sensitive to touch, the pain was almost unbearable, they thought it was funny, everyone knowing how sensitive she was. They tried to make her feel other things. As they came at her, she screamed, her voice shattering windows. The whole ordeal sent her into a fit and she was rendered unconscious.

When she woke up, she was in the hospital, her doctor, the police conversing at the foot of her bed. Autumn was covered in cuts and her whole body ached and she couldn't speak. She didn't know what happened so, after the police left, the doctor told her. CCTV caught everything. She was attacked by the boys, she screamed and her screams shattered the windows around her. The glass had fallen, and killed one of the boys was why the police were involved. What it didn't explain where her parents were.

Finally her voice returned, she asked where her parents where, the doctor told that people often get scared when they are faced with things they don't understand. Autumn was confused, what was that supposed to mean. It was then that a brick came crashing through the hospital window.
Noise from outside came flooding in, people were screaming, calling her a monster, that the 'Mutant' needed to be put down.

The doctor told her that she wasn't safe here and that she needed to run. He helped her out of the hospital and took her out to the city.
Where he left her with a bit of money for food and some of her clothes. He wished her luck before taking off.

Autumn was alone then, and after a while, she ran out of money and since she was only 13 at the time ,she couldn't get a job. So she was left to the streets. It wasn't long before when she felt something touch her mind. She didn't know what to make of it but she knew that whatever it was, was powerful.
A few days later, she was approached by a white haired woman and a feral looking man. They introduced themselves as X-men, and invited her to the school.
Autumn has never looked back since.

“Right. Let's do this.”

Tessa sighed as she turned around to see about twelve feet of roof ahead of her, her eyes narrowing. The blue and green orbs flashed as she grinned, her legs pumping as she ran. She could hear the screams of others as her body plummeted down towards the ground. Her eyes closed and soon... There was nothing but silence. She could feel the earth all around her body, the small creatures that lived below the surface going about their daily business. But she wasn't training for that. Instead, she tried to hear what was going on above. She sighed as she brought herself into a position of lying down, moving through the soil as easily as she moved through air, almost unaware of the pressure as the earth shifted out of her way and created space for her. She placed her palms flat upon the earth above her, coercing a small daisy to sprout above. Grasping onto its roots, she opened her eyes and simply stared into the darkness before giving a shout of victory. What's she doing down there? Is she dead? That was Professor Tec, right? She could hear the people talking above, though it was rather faint. She would have to work a bit harder to perfect this. Still, it was going much better than her attempts at exploring some other aspects of her power. Like turning into various elements. She had spent two weeks in the medical bay after trying to turn into a piece of metal and ended up being a copper bracelet for six hours. When she had returned to her normal form she was broken out in hives and had a green tint to her skin.

Not the best day of her life.

Satisfied with the training, she walked through the earth, surprising the students as she popped up. “And that is how you don't die when you leap from twenty feet up.” She gave a light smirk before canting her head to the side some. “Though, I wouldn't suggest that any of you try it just yet.” Beaming a smile, she skipped past them and headed indoors with a skip in her step. She waved to those that she passed by on her way to her room, throwing open her door and giving a light squeal. It was only her second year being employed by Xavier's Institute for Gifted Youngsters, only her second year of having one of the “upgraded” rooms, but she still loved it. She didn't mind when she had a room with Mia but she felt so official with her new room. That... She rarely slept in. But her furred companions loved the new space. She dropped to her knees to greet them as they ran up to her, laughing at the sight of Jade sitting on top of Bastille's head. “That's just... Oh, it's too cute!” She brushed her fingers through Bastille's fur before using her index finger to stroke Jade's small head. “I've got to go and get ready to train for a bit.” She stood up, turning her head as Talisman yipped softly, nudging his head against Tex's leg. “Haven's there... With Flynn. Fucking... Fantastic. Thanks for the update, lovey.” Her voice was dripping with sarcasm as she made her way to the shower, though she didn't direct it towards her stubby-legged friend.

She didn't spend long showering, just a few minutes to scrub away the dirt. She didn't mind some dirt on her nails or smudges on her face but she didn't like feeling funky. By the time she re-entered her room, her once chocolate waves were now curls of hot pink that dangled past her waist. They were pulled together by a thin vine, looping around to place her hair into a ponytail. She moved to the mirror, staring at her body. Scars were... They were everywhere. She sighed as she pulled out her makeup cream and began to apply it to her chest. It was always the first scar that she covered before following up and covering the ones on her legs, back, and arms that weren't already covered by her tattoos. Ah, her tats. She wouldn't trade them for anything in the world, spending quite some time staring at the newest one that took up her right side. That was a masterpiece and something she felt absolutely represented her to her core. She sighed happily, blue flowers blooming and intertwining with her locks. She happily slid into a workout outfit, whistling to herself while she finished it all off with her favorite headphones. Clicking her tongue and gesturing to herself in the mirror as though she were some sleazy construction worker, she chuckled and headed out for the Danger Room. She let her beasties out and locked the door behind them, smiling at the students who were enjoying their weekend. It was a great afternoon. She gave a final wave to them as she stepped into the elevator and headed down below.

Being accepted to train with the X-Men meant so much more to her than just being a teacher. Having her own room was great but being part of the X-Men, even just as a trainee, meant that she had access to their cool vehicles and all the super secret rooms below the ground floor. The Danger Room was by far her favorite room. She also had that really cool uniform, though she didn't need it. Logan and Ororo told her that it was to help her and the others withstand immense amounts of G-Force as well as to regulate their body temperature, neither of which she needed because her body adjusted on its own. Still, she was not one to pass up looking fine as hell. She certainly filled out her outfit well enough. But she wasn't wearing it today. She passed by the locker rooms and found that Haven seemed to have left, a grin playing on her lips. Good. The last thing they needed was yet another scrap between the two. Flynn was leaving as well and she passed both he and Anastasia, offering only the redhead a smile before continuing on. “Blindside.” She gave a courteous nod though she all but ignored the leader of the BAM team. She made her way to the observation room where she found Scott and Ororo, leaning into the side hug of her African mentor. “I see dipshit's had his ass handed to him again. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, doesn't it?” She gave a grin as Scott gave one of her curls a tug. “Don't be mean.” She gave a shrug before narrowing her eyes some. “I think I'll go ahead and give it a go with Logan when you're done with Austin... Give us something urban.”

She gave Ororo a pat on the back before waiting until her run was finished with Austin. She was soon heading back down and entering the Danger Room, locking the door behind her. Ororo and Austin had already left the room and Logan was back in, putting out a cigar. Wolverine didn't bother turning, already smelling the young woman that oozed the sweet scent of flowers wherever she went. “Well, if it isn't Daddy's Girl. You come to take on the champ, Princess?” He turned to face her with his trademark smirk, brown eyes scanning her while she too took on an intimidating stance. Or, at least she tried. She ended up just grinning and rolling her eyes. “Shut up and let's race.” As she spoke the room around them began to change at the behest of the mysterious entity, Danger. It began to resemble a rundown end of Harlem, the room darkening as night time was simulated. Before Tecmessa had the chance to make a break for the bell at the far side of the “city”, Wolverine took off. “Hey, you! Dick!” She yelled out at him before a vine emerged from her back and shot out at him. It wrapped around his legs and slammed him to the ground with extreme force. She had learned quite some time ago that one did not go easy on Logan. He was a big kid. She didn't bother with the theatrics of slamming him around because she knew he'd just recover within seconds.

Instead, she let the vine detach from her body and took off past him. Her eyes adjusted to the lack of proper lighting within minutes as she began to scale the walls of the buildings, leaping across rooftops with a number of arguably unnecessary flips. She thought she had lost Wolverine but she should have known better than to get too comfortable with his absence. He had hunted her down and she soon found them both tumbling down three stories. She landed on top of him as he turned to avoid crushing the much smaller being beneath him under the weight of his muscles and adamantium-infused skeleton. She gave a grunt but didn't hesitate to cock back her fist and punch him in the face. “Ahh! Fuck! Stupid asshole!” Wolverine pushed her off of him and stood over her with a smirk as she cradled her aching hand. The pain was fading fast but not fast enough. “All these years and you ain't learned yet?” He turned and left her to get up on her own, not concerned about her safety. She ran after him, slowly picking up speed but not enough. With a growl, she found herself seeing through black and white lenses. Wolverine looked back to see a sinewy and fluffy cream colored wolf damn near on his ass, howling out with exhilaration. He gave a grin and turned, readying for a fight.

The lupine form of Tecmessa launched itself from powerful legs, tackling Logan to the ground and going for his exposed arms. He kept his claws at bay and instead kept to simple punches; He didn't want to kill her. She tore him up pretty bad but he was able to handle her with relative ease. Her strength was increased in this form but it wasn't a match for him still. She let out a canine whine and whimper as he tossed her to the side and kept running. She grunted and rose up slowly, taking back on her usual form. She held a hand out and began to clench her fist slowly. The action itself didn't actually do anything but it was generally a common way for kinetics to get a sense of their power and manipulate their desired energy. For her, she felt the air around them, forcing it to gather while creating more. Wolverine yelled out as he was slammed into a nearby building, thrown through the wall as heavy winds picked him up and tossed him. Tecmessa gave a shout of almost victory and ran past him, using the air to push her up to the rooftops. “Next time, agápi̱ mou!” She yelled out to him in Greek as she caught hold of a fire escape ladder and began her ascent. Still, Logan didn't plan on losing. His claws came out as he burst through the rubble and was soon surpassing her. She climbed faster, before reaching out and grabbing his leg. “Don't be a bitch, Princess!”

She wasn't listening though. He raised his foot to kick her down or, at the very least, remove her hand from his leg. But he found himself unable to bring it down. She grinned up at him as she dug her nails into him a bit and further found herself tapping into the metal that coated his skeleton. Manipulating his adamantium wasn't as easy as manipulating other metals. She had to also fight against his muscle and will power combined and she had to actually be touching him to do it. Still, she made his claws retract, glaring in concentration as she watched his fingers slowly, one by one, begin to lift until he was falling. She released him and moved away, jumping through the window as he fell. She would not let him win. She was scrambling through the simulated apartment in the dark, trying to find an exit before Wolverine recovered. Knowing him, he had caught onto something before climbing back up. She kept her cool as she found the exit that lead into a dimly lit hallway. She slid as she bounded up three flights of stairs, forcing the door off of its hinges with a wave of her hand. She saw the bell and her face lit up like a child in a candy store. She began to run for it but didn't make it.

She gave out a yelp as Wolverine tackled her, taking her down from the side. Bastard! She thrashed out and let vines whip out and wrap around him but found herself unable to discern him from her in their struggle and they ended up awkwardly tangled together. Wolverine was much more careful than she was as he slashed through the vines on his end, leaving her wrapped in them. He ran for the bell and was able to ring it just before she lashed out and caught his leg with a vine, throwing him from the rooftop. The simulation soon faded and she was on the ground, retracting her vines back into her flesh with a whine. “I hate you.”

“You love me.”

“Fuck you.” The two bickered playfully as Wolverine helped her up. She gave the man a tight hug before limping her way out of the Danger Room. Wolverine remained, waiting for anyone else who wanted to take him on. “Hey, Princess! You got a match against that Russian boy tonight! Get some ice and walk that shit off!” Tec waved a hand nonchalantly as she ambled through the door and made her way back to the surface level and right back outside. She wandered around until she found the labyrinth on the west side, easily navigating herself to the center where a large oak tree waited for her. Groaning, she collapsed onto the ground and pulled her headphones over her ears, clicking the button on the wire to play the first song, Metallica's Battery. It was so fitting considering the battery she had just gotten. She sighed as her body began to sap the health from the tree. The leaves browned only a little – She wasn't dying or anything. She just had some bruises and cuts and aching bones. She didn't need too much energy from the tree. When she had finished she curled onto her side and closed her eyes, thinking about how she could improve her next run. She could beat Logan in an actual fight, given enough time. But she'd never beat him on a run. That was his arena. She gave a light sigh and curled her fingers around the blades of grass, encouraging it to grow taller around her. This was paradise.

Minus the memory of the ass whuppin'.

She pulled out her phone that was stashed between her boobs - because that was the safest place for everything - and scrolled through her contact list, wondering who she could harass for company. Most of her team members would probably be training today. Still, she decided she was going to harass everyone anyways. She arranged a group message with the text Boooreeed! Entertain at the lake in twenty or suffer! It was a bit theatrical, but that was totally her style. Pleased, she sent the text to Mia, Autumn, Alex, Tyler, and Austin. She realized that she had to actually dress for the lake first herself and found herself sinking into the ground. She walked casually through the earth back to the mansion, popping back up to surface level to find that Ororo must have migrated outside while she was battling with Logan; Her mentor would often step out when the two of them fought. She looked up to see her second-in-command on the roof and gave a light nod before heading indoors. She traveled to her room, quickly packing a bag and heading back out, pulling out her phone to switch songs. Not paying attention, she found that she had slammed into someone. Her headphones were knocked ajar, leaking out the tunes of Nine Inch Nails' Terrible Lie.

“Ouch! Ah! It's cool! I'm fine!” She overreacted a bit, smiling as she steadied herself and re-shouldered her backpack. “Oh! Hey, Ace! Saw you on the roof. More training?” It was a rhetorical question because the answer was completely obvious. Still, she gave a friendly air as more flowers bloomed in her hair with her improved mood. “Hey... Actually. Some of us were going to head out to the lake. Maybe you want to come? Actually, it might just be me. Nobody's texted back yet.” She gave a soft laugh and shrugged before looking down to see her two dogs join the party. Jade leaped from her perch atop Bastille's head and scrambled up to Tessa's head, peering through large black eyes at Azrael. “Don't be weird, Jade,” she chastised softly, though she kept eye contact with the boy in front of her. “So... I should get going. But... It'd be great. To see you at the lake. You should definitely come. I'd be terribly sad if you didn't.” She found herself at a loss for words and beginning to blush with embarrassment, rushing past her winged teammate and back outside.

The lake was only a mile walk down a path behind the mansion. Tessa strolled along with a whistle, readjusting her headphones with her phone in one hand while she waited for some sort of hopeful response.

The room was very bright when Tyler went to stand in front of the mirror. When his face looked back at him he seemed older, more mature and more serious. Unlike his normal outfit he was dressed in a suit and he was straightening a tie that was tied in a better knot than it ever had been before. He bent down and put on the shoes that were right in front of him, black and polished. He heard a knock on the door and he moved towards it. When his hand reached for the doorknob the scene shifted. All of a sudden it was stuffy and dark. On the roof above him he could hear drops fall. Looking around he saw he was in a car, a good one too. The windows were tinted, from the outside nobody would know who was in here. The car was long, behind the driver there were 3 rows of seats.

Around him there were more people in the car, some of them he knew, some of them he had never seen before. All of their faces looked sad and he noticed he himself had tears in his eyes. A feeling creeped in, he knew where he was and what he did there. As the car stopped Tyler opened the door and opened an umbrella. He held it over himself and the lady that came out after him. She put her arm on his and together they walked to the entrance of the cemetary. The other people that had been in the car before now walked behind them, he noticed that the lady next to him pinched his arm slightly. The entrance to the cemetary looked familiair, not from dreams, but from real life. They walked through it and continued up the hill. They arrived at a fresh grave and seats were on the side. Despite the rain the seats were dry, maybe someone had just done so. He sat down in the second row while there were still seats in the first. Did that mean he was not as close as he had thought? As the priest started talking Tyler noticed he couldn't understand what was being said. He didn't here prayers, he didn't hear the speeches and he didn't hear a name. As the coffin slowly went down, Tyler slowly woke up.

He stayed still in his bed for a moment soaking up the dream he just had. He did notice when it was a dream, even though his dreams were more like reality than any one elses. Eventually this would happen, or at least was very likely to happen. The future was never set in stone, Tyler didn't predict destiny, but more probability. On the one hand he was curious as to whose funeral it was, on the other he was glad he didn't know. It would freak him out, let alone the person it was about. Judging from his face in the dream it would be a few years before this would come to pass. Nothing to worry about now... He got up made his bed and went to the bathroom. As he was brushing his teeth he heard a future knock on his door. With his toothbrush still in his mouth he walked over to his door and opened it to see a smiling Autumn standing there. He greeted her in between the foam that still covered his mouth. "Woodworning!" She replied with a cheerful:Good Morning." He walked back to the bathroom and washed his face before he came back to the room.

"So..., what shall we do today? Can't I just train with you all day instead of my bruise session with Mia later today?" He walked over to the closet to take out a pair of jeans and a T-shirt and changed into them. "It's gonna be 15 minutes of dodging punches and then 30 minutes of getting the crap beat out of me." He turned to Autumn with a big smile on his face, "Can't you watch my training and take Mia's eyesight away every other two minutes or so? I'll make you pancakes if you do..." Tyler tilted his head to the right and looked at Autumn with big questioning eyes. Still smiling she replied:"As tempting as that is, You know I can’t do that, besides you’ll never learn, otherwise..." She patted his cheek and continued. "Come, let's get breakfast."

A little later they were on their way for some breakfast. Maybe not the promised pancakes, but he would still make her something. Plus he could use some tea and the way Autumn made it was just perfect. He opened the fridge to get the yoghurt and added the mueslie (with little pieces of chocolate of course) he just got from one of the cupboards. When he sat down on the counter and started eating he saw how Anastacia was only a minute behind them. Ana usually hyped from her own natural self, add a bit of sugar and Anazmanian Devil is born. Quickly Tyler dumped his bowl in the kitchen sink, he was mostly done in any case. He grabbed the last bag of sweets and opened it. He gave half of it to Autumn. "Quick, Ana is coming, let's stuff our faces and hide in the living room." He followed his own instruction and stuffed his face with the sweets. He walked into the living room jumped on the couch and tried his hardest not to make any sound.

Trying to hide behind the couch with his mouth full of sweets was quite doable. Not a sound came from him. In his mind he could here his phone go off. Luckily it gave him time to switch of his sound before the sound actually came. Autumns phone was not so lucky and the sound came like an earthquake. Apparently Ana did not stop by as nobody looked over the couch. With his mouth still full of sweets he attempted to speak. "Danwger awerted. By we way, iws Tewwa asking us to come fo we lake." He swallowed the last of the candy and had to admit that his jaw was hurting from all that candy. "I'm just gonna go change into my swimgear, meet you there?" He didn't take his questioning eyes of her until he was already out the door. He ran up the stairs and along the corridor carefully avoiding the people he would have bumped into if he hadn't had his gift

Quickly changing he ran back down the stairs. If he would keep running he would have been the first one at the lake, even before the person suggesting it, so instead he slowed his pace when he saw Ana and Austin. In his mind he already heard the conversation that would continue between the three of them, and somehow he thought he would be the cockblock conversationalist there and so decided to keep jogging on. He passed them with a quick "Morning" and continued until he saw Tessa and Alex in the distance. Now it would just be silly if he ran on, so he stopped. "Morning Tessa and Alex, thanks for the idea, it's perfect weather to go swimming. I just saw Ana and Austin a bit back, and I'm sure Autumn's on her way too."

“Ouch! Ah! It's cool! I'm fine!” She overreacted a bit, smiling as she steadied herself and re-shouldered her backpack. “Oh! Hey, Ace! Saw you on the roof. More training?”

"Yes, it was." He smiled at her. It was an awkward smile.

“Hey... Actually. Some of us were going to head out to the lake. Maybe you want to come? Actually, it might just be me. Nobody's texted back yet.”

" I think I would like that, thanks for asking." A small twitch running trough his wing, which was covered by his jacket. Just then, a pair of dogs walked up next to her and sat, a small squirrel-like creature hung on her head. It was cute. She whispered something to it, but he wasn't sure what.

“So... I should get going. But... It'd be great. To see you at the lake. You should definitely come. I'd be terribly sad if you didn't.” She then brushed past.

Azrael smiled nervously. He would have to go now, he didn't want to upset her. He wasn't really sure what swimming would be like, especially with wings. They were helpful most of the time, but, sometimes they were hard to deal with. It made sleeping quite difficult. He decided to head outside, take a cruise around, and look for the lake. It was a nice day to be flying. He slowly removed his jacket and shirt, expanded his wings, flapped a few times to stretch them, and took flight. He was about 50 feet above the roof when he found it. He flew over, hovered for a moment, and decided to settle into a tree. It was a nice view, a few birds fluttered just below him, chirping happily. He had got here rather quickly, and, to make sure he wasn't seen on the way, he had flown fairly high. He wondered what water would be like with his wings, he had a hunch that it wasn't going to be very good.

The others would probably be a little while. The moment that thought crossed his mind, he heard voices. Once they were done speaking, he made his way down, lading about ten steps away. His attempt at a silent landing backfired, a flap from his wings sending a thin layer of dust towards the group.

"Uhh, sorry. Hello everyone. How are things?" His wings twitched mildly as he tucked them behind his back. They still stuck out somewhat, which left him very prone to having them brush against people. He approached the circle, unsure of how or whether he was supposed to integrate himself within it or just stand in the back. he decided to go with the latter. He stopped a step away, waiting for someone else to speak.

Ana looked at the group of mutants she hadn't gotten /to/ familiar with. Of course she knew their names, and knew just a little bit about them all like powers, friends or enemies, just a little bit that would get her into a nice, calm, care free friend zone. Unless it came to Tyler of course, he never seemed to like her. Probably because of her past almost no one at the institution liked her. Although...she didn't get it. She had always tried to be friendly to everyone, she even gave Charles information about the Brotherhood from time to time but the people who started off not liking her, didn't like her period. There was no way on changing their minds and she hated it. But, she was thankful for the people who did like her, especially for the guys. To be honest, Ana only really had guy friends. The girls always judged her too quick so she stuck with them without thinking twice.
The small girl looked at them all before slipping her bag off her shoulder and crossing her arms over her chest, "Please tell me you /all/ know how to swim, and wont have any problems with a jet ski?" Ana smirked, she had a few tricks up her sleeve and kept a few things hidden around the institute, and under it too. The red head smiled at them all, even the dreaded 'Spoiler', her hazel eyes flickered a very light grey for a split second before going back to their normal hazel.

To be honest, Ana was terrified to go out onto the lake. Not only because she was around some people she didn't know, but because her scars would be extremely noticeable in a swimsuit. She had scars running and and down her legs, mainly on the back of her calf's for reasons. Not self inflicted of course, but for reasons that had to do with her childhood. Her smile faltered for a few seconds before going back to her usual faint smile.

ImageAutumn sat in her room, with a sketchbook in her lap, softly sketching as the morning broke. She was up early today, she didn’t know why. She sketched a small fairy, her wing iridescent and exalted as she danced over a water drop. As much as Autumn loved to paint there was something beautiful about pencil, in its varying shades of gray, it could mimic any texture, any color, without actually being there. She set her book down on the nightstand beside her bed and stood. She was in a room alone. Her powers made that a necessity, and while she was used to the solitude and wanted it at first, after living here, being accepted and making friends that would last a lifetime, she couldn’t help feel like maybe she’d wanted to be a little closer to her peers then that.
As the morning pressed on, Autumn dressed in her usual attire, a simple pink and white sundress Her hair was tied back, spiraling down to her shoulders, and decorated with a nice pink headband. She threw her sketchbook inside her bag, popped in her earplugs and made her way toward Tyler’s room.

The halls of Xaiver’s was almost always a buzz with activity, and at first, it was overwhelm, it still is. The earplugs help but it doesn’t nothing for her other senses, she could smell everyone, perfume, collage, soap, toothpaste. She could sense them all too, all the powers, ranging from weak to impressive. She’d been training and learning well, so she was able to slowly embrace all of it, take it all in and not let them rush in all at once. Tessa taught her that. Smiling at the thought, she was greeted sweetly as she passed by the other students. “Morning, Good Morning.” She would say sweetly in reply. She got to Tyler’s door and almost knocked, of course he opened it before she could. She was struck by the sight of him, he wasn’t particular buff or anything, actually compared to a lot of the men here, he was rather small but still, shirtless was shirtless. She smiled anyway, shaking her head some at the toothpaste and toothbrush still in his mouth. ”WoodWorning.” He greeted as he let her in. ”Good Morning.” She said back as he made his way back. She took a seat at the desk as he walked off into the bathroom to finish. Autumn took a breath, She was in love with Tyler, had been since the first time he helped her with her attack, the way he held her, cooed softly into her ear, how she was safe, and how everything would be alright, she believed every word of it, without any proof. He’s always helped her, always been there for her and she’d always be there for him, she recalled then once when his vision had overwhelmed him, she felt it, the immense physic power that woke her from her sleep, she remembered running to his room, opening in the door to find him there, clutching his head, his breathing labored. Almost in a similar way that she’d end up during an attack, though she clutched her chest. She remembered without thinking that she placed her hands on his and dulled his sense of touch, numbing his pain, but at the same time, increasing her touch, It was painful and her head swam but she held him there like that until the vision was over. They’ve been practically inseparable ever since.
"So..., what shall we do today? Can't I just train with you all day instead of my bruise session with Mia later today?" He asked after getting dressed. Autumn could only laugh behind her hand. It's gonna be 15 minutes of dodging punches and then 30 minutes of getting the crap beat out of me." He said looking at her "Can't you watch my training and take Mia's eyesight away every other two minutes or so? I'll make you pancakes if you do..." Titling his head in that way that was so unbelievably charming, it made her smile.”As tempting as that is, You know I can’t do that, besides you’ll never learn, otherwise...” She told him sweetly, her welsh accent heavy in her words. She pat his cheek. ”Come, Let’s get breakfast.”

Once in the kitchen, Autumn set to preparing tea for the two of them, as Tyler rummaged through the cupboards for something to eat. Tyler was an amazing cook, and for Autumn whose sense of taste was very particular that was saying quite a bit, The only one person besides herself to make her any food would be Tessa, who else besides Mother Nature would be a master in the kitchen. Autumn was a fair enough cook but she never bothered with making them anything, expect for Tea, She was Welsh after all. As she boiled the water, her bouncing best friend got the most wicked grin on his face and snatched up all the snacks. He shoved some in her hands as he turned to her "Quick, Ana is coming, let's stuff our faces and hide in the living room. he said and was off, leaving Autumn looking more then confused. ”Tyler?...Tyler?!” She huffed but his mischief rubbed off on her and she scurried out of the kitchen. ”Why I let you talk me into these things I will never know.” She said as she ducked on the couch with him. It was then his phone went off and shortly after as did hers. She usually had her phone on vibrate and that noise alone was enough to make her head spin but this time, she must have done something with the volume because it went off. Nice and Loud. She fumbled to turn it off and read the text. Tessa. At this, she smiled. Once she did, Tyler looked up and checked to make sure if it was safe. When it finally was he spoke again. "Danwger awerted. By we way, iws Tewwa asking us to come fo we lake."He swallowed stiffly. Autumn nodded. [b]”Yes, I got the same message” She said, knowing Tessa only texted him, for her sake. They tried to be civil around her but they weren’t all that close, they did share a love of cooking and her, so they had some things in common, though Tessa made it a point to make sure that he knew he was in immediate danger of castration should he make any move on her. Much to Autumn’s dismay, he was the only boy she wanted to. "I'm just gonna go change into my swimgear, meet you there?" He said and took off before dashing off before she could answer. She rolled her eyes, smiling, before climbing off the couch and placed the last of the snacks back into the cubboard. Sweets were not really her cup of tea. ”Oh! The tea!” She gasped and took the water off of the stove before it began to sing. If it had, God only knows what that would have done to her head.
Not that it mattered. A pulse came to her head, so harsh and violent that she dropped the kettle to the floor. She gasped out loud, sucking in deep breathes as she clutched her head with one hand and the counter with the other. ”Oh Haven... Please calm down...” The Nether was acting up again, and as usual Autumn could feel it. She could tell that this wasn’t it’s usual flux, Haven was angry, her powers going array. Autumn braced herself. She knew that the Beta team would be training this morning and Professor Monroe warned her but still, Autumn was never fully prepared. Taking slow deep breathes like Tessa taught her she managed to calm herself. Thankfully it wasn’t a panic attack. Just an overload of the extrasense. All Autumn’s senses were higher then normal, and by way of Mutant standards and while she couldn’t manipulate that sixth sense, she could always feel when others where using theirs. She breathed out and all was calm again. Haven was calm as well. She’d asked about her later.

Tessa did give them all twenty minutes and Autumn had enough headaches for one day. She quickly gathered the swimsuit she and Tessa picked out a few months back and hurried to meet the others.

She rounded the corner and saw the group, she smiled before approaching seeing Tessa and Tyler talking. She was glad for it, her smile faded though as Tessa threatened Tyler. Alright. So, you down for a party? No Beta honchos. Just the coolest of the cool cuttin' a rug and getting some macking done. Except you. You can't kiss anyone because it'll probably be Autumn and if I see you kiss her... I'll bury you.” Autumn groaned. “Tessa...Honestly” She whispered quietly before rushing up to greet them, taking her usual place beside Tyler as Tessa went off to Alex. Around the same time, Azrael arrived. ”Good Morning, All, How do you do?” She said, and felt a little foolish afterwards. Autumn was sometimes too formal with her friends, but old habits...as it were. Autumn yelped a bit, grabbing on to Tyler’s arm when a cheetah zoomed by and then shifted into the form of Austin. Autumn placed a hand on her chest a bit to calm her heart. ”Good Morning, Austin, You gave me quite the start there.” She said somewhat nervously. It was then that Ana appeared and Autumn smiled her as well. "Please tell me you /all/ know how to swim, and wont have any problems with a jet ski? She commented, searching, it seemed, for a response. Autumn knew why. Most people didn’t seem to trust her. Tyler really didn’t like her. She heard the rumors of her being with the Brotherhood but frankly she didn’t believe it. ”Good Morning, Ana, I know how to swim but I’ve never been on a jet ski, you’ll have to show me sometimes.” She said and smiled, genuinely.

"Of course I know how to swim" Austin replied to Ana. "But I've never had any experience with jet skis, gotta try that, Another thing that will probably make me fall on my arse" He went on walking over to the lake, "Hey Tessa! Where the heck's Marigold at? She's your best friend and yet she hasn't turned up yet" He yelled out to her as he kept on walking until he finally made it to the lake and took his shirt off and got in his board shorts. He decided to wait for the others, he sat at the edge of the lake and dipped his feet in and took out his phone and started mucking around with some of his apps as he waited for the others to get here. He started texting Hailee. Yo, It's Austin, I'm at the lake with Tessa, Alex, Tyler, Autumn, Ana and Azrael. Ya welcome to come, I don't mind If ya don't though, cya. He turned his phone off and started eating a packet of salt and vinegar chips. He moaned and said to himself, "Hurry up, already guys, I'm so boooooooored"

"Oh, what's up Azrael?" Austin spoke kindly. If Azrael hadn't known better, he would have answered literally, something along the lines of "The sky." However, he was previously made aware of the true meaning, albeit somewhat embarrassingly.

"Nothing much, Austin. What's up with you?" He smiled at Austin.

"Please tell me you /all/ know how to swim, and wont have any problems with a jet ski?"

"No, and no. I'm not really sure what a jet ski is. I am, however, curious as to what swimming will be like. I haven't been in a number of years." The last time Azrael was swimming, it was long before he had fully developed his wings. He would've been around 9, at a motel in the south side of Vegas, just off I-95. It was a memory Azrael was particularly fond of.

Ana made her way down to the water. "Come on, guys!"

Azrael expanded his wings, and took off his jeans, revealing a pair of gym shorts underneath. He waked down to the lake, and made his way in slowly. The water was cool, but it was refreshing. He made it up to his stomach, but further than that would've been dangerous, he thought. He began to stretch his wings, and then he made his way further in. It was incredibly difficult, nearly impossible to even walk. He attempted to tuck his wings, but that didn't improve anything. He would have to practice, and what better time than now.

He began by putting himself completely underwater, and expanding his wings. He flapped, and it sent him backwards quickly. Now, he would have to figure out a way to re-position his wings without launching himself forward. he tucked, and re-adjusted his angle, arcing them in towards his back, expanded, making sire they stayed angled properly, and flapped once more, with the same effect. He popped his head up from underwater, noticing he was a considerable distance from the group. He kept his head up, and made his way back to the group, using his wings to swim. This had taken a toll on his stamina, it was a very difficult task.

He stood for a moment, watching the others. The seemed to be having such a good time. He smiled, this was nice. This was what it was like, to be carefree for a few moments. Just then, he felt a splash on water on the side of his face, from an unknown party. He laughed, and, as out of tough as he usually was, he felt, happy

"I don't wanna talk about it Dreads." Flynn said in a pissed tone as he brushed past his number 2 on his way out of the danger room. He doesn't need to be reminded the score board. Flynn continued down the hall, growing more pissed off with each step he took. While he has come closer to beating Logan with each passing week, it's still a slow process. And Flynn can't stand slow. And the talking behind his back about his loses doesn't help any, not that any one other then the main team as beaten Logan in a training session.

Flynn started his way to the men's locker room to put away his uniform, even though he barely used it today. Along the way he was stopped by Ana. "I'd rather not talk about it Sunshine." He replied to her questioning how it went. "I'm heading to the locker room, I'll catch ya later." He said, and continued on down the hallway. When he got into the locker room he looked for his locker marked with 'Energizer'. He opened it up his locker, and grabbed the pair of jeans, and red flannel shirt inside. He tossed his uniform's top in, and got changed into his street clothes.

With his clothes on, he shut the locker door. He stood their for a minute, and stared at his codename. He then punched a huge dint into the metal locker's door. And with that bit of anger he left the locker room. He went to the kitchen to grab himself something quick to eat. He just grabbed himself a apple. He looked outside the window, and saw a group down by the lake. He looked closer, and he could see Ana's unmistakable red hair. 'What's she doing there with them?' He thought to himself.

While eating his apple, Flynn was interrupted by Wolverine. Great, just what his day needed. "Hey Ken Doll." Logan said as he opened up the refrigerator. "Blow it out your ass Wolvie." Flynn said through his bites of the apple. "You....um...did ok this morning. If it helps, Tecmessa didn't fair any better." Logan said somewhat hesitantly. He figured it'd be in the best interest of the team if they maintained some sort of civility towards each other. "Whatever." Flynn replied without looking at him. "I know that look kid." Logan said as he grabbed himself a root beer from frig. Unfortunately Professor X won't let him keep any of the real stuff.

"Oh? So Jedi Master Yoda-verine has some words of wisdom for me?" Flynn said in annoyance as he turned to face him. "I ain't your son, or prodigy. So don't try to treat me as such." Logan rolled his eyes. "It's just some friendly advice bub. Believe it or not I know how you feel. I know the doubt you feel in your place here. I've felt it, hell I still have it! But you got a responsibility to those kids out there. You owe it to them to try." Logan said as he sipped on his drink.

"Whatever. I don't need or want your advice old man." Flynn said as he brushed past him. "Just try to work with them, and not be such a dick." Flynn rolled his eyes and stopped at the doorway out of the kitchen. "Ain't that the hairy pot calling the devilishly handsome kettle black? You hypocrite, you're like the definition of loner." Flynn smirked. Logan let out a slight chuckle. "I guess I am. But I'm a lot more cuddly then I was back when I first joined. Just ask Cyclops. All I'm saying is that it ain't helping anyone if you're pissy all the time."

Flynn rolled his eyes, and started to exit the kitchen. He about ran into Cyclops on his way out. "Flynn. It's good I caught you. I need you to gather the teams up for a meeting in the War Room." Scott ordered with a nod. Flynn just rolled his eyes and went on his way. "Logan. The Professor wants to see us." Scott ordered. "What's Chuck want?" Logan replied as he finished his drink. "Don't know. He's called Ororo too." Scott said, and then motioned for him to follow him.

Flynn got out of the mansion, and let out a big yawn. He finished his apple, and just threw it aside on the ground. Flynn walked over towards where the others were. He stopped, and saw his mortal enemy, Tecmessa. "Great." He muttered to himself. He walked on over to them. "Hey Sunshine." Flynn directed to Anastasia with a warm smile. He then looked over at Tecmessa. "Slumming it with us Betas huh Flower Child?" Flynn smirked with a bit of annoyance.

"Old One Eye wants us for a meeting or some shit. So you know, maybe you guys should hold off the fun in sun for a little bit." Flynn smirked. "But feel free to keep the swim suits on. I'm not complaining." He said with a wink. "You guy's get to the War Room in ten." He ordered as he turned away from them and went on back to the mansion. He went back inside, and headed towards the War Room.

The War Room was located near the Danger Room, and was the heart of the X-Men operation. Only members of the senior team were allowed into the War Room, and the only members of the squads that have been in that room was the squad leaders. Even then that was only once, it was to tell them that they were to lead their own squads. Flynn took out his phone, and sent a mass text to anyone who wasn't down by the lake to get their asses down to the War Room.

Flynn was the first to enter the War Room. Professor X, Storm, Cyclops, and Wolverine were all waiting inside.

"Yeah yeah Ana, I'm coming, I was waiting for you guys" he took his feet out and took a few steps back, ran up and dived into the river and came up as a dolphin and did a backflip high in the air, he laughed happily and turned back into his normal state once he was back in the water. "That was so cool, wasn't it?" He was in hysterics, he's never tried that and succeeded before, he had a massive smile on his face the whole time. A few seconds later, an idea popped into his mind and he had a mischievous smirk on his face. But his plan was quickly shut down by Francis who had come down to bring a message from the others, he got out and took his stuff and walked over to the War room, and saw were Francis, Charles, Scott, Logan and Ororo were standing and walked over, "So what's the problem?" He sat back in a chair and rested his feet, crossed, on the table.

Tyler heard Tessa's comment coming, but somehow it still caught him off guard. As he felt the friendly punch on his shoulder she spoke more loudly than Tyler had hoped. "Alright. So, you down for a party? No Beta honchos. Just the coolest of the cool cuttin' a rug and getting some macking done. Except you. You can't kiss anyone because it'll probably be Autumn and if I see you kiss her... I'll bury you.” Tyler suddenly realized he had another mutation, how else did he turn bright, bright red right now. It was not the threat that bothered him, but the fact that he had feelings for Autumn and that Tessa knew about it. He was never quite sure himself if he liked Autumn in that way, although it was on his mind a lot. The thing he knew for sure was that he didn't know anyone else that he'd rather spend time with.

When he looked back he saw Autumn caught up with them. If possible his red face now turned purple as her super sensitive hearing must have picked up every word Tessa had just said. As Autumn came to stand next to him he smiled at her nervously. Luckily his nervousness melted away when Austin came by in cheetah form and Autumn grabbed his arm while yelping. Nice going Austin, these are exactly the things that could send Autumn in a panic attack... He decided not to utter his comment aloud as he didn't want to sound over-protective nor bring down the mood. Ana and Ace were in the water already and it seemed like Austin was about to jump in as well. Tyler took of his shoes and shirt and went to stand at the edge of the lake. With his most serious face he looked out over the people already in the water. "I'm sorry, but the future doesn't look to good for you." His serious face turned into a smirk as he jumped in and made sure the others would be wet from head to toe if they weren't already.

While underwater he realized Flynn was on the way to the lake with a message. Shit, just after I jumped in.. if only I had looked ahead a bit further... He climbed out just in time for Flynn to speak. "Old One Eye wants us for a meeting or some shit. So you know, maybe you guys should hold off the fun in sun for a little bit."
Tyler was quite excited by the news, he was curious to see what was going on. He grabbed his shoes and his shirt without putting them on. He saw the perfect opportunity to dry himself off a bit, and to get Autumn wet without even being in the water. He walked up to her and gave her a big hug which soaked her clothes. "Well maybe we can go swimming later," he said with a big smile on his face. Putting on his shirt and shoes he decided to go directly to the training room instead of changing first. Ten minutes didn't give them a lot of time in any case.

Walking back he walked just a bit behind Austin and he entered the war room just a few seconds after him. He felt like he meant nothing standing in the room with his mentors and of course the professor himself. "Good morning everyone." Seeing a limited number of seats he decided to leave them for the ladies and he stood against one of the walls with his arms crossed. He waited patiently for Autumn and the rest to come in.

Alex's first instinct was to pull away when Tessa linked her arm through his, but he didn't. He knew he was gaining more control over his mutation. Besides, it wasn't skin-to-skin contact, he should be fine."“Now, then. What are your thoughts on a party? X-Men style!” Alex listened as Tessa began planning the party, "“I was thinking that it'd be great to celebrate us - all of us - getting chosen for the new generation."

Alex nodded, "Sure, that sounds good. It'd be nice to kick back and have fun." Before Tessa could reply, Tyler turned up. Alex gave him an amicable nod by way of greeting. He had already learned to be extra cautious around Tyler. Tyler's mutation wasn't one of Alex's favourites, amplified or otherwise. After chiding Tyler, Tessa turned back to him, " I almost forgot," Tessa held her hand out, concentrating on her palm. A green apple appeared in her hand and she handed it to him, “You're welcome.”

Alex took the apple from her hand, "Thanks," he said, polishing the apple on his shirt. Had Tessa been anyone else, he would have taken this as some kind of token of affection, after all, how many people went out of their way to grow an apple for someone? But this was Tessa and she would give up the shirt on her back to help people, literally. Her daily kindness made it hard to figure out if Tessa was going out of her way to be nice to him or not. He wasn't really listening to the conversation going on around him until Anastasia piped up, "Please tell me you /all/ know how to swim, and wont have any problems with a jet ski?"

"I know how to swim, I just won't be. One, no costume, two, I have training soon and I don't wanna be turning up soaking wet," He explained, keeping half an eye on the ever growing group in case someone tried to throw him in, "I'll sit this one out."

Alex sat beneath the tree, eating the apple Tessa had given him, while a handful of the group dived in. Alex watched, somewhat amused, as Azrael made a much more cautious entry into the water, testing the water out with his wings. "Old One Eye wants us for a meeting or some shit. So you know, maybe you guys should hold off the fun in sun for a little bit..But feel free to keep the swim suits on. I'm not complaining. You guy's get to the War Room in ten."

Alex looked over his shoulder to see Flynn being his obnoxious self. There had to something decent about him, Alex told himself, somewhere really deep down, so far that only Professor X could see it. He wouldn't be a squad leader if he was a total douchebag. He wanted to point out that Scott actually had two eyes, but it seemed like a petty detail to argue over in the grander scheme of things. Alex kicked his shoes off, pulling his suit out of his bag. Shimmying round the tree so he wasn't actually getting changed in front of Tessa, Alex traded his civilian clothes for his uniform. As he had suspected, it was way too warm out for leather. Frowning, Alex pulled his sleeves out, slipping his t-shirt back on. It was an improvement on the temporary supernova he had just been exposed to, although he was still considerably warmer. He tied the sleeves of his uniform around his waist and grabbed his bag. Austin and Azrael had already started heading back. "I'll see you guys there."

Back at the academy building, Alex ditched his bag in his locker before heading to the War Room. He'd never actually been called to the War Room, which instantly had him on edge. The Danger Room, sure, but never the War Room. Reaching the room, Alex slid in, standing a little way away from the others, waiting for his squad to arrive. He looked to Scott, who looked as serious as ever, maybe more so. So that answered exactly none of the questions Alex had but just left him wondering what the hell was going on.

Ana rolled her eyes and stepped out of the water, grabbed her clothes, shoes, and towel. She wrapped the towel around her slender frame and walked over to Francis she punched his arm at his comment about keeping the bathing suits before continuing to walk towards the school. Black smoke bubbled out of the sides of her closed fists for reasons she didn't know. Ana un-clenched her hands and took in a deep breath making the smoke disappear.

Ana walked into the war room still holding the towel around herself. The girl made her way to a seat next to Francis but across from Austin and pulled on her shorts while she was seating down. After that she slipped on her crop top and began to slowly dry her blood red hair. "So, to what do I owe the pleasure, One eye?" she asked bringing her knees up to her chest. Her chin rested on her knees as she scanned the room trying to find him. When her eyes landed on him she gave a slight smile trying to keep herself from changing her position bu everyone knew she was going to change positions soon enough. Ana could never in the history of ever keep a position for more than five minutes...if she was lucky.

Autumn was just looking for a place to change into her swimsuit when Francis came by with a message from the Professors. Autumn sighed a little bit. She was actually rather looking forward to the swim. Oh Well. Tyler climbed out of the water and Autumn forced herself not to stare...which was a problem because she hadn’t seen what happened next coming. He engulfed in soggy embrace and Autumn groaned. ”Tyler, you git!” She exclaimed. ”Now I have to change!” She huffed, and all he did was smile. She had half a mind to shove him into the water. Well, maybe we can go swimming later.” he said and scurried off. She poked out her bottom lip. Her clothes weren’t too bad but she still needed to change. Thankfully they weren’t far from the girl’s dorms so she’d have enough time to at least grabbed her uniform. Trotting off to the dorms, she ran as quickly as she could, to hers, changed, taking her hair ribbon out and letting her wild mane fly free before making her way to the War Room, but not before stopping by Haven and Hallie’s room.
She knocked lightly, and was greeted by a maudlin Haven, her expression changed when she saw her. “We’re wanted in the War Room. Professor Xaiver called a meeting.” She said and Haven nodded.” ”Hallie, You’re in luck, Professor X wants us apparently.” She said and she turned back to Autumn. “ We’ll be down.” She said and closed the door. Autumn shrugged and made her way to the others. She took a place by her team leader as she entered the War Room. ”Good Morning, Professors.” She said with a smile and a polite nod of her head. She saw Tyler and wanted to swat him but she didn’t. She’d get him back later.

Haven watched as Hailee’s expression turned grim after looking at her phone. "Umm... Apparently we've been invited to a... gathering at the... lake." She said and Haven grew instantly defensive. The idiots, this girl was debilitatingly afraid of larger bodies of water and they invited her to a lake party. Fear struck her Twin, she felt it in the Nether and the Aether... Haven really wanted to hit something...someone, whose ever bright idea this was. “Assholes...” She spat, sitting up full now. What. The heck. Do we do?" She peeped and Haven’s brow creased. "I want to go, but then... I'll be near the water... What do you think? She asked her and Haven looked at her and frowned. She said she wanted to go, but she was terrified of the water. Haven knew she wasn’t about to get an invite, nobody really liked her much and she was fine with that. ”If you feel up to it Hae, then you should go, I’ll come with you, if you want...”
At that moment, there was a light knock at the door. Haven got to her feet, and was ready to deck whoever it was, probably one of the jack offs who invited Hailee to the lake. She opened the door and her head dropped to see the curly mane of Autumn, fully uniformed standing before her. ”We’re wanted in the War Room, Professor Xavier called a meeting.” Said the little Brit. Haven could have kissed the girl, for her timing. She turned to Hailee. Hailee, You’re in luck, Professor X wants us apparently.” and then turned back to Autumn. ”We’ll be down.” She told her and then closed the door behind her. ”Crisis averted, Get suited up.” She told her and all Haven did was grab her jacket, and didn’t bother with zipping it up either. ”Ready?”

With the last of the teams coming into the War Room, the meeting was about to commence. "Welcome all of you. I'm sure you're excited for your first time in the War Room." Charles greeted to his young charges. "Now let us get down to business." Before he could what the missions were, he was interrupted by the late arrival of Dr. Hank McCoy AKA Beast. "Sorry Charles, I had a experiment that I couldn't leave." Hank apologized, and then took his place next to Cyclops. "Damn, why wasn't I fashionably late?" Flynn muttered to himself. "It's ok Henry." Charles said with a reassuring smile. "Now then, on to the business at hand."

Charles rolled his mechanical wheelchair forward towards the round table at the center of the room. He pressed a button on the edge of the table to bring up a holographic display. The display of a bunch a formulas which looked like scribbles to someone with several advanced degrees in chemistry. "Dr. McCoy if you'd be so kind to explain this?" Charles said as he backed the wheelchair up. The blue furred Mutant stepped forward. "This my young friends is the X-Hormone Mutagen, or as it's more commonly known as the Mutant Growth Hormone, MGH for short. Something I'm sad to say I had a hand in creating." He said with obvious regret.

"I was on leave from the team at the time, and I was working for the Brand Corporation over on Long Island. I was trying to find a way to reverse what gives us powers. And what I found was the catalyst that activates the X-gene, that makes us Mutant. I whipped up a serum that I thought could reverse the mutation process." Hank was visibly uncomfortable talking about this. "I was so sure I had a cure. Sure enough to try it on myself. But I got what I deserved. The serum caused a secondary mutation to occur, turning me into the fuzzy beast you see before you."

"After my recovery, I found out my superiors were using my creation to actually give humans mutant powers. Obviously this posed a great danger. So I destroyed all my research, and everything having to do with it. After that I cut ties with the Corporation, and returned to the X-Men."
Hank then let out another sigh. "A few years later we found out it somehow got outside the company. It was being manufactured on the street, and sold like any other drug. I'm sure you can see the problem with anyone with the right money being able to buy superpowers."

"But the drug on the street was different. It only gave temporary powers, and it need DNA harvested from a Mutant, or a Mutate. And depending on the DNA, you'd get the originals powers. For example, if the DNA from our esteemed Mr. Summers here got into MGH, then the user would get his optic concessive blasts."
Hank explained. "We did everything we could to destroy the drug. And we did, or so we thought." Hank then pressed another button on the table which brought up a map of Brooklyn New York. "We've found evidence of the drug here in Brooklyn. Alphas, you have been tasked to find out whose brought this drug back to life."

Hank then stepped back, and Cyclops stepped forwards. "We'll be taking the X-Van. Now I'll be supervising, but the mission is up to you. I'm just to observe, and interfere if necessary. So will Wolverine, and Storm to their respected teams." As soon as Cyclops finished, Wolverine stepped forward. He brought up a hologram of some small town. "Alright rookies, this is Sanctuary Nevada. A safe haven for the less dangerous mutants. It's run by our old friend Forge. He's called us in for help. Some of his people's gone missing. So BAM...my god that's stupid name...we're going to be going down there to investigate."

Wolverine stepped back, and Storm was up next. She brought up a map of San Francisco. "We've had some minor Brotherhood activity here. Nothing too major, just a few sightings of some people wearing their colors, and some graffiti. Normally we wouldn't even bother investigating, but we've found some sightings of Toad." She then brought up a image of Toad. "This is Mortimer Toynbee AKA Toad. He's one of Magneto's first recruits. Despite his seniority, he's not that high up the food chain. His powers include superhuman leg strength, flexible bone structure, superhuman agility, superhuman reflexes, prehensile tongue, and acidic saliva. He might hold some useful information, so bring him in alive."

"We'll be taking the Blackbird along with BAM. After we drop them off in Nevada, we'll head on to San Francisco."
Storm then turned off the holographic generator, and gave the teams a nod. Charles then rolled forward. "If you have any questions ask your mentors. Now go get your uniforms on, and report to the hanger, and Alphas you go to the garage. Dismissed." He stated. And Flynn was the first to exit the room. "Bout time we see some action!" He smirked as he left the room. Although he'd be lying if he said he didn't wish it was his team that got the mission to capture a Brotherhood member. But still if it meant they'd get out of this place, then he'd didn't care what he had to do.

He went straight on to the men's locker room to change into his uniform. He quickly took off his clothes, and threw on his uniform. Once he was dressed, and everything in order he went on down to the hanger bay. He wasn't the first one there however, he was beat by Wolverine, and Storm who were prepping the Blackbird. Flynn went on inside the jet. "Alright, let's get this ball rolling!" Flynn said with a loud clap of his hands. "Gotta wait for your team dumbass." Logan replied. Storm gave him a slap to the back of the head, and a fierce look that you knew said 'be nice'.

He went over to Wolverine who was in the pilot seat. "Get up stinky. Let papa fly." Flynn smirked. "Heeeelllll no!" Logan growled. [color=#03FFF2]"Well, he is certified in all vehicle operations. And the Professor did say we're only to observe." Storm chimed in. Wolverine gave her a death stare in response. "Yeah! Get up hairball, I'm certified MOFO!" Flynn smirked. Wolverine sighed, and got out of the pilot's seat. Flynn slipped on in. "No hot-dogging!" Wolverine growled as he took the seat behind him. "I was only going to do a couple barrel rows, and fire off a few missiles. I'll make sure they blow up midair." Flynn smirked. "No!" Logan snarled. "Fine, no missiles. How about flares? Come on, it's for the kids. At least let me do a loop!" Flynn continued to smirk. "No tricks. Just get us there in one piece." Wolverine growled. "You're no fun."

Once Haven and Hailee arrived, She sat at the back, her arms folded across her chest as Dr. Hank Mcoy walked in. She hadn't seen him in a while. She arched an eyebrow at him as he spoke.

When he mentioned the X-gene she flinched. When Logan first brought her in, they weren't sure if she were a mutant at all. Dr. McCoy analyzed her DNA and found that she was indeed a mutant. She'd like to shove that ab report down Magnus' throat...She wasn't a demon, or some half baked scheme from the witches...she was a mutant..and they treated her like she was something else. She caught Autumn's gaze. The Nether was reacting to her anger and the Brit felt it. She shook it off.

Then finally Logan and Storm went on about there mission. It was so stupid that she wasn't on the same team as Hailee. Honestly. The Nether and Aether working together, Yin and Yang, They'd be in perfect balance.
That was fine though, she'd be able to let loose and should she freak out a bit, Hailee wouldn't have to feel it Stupider still, was that she wasn't the one the team that would be searching for Toad. She wanted to find that slimy little freakaziod and dissected his froggy ass. Guilt by association was good enough for her.
"Terrific...There's a mission involving the Brotherhood and I'm not on it...." She sneered. She turned to her twin."I get to find some missing Murlocks...isn't today my lucky day?" Before following her mention and her captain out the door and toward the Blackbird. She saw the two going back and forth about what not to do and Haven shook her head. "Do me a favor will ya,Cap and try not to kill us all, I don't wanna die on a plane, not how I saw my end." She said patted him on the shoulder before taking a seat and strapping herself down tight. She wasn't particularly afraid of heights but she wasn't overly fond of them either.

Autuamn took a breath after Haven calmed herself and listened to the good doctor speak. He was uncomfortable, it didn't take her powers to see that. She knew what it was like, they all did really, to feel like just wishing it would go away, that you could wake up in the morning and just be normal. Tessa and Professor Monroe would have her hide if they heard her say that but it was true. There were days that she just didn't want to hear everyone's conversations and late night...activities, she didn't want to smell when a boy wasn't too hygienic or when a girl was going through her cycle. It was more then she needed to know and sometime it was too much. She abandoned the thoughts and listened on.

Fear struck her then, as Professor Monroe went on about their mission. Toad wasn't going to come easily and she'd have to touch him. She knew she would, if she was going to be any use to the team, she'd have to sense him, sniff him out and try not to gag. She had a swallow a few times not to gag right now. She looked at her team Captain, nervousness and anxiety etched on her soft features. She tried to appear unafraid for her team but Tessa knew her well enough to know better then that. "Well, first mission...This is good. Right...A good thing." She said, though she smiled she looked absolutely horrified.

Austin looked happy when Hank McCoy came in, for he was pretty good allies and friends with the Doctor, he surprising listened through the whole mission briefing as soon as they were finished he walked out to the men's locker and put on his uniform, "First mission, taking down a Brotherhood grunt, this is gonna be sick! I dibs on co-pilot!" He ran to the hanger and sat in the co-pilot's seat next to Flynn and strapped himself in. "This is gonna be sweet!" He had a massive smile on his face. "This thing's got some sick gear!" He admired everything about the Blackbird, "Heavy duty weapons, advanced maneuverability, turbo thrusters, the whole package!" Austin just kept babbling on about the ship, not many were actually listening. Sometimes you couldn't even understand what he was talking about at all, some people found it a nuisance and kinda irritating. Cmon hurry up people, he got a job to do, he thought, he didn't bother saying it aloud because It was quite obvious he was growing a little impatient but he was actually early, so he tried to wait as patiently as he could.

Ana's took in a sharp breath as he mentioned 'The Brotherhood'. Quickly she left the war room and went to her bedroom, she changed into her uniform and then walked to the plane. Without saying a word Ana stepped onto the plane and walked to the cockpit where she typed in a few coordinates into the control panel and sat down on the floor in between the pilot and co-pilot seats. "Knowing Toad, he should be somewhere around there. Also knowing him he's gonna try to throw you off balance, so watch all sides." Ana then stayed quiet for a small time before speaking up again, "Oh. Also, if you want to draw him out. Your best bet would to let me go first..." after saying that she stayed quiet and didn't say another word. Carefully she would envelop herself in a harmless cloud of black smoke, and occasionally she would curse under her breath when the cloud was around her.

It's not that she was doing anything bad, she was just trying to solidify shadows, and more than one time they were weapons. And more than once she would end up hurting herself with them. Anastasia didn't have time to normally practice since Logan mainly focused her on using her teleportation, and how to contain her darkness. The small red head sighed and left the cloud around her dissapear. "No use," she mumbled to herself quietly.

The young woman listened carefully as Hank spoke, debriefing them on their mission. She cursed herself inwardly for not knowing this already for all the time she spent in the slums for fights. Then again, Logan generally tried to make sure that she didn't stay any longer than she needed to once a fight was done. She could definitely see how this drug was a bad thing and it made her sick. How dare they try to tamper with nature! She couldn't help but to be angry at Hank as well. Her mood darkened while the teams were being assigned, angrily shoving her iPad into her backpack. Hank noticed the change in her and reached out but she immediately jerked away from his touch with a scoff. Charles didn't even bother trying to say anything, knowing that it'd be futile. She'd talk about it when she was ready. She headed into the jet, not even bothering to complain about Francis flying the Bird. It was then that Ana spoke up. "Knowing Toad, he should be somewhere around there. Also knowing him he's gonna try to throw you off balance, so watch all sides. Oh. Also, if you want to draw him out. Your best bet would to let me go first..."

“You're going to Nevada. With your team. I'm taking my team to California. I appreciate the information but my team's got this. We'll let you know how it goes when we pick you guys back up.” She gave a sigh and shook her head as she explained to Ana the circumstances. “Pay attention at the meetings. Knowing this stuff is important.” She moved to sit next to Ororo who put a hand on her leg. “What the hell's wrong with them?” Ororo gave a soft smile before giving her leg a soft squeeze. “Relax; She's still a rookie, remember? And she was just trying to help.” Gaea gave a shake of her head, causing her ebony curls to bounce. “Not her. Though she could stand to pay more attention to debriefs. I mean them. Humans. And Hank. What the fuck was he thinking?! What is there to cure? We're not... Diseased!” She felt insulted and betrayed as her voice rose into a yell, bringing a surge of heat that emanated from her body that made the flowers in her hair wilt. “Hank's supposed to be on our side. Not theirs.” Her hands curled into fists and her nostrils flared as she wondered about the mutants that they experimented on, wondering how many of them died... How many weren't willing.

She leaned her head back before getting back up and moving towards one of the panels, pulling open a drawer. She grabbed one of the communication devices, tilting her head and placing it into her ear. She grabbed a few more and placed them into her teammates' ears before heading out of the jet. “I'll be outside.” She made sure that her commlink was working before exiting the hangar. A blast of air under her feet lifted her up to the top of the jet. Placing her hands above her, she parted the metal and concrete with relative ease before shooting up to the basketball court. She had made sure to open the hangar overhead slowly, giving any kids above a chance to exit. She moved over to the fence where she crouched down with a light sigh and pulled her hat off to pull her headphones over her ears. Placing the hat back on, she shifted on her music before pulling out a joint. She was pissed. She used the tip of her finger to light it, inhaling the thick smoke with closed eyes as she felt a familiar, yet foreign, anger well up inside of her, making her skin crawl. “Ace, you be my eyes in the sky when we get to Cali. Reform, you fly with him. Toad runs, you hit the ground and keep him away from general population. Stimuli, you're with me. Steer clear of his tongue and that spit.” She spoke over the commlink to her teammates before turning her music up a bit louder.

"Haven, uhhh, hello. Can you uhh, help me with this thing."
Haven arched an eyebrow over at Azrael as he spoke to her, ripping her mind from what Dr. McCoy had said. For once in her life, she actually agreed with Tecmessa, not that she'd ever let her know that...There not cure for what they were...Cures are for diseases, mutants weren't diseased...They were evolution.
Haven blinked. She sounded like one of the Brotherhood dicks...she rolled her eyes and looked at Azrael. "It's a com unit, just talk, your team will hear you." She told him, only half paying attention as Ana took a seat in the middle of the damn floor. Going on about the Brotherhood, talking about letting her go first. Haven wanted to grab her by the hair and snap her fucking neck. One, she wasn't listening, and two, she thought it would be a good idea to her take the lead, since she knew the son of a bitch. It took all she had not to say anything, as her marks began to glow.
"Haven?" Autumn peeped, looking at her from across the seat where she was strapped in. "What?""You're glowing, Lass...the Nether is's fluxing a great deal." She told her and Haven huffed. "We'll live, I just hope to whatever God that's listening that we have someone to fight..." She said, watching as the ginger on the floor, tried to make a shadow construct. Haven shook her head. She wanted to laugh at her and a couple of years ago, she would have but she was co-captain, she had to be mature and had to make sure her team was successful, Ana was on her team whether she liked it or not.
"Blindside, you need balance, first before you can call your shadows, get in your seat and strap yourself in, then call them, you're trying to do too much at once, steadying yourself, calling them and manipulating them all at the same time, it's too much and you're only partially focused on each task, instead, devote all of your attention on one task, take it one at a time." She said having distracted herself from her anger and annoyance. She was co-captain for a reason, she could be mature and responsible when she wanted to be and when she wasn't a rage monster. If she had more control of her Nether Embodiment, she probably would be leading her own team by now. She caught Logan's eye. She rolled hers and continued her instructions. Get your balance first, then clear your mind, focus on calling them, and once they are there, then you tell them what you want them to do, and have a clear idea of what you want to construct, and let them do the rest."

Tyler waited patiently for the rest f the teams to come in. Autumn was one of the last to arrive, changed and with a hint of revenge on her face. She sat down next to Tessa and turned her back to Tyler for the briefing. When the Professor started talking Tyler had to disagree with his comment about the War Room. Tyler personally wasn't as much excited as he was filled with doubt. It was obvious to him that he was one of the weak points in any of the teams. He wondered if he had enough training with Cyclops to go on mission and be part of the Alphas.

Only a few seconds after starting Beast entered the room. Tyler really liked him, he was smart and one of the most kind-hearted people Tyler had ever met. It had been a bit strange at first to sit on the couch next to what could best be described as a blue gorilla, but he had gotten used to it. The holographic display showed a bunch of Chinese signs as far as Tyler was concerned. When Beast stepped forward Tyler recognized he was not very happy about the things he would tell them. No genius intellect was needed to see it was going to be personal for him. Hearing about the Brand Corporation Tyler stiffened up a bit. The company was well known to him, or more specifically his father. His father used to be on of the major shareholders of the Roxxon Energy Corporation, the mother company of Brand. When it came out that Brand wanted to create mutants for profit his father had backed out. He was fiercely against anything mutant, and creating more was not really on his to-do list. Tyler living on the street after being disowned by his father kind of had the same origins, were it not his father actually wanted him dead.

From body language Tyler noticed some people snorting at the term 'cure'. He knew the general idea in this place was that there was no cure for their mutation as it was not a disease. Although Tyler agreed with this mostly, he could see some mutants not wanting to be mutants. Beast had no possibility to go up in a crowd, always standing out and always having people judge you must be difficult. For himself, walking around with a constant headache doesn't really spell out the next part of evolution to him, and what of Autumn's panic attacks. Whatever the reason was for mutants to exist, Tyler was pretty sure evolution had nothing to with it. Evolution grows out of necessity, monkeys needed to evolve to walk on two legs, to grow, to survive. Shooting a laser beam out of your eyes is not one of those necessities, neither is controlling the weather, metal or earth itself.

After the briefing Tyler went for the exit of the War Room. Passing Autumn he put her hand on her shoulder and whispered in her ear. "Get home safe." Afterwards he went to his locker in order to put on his uniform. Seeing as they might not want to stand out too much on this mission he threw his street wear in a backpack and took it with him to the garage. Guess flying the Blackbird will be for another time... He had been asking Scott to give him lessons, as he was usually good with any kind of vehicle. It helps of course if your reaction speed is way above a normal person. Seeing the future has its perks. So far Scott had denied him every single time, saying he could only get lessons if his other skills in the field were at a better level.

When walking up to the X-van he saw Cyclops already standing there. Tyler brought up his hand to his forehead. "Spoiler reporting for duty, sir!" He could not suppress a slight smile, although strict, military was not Cyclops style. He threw his backpack in the trunk and walked up to the driver's seat. "Any chance I'm getting the keys today?"Cyclops shrugged his shoulders. "That is a question for your field leader, I'm driving back seat." As she was not there yet Tyler stood next to Cyclops waiting for the rest. He wondered if they would pose as possible buyers, or if he would get in contact with some of his past friends. After all, I've lived on the streets of Brooklyn for about a year.
