GM POST

SCIENCE CITY

The cities are as crowded as ever. Billions of floating cars roamed the skies and the ground was filled with walking citizens. The ever so busy streets was filled with steps of the people, busy business men talking on their phone, the screaming sounds of little children excited for they shall visit next; the famous Toyz4Kidz store where they sell hundreds of toys for children. The stores and restaurants was filled by a flood of humans, and the yelling of orders echoed throughout the store. The giant bustling towns of advanced machinery eased the lives of billions of people whose work has a lot of stress placed upon them.

RELIGIOUS CITY

In this fine morning, birds chirped in the blue skies as the greetings of the workers sounded in the air. "Good morning!", "Hello.", "Nice to see you.". All the greetings followed by replies and then topics of discussions came. The children that ran around the fields, wearing a smile so rare from the past. The cows in the distant field mooed, as the farmer started gathering it's milk. In the biggest building in the middle, lies the city town hall, where soldiers with swords and spears, armors and cloths stood to guard the place. Inside the building, was a big meeting of the leaders of each city, including the ones on the two most powerful guild in their side, Lendon Alstair of Wings of Vengeance and Fiona Lenon of Dark Radiance.

"So how do we go about finding the leaders of the other side?" A question raised by one of the member in the room.
"Easy! We'll just destroy the whole damn city with him in it!" Lendon yelled out as he punched him fist into his palm.
"No. We should plan this whole thing out. We CANNOT let this fail." Fiona, raising her voice yet keeping her calm tone.
"But that'll just give them more time to destroy us! We can't let them take over us! We need to keep pushing them so they can't retaliate!" Lendon objected loudly, the scream echoed throughout the room. The other members was deep in thought, when Fiona stood up. "My guild members can take care of that. Very much will you trust them, Lendon?" Fiona asked, with a sarcastic tone. Lendon stood back. Her guild members are the one that is filled with powerful mages. Especially the Black Swordsman, Takuya. His name was known throughout the city sides as he and a few others were the only survivor of the Beta Onslaught. He quickly left the room, slamming the door hardly, as Fiona sat down with all the stares of the room locked onto her.

Takuya Kagamine

In that fresh morning of the day, the school bells rung. Takuya turned and look to find his friend, Cason, waiting for him in front of his desk. His smile wore on his face enlightened a little of his mood. Together in the school corridor they walked as the a sound beeped from his Nerve Visor. He activated it with a command of 'Open mail', and instantly, a blue visor covered his eyes and a white tab, title being Messages popped up. He inspected it. It was from Fiona, his guild leader. She asked him to go Caseus, the name of the city where the guild's main Headquarters is. He quickly closed it and waved good bye to his friend, as they separated ways. He opened up the message again, and replied using the virtual keyboard appeared that can only be seen by only him. He told her that he will be there in an hour and sent it.

As he reached home, he put in the password of his room's network, and the door unlocked with a click. He pushed the door opened and it closed by itself. He took of his shoes and walked inside the spacious room, and took a quick shower, followed by a meal prepared sooner later. He took the meal, specifically a cup noodles, and brought it to his living room and switched on the TV. Minutes later, with a quick slurp of his noodle, he drank all the remaining soup. He brought it to the kitchen and washed it, throwing it into the dustbin beside. He closed the lights and the TV, but left the fan on, as he then proceeded and slept on the couch, switching on the game with a quick command of 'Game commence'.

He dived into the virtual world, and streamed through the various amount of codes at his side. Upon passing a thin wall of codes, his avatar was switched, but the only differences was his black coat and his black blade at his back. He landed upon the wide green fields of a wide and big town and as he turned, a familiar sight came into view. The city guild walls surround the city, and the entrance was protected by the powerful magics of his guild master, Fiona's light magic barrier. He stepped inside, as if the obstacle did not happened, and made his way into the biggest building in the center. The rows of houses was familiar, but it was still a surprise to him every time he logs in the game. The past history houses looked like these, but the time he lived in, the houses were all so every different than this one.

Yui Akiyama

With a greeting by the big rising sun, she wakes up from her sleep. She was absent from class today because she was hit with a flu. She waked to her kitchen with he blanket on, and staggered along the way. She prepared porridge before hand, and now she just had to pour it into a small bowl for herself. She flicked on the light switch, and the fluorescent bulb came into life. She clicked on the TV and started drinking her porridge.

Slowly she was getting better, and so she opened the windows, with a great view of the city from above. She stretched herself and inhaled. With the let out of her breath, she went on and took a book she was currently reading and opened the page with her bookmark. Her reading speed was so fast, that she practically read a page a minute. But stopped suddenly, and placed the bookmark where she stopped reading, and placed it back into her bookshelf.

She laid on her bed, after closing the curtains and closing everything; lights, TV, stoves. She activated her password protection network, and then an alarm to warn her not to go too far with playing the game. Finally, with confirmations of everything, she commenced the launching of the game, Yggdrasil Online, with 'Game commence', and instantaneously she dived into the virtual world. She passed by the thin wall of codes, and her normal clothing of the black t-shirt and skirt was changed into a black and orange armor along with a sniper rifle behind her back, a pistol at the left waist and a blade-less handle with a glowing green circle appeared.

She landed inside the city of Gansux, the machinery town of one of the leading guild in the Scientific side, Helios Infinitum. She quickly rushed towards the entrance, where a giant door with gears visible on the door, and after a touch on the door, steams came out. Gears rolled as the door slowly opened. She stepped inside, a corridor leading towards a big spacious room can be seen. Talking and cheering can be heard from the inside, as when Yui walked a few steps after entering, the doors closed shut. Once she walked ahead into the red carpeted room, a big hall with tables and chairs, all occupied by the guild members can be seen. She quickly occupies one of the empty seats and took out her book and started reading on it.

“What if y-”

“No!”

“But you ju-”

“Can it!”

“C'mon, if you just let me-”

“I said no!”

Once again, some in-game bozo thought to be the wisest among men and decided that, because Piper seemed so trouble, that he'd be the one to help the poor little girl. Well, not happening!

The girl sat with her legs crossed, her right arm leaning on her upper leg to give support to the head that was resting on a clenched fist. Her eyes peered through orange-tinted glass from the pair of goggles. Uninterested, and so not in the mood for pointless advice, the girl released an agitated sigh from her salmon lips, waiting for this 'guy' to leave, but he didn't. Instead, he made the same mistake twice, trying in vain to get his point across that, whatever Piper was planning on doing, wasn't going to work.

“Here, if yo-”

“Shut it, Aleck. My work, my inventions.” It was clear that Piper wouldn't have any of it, and the message finally reached the necessary braincells for the boy to realise. With that, he left without a fuss. His departure acknowledged with an over-the-top eye-roll from Piper, followed by a deep and annoyed sigh.

After the boy left, the girl took a sip form her cup of coffee, gently running her free hand through her ginger hair in a ruffling manner. Honestly! Now she didn't know where she left off, thanks for the distraction, buddy!

“Racky, where did we-” The girl stopped mid-sentence, turning around to find that her partner was nowhere to be seen. “Rack? Oh if I- Where is that rusty blob of metal?!” Things weren't flying off so well, were they? Piper tossed a dusty blanket over her work-in-progress device, rising from her now not-so-relaxed position, and searching every nook and cranny for her dear robot assistant.

Ruka Kaname

Ruka's phone began to buzz, but paying no attention to it, she left it alone. Sitting at her desk bored out of her mind and wishing to be entertained. A boy with brown eyes and brown hair came up to her, he looked down a Ruka,"Hey, Ruka". Ruka slowly glanced up at him."Ruka where have you been we needed you in the game last night". The bell sounded and it was time for class, the boy stood there for a few more seconds waiting for Ruka to answer him,but knowing she wouldn't, he left for his seat. The day was long for Ruka, as the bell rang she let out a sigh. She got up and quickly walked out of the school. Minutes away from the school, Ruka heard a voice calling out to her."Hey Ruka why haven't you been online lately!", you could see the color red spread through the boy's face, as he ran after Ruka. She froze ten feet away from him,so he could catch up. By the time he caught up to her, he was completely out of breath and had to stand there for a minute just to breath in some air. Ruka was becoming irate and turned to him,"What is it"? The boy jumped at the sudden command of her voice,"It's just that everyone's been worried, because you haven't been online recently. I tried to tell you this at school, but you wouldn't listen to me". Ruka stood there and tried to search her memory of such an event. "Oh, I remember know... Is that all you have to say to me"? The boy looked at her in shock," What is wrong with you can't you be a little more grateful at least for the people who were worried about you". Ruka smiled brightly,"I don't need nor do I want their worry. I simply don't care for others, and if I sound rude or disrespectful...to bad". Ruka turned away from the boy and continued to walk ahead, leaving the boy behind, with glaring eyes,"Ruka"!

Ruka entered into her home,"I'm back",she said to the empty space. She knew no one was there, and if they were they would never answer her. She threw down her bag, not caring where it landed, and walked to her room. On the way she saw her mother quietly sobbing on her little brother's bed. Ruka smiled bitter-sweetly at this scene and continued on to her room. She entered her password, which caused the door to slide open. She was about to walk in, when her phone started to buzz. She looked at the direction of her mother, who had not even moved at the sudden noise and sighed. She took the phone out of her pocket and a virtual screen shone in front of her. The screen flashed red and green, showing a face of someone Ruka knew, but couldn't remember. She pressed the virtual screen as it flashed the color green, activating the call. The face was of a man, same age as her if not one year older, Ruka remembered his name was Loki. Loki was a friend of hers in the real world and inside the game. Loki stared at Ruka, then start ahead at her mother. Ruka noticed she was still outside her room, so she stepped inside and the door closed behind her. "What do you want, Loki"? Loki smiled,"Didn't you get my message"? Ruka looked at him like he was crazy, then she remembered the buzzing of her phone during class. She glared at him ,"So that was you...what do you want"? Loki laughed,"Still feisty as always. But I'll tell you since I know you don't like to wait. I need you to go and pick up a certain book from the library in Caseus ". Ruka raised her eyebrow,"A book"? Loki nodded,"Yes, this book contains black magic potions and secrets so you must not let anyone see you". Ruka looked at him,"Why must I get it"? He begged,"Please Ruka you are the only one I can ask". Ruka sighed and agreed to his request. After farther details he hung up and Ruka flopped down on her bed. She reached for a remote and pressed a button that read, "Yggdrasil". Two words came out of Ruka's mouth before she fell asleep,"Game commence".

Ruka was drifting in countless of data from different places. Codes were everywhere around her, she stared up at them fascinated. A stream of codes hit Ruka dead on changing her appearance, but the only thing that changed was her clothing. She was know wearing a purple jacket, with checkered outlines. The jacket reached down to her waist, only the top was buttoned. A blue rose sat on the right side of her jacket. She had black shorts with a platinum belt, and a platinum rose on the middle of that belt. A silk lace choker adorned her neck, and hanging down from her choker was a platinum cross with a pink gem on top. She landed in Caseus filled with the noise of people,"Its so loud". She looked around to see a library at her left, which Loki had described to her, and walked towards it. She silently looked around making sure no one was watching her.

Roderick J. Enrhyme : Hexion City

Buzzing and whirling of vehicles echoed lightly through the streets. Every now and again a small wave of disturbed air from one of the overhead flying cars would roll by. The light from the lowering sun bounced off of the tall mirrored glass buildings to shine down gently on the streets. RJ loved this city, Higonomiya City, it was always so full of life or noise that almost always made a smile pull on the corners of his mouth. Sometimes they would even have him in a full grin that probably made him look half insane to anyone actually paying attention in the crowded streets. Today was no different, he strolled through the streets with a purposeful stride, the smile playing on the edge of his lips.

A ringtone imitating "Soul Man" played in RJ's ears as a vibration rumbled against his chest. With a quick reach into the pocket, he pulled out flat panel of what looked to be a light-up plexiglass edged in a smooth black silicone and a pair of glasses. The object in his hand rumbled again, before he glassed on at the name flashed over the light-up screen. As he drew his a thumb over the screen, pulls the phone up barely in front of his face, and puts on the glasses, he answered with a quick "RJ here, what's going on?"

RJ's parents greeted him for their weekly call, waving nonchalantly at their son in his augmented reality glasses. They chatted happily back and forth as he wove through the people and streets as he made his way toward his apartment. Though the voices were loud enough to be heard, they weren't overpowering; he still could hear the lively city sounds echoing faintly around him. His gaze shifted to look through the images of his parent so he could keep track of where he was when he could. The floating street sign caught his eye. He said goodbye to his parents as he pulled the glasses off and shoved them with his phone back into their respected pocket.

A sign flashed above his apartment as he turned off the no less crowded sidewalk and towards the doors of an everyday apartment complex. It wasn't anything fancy, but it wasn't outrageous in price so it was good enough for him. The doors slid open and he bowed his head at the woman at the front desk. The uniformed lady smiled and bowed her head back to him as his feet carried him to the elevators. A beep sounded in response to "Going up," and the doors to the elevator pulled back. "Twenty-third floor."

RJ finally stepped up to his door and planted his hand firmly on a panel in the middle of the door. His hand left the panel just as the door unlatched and vanished to the left. As soon as his foot hit the carpet, a large black cat rammed her full body into his leg happily and the lights flicked on. The high, vibrant purr of the feline as she weaved through his legs made RJ snicker. A quick pat was all she need before she was sated and ran back to her spot on his sofa and plopped down, still purring happily. With a savage grin plastered on his face, RJ walked over to snatch up his visor. The couch gave a small thump as he plopped down onto it, opposite the now dozing cat. Then there was nothing besides a blank screen and the words 'Start up?' flashing lightly. "Let kick it up!" roared RJ.

Outside sounds and feeling slowly fade, the machinery pushing out everything for a moment. Data, code, lines of information all swirled around in erratic patterns and styles. Some of them were less random than others, going straight to their source or destination, others bounced around from place to place without even a second to pause. Slowly a world began to form, everything started to congeal into a platform, then a road, then a building, then a city as far as the eye could see. His lost sense started coming back. He could hear others running and yelling, he could smell the new city, the gentle breeze that seemed to always be there. He arrived at Hexion City, his guild's main base. "It's going to be a good night!"

Shard Arcus; Senayou slums/ Festo

Shard finished his soup, not the best meal but it was filling. He was quite happy today, no chores to do, no work to be done, it freed up a lot of spare time. He moves over to the window and looked out onto the Senayou slums below. The house he now lived wasn’t the biggest or the fanciest house in the world, but when he looked out onto the conditions that some people had to face, it made him very appreciative. It wasn’t all bad here; in fact there was an abundance of upper middle class citizens. Shard’s uncle worked as a mechanic for vehicles in the area. Shard would often help out, though mainly stayed at home, either practicing his programming or simply playing some yggOn. As for now, as he looked over the slums, he noticed something. Or sensed it perhaps, or maybe a mixture of both. There was a sense of kinship in the poorest parts, co-operation and teamwork, fighting against the odds. It was… different if nothing else. He heard his uncle proceed into the kitchen and turned to greet him.

Shard opened the door to his room and entered, locking the door behind him. He sat down in his desk chair and opened his music library in his neural visor, sifting through the assortment of songs. Today was really going to be a working day in the world of Yggdrasil online. He needed to work a bit more on some equipment he was modifying and hopefully be able to test them out. He always liked to list to music whilst working and he needed to bring the music he wanted ‘in with him’ or so to speak. Once he had picked out his playlist, he picked out the game and entered ‘game commence’.

The world around him enveloped into code and he entered his small workshop in Festo, pleased to see that no one had touched any of his work. He looked through the pile of scrap metal and unfinished sketches to try and find what he was working on when he logged off. He found it after abnormally long time, under a pile of scribble notes. He had been working on an adjustment on his target finder scope. He has been modifying it to be able to detect magical energy and then point it out. At the moment it works, well kind of. It currently detects energy, but all of it. And when your defending a city that has electricity and proton energy literally everywhere it doesn’t work so well. So he set to work adjusting the programming to separate the constraints.

Meet Siobhan

Flour dusted along the rosy cheeks, forehead, and the right rear pocket of twenty-two years old Siobhan. Dark eyes glimmered, from the exposed heat and as well as her need for perfection, as she scanned the flawlessly lifted layers tucked, still, safely in the brightly lit contraption. Her puckered lips turned at the corners, a well satisfied smile gracing her typically mundane appearance as she carefully closed the oven door, and turned the beeping timer off.

“This is a waste of time.”
Positioned, comfortably on an island seat, with cropped bleach blonde hair tucked behind pierced ears, and odium filled eyes intent on the unopened frosting and icing tubs placed on the opposite side of the island-counter, younger sibling Cora voiced her unnecessary opinion. Her irritated gaze locked with Siobhan’s confused one before a small smile graced the older sister’s lips once more, and a delicate hand was waved through the air by Siobhan; banishing away all negative statements.
“I don’t think so.”
Cora thinned her lips in an unhappy line at the easy reply, her feet balanced on the waxed wooden floor when she slid –in an uncouth fashion- off the seat, and gripped the butt of the stainless steel frosting spatula laying silent. Siobhan’s smile remained solid, and with hands tucked safely in overly stuffed mittens, Siobhan carefully removed the heated baking pan from the oven and placed it securely on the awaiting island. “This is the least we can do.” She said. “It is, after all, the anniversary of their joint deaths.” Both sisters allowed the words to hang –like a wet cloth- over their heads; both wandering through their memories for glimpses of their deceased siblings to their mother and father.
“They don’t care.”
“Oh, Cora, honestly, I worry about your brashness sometimes. Of course our parents car—“but Cora cut her sister’s words short by lifting the spatula, and stabbing the air with each emphasized word.
“Your” jab “parents” jab. She turned the sanitized steel towards her chest, anger no longer clear in her now hurt filled eyes. “I” jab “was disowned” jab “remember??”

Slender fingers stilled on the ties of the lime coloured apron knotted around her petite waist. Siobhan lifted her sorrow filled eyes to her younger sister, and puckered her lips. She hated when that subject was brought up, that was the only argument she was unable to win against her stubborn parents; the acceptance of her sister’s outlandish choices. “You know it was just in the heated moment of fir—“and again she was cut off.
“Oh please, heated moment my ass, Siobhan. How can you disown your last born- at sixteen?! News flash, ma and da, it’s called growing up. Experimenting and trying new things. If it weren’t for you Siobhan, I’d be whoring my body around just for breakfast money, and you know it.” Cora slammed the utensil on the clean countertop, her eyes clenched shut as thumbs moved up and rubbed at her pulsing temples; her words slow and spaced as though speaking with only a child. “When will you see things for what they really are, Sio’? When will you stop siding with them? If it wasn’t death, like our brother and sister, it was banishmen—“
“They are not responsible for neither Kylie nor Eamon’s deaths, don’t say that!” Her last word ended on a shrieking note, pain evident in the way her eyes bulged out of their sockets, the way her shoulders hunched over; tensed. Grief suddenly washed over her baby sister, and Cora could only march guiltily around the counter to Siobhan and leisurely rinse the previously forgotten spatula.

“How long should I wait?” Cora asked, leaving the stressed conversation for a later time.
“No longer than twenty minutes,” Was her sister’s raspy retort. “Allow it to cool then put the frosting on. Give that some time, and then write their names along with the years they’ve been gone with the icing. Niall, mum, and da will be at the restaurant later tonight. I’ll be in my room until it’s time for us to go.” Siobhan exhaled a tired sigh, placed her apron on its designated hook, and lazily climbed the steps up to her master bedroom. “I’ll be on YggOn...”
“All right.”
And that was the end of that.

Their parents had disowned Cora, yes. Their siblings were dead, yes. But that did not make their parents –their very strict and stubborn parents- guilty of murder! Growing up in the home they did, Cora knew what she was doing was wrong, was looked at with disapproval around the entire community, was unacceptable. Yet she dyed her hair from its beautiful auburn, and pierced as many areas on her cream coloured skin as she possible could. She was out late, having no sense of time, and spoke to everyone however she saw fit.
“How am I supposed to protect someone that is willingly going against the laws?” Siobhan asked herself. She pulled the palm sized towel from her dampened face and dried her hands before she stepped towards the small opening by her bathroom door, and dropped the used cloth into the laundry chute. She watched, without seeing, as it travelled down -towards her machines on the ground floor to be automatically washed-, and then moved towards her private equipment area; finding comfort in laying stretched out along her over sized recliner. Width and length almost the size of a queen square bed, she fiddled with the aluminium shaded gadgets alongside the arms of the adjustable seat as her eyes slipped shut. Secluded away and with all things around her silent, her fingers travelled above her head before locating what she desired, and brought the headgear over her eyes.

“Commence game...”

Rikou Fernandez

Ten feet beneath the Taisho River lies an ancient battleship. Inside, the walls are lined with glowing panels that light the whole structure up. In the battleships control room, a panel has been repeating the same broadcast that cannot be heard by anything or anyone "Requesting immediate EVAC. Personals - One - OPS TEAM 711 Member Code 7." The only survivor has given up on waiting and is now finding his way out.

"Are you sure you want to do this Rikou? There is no turning back once you do, you know." said a mysterious shadow as it marks the wall with a big X. "Yes Adoles!! I have been stuck in this forsaken place with a wandering soul for at least a hundred days!! I need to get out and report to my authorities about what had happened and that we have seen the perpetrator." yelled Rikou at the mysterious shadow while he puts on his old uniform and gear. Rikou then starts to push the Razor too place. "Your sure its here? I don't want to just die because I launched myself using a rocket jet onto a wall." said Rikou as he enters the Razor and arms the guns. "Yes Rikou this is the right place. Just remember that once you get out fly high or else you'll get sucked back into the ship and get crushed in it." Rikou nodded as he starts up the engines. The Razor roared to life as the engines blow out deadly thrusts of Ionized flame. The launching platform that the Razor started to role forward. Rikou pulled the trigger and kicked then thrusters after. The Razor shot like mad, firing it's minigun, 50mm cannons and Goliath's Ion cannon towards the X on the wall.

The Razor shot itself out of the wall and into the river, then out into the free air. Rikou gained altitude then he looked down at the site. What once used to be a village and jungle now stands a gigantic city. Suddenly the console on the Razors Hud started beeping- WARNING WARNING FUEL FEED LOW FUEL FEED LOW. "Oh man now what". said Rikou as he searches for a good place to crash land at. Rikou had no choice so he crashed the Razor into the river. Rikou then swam to the shore and got out of the river like a trained Navy SEAL. He rushed into the shadows and hid there. The place Rikou was briefed before was now a whole different place, so many new buildings, and structures. As Rikou checked his weapons he heard someone near by, he turned and saw a girl around his age, a civilian. "Miss can you tell me what place is this, and also what is the date? asked Rikou towards the young lady.

Takuya Kagamine

Upon reaching that big building, a giant two sided door, two times his height. Before he stepped inside the door, he mumbled something which seemed to be a password. "Black Swordsman". It was his code. His title was the recognition of his entire guild, and as he stepped inside the lit hall, the members came towards and greeted him, all with their smiles on their faces. "Welcome back, Taku." A distant voice further in revealed Fiona. Her petite figure and her white dress was the most stood out feature of her. Her legs swung in the air, and Takuya slowly approached her. "What's is it, that you need me, Fiona?" He asked, replie
d with a sign signalling for him to follow her. They approached a door to the left, and it closed right after Takuya stepped in.

They followed the long empty hall, lit by the candle fires, and the hall echoed their footsteps. No longer than five minutes later, they reached a rather normal room with a giant table in the middle. It was colored red with black stripes, and once Fiona touched it, a screen popped out, showing their guild logo. It changed with a lot of tabs opening, and Fiona closed all of them, with the exception of one of them; the current frontline city of Bio Walls, Tekyou Hanamon. The largest building in the middle was categorized as the guild's position. She pointed at the walls, with a four tank lined up in order, facing its back towards the walls, hiding the generator.

"Two choice; Guard our frontline base, Cranium City or attack with WoV. Choose." She declared. Takuya waved his hands and proceeded to pointing his finger to Cranium City. "Guard. I have some business after this that I should conserve my energy first." With that as his reply, he walked back out of the room. Fiona, marking a paper beside, ticking the side that says 'Cranium'. "Should have knew." She smirked.

Yui Akiyama

With the approaching of one of her friends in game, Yui stopped reading. She looked up, and found Tessy, her closest online friend. "So, what are gonna do? About him." Tessy asked, a smile on her face. Instantly, Yui broke into blushes, as she tries to avoid the subject. "W-What are you talking, Tes?! W-Who were you talking about?!" She quickly hid her face and dragged Tessy outside and to an alleyway. "You better no tell anyone about this, or I'll skin you alive! Got that?!" She yelled out in anger, while Tessy smiled nervously. "Alright, alright. You have my promise." Yui finally calmed down, and turned away. "Thanks..."

A beeping sound rung in her ears, as she checked the time. "It's 5 already, so I have to go. See you later, Tes." She announced, and looked up towards the sky. "Make sure you don't tell anyone." With that as her last speech and 'End game' command, she logged out the game.

The visor covering sight blinked green, as the alarm went off. She had to get back up now and go cook her dinner. She shuted off her visor and placed it on her bed. She went and clicked the lights back on, lighting the whole room. She walked to her kitchen and turned the heater up. She took eggs from her fridge and broke it, the contents flowing down inside the stove. Minutes later, she made a western breakfast, although it should be dinner now, but didn't cared. She was about to go out and buy meals anyway, so this is just snacks before it. She finished the meal, washed the plates, and wore her usual clothes; a white shirt with long blue pants.

She was walking alone in the streets, next to the Taisho River, which was the biggest river in the city, when she heard a loud splash. She tried to find the splash incident, but to her surprise, none was there. She thought it was her imagination, so she brushed it off and continued towards the supermarket, when she was approached by a boy, with relatively young face.

"Miss, can you tell me what place is this, and also what is the date?"

She clicked her tongue and brought up her plain black watch. She was surprised that someone dressed like this wasn't seen by anyone, and the worst possible question was how did he not know where is this? Higomiya City is probably the best known throughout the world! Nevertheless, she answered his questions. "This is Higomiya City, and today is the fifteen of March."

With a sudden jolt, the robot hummed to life. Her dainty right eyelid slowly lifted, revealing a glazed eye. For a moment it remained dilated, looking up towards the ceiling but lacking focus. The scarlet irises then began to emit a glowing light, distinct lines resurfaced within the circle and spun in a hypnotising spiral. Rhee's body pulsed and vibrated as a bright script was projected.

Rhee blinked several times before rising from her bed. With no signs of fatigue visible on her body, she smoothly removed a large plug from her back. She gazed across the room, the area she called home. To most people, it would've been recognised it as a workshop of sorts. High-tech equipment was neatly stored in boxes or wrapped in protective covering and placed to the side. A large wardrobe filled the majority of one wall, not filled with clothes but with prosthetic skin suits and spare parts. A desk close to the bed, was deep in boxes of ammo - highly explosive and highly chemical. A dim lamp above swung dangerously low. The floor was swept and no unnecessary clutter was to be seen. It was a home, nonetheless, and Rhee loved it with a fiery passion. It was also a gift from her guild: Bio Walls. If she loved anything more than her home, it was her guild. In fact, she practically lived within the base. She owed the guild so much and she was very grateful for what they had done. If it had not been them, "Rhee" may not have even existed to this day. Chances are that she would've been a pile of junk, hastily thrown into a rubbish dump. Because of this, the female robot was more than prepared to sacrifice her life for the guild. Something she did every now and again.

The cyborg shifted off the bed and stretched. She flexed her fingers and curled her toes. Rhee grabbed her outfit from a hanger which dangled pre-cautiously off a rusty nail. Rhee stared at the outfit with warm appreciation and let the cloth slide through her fingers. It was a low-slung dress the colour of ebony, paired with a collared vest and a black ribbon. Her boots rested against the wall directly beside where the dress had been placed and a pair of black thigh-high socks were carefully folded inside. This specific outfit had been chosen so that it matched the eyepatch that covered her left eye. She set about quickly getting dressed and styling her long white hair into a trailing ponytail. Once all had been done, she stepped in front of her mirror. Rhee stared at the image, at her reflection. A memory suddenly popped into her head, the robot recalled watching a human girl tilt her head and smile while talking to a boy of a similiar age. The robot slowly leaned her head over and stretched her mouth until she was satisfied. Was this a technique used to attract a mate? Are offspring produced from doing this? Humans were indeed fascinating.

Rhee nodded to herself in self-encouragement before briskly moving away from the mirror and towards the exit. Today was going to be a good day. She repeated the phrase several times in her head, it was apparently a normality to do so in the morning. The android took her sniper rifle and her Z-390 from the rack beside the door and slipped both over her head. She chose to leave Vengeance. It would've been a battle to drag all three across the base, not to mention the Gatling laser used an electron charged backpack. She rarely used it anyways, that kind of ridiculous power was only needed for invasion. Rhee liked the weight of a weapon on her back, it was a comfort she had grown to over the years. With a final smooth of her dress, she twisted open the door and stepped out.

Ruka walked into the Library, people glancing at her as she passed by. Ruka grumbled to herself,"Yea right, not going to be noticed. You idiot". Ruka looked around for the man with the red hat, knowing he is the one who she was supposed to meet. She walked along the shadows of the Library, watching her surroundings. A few minutes later she found the man she was about, he was in fact wearing a red hat, the other features she truly didn't care for since they wouldn't meet each other again. She walked up behind the man and sat in the chair facing the opposite direction of him. The man noticed Ruka sit down and asked in a normal voice," Are you Insanity"? Ruka nodded in response,"Yes". Insanity was actually Loki's nickname, but since they were expecting him, he told her to use it. He slide the book under the chair, which stopped in between Ruka's feet. "You have what I need"? Ruka didn't move just stared into space, remembering what Loki told her to say,"Yes I do, I sent it to your guild". The man nodded,"Good". He got up and walked away leaving Ruka and the book alone.

A smile came to Ruka's face and as the man left she mouthed some words,"Tricked you". Ruka knew Loki very well and understood what ever deal they made Loki never gave them their half. Ruka pulled out her phone, a screen surrounded her eyes and a keypad appeared were her hands were, she began to type. I secured the book I am on my way to were you are know. She put away the phone and stood up. She picked up the book, and to her amazement it was quite Small about the size or a little bit bigger of her hand. She kept it in a firm hold and causally walked out of the library. She stopped at the middle of the town and waited sitting on a bench.

::Robin Hawthrone::

"Deep breathes Sally, take deep breaths." Robin said to the frustrated freshman who was out of breath. Probably because Robin wasn't letting her use a bow, but making her stretch a strap. The girl couldn't even compose her breathing and stand straight. So Robin was starting from the very beginning, she was aiming to make the girl's arms stronger, she knew it was going to take long, but she loved both teaching and archery, listening to the whines and complaining of her friends were not annoying for her.

The brunette girl threw the strap away with an impatient groan. Her face was twisted with disappointment and unbelief. "Isn't this the Archery Club? Why am I trying to pull a goddamn plastic belt?!"

"Sally, you're not ready--"

"You keep saying I'm not ready Robin, when will I be ready?"

Robin wasn't sure, she would be able to pull the string of a bow in about at least one year in her condition. She named this kind of people like Sally, 'science and technology babies' in her head. They had no idea of bearing the hardships of working to achieve something they wanted, the technology has made the people lazy and weak. Robin liked to give her examples about that, the one she most liked was about throwing some of them in a classical Saw movie. See if they survive.

"Okay, here it is." She went over the huge table made from lime tree and picked up an one piece bow that could fit Sally's height and mass. Robin flashed a smart aleck grin to the petite girl and extended the wooden bow for her to take. "Try to stretch the strings now."

Sally smiled confidently and took the bow and balanced it, to see if it fitted her hand perfectly. Of course it did, Robin had picked it out for her after all, it was pretty light and easy to use!

The girl's smile started to waver after she tugged on the string on the first try. On the other hand, Robin's grin was telling the exact same thing she was thinking: "I hate to say 'I told you' but, I told you.".

The girl was exhausted after a minute of pulling.

"Why can't I pull it?" She turned to Robin, who was playing with the bow.

"I've explained it to you before softie, basically you have no strength in your bones and your muscles are all tallow. I'm trying to make them stronger."

Sally looked like she was going to cry, so Robin grinned at her and put a hand on her shoulder. "You're still a beginner Sally, don't fret yourself over it. Practicing makes it perfect." When she saw the brunette's pout she captured her in a headlock and muffled her hair. "Ch-eer up! I'm helping you!"

"Okay okay! Geez, let me go already! You win!" Sally struggled to get out of her hold but Robin was way stronger that the petite girl. She broke in laughs after a while and this made the copper haired girl let go of her.

"Soooooooo," Robin extended the word for Sally to complete what she was going to say.

"I'm not going to complain and keep practicing!" Sally picked up the strap she had threw away and strolled towards the changing room with lazy steps. Robin watched her retreating figure for a while, her brown hair was pulled in a high ponytail and her forehead was covered with a thick blanket of sweat, she was flushed and she still was panting. Robin sighed and sit on the polished wooden floor of the Archery Club's meeting room. She was having a hard time dealing with swaggy freshmans, probably because she was stressed lately. She had her university exam coming up, and there was 'that case' she had to deal with.

She waved her hand tiredly when Sally bid goodbye to her and lay on the cold floor for about fifteen minutes, watching the lime white ceiling. She was lethargic to raise her arm and push away the copper lock tickling her face, so she had wasted some time to huff it away with her breath.

She thought she was daydreaming at first, but when she noticed she couldn't move her body, she knew it was one of the visions she was having. She hated those, because she immediately forgot what she has seen when she woke up, and remembered it while she was living exact same thing she had dreamed of.

Sucks.

She straightened herself on her elbows, suddenly remembering her mother. She didn't keep the track of time, so who knows what time it is. She quickly got up, slightly staggering on her way to gather her things up, it took her five minutes. “Waaaaahhh!” She mumbled nervously at herself, she was late!

She opened the sliding door with accesing her student ID card to the idendity reader and dashed through the halls of the academy as soon as the door opened, She bumped one of her students and barely heard his protests. She made out “Robin” and “Calm down.”. Heck, she didn’t remember seeing the guy somewhere before, and yet it wasn’t a surprise he knew her name. Who didn’t know her anyways? Short ginger with crazy curly hair. Basicly, there was no other ginger in her school, why Lady Luck, why?

She stopped in front of her locker and took of her school shoes and took them off with one hand while the other opened the little door of her locker, she couldn’t help but gaze at inside, searching for a photo of her father. But no, none was there. They had stopped coming after she was logged on Yggdrasil Online. Robin had not logged on the game for one week to see if anything suspicious was going to happen but nada for that too. Her only regret was that she was going to be boiled by the guild leader very well. Meep.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

“Muum! I’m home!” She called out for her mother after closing the door of their small apartment flat. It was cute and warm, her mum liked it especially because it was easy to keep clean. Robin admitted she was the one who dirtied their home mostly but she liked eating popcorn!

She mentally slapped herself when she remembered her mother wouldn’t be home this weekend. Surprise surprise! It was friday today! Robin wanted to became an ostrich and bury her head under soil really bad for one moment.

Robin dragged herself to her plainly decorated room and threw her schoolbag away who knows where. She hopped on her comfortable bed and started to stare at the ceiling. She was alone for two and a half day. What should I do, she thought. She had three choices.

A.) Yggdrasil Online,
B.) Studying
C.) Yggdrasil Online.

She honestly was afraid of Fiona’s temper, there, she admitted it. But there was something eating her inside out, like a really bad thing was going to happen soon. And she couldn’t face her friends if she wasn’t there and they—

Stop thinking unnecessary things, she tried to soothe herself. With a sudden decision, she got up and closed the curtains and switched the game open and making herself comfortable with the extra pillows she put under her head.

She loved the feeling when she was transferring to the virtual world, passing through many codes and numbers left a tingling sensation on her skin, switching her avatar. It was nothing different than the real her, only her hair was a shade darker, closer to crimson. Her clothes changed as well, her capri and tank top were raplaced with a simple Camelot-styled satin-cotton sea blue dress. She prefered to keep on her cloak this time.

As she materialized on a green field, Robin had a feeling that something was awfully wrong. She started praying that Fiona wouldn’t scold her THAT bad.

Don’t pray for the impossible, she remembered her mother’s advice. But it wouldn’t hurt trying right?

She turned around herself and tried to recognize the area. Ah! She thought when she felt the familiar feeling of a barrier nearby. She used it as a compass and reached the familiar city. She smiled with nostalgia but shivered as she thought nostalgia was particular to old people.

She made her way towards the city and furrowed her eyebrows, the bad sensation on her belly had started to increase. But she didn’t stop walking and watched the cloudy sky, hoping it would calm her down.

Passing through the strong light barrier, she noted that it was strong, stronger than it was before. Something was happening. She was considering strolling around the city and hanging around with other players but the feeling was telling her to go to the headquarters directly.

She obeyed it this time. When she was in front of the entrance of the overly huge building she looked around with a ‘cat’ look plastered on her face. She had to say her entry password on loud and…What kind of nickname and password was “Frizzly”?! Frizzly for goodness’ sake!

When she was sure no one was looking at her, she muttered “Frizzly” under her breath and had to repeat it louder because her voice wasn’t strong enough for the sensor.

When the gigantic doors of Dark Radiance headquarters opened for her, all the heads turned on her and she got into a silent staring competition with the guild members.

After a while she scratched her neck awkwardly and managed to say “Yo, been a long time!”

There was no way that Fiona couldn’t have noticed her.

Damn.

Loki Akatsuki and Ruka Kaname

Loki walked through the shadows knowing he was running late," She is probably really mad me right now". Loki spotted Ruka sitting on a bench, in the middle of town. A sneaky smile came on his face,as he saw she was in deep thought. Wanting to scare her, he tip-toed quietly towards the distant Ruka. He was right behind her, when he soundlessly bent down. He counted to three in his head, then blow on Ruka's ear softly,"Guess who", he said mischievously.

Ruka at this moment had jumped up, she spun around holding her blade to Loki's neck, about to cut him. She glared at him,"How many times have I told you not to do that", she put her sword away and sat back down.

Loki jumped over the bench and sat down beside her, he studied her expression for a minute,"What's wrong"? He understood that something bad had happened, since Ruka hadn't beat the snot out of him like she usually did.

Ruka glanced over at Loki," What are you planning"? She said this in a melancholy tone, staring straight ahead as if she was talking to the wind.

Loki smiled happily,"I don't know what you are talking about", Loki loved to play with Ruka, especially when she was like this.

Ruka kept her head straight ahead,"I read the book Loki...this is black market information. It's top secret not even most of the guilds have it. So why do you"? At this moment she was facing Loki with serious eyes.

Loki could only smile at Ruka, and for a long period of time. He was going over in his mind rather he should tell his plan to Ruka or wait for later. He knew the answer just from Ruka's expression, and he smiled happily at her,"If you most know I was requested by a person to gather some information".

Ruka pondered on those words,"Then you are saying this isn't your plan, but someone else who is using you"?

Loki smiled all-knowingly which made Ruka upset,"Yes and No. It is for someone else, but I'm using them, instead of them using me".

Ruka looked at the sky,"Does your guild know about this"?

Loki froze at the question and gave a bitter smile,"Why should they care, it doesn't effect them in anyway".

Ruka laughed a little,"But wouldn't you get in trouble if they found out you had this book"?

Loki didn't smile this time and nodded,"Probably, they would give me some sort of punishment, but they always do".

Ruka nodded and handed Loki the book, which he took. Loki looked at Ruka for a few minutes more, before asking,"I saw your Father again".

Ruka froze at his words, and her expression grew grave,"Why are you talking about him as if I had something to do with it"?

Loki smiled,"Why don't you just come and live with me, it would be way easier on you then, being at home with a family that doesn't love you".

Ruka laughed,"No thank you I rather not". Ruka started at the buildings in front of her, trying not to think about her family.

Loki smirked,"I tried. Anyway shouldn't you be with your guild won't you get in trouble for missing so many meetings"?

Ruka was paying any attention,"If they want me they can come and get me. And besides you have no reason to talk, shouldn't you be with your guild as well".

Loki laughed at her words and sat there quietly with Ruka, observing the people as they passed them. Ruka got up from her comfortable position and walked away. "Bye, Ruka", Loki had yelled as Ruka walked toward headquarters.

Ruka Kaname

It was true that Ruka hadn't been at headquarters for a while, but it wouldn't hurt them if she wasn't there...

Right?

Ruka felt that she would probably get in a lot trouble the moment she walks into the headquarters, she stood in front of it as she felt heavy tension over the huge building.

"Only for a few minutes, then I will leave", Ruka kept repeating the words in her head, telling her self she would be in and then out.

Ruka had to say her entry password, knowing she couldn't get in with out it, "Platinum Angel", she said in somewhat of a hushed voice, but loud enough that she could be heard.

The doors had slide open making a loud banging sound.

Ruka felt the stares of the people around, and she didn't dare look around.

She stepped into the hall, ignoring the whispers around her and walked toward an empty space and stood there leaning against the wall.

Robin stood there frozen for a moment. Because there were no warm welcomes or friendly teasings coming from her comrades. The situation was much worse than she expected. The members soon started to mind their own business and talked about something Robin couldn't quite name of.

She murmured "Fancy..." to herself and tucked some of the red locks that fell on her face under her ear. She wanted to join a conversation but a tense atmosphere were dominating the first floor of the Dark Radiance headquarters. She suddenly started to feel like a stranger and looked for a place where she could observe what was going on properly. Then she noticed a girl was standing alone as well. Platinum Angel, she reminded herself, Robin knew her. The blue-black haired girl was both beautiful and alluring, but her weirdness was following them closely behind. Robin used to play "Yu-Gi-Oh, Duel Monsters", she had a habit to match people to the monsters over there. Allure Queen was perfect for Platinum Angel.

She noticed she was staring at her and turned her gaze away from her, the blue haired girl probably had noticed Robin staring. I'm an idiot! she thought. No harm coming from a glance, right?

When she turned to Platinum Angel, Robin noticed she was staring at her too. No, not quite. More likely, her hair? Ans she was smiling! Robin noticed her eyes were a light shade of amethyst, the girl was definitely alluring, not beautiful.

She grinned at the girl naively and waved at her, then pointed at her hair and sweatdropped. Maybe if she went to talk with her, she could get information about this situation.

Come to think of it, she thought. Fiona didn't show up yet. I wonder why?

Ruka Kaname

Ruka noticed the girl waving at her, she stared at her for a few moments, then smiled.

She has never seen someone so naive before, here at the headquarters, it was like it was just in her nature.

Who was she again, Ruka had to think, then she quickly remembered, Frizzy.

Ruka couldn't help but laugh a little,"How cute", she said.

Ruka thought for a short moment maybe she knows about what is happening here at the headquarters.

She looked around for a minute then, as if she had made a big decision or something she called for Frizzy over,"Hey, you come here for a second".

Ruka saw her jump a little, then laughed at the girl's innocence, "This looks promising". She walked over to Frizzy and stood in front of her.

Now that she got a better look at her, she looked almost like a big red stuffed animal that you would want to hug. And at this thought Ruka couldn't help but giggle a little.

What an interesting person Ruka had met, she wondered why she hasn't seen much of her, then she remembered she hasn't been at headquarters for a long time.

No shit Sherlock, she ain't mean me, Robin thought to herself. Of course she wasn't, Platinum Angel could be calling an other player too. Okay, she was being stupid right now, Robin wasn't myopic, she could totally tell if Platinum Angel was looking at her or not. And they had just stared at each other, not to mention the girl had laughed and giggled at her.

She nearly had logged out when Platinum Angel appeared right in front of her. Just when?! Tsk tsk, she had spaced out again hadn't she.

Positive, Watson inside her corrected.

Up close, the girl was even more beautiful, her eyes looked one or two shades darker but they were still a lovely shade of violet, her hair was closer to blue. Robin had to correct herself, this girl was elegant, alluring and beautiful.

God bless the genes, why couldn't puberty hit her like a golden ball? Ah nevermind.

"Yo!" She said, raising her right hand a little to greet her. "The name is Frizzy, and you're Platinum Angel I know." She laughed awkwardly. "You name is kinda long can I shorten it? I mean like Angie or Plat-Flat, oh but you're not flat at all, I mean you look fabulous but Plangie would suit you and it sounds cool as well--"

She noticed she was blabbering, she always blabbered when she was meeting someone for the first time anyways.

"Um...I'm sorry, do you know what's going on here."

She tried to ignore the weird look she was getting from blue haired beauty.

Ruka Kaname

Ruka could see that Frizzy was probably confused at this time, it surprised even Ruka herself, that she would laugh so openly to someone she just meet. Maybe Loki was right, something is wrong with me. She was thinking to herself, when she saw that Frizzy was staring at her with sparkling eyes. At this moment Ruka couldn't help but smile, this was the first time in a while Ruka has gotten a good laugh.

She saw that the girl was trying to make conversation, and Ruka smiled at her effort," Hello Frizzy, its a pleasure to meet someone a s brave as you".

She listened to all the interesting nicknames she was given, and when Frizzy got to Plangie, she wanted to fall to the floor laughing because of how funny this girl was being. Ruka smiled at Frizzy warmly, "You can call me Angie".

She couldn't believe this girl was able to say some interesting names, any other person would be to afraid to talk to Ruka, let alone give her such funny names. She smiled to herself, This girl has some guts.

Ruka remembered the question she was going to ask Frizzy, and her face went back to normal, showing no emotion. Ruka shaked her head,"No, I don't know what's going on here, to be honest I just got here, and I haven't been here for a while. I was going to ask you the same question, but it seems you don't know either".

Ruka didn't enjoy the feeling she got from being in here, but she knew that if she left something might happen and she didn't want to risk anything happening. Ruka thought for a second, Maybe Loki would know...I might ask him later. She looked back at Frizzy, forgetting what she was thinking.

With sustained buzzing and bleeping, the floating orb that was Rack directed his visor at the weapon, a pulse rifle, that lay on the workbench. A red light gently ran alongside the entire firearm, transferring many variables, along with a blueprint, to the droid's hard drive which then analysed it.

“Error. 80.27 percent chance of charge-battery failing, suggest replacing it with Type B-7 for a more consistent pulse-release.” Rack stated in a generic, monotone and raspy male voice, his visor, or eye as it is often referred as, hastily shaking from left to right before leaving the scene rather... abruptly. Because that was what he, it, always did after completing its task. That was how it had been programmed, to analyse and deduct, to find flaws and come up with a solution.

It wasn't in Rack's programmed nature to sit and wait, not like humans did, anyway. There could never be time for rest when there was plenty of work to finish, not for one creation such as he, err- it. It was quite ready to check back on its creator, Piper. Perhaps her chat had gone well and was now ready to return to the task that was at hand.

“Aha! Found you.”

The black-metal orb immediately focused has red gaze at the figure who spoke, hearing the all-too-familiar voice of its creator. With a brief hop, Rack hovered towards Piper, buzzing around her for a moment before stopping to meet at eye-level. “Ah! Mistress, I hope your discussion went well?”

Piper could only raise a single, confused eyebrow, uttering a loud and wondering 'Huh?' as she cocked her head sideways.

“Your chat, ma'am. The one with the other mechanic.” Rack retorted as it once again hovered around the girl.

At that, Piper only had to huff, arms crossing over her chest as she straightened her head. “Oh, that. Yeah, it went great!” The girl answered with a large hint of sarcasm, sighing as she rubbed the back of her head, her eyes scouting the area- Hmm? What was that?

The girl's ears perked at the sound of... Well, mechanic stuff, y'know, tinkering. Piper always had a sixth sense for that kind of stuff, it meant that someone was doing something interesting. Paying no mind to Rack's response, not that the droid was able to comprehend sarcasm, Piper made a quick, albeit girly, hop to one of the doors that had been left open just slightly.

'Twas one of the private work areas, Bio Walls members only. Inside, she spotted someone working, or... attempting to get to work, anyway. Not that there was any difference to Piper, it was tinkering. And, like the curious mechanic that she was, she snuck inside, oblivious to the fact that she may be trespassing.

A blonde, ragged haired boy, or man, sat behind a desk, clearly too absorbed in his works to notice Piper. She remembered him, a fellow Bio Walls member! Err- S-Scar..?

No. Steve?

No. Broccoli?

Whatever. With a wide cat-grin now plastered on her face, Piper tip-toed behind whatshisname, leaning over his shoulder just enough so she could see what he was tinkering with. A scope, huh? “Whatchya doooooin~?” She asked in a cutesy tone, as she playfully kicked the floor with her feet, leaning on the desk with her arms crossed and her head resting on them.

Roderick J. Enrhym : Hexion City

A small chuckle escaped RJ for a moment, his eyes darting from place to place in the illuminated city. It was always bright in Hexion; this city in YggOn was just as alive as Higonomiya, aside from the fact that a lot of the life was artificial. Not that that mattered much to him, as long as there was noise and light. Someone called out something in the background, but RJ was still too hypnotized by the city. A hand grasped his shoulder a moment later and snapped him back from his dream-like start.

"Reaper, man, you going to space like every time that when you get into the game?" A man in black, chitinous-looking plate armor looked at RJ in mock disappointment. He was easily the same height at RJ and probably quiet a few pounds heavier due to muscle. His hair was cropped in a short, black crew-cut, and nose was bent slightly probably due to it being broken over and over again.

He nodded at the man and began walking down the street, motioning to follow, "Bet your ass I am, Koda. And I told you, call me RJ, I'm not depressing enough to be called by Reaper." He laughed at his own joke and clapped a hand on a shoulder plate of Koda's armor. "I'm headed to Festo, you gonna tag along?"

"Nah, I have to head back out to the front lines, I thought that's why you logged in." Koda looked up to him, "I thought that's why you logged on."

A look of minor annoyance flashed over his face for a moment, silence settling for a moment. A sign broke the silence and RJ shook his head, "Nope, wasn't even told about it. Not heartbroken about it though, probably just being too much of a bad ass or too stubborn. Eh, who knows?" The words came out faster than he wanted them too, but he just shrugged to make himself look calm instead of annoyed. "I got better things to do anyway. Oh and don't hurt yourself trying to beat my record. I set the bar high last time." A smirk curled his mouth as he turn to the street and stopped.

Laughter bubbled out from both of them and Koda shook his head, "You know, you're not the Hero of Hexion, not yet, and when have I not beaten you 'Hi-score'?" The voice was mocking, but it was all in good fun.

Rj just grinned at the man as he pulled out a small beacon and mashed the button. "Good, give me another challenge, and I'll crush whatever you set."

"Sure thing, Reaper."

"Give 'em hell, Brute"

The air around the two hummed low as a sleek, crimson hover bike swooped down and idled in front of RJ. He slung his leg over the bike, giving a quick wave to Koda, and pulled a pair of goggles onto his face. The bike lurched forward as soon as his hands gripped the accelerator and speed off along the street for a moment before pulling up into the air. A smile fought for control, but it would be a mistake to smile fully with those pesky digital bugs and all. The sight of Hexion from the air was magnificent, though, he could focus of that later too. He needed to get to Festo while there were still a lot of shops open. Preferably a mechanic or inventor of some kind. "Set destination: Festo City." he commanded and the bike pulled a little left to correct the direction. With nothing else, other than a few other flying vehicles, in his way the trip would take no time at all. The air got colder it seemed as the bike began to increase speed at the slightest twist of the accelerator.

Festo City

RJ scratched the back of his head, confused about where in Festo he was exactly. "Damn it, maybe I should become more familiar with these places before I come to them. Though I suppose that really isn't my style." He rambled to himself has the walked the streets in a rather lost fashion. With a shrug he brought his hand to lock over and rest on his head as he wondered around the city aimlessly.

Meet Annex

Her grey eyes opened up to a clear, mid-morning atmosphere. Slender fingers and toes tingled from the travel-like sensation she always went through whenever passing into the game. Annex flexed her fingers a moment, and then wiggled her toes, the odd feeling drifting away as her gaze toured over the hushed forest. Just as the many times before, Annex found herself in her favoured area, safely hidden behind thick, moss covered tree trunks, with weeping willow branched softly pressed against her dark hair. Barely there clothing covered her shapely form, the chains she at times used as a weapon wrapped and coiled loosely around her form. In black and white, with a single step forward, Annex pushed through her stationary state; as though breaking some invisible barrier, and carried ahead towards the place she called home.

The sudden chirping caused Annex to slow her decisive saunter, and lift her head to the now visible sky.
“Well? Get down here.” His face taut as though smiling, the young creature swooped low, and circled the moving female in a pet-like greeting; his chirping increased at his obvious excitement. A smile pulled at Annex’s pursed lips, and clear eyes rolled to the heavens in mock exasperation as a trim hand reached to her tanned shoulder; gently cradling the immature animal to the crook of her neck. “Yes, I know.”
As the town came into view, dark eyebrows wrinkled at the somewhat empty streets, the short lines, and tense space.
“Hm...” Eyes narrowed, flat dark boots silently moving along the cobble walkways as she followed the paths through the city. “It seems something has happened here, Keno.” Her pet chirped in agreement, climbing up to her crown before clumsily toppling onto her opposite shoulder. “Let us wait here...” She lowered to a comfortable sit on a bench, eyes scanning the area once more before slipping shut; her hands folded on her lap.

Whatever was happening, someone was bound to pass or entre, she was sure. Her skull tilted back, straight locks flowing in the light breeze -Keno buried in her hands-, as she waited.

“…so if I incorporate IR for fire magic, but then I’ll pick heat signatures from … no that won’t work, maybe… no. Yes? No no. Too messy.”

“Whatchya doooooin?”

Shard answered before thinking, not looking up from his work
“I’m constructing a energy detection system, much like how infra-red detects heat radiation. I’m hoping t-”

He stopped there, realizing he had no idea who or what he was talking to. Someone had snuck into his workshop and he hadn’t even noticed. Or maybe just walked in.
He looked back, and saw a ginger haired girl, short and with an overly large amount of piercings. He’d seen her before, a mechanic, temperamental to say the least. He also saw a small droid, or bot, robot. He was never saw what to call them. He didn't know who this mechanic's name, and he was curious about why she was here.

“And who exactly are you, may I ask?”

Takuya Kagamine

He walked out the candle lit room. The door that closed behind him once before, swung open right when he took a step towards it. The guild members all kept on chatting, some came and asked what did Takuya chose. "Cranium. I'll leave the battle up to you, youngsters." He said, smirking. That reply left the questioned members into a slight depression. His skills in a battle was unmatched, and any enemy stood in his way was all tore to pieces with his empowered Void Magic. But it was all going to be wasted, as his liking to not participate any invasions brought down the chances of successful invasions.

Takuya was reaching his way towards the giant door, attempting to exit again, when a message tab came into view. He opened the mail, and a message, stating 'From Fiona' left him questioned. "If you found these two girls, bring them to the conference room. I have something to ask them. Of course, you're coming too." is what was written in the message. He raised his hand, turning around, figuring out who was who, and the only two that he didn't recognize came into view. He replied the message with an 'Okay', and left to bring these two girls; Ruka Kaname and Robin Hawthrone, to the conference room he was in before.

Upon entering into their 'personal space', Takuya raised a hand and greeted them. He smiled and waited for a response, before adding in, "So are you two Ruka Kaname and Robin Hawthrone? Nice to meet you, I'm Takuya."

Wings of Vengeance

The leader, Lendon Alstair, was cheering and laughing, drinking beer. The members was all drunk except for him, as his toleration for alcohol was very good, and thus he was the one left out being not drunk. The guild had celebrated for the success of the latest invasion towards Galuna, the obstruction of the invasion towards Tekyou Hanamon, and a relieve party for the upcoming invasion. They were now currently in Galuna, where the city was filled with hole in walls and grounds, and the citizens all hid in their houses until the wall is fixed, as they were programmed to do so.

Lendon walked out to the balcony, and stared at the full moon hanging upon the dark blue sky. He leaned head-first onto the fence, and took another sip of his beer. He decided to inform everyone in Wings of Vengeance guild, to meet up at right here, and have a conference on the decisions of the forces, splitting the guild into two. He wrote the message rather quick and short, it being, "Come to Galuna Inn. We will have a conference on TekHa invasion. NO EXCUSES.". He sighed, and took another giant sip of his beer, waiting for the members to gather around.

Bio Walls

In a dim room lit by a table lamp, Astru Rendos sat in his chair, thinking of something. He let down his hands that was placed below his nose, and took a feather pen. He started writing something on a blank sheet of paper. It was more or less his habit from the real world, and what he wrote are mostly diaries, novels or letters. He's a real good writer, but he always avoids the praise by saying he's not good enough, but in truth, he just wanted to avoid the consequence if he did get famous; being not able to hang out with his friends in Yggdrasil Online. He valued friendship over anything, and would do anything to protect them or their friends too. Thus the style of Bio Walls was known; Protect and protect.

Minutes later after writing, a knock on the door was hear. "Come in, Margaret." The door slid open with a 'shh', and a women in a formal blue uniform walked in. She took the paper on her arms, and handed it over to Astru. He took the paper and checked it with a glance, and placed the paper down. He looked back up to Margaret for a moment before standing up aand pacing towards the window beside, his hands behind him. He looked at the white moon shining on Norais, the city of research labs.

The city was on top of a hill, with the only entrance being the foot of the mountain, and a huge green sphere, also called as force fields, covered the roof. It was made so that it could look transparent from the inside, and rock solid on the outside. The buildings are all organized neatly, but only two to three houses are in line. The others are all filled with machinery and weapons, standing a few inches below the houses. The city wasn't called the city of research labs for nothing. It was a dangerous bet to focus researches on one city, as if the enemy DO manage to enter the force field, they would abandon the place and self-destruct it. The researches the place left behind will be powerful enough to destroy the force field from inside, and spread a bit further, so the enemy will be destroyed in minutes.

Astru turned to Margaret, and gave her an order. "Go gather everyone here. We must have an discussion to protect our frontline base, Tekyou Hanamon. I will not allow for excuses like unable to come. Everyone present MUST come." Margaret nodded, and walked her way out the room. Astru turned back to the moon, almost as if admiring it. "We have to act faster. We don't have much time."

Helios Infinitum

Yastin Cason, alone in his tracks, stands in the middle field of dead bodies. He huffed and huffed, until he finally caught his breath to make another command. "Last round. Level ten. Fifty minutes." He readied his stance, as suddenly, a thousands of millions of human soldiers appeared and they all charged at him with their spears, swords, axes. With a swift move of his leg, he raised his double pistol, and pulled half of his body back. Spears stabbed past his side ways body, and they let out a surprised face. "Eat this." Emphasizing the last word, and pulled the trigger. The bullets hit the soldiers one by one, a line formed, but was then filled again by the soldiers at the side. He yelled to the top of throat, aiming his gun at every face he can see and pulling the trigger every time a face was aimed. "DIE, YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES!"

An hour later, the soldiers was all dead, on the ground. A giant 3D sign floated in the middle, as Yastin dropped to his knees, and sat back down later. The 3D sign was a floating warning of the ending of something, then suddenly, the wide battlefield filled with millions of dead soldiers disappeared as a thin white force field ran through over the entire place. What appeared after was a big metallic room with a room on top. A person inside raised a thumbs up, replied by Yastin's tired middle finger facing at the man.

That man was Rensus Sen. He claimed that he was Yastin's best friend, but his attitude towards him is really something that isn't friends, but more of enemy. They sat down on a bench in the city park, and Yastin gulped down liters of water from the plastic bottle. "Boy, that was refreshing." He let out a 'phew', then he turned to his huge friend. "What's my points?" He asked, wiping the sweat of his face. "98.67. Still at the top, followed by the Cool Beauty. She is still a 0.01 percent lower than you." Yastin clicked his tongue. Yui had the same fast shooting skills as him, but her reliance on snipers is what made her the second top of the rankings. Yastin stood back up and stretched his body. "Time to go and hold that useless conference. Not like we have any point on holding it, since I just know that everyone will join in the main force." He smirked, and send a message to everyone in the guild, telling them to gather at Hexion City for a conference. His showed his proud stance to Rensus, and he laughed.

Aerithel Siehart

It was a stressful three days for Aerithel. Training in the magic of Healing had fluctuated since the war had began, the infirmary had soon since been filled up, and not only three days ago the staff had asked upon her help because of all the injured, resorting to assistants that had no experience in healing but needing all the hands they could get.
Aerithel's job wasn't too difficult, but exhausting enough. She worked with the normal patients, sick and injured that had happened not because of the war, but from accidents or the recent flu that was traveling around. Once, she had to travel through the War Ward to obtain a certain type of medicine. There were healers near every bed, sweat dripping from their brows and newly arrived patients that had legs blown to pieces, blood soaking the sheets. A slight blue glow surrounded the ward from the spells the healers used, a droning sickening blue. The sight made her pale, despite many encounters on the field with badly injured friends or comrades, she was not used to seeing these sights off field in a place where it was supposed to be safe. It was a hard reminder that the war was getting closer.

After finishing with a small child who had broken her arm, Aerithel got tapped on the shoulder. A workmate told her she could leave for the day, saying she had done enough. Aerithel nodded and stood, making her way back home. Because of this whole mess at the infirmary she had almost forgotten that she was a newly recruited at Dark Radiance, something she was honored to be apart of, but she wondered what they were planning next. Surely she would be asked to come on field, something she hadn't done since the 'incident' and she hoped that she would still be as strong as she was before.

There was a small pond near her home that she felt drawn to, a place where she often released her thoughts at the end of a job, whether it be on field or during healing training. She sat and waited for nothing in particular.

How rude to ask a name before giving your own, let alone not knowing who your fellow members are. Piper hopped back on her two little feet, nicking the boy's scope from the desk and quickly hopping out of arms reach.

“Energy detector, huh?” Obviously ignoring the boy's question, Piper examined every inch, every mechanic, every... Everything, twisting it around with the tip of her fingers in a playful and reckless manner. “I can fix that up for ya! Infra-red is not difficult to add.”

The girl twirled back to face the boy, smiling ever so gently as she kept her emerald-green gaze on the scope. “Just a few fix'em-ups there, a laser here. Should not take too long- Hey! Haven't got tools around here, have ya?”

Piper hastily searched every shelf and possible tool-holder place for the obvious, her body darting around the claustrophobic room with the enthusiasm one would get when allowed to tinker with one of Bio Walls' tanks. So busy had she been with that, her footwork couldn't keep up, the girl tumbling down in a rather exaggerated and over-the-top fashion as she tripped over her own feet.

“Whoaaah!” She shrieked as the scope slipped from her tight grasp and launching into the air before safely dropping on the grounded girl's stomach. It took a second for Piper to raise her upper body, a hand immediately rubbing the lower back and bottom as a jolt of pain shot through the specified areas. “O-oooouch....” Was all she could manage, her eyes forcing themselves to shut as another holt of pain rushed through the girl's spine.

“Ma'am, do be more careful.” Rack had hovered into the room, shaking his large red visor. “It would be better if you give the man his scope back.”

A suggestion that Piper, as always, completely ignored. “Wait! I'll grab my own!” She said while perking the corners of her mouth into a wide smile. “Gimme a sec, I'll be right back!”

“Ma'am... Please reconsider this course of action.” The floating orb did its best not to let this get out of hand, it briefly recalled what happened last time Piper took something without consent. To sum it up; The guild master had not been pleased with the girl's behaviour, nor was the mechanic that she had stolen from. Of course, Pip never meant any harm, her curiosity always got the better when interesting things were worked on. This... Scope addition was no exception, and when Piper was fixated on something, she'd not let go of it as easily as she found it.

((READ THE OOC AT THE BOTTOM FIRST, then read this if you still want to know exactly what happened.)

Real Life

Nathan sat in his dark blue chair with black plastic armrests and spun around in circles multiple times until he was dizzy. "Life is interesting, no?" He said seemingly to no one. He stopped spinning and looked over to his left. Outside his window was a small blue bird that seemingly didn't mind Nathan's existence, after all humans did build upon it's territory. This apartment was as much the birds as it was Nathan's; Well, at least in Nathan's eyes.

He rolled the chair towards a desk with his Nerve Visor on it and stared at it for a bit, almost hesitating to decide if he should put it on or not. "Welllll I have some time to spare..." He cut a quick glance at his clock on his nightstand next to his bed. He quickly looked back at the Nerve Visor and slipped it on. It had been forever since he had slipped this thing on, at least a few weeks if not a month or two.

In-Game

"Link, Start!" He said loudly obviously with the tone of excitement in his voice. Lights flickered and flustered and white lines of code passed by him as he entered the server of YggON. A server login screen appeared for a brief moment before the password section automatically filled up and logged Nathan in. He did a half-log and returned back to real life for a split moment. He reached into his pocket and felt for an SD Card. He pulled the SD Card out and forcefully shoved it into the Storage for the Nerve Visor. He resumed to playing and he was in an all too familiar city, Hexion City. "What the fuck? I don't remember logging out here?" He moved his hand in a downwards movement causing the HUD to pop up. He looked at the add-on's he gave himself. "Gore-Mod is working properly...Self-Time check script is on...well that seems to be the main two. He took in his surroundings and realized he spawned behind an old abandoned restaurant, perhaps something WAS here when he originally logged out? No matter he had to get out of here and fast. Last time he remembered logging out he was in D0PPLE G4NGER Territory, in translation not the best place to be if you don't want to get player killed.

He checked multiple paths and took the one which was seemingly the best. He slid through and alleyway and made it onto the main road. He looked up and many new buildings he hadn't seen before were now here making it impossible to find the building he was looking for. He wouldn't dare use magic here as people would realize who he really was, and that was besides the fact, only a fool would use magic in Hexion City. He grabbed the two duel daggers from his thighs and withdrew them. He enhanced the blades with magic making them far more durable and longer than usual. He directly vertical up a skyscraper and just as he began to lose momentum he stabbed the daggers into the building causing the glass to shatter and red code to fly out everywhere. He had to be quick or Helios would catch on, or even worse...Vengeance. The daggers began to lose their grip into the buildings hard metal and begin to loosen. "Shit!" He yelled out realizing how bad the idea was as he was only half way up the Skyscraper.

Nathan observed once again and found what he was looking for, a large Black Flag which blew in the wind signaling the Helios Infinium base. He twisted his body around so now he was facing the Helios building which was a good mile away. His hands had a tight grip on is two daggers. As he waited for the wind to calm down he finally did it, he jumped using the skyscraper as a sort of backwards trampoline. Nathan shot off the building with amazing speed, the black flag slowly nearing closer and closer. Then he sensed something, he was being watched...and something was aiming at hi- *PEW PEW PEW* Plasma shots rained at Nathan at speeds he couldn't even comprehend. A shot hit him right in the shoulder knocking him out the sky and sending him towards the ground in a puff of smoke. His arm bled heavily as the effects from his MoarGore mod kicked in. He approached the ground like a duck shot out the sky and on it's way to the ground. He used his teeth to rip the buckles off his arm. Suddenly chains sprouted from his arms and spine causing his chain magic to activate.

Suddenly Nathan hit the ground and a group of three men circled him, guns pointed. He lazily woke up and stood up, the men stepped closer and one of them put a gun up against Nathan's head. "Tsk...you have no idea....WHO THE FUCK YOU ARE DEALING WITH!" Nathan quickly tripped the man that had the gun pointed to his head. Before the man hit the ground however Nathan grabbed him and used him as a body shield for the other two men who quickly fired to plasma bullets straight towards Nathan. The body soaked up the damage and blood oozed out his wounds. "Real bullets covered in Plasma? Damn, not a bad a idea." He chuckled as the man had not been killed yet which mean't more fun. He stomped his foot and chains quickly wrapped around the man, keeping pressure on the wounds so he wouldn't die. Nathan drank a healing potion to calm the bleeding in his shoulder and prepared for a fight. He picked his two daggers up off of the ground and rushed for the two men who had resulted to Chain Saw Blades. The first man rushed Nathan alone, easily a bad choice. Nathan side stepped his rush and stabbed him in the spine thus separating his vertebrae and paralyzing him. He threw his other dagger at the last man. Apparently he was so frozen in fear he just stood there and took the dagger to the head killing him instantly and dropping some of his loot.

Nathan walked over to the dead body and removed his dagger and searched through the loot, a few gold and crappy equipment. His chains moved the almost dead man next to the paralyzed one. Nathan personally lined each one up and stared at the wounds of each. He removed his dagger from the mans back causing blood to spurt out at least three feet onto the pavement. "Kukukuku....." He laughed as he gave each of them a health potion, healing them to almost full health. "So....who sent you?" He questioned, not really expecting an answer. Complete silence is what Nathan was given, definitely the wrong answer. He walked over to the paralyzed man and stabbed him in the shoulder and wriggled the blade around so it would do more damage. "HOW DOES IT FEEL? TELL ME HOW DOES IT FREAKING FEEL?!" He kicked the man in the face causing him to fall over backwards. He leaned in and spit on his face, thus claiming his dominance over him. "WELL? STILL NO ANSWER?" He sat down on the paralyzed man's stomach and pinched his face cheeks "Its ok, I'll get the answers I want out of you." He pulled a small spiked chain, no longer than three inches long and half an inch thick from his pocket. He forced the man to swallow it. Nathan got off the man and walked over to the one that nearly bled out. Nathan maneuvered his fingers and the chains acted accordingly. Four chains, one for each limb wrapped around the limb of the man. Slowly they ripped the man's limbs apart, dislocating them one at a time. Nothing came out of his mouth except shrieking that was loud enough for anyone within five miles could easily hear it. This torture continued for minutes until the man died and nothing of use dropped.

He then finally turned to his last target, the paralyzed man who had swallowed the chain. Something was off though, this man should be in immense pain as the chain would have ruptured at least his stomach lining by now, but what was wrong? Nathan investigated the scene to realize that he regurgitated the chain onto the floor and into a nearby storm drain. Nathan, extremely annoyed by this mans will to escape removed the dagger from his shoulder and began to vigorously choke him in an attempt to get him to speak. Finally he spoke; "Stoppppp! I'll speak....Helios...Helios set us up...to do this." This made Nathan's head turn, Helios? But why? Was his time working with them up and they wanted to tie the lose ends? Impossible, Helios very well knows that Nathan could take out more than half their army alone under the right conditions. He stopped choking the man and opened his and towards the mans' head, he hadn't noticed it before but all of them were wearing helmets, but why? He began to lift the man's mask off when he heard a low pitched constant beeping coming from within the man's body. Suddenly an explosion sent Nate flying into the air, luckily at the last second chains from all over his body covered him and protected him from the blast, most of his chains however were destroyed. He walked over to the Helios Infinium base, it was amazing to say the least. It was one of the few buildings that had illusions blocking the view of the flag, it was a cute attempt but Nate easily saw through it. He pressed on through the illusion and made his way up towards a gate that was seemingly unguarded, he knew however that wasn't true. He holstered his daggers and returned what little remaining chains he had left into his arms and back. He knew somewhere there were snipers that were a little too trigger happy for their own good.

He slammed his hand on a scanner causing a red"Error" sign to appear. "Hm, removed me huh?" He chuckled and pressed a black button and held it down. He then spoke. "It is I, the White Reaper. I have come looking for work and well... rumor has it that you guys attempted to assassinate me with three shitty soldiers that weren't even worth torturing, oh and if you heard screaming...well that was me ripping one of their limbs apart VERY slowly. Now let me in or your next." He released the pressure on the black button and backed away, hoping for a response. In the mean time he kept a look out for snipers and tried to get a count on how many there were and where they were.

[Oh...and YAAY FOR MY LONGER POST EVER, around 1800 words. Excuse me for the mass OOC; but I believe this is needed. TL;DR: Nate introduces chain magic, he was on his way to HIQ (Helios Infinium Head Quarters) But was intercepted by three assassins, Nathan killed all three but not before torturing two. One said HIQ recruited them do to assassinate him. Nathan heads over to HIQ and I guess I'm going to wait on CODE TO POST FOR HIQ]
