Weapons: In a nutshell, Weapon-Type characters are humans who are born with the bizarre ability to transform into a weapon or other item of power. This can be anything from swords, guns, knives, axes, spears.... or even just a flute with the ability to create sonic disturbances when played. The sky is the limit when deciding on what your character can turn into. But with a few exceptions... One character may only turn into one weapon. Meaning that a single person may not turn into a set of two gauntlets, two guns, two swords, etc. If you really really want to have a character with a double weapon form like that, then you have to PM a mod and we'll discuss until we can come up a reasonable solution that won't turn the SE Universe on its ear.

Weapon-Type characters also have the ability to enter "Hybrid State", meaning that certain aspects of their Weapon Form can appear in their human form. Soul Eater Evans, for example, can turn his arm into a blade to attack with. However, a Hybrid Form is always much weaker than their complete Weapon Form. A weapon, after all, is meant to be wielded, so it'll be impossible for them to access 100% of their power and abilities through their Hybrid Form.

Weapons and Meisters team up at Shibusen to battle Kishin Eggs (Corrupted Humans) and Witches, and they gain power by absorbing the Souls of the foes they defeat. Or the Weapons do, anyway. In order to become a Death Scythe, and thus usable by the Grim Reaper himself, a Weapon must first absorb the souls of 99 Kishin Eggs and then 1 Witch's Soul. IN THAT ORDER. If you absorb a Witch's soul without first absorbing the souls of 99 Kishin Eggs, then you're souls will be confiscated and you'll have to start over.

Meisters: Meisters (also known as Technicians and Smiths) team up with their Weapon partners to do battle. And while they may be powerful on their own, their powers are magnified when wielding a true Weapon.

Meisters tend to be ranked with stars. The basic Shibusen student starts out with One Star. They possess some degree of skill, but their powers aren't amazing or unheard of before. As they complete missions and train, their star ranking may then increase, and they'll unlock hidden potential that was previously hidden from them.

For the most part, Meisters tend to have one of two primary abilities. The first is the ability to sense and see the souls of others and discern their power levels. This is called Soul Perception. This is a handy ability that allows the Meister to know exactly how strong their opponent, and even get a brief flash of insight into who their opponent is as a person on the deepest of levels. Of course, that only comes after a lot of training and such. And in addition to all of that, Soul Perception can also be used to block and/or negate an opponent's soul-based attack such as Soul Purge. This is done by viewing the frequency of the target's soul wavelength and then harmonizing your own soul wavelength with it so that they both match (more or less).

Their second ability is to utilize their Soul Wavelength as a form to attack. This is technique can have many names, but the most common is Soul Purge. This is usually done by channeling the energy from a Soul Wavelength into a limb and then striking with it, thereby greatly increasing the power behind it and adding some interesting effects that can be unlocked later. Of course, this is still nothing compared to when a Weapon is in your hands and your Soul Wavelength is magnified because of it. Not everyone can use this skill, but with enough time and effort it can be a truly effective tool.

Note: Different levels of Meister's will have a different ammount of abilities. Rank 1 Meisters (All people in the roleplay at this moment) are able to choose from two abilities. Once you reach Rank 2 Meisters can choose from three and Rank 3 Meisters can choose four. Weapons automatically get three abilities.

~Wavelength Abilities~



Name: Soul Perception
Type: Wavelength
Range: Short
Description: A technique used by Meisters. This ability grants the user to see into others soul, literally. The soul generally appears as a fluorescent bauble, sporting a unique physical characteristic of the person

Name: Double Wavelength Meister [D.W.M]
Type: Wavelength
Range: No Range
Description: An incredibly unique ability, this allows the Meister to wield two Weapons simultaneously.
Must seek mod approval. Weapons cannot be large.

Name: Soul Authority
Type: Wavelength
Range: Short
Description: By resonating with one's own soul the user can drive their own soul wavelength directly into an opponent's body through a physical strike on them. This can cause strong direct and internal damage, it is even capable of damaging someone who is being protected by black blood.

Name: Soulthread Stitches
Type: Wavelength
Range: Short
Description: Soulthread Stitches works by attacking an individual with your own soul wavelength and having both the weapon and meister concentrate on the soul wavelength residue that is still inside of the enemy causing the residue soul wavelength to attach it's self through the skin to a surface leaving them open for an attack.
Must know Soul Authority.


Name: Soul Recovery
Type: Wavelength
Range: Short, Needs to be able to touch person/weapon
Description: Basically a reverse of Soul Authority, this works as a mending ability. The user sends their soul wave into the body/weapon of someone, and heals their internal injuries. For external injuries, you have to send your wavelength through the actual wound (You have to touch the wound). This causes the healing process to speed up, and the more compatible the wave lengths, the stronger and faster it will heal.
Can't learn if you have or will have Soul Authority/Soulthread Stiches.



~Resonance Abilities~


Name: Witch Hunter
Type: Resonance
Range: Long
Description: The move turns the head of the scythe into a crescent moon shape. Normally the Witch Hunt is used to send a single wave attack along the ground towards the enemy but the move can have variations of the user choice.
User Must have a Scythe as a Weapon.

Name: Death Cannon
Type: Resonance
Range: Long
Description: The move charges the users wavelength and changes their weapon from a simple firearm, to a cannon that envelopes their arm(s). After a countdown, the user fires a huge ball of energy at his opponent from the cannon which explodes when it reaches the target and leaves nothing but a plume of skull shaped smoke.
User Must have a Projectile as a weapon.

Name: Shadow Star
Type: Resonance
Range: No Range
Description: A meister and a weapon manipulate their shadows and use them to repeatedly attack the enemy. Though incredibly potent as a Resonance technique, it slowly kills the user with repeated use.
Must have a Sword or Dagger as a Weapon.

Name: Experimental Spirit Body
Type: Resonance
Range: No Range
Description: The user manipulates his or her wavelength to creates a large marshmallow like spirit body which expands to around 5 times the users size and temporarily protects him from all incoming attacks.

Type: Resonance
Range: Long
Description: An improved form of the original Witch Hunter. It's power has been exponentially increased. It is said that the technique is strong enough to kill an immortal.

~Physical Abilities~


Name: Infintie One-Sword Style
Type: Physical
Range: All Ranges
Description: A sword style that favours quantity over quality, Infinite One-Sword makes use of hundreds of Katan scattered all over the field, utilizing them in a variety of ways for attack or defense.
Must own more than 10 Swords.

Name: Three Path Shot
Type: Physical
Range: Medium
Description: A technique based on the Infinite One-Sword Style. The user grabs onto three of his swords and throws them onto the ground creating a path. Then running along these swords the user grabs onto a fourth one and uses it to directly attack the opponent.
