This seems very interesting, and I may be interested in joining. However, before I do so, I should ask what sort of reference images you wanted applicants to use in bios. I usually use anime since it's just so damn easy to find, but video game CG or realistic original art shouldn't be a problem. It's just that I'd rather not have to deal with finding pictures of real people.

I have to ask, will this have a central plot or setting? These sandbox role-play's are often very tempting but in my experience characters often end up unbalanced and uncoordinated. For example, say we have a pirate lord, a boss of an intergalactic mega corp and a journalist for a news program? A fine story may indeed be written about the adventures of these three characters, but something has to bring them together; otherwise they have no reason to associate with one another.

I am honestly not trying to criticize you, I really like role-playing SF but I can't deny the feeling that I have been down this road before. A ship needs a sea to sail on, but give it too large an ocean and it will eventually get lost.

I am intending to drop seeds to help direct players to direct the plots of their own characters. For example, Ark appearing in organic controlled sectors may go unnoticed for a while, but then cause a major incident which could draw several characters in nearby systems to become involved with one another. While physical goods cannot travel instantaneously, information can, and that can start many a wheels a rollin.

My planned character may also have a distinctive sub-plot of her own, and may draw in some other characters to pursue her, similarly to how Ark's sudden appearance might cause an incident. Pants, for one thing, will likely be cooperating with me to help get said sub plot moving.

Speaking of her, Astraea's bio is almost done. I've finished the specifications of her ship and most of her own information. I just need to finish writing up her Personality and Backstory.

Update: I've been working on writing some bios for other stuff recently, and also on coordinating the start of our subplot with Pants and Templar. We'll be kicking our intros off shortly, so please just give us a little bit. :3 We are still here, and still planning on posting, so no worries.

Is anyone else having issues with linking images to character sheets, because my attempts with Davin's profile are not going well. I do what I can to link the image and it usually only ends with a blank square on the screen or the underlined "image" tab on the page.

The site you're using to host images may be at fault. I recommend Postimage and Free Image Hosting/imgur.

Hey everyone! I recently contacted Brat, and he said that he will be without internet for some time. I am also at a point where I don't quite have enough to change the galactic stage at the moment, so feel free to make another round of posts, and I will set up the next big event after that.

Alright, for our next post, we should probably just collaborate so as to get everything from Kaiden, Astraea, and Rinshar resolved in one fell swoop. I'll be available most evenings from here on out, as well as all day on saturday and most of the afternoon on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. What times are you guys free?
