http://www.roleplaygateway.com/yun-tal-legacy-t39454.htmlA few years after the war that would send the world into it's post apoctalyptic state, humans started to rebuild. Buildings, war machines, everything came back into place. But more than one style of creature started to appear, most of which are humanoids. The Sa'larin, a dragon like humanoid creature, one of their physical apperances is full dragon, the rest is human. Their strength, speed, and power, is all superhuman. The Hunthel, a race of effectively werewolves, but they have no human form. So bipedial 8 ft tall wolves.... The Anithari, same thing with the wolves, but with cats, like tigers and whatnot. And last but not least, the Virino, they are a race of what would be considered crazed elves....But they have more of an evil appearance. They have the most advanced technology, and are the most straightforward about things. The Sa'larin usually hold positions of political power, using their knowledge to their advantage. The Hunthel are usually known for their strength and wisdom, the Anithari, their swiftness. The Virnio...well...their technology...duh.
On top of the Virnio....there is a sickness going around, breathed in through the air, its like the sickness from 28 days later, a rage virus, but in a gasious state, it looks a very faint sickly green, so lots of people wear masks to protect them from the sickness. The characters you play were born with the one special gene that protects you, its the one single antivirus that can get rid of the sickness. So, for a quick recap, you have so far two enemies....the Virnio, and this sickness. But there is one more as well, the government. They want to capture you, to figure out what makes you tick, figure out why you were born with the gene that won't get you sick while the rest of the world is slowly being consumed. Now...for my character post, ohh, we will meet up at a ruins after the first post. Most of you would probably know Vulic, being a blacksmith and all....Our first post describes what we will do, but make sure to end up at the ruins, but not in the same spot! remember, they are ruins, they are big!
Vulic is working on a sword, in the back of his shop. A commision job, so he works harder than making his standard equipment. Shaking the sweat off of his fur like a dog would comming out of water before he continues to pound the metal with his hammer. The hammer being slightly larger than a human's blacksmith hammer, considering that he is bigger. This hunthel is slightly bigger than most. Being a wolf hunthel had it's ups and downs, large and intimidating, but for the most part more strength than speed. He continues to pound down on the sword, pounding, the metal ringing loudly in his ears as he falls into a trance, a trance that lets him work. Staring into the heated metal, waiting for it to tell him how to shape the sword. It clicks in his head as he continues to make the sword, stopping the pounding for a few minutes. He then pounds it again and again, then all of a sudden stops, lifting it up he puts it into the water bucket next to the furnace he was using to keep the metal hot. Putting the now semi hot blade into the water, he pulls it out, looking at the shape of the blade he sets it down. Then, pulling out a special handle, he put the handle on and screws it in tight. Then, walking out to the front of the blacksmith shop to see a government official standing there, an Anithari standing there, panther type. Speed being it's main focus, avoidance would be hard, very hard. The Anithari's voice smooth, and yet cruel and harsh."I need to speak to you Vulic." "Bout' what?" "About you of course, the government would love to bring you in, see what makes you so.....special." "Special? what do you mean by that?" "You know exactly what I am talking about you stupid wolf!" Suddenly, the creature springs into action, drawing it's claws and pouncing, unfortunately for the cat....it was in the worst situation, an 8 ft tall wolf, with weapons all around him. Think what will happen. The cat, on the ground, meowing in pain loudly, it's left arm laying on the floor 10 feet to the cat's left. Bleeding."Wanna try that again your government trash?" The cat stands up and grabs his arm."You have not seen anything yet wolf! we will be back again tomorrow, and the day after that until you submit to us!" "You can try little pussy cat, but you will never win." Heading into the back of his shop as the cat leaves, grumbling. Vulic pulls out a mop and cleans up the bloody mess. Darkness rises, a full moon tonight, the man who wanted the sword will be comming in the next day, but the sword will have the enchantments that it needs to make the sword what it will be. Speaking in the wolven tongue, he puts 3 enchantments on the sword. One for hiding in the shadows, one to make the sword lightweight and balanced. And the last to make the blade always sharp. Skipping forward to the next day, he opens up shop, three men from the government walking towards his shop, standing outside the window the hold up the man who paid for the sword, dead....killed by the warriors of the government. Two Sal'arin, of higher status, break into the shop. Vulic takes the newly formed sword and runs out the back. Smirking considering that the Sal'arin are not the fastest of creatures. Vulic runs, quickly as well, for an 8 ft tall buff wolf he is damn fast. Ending up at a set of ruins, most likely forbidden to the commonfolk, due to the fact that they had Virnio writings on them. He stops because there is a barrier in the way, having lost the government officials, he jumps the bar that would hold most people back. Hiding in the ruins he wanders around, sword at the ready if anything should happen.
