From what I assume this takes place in a modern day setting, is this true?
Is there any specific religions we should consider?
Will we be following any established magical rules, or will they vary from character to character?

no specific religions, though Miss Dire herself takes after the old catholic inquisitors.
the magic rules vary from person to person, kind of.

Maestros have magic tied to art, while Acolytes are more like wizards.

Just wanted to say in advance that I can't post on weekends and sometimes Fridays.

Seeing as I may or may not have single handedly broken Dire with my glorious creation, TK.

I will offer this opportune opportunity.
If it breaths life into this dry desert of non-activity I will allow anyone to challenge and fight TK to his death. You can then use his body to lure in creatures to practice fighting as a school extracurricular activity. A training practice perhaps.

I have another, less absurd character I can use in return and maybe just maybe we can extend the life of Dire.

I think the issue is that posting is virtually useless right now unless Lord General posts with the teachers first. At least, in my case. Because I don't think it'd be relevant at all to just write a reaction to TK's... extravagant entrance and nothing else.

I do apologise for my lack of posting lately, University work has been pouring out of my ears lately. Along with the sudden failure of the university internet which lasted a couple days (been using Costa wifi to get my work done).
It's finally back up, so I should be able to post some time this week. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow.
