Also, I made the intro post. We're just waiting on two characters that shouldn't take long and I figured we could go ahead and begin. People from the past, you should enter the RP as if your character had just appeared in NYC. Make your entrance creative. ;) They'll be wearing the clothes they left their time period in, too. Also, they have been aware of new technology and such, so they shouldn't freak out at the sight of cars and stuff, unlesss... you want them to. XD

Keep in mind your posts should be over two paragraphs. I want this RP to be detailed, but I do understand its hard to keep up with pages and pages of posts from one person. :P Just... remember, quality.

I introduced an NPC to hopefully facilitate things a bit for our money-less, strangely-dressed people from the past. If nobody wants to use her, that's fine too, but I figured it couldn't hurt. If it's a major problem, let me know and I'll edit.

I love your post! I alluded to a similar NPC character in my posts, so maybe it could be like a phantom helper: appearing in unique (or even similar) ways to each individual character. like a spirit guide or something!

I think almost everyone has made reference in some way to the blond-haired guy at this point (assuming that's the NPC you're talking about); he's pretty much universal lol, so congrats on an awesome idea there. I added the old woman as someone who would be there to help people adjust; basically a plot device who knows what's going on. I think a conversation between her and the "doctor" would be interesting actually. Pretty much I just needed to get Sev into some getup that didn't make him look completely crazy without stealing someone's laundry. =)

Hmm... I was going to make the whole thing revolve around the present people kind of nurturing and helping the past ones, but if you guys have the old lady and blonde man, I dunno. XD

Actually, I'd wondered about that; I was actually going to have the entire storefront disappear as soon as everyone had some other place to live. The old lady (let's say she calls herself Violet) wasn't going to let anyone depend on her for too long, since the point of dragging them to the future in the first place was to get them involved in a new life here.

Just thinking if someone walked up to your average New Yorker and said "Hi, I'm from so many hundred years in the past and have nowhere to go. Can I crash at your place tonight?" it might not go over too well. This way, when they all meet, the "should I tell them" debate might become a source of *gasp* drama.

Just an idea though. Feel free to veto at will, Des or anyone.

Well with all of us seeming to be in the same place, but not not really interacting, I dediced to give things a little nudge. Well... I guess it was more than a nudge and more like a good, hearty push. I hope that's ok Des, please let me know if I stepped out of line or if you would like me to edit my post in anyway. But hopefully this will encourage at least a bit more character interaction.
