These errors usually occur at night (For me anyways, CST -8)

It's the coders playing around with the coding which can result in lag, maintenance mode, or the site to create a 502 error.
Usually only lasts a few minutes.
However, it can be sporadic and lengthy at times but it just means things are improving and getting better.

Remaeus has been doing a great deal of heavy maintenance to the site over this past week, so a few hiccups are to be expected. The situation is actively being looked into and should be resolved soon. In the meanwhile just try to be patient.
