I'm an X-Factor girl myself, although I do love to watch dancing but I don't really feel any connection with any of the dancers this year and some of the singers this year have such talent! I couldn't not watch their progress!
I agree with the statement to not make this jovial thread into a bashing thread. Some people prefer Strictly, some X-Factor and others neither and everyone's allowed their choice.

As you already know, I won't be watching either. The Heroes Season 4 Promo is on iTunes, and Merlin's back on.
I'd usually watch the X-Factor, but I think I preferred the Panel-Contestant format, instead of the Panel-Contestant-Live Audience one.
