Ok, I'm really new to this, not just to the site but RPing too, I've had a little experience with RPs before, but only one of them and I kinda had to drop out partway through due to some IRL stuff keeping me too busy to keep up with it. I've just stumbled across this site and thought that I'd try and get back into this stuff again :D Anyway, hopefully I'll do much better on here :) Hi everyone ^^

Most importantly are the RPG Rules. There are only five so have a look!

If you have questions regarding role-play that need answering, feel free to check out the Role-Play Academy for all of your needs! You can also find there the Library, a collection of guides and articles on everything role-play!

Any concerns you have with the site itself can be brought to the The Help Forum. Make sure to check whether or not the answer to your question has already been said before posting a new thread.

Last is the Role-Play Gateway Chat where all of the chat role-play and off topic chatter takes place. If you're having problems on working the chat, this should be of assistance: A Simple Beginner's Guide to RolePlayGateway's Chat System.

Ello to you, Dervivaire! I'm pretty new to this site myself. I wanted to welcome you, even though I see Maestro has beaten me to the punch. There's a great amount of wonderful roleplays around here. I'm just about to start one of my own. If you're up for apocalyptic-esque situations, shoot me a message, and I'll send you the link. Even if you would rather play one on one sometime, I'm up for it. I'll go for just about any idea. I kow how it is about having to drop due to real life, though, believe me. If it didn't get in the way, I'd be here all the time. Anyway, I hope you have fun on the site! It's been pretty cool, in my opinion.

Thanks for the warm welcome, it's nice to see that even the new members are saying hi to me.
And I might have to take you up on that Cer, sounds pretty interesting :)
I've been thinking of starting my own RP set in another galaxy (I got severely bored one day and spent its entirety designing an empire and many alien species), but I'm worried that I lack the experience to do so :/ Though with simply taking part in RPs, I'm open to pretty much anything too :)

Wedding was amazing :) but exhausting XD Can't believe we left at 10:30am to go to it, and got back at 1am XD
And thanks for the links :) I'm going to post it in the interest checks section in a sec :) It's still pretty much a rough idea, but hopefully people will be interested in it :)

I'm glad to see a new user already bringing in excellent Ideas, and you being new to RPing as well! I am amazed and, if from what Sko has said, you can write well-- I think I might just face desk in complete and utter joy! I hope to see you around, in the forums and chat as well, and such! I'm not just some link spammer, I swear, I'm just trying to do my part for new users and, being new to Rping as well, you might find where I plan to take thaat thread interesting!!

Thanks I shall have a look in a minute or two :) I wouldn't say I'm overly good, but I'm over imaginative and I've been writing for a long time, so hopefully my English and ideas will be up to scratch, I just might need help with the whole roleplay side of it :) (by the way, i hadn't noticed the chat xD I will have to look into it soon :D)

For example, if you want to participate in a roleplay for newbies, click here. You can use that search feature, or the tag cloud, to help narrow down the options to those within your interests. :)
