Re: Greetings?

Sorry, I was raised Irish-Catholic. No matter how pagan I might be now, I still have the guilt complex at times. (It acts up more on forums, where if I have a bad day--which is almost never--and post something rude, it will last. I've mostly gotten over apologizing constantly in real life. I am some...

Re: Greetings?

No, no, it's different enough that I know it's not from the book. It's just that the...feel, the idea is the same. The character is, um, quite the narcissist. The line I'm talking about his her...sort of self-affirmation chant. And she is quite definitely insane; she gets taken away at the end. It's...

Re: Greetings?

Ah, okay then...Excuse me if this sounds odd, but it sounds a bit similar to something an insane character was fond of saying in a book I read. ^^; Heheh...Everything relates to books or manga with me...No insult was intended, of course.

Hello...

If I might ask, where exactly did you get your signature from? You don't seem to be quoting anyone for the first part...

Re: Icons/Avatars

Ah, if no one has noticed, I've changed my avi...I found one character who would be really good as an image of Azamiko, but...I really don't care for the manga or even the character...So, I found another Tanemura one I liked. And I found the pic I mentioned, so if I can figure out how to post it, I ...

Re: Icons/Avatars

Um, sort of. Except better. This was actually an amateur theatre group that trained specifically for that type of show. Sort of like how there's Shakespeare theater troupes? Well, this was a Star Wars Universe Fights troupe...^^; Plus, we viewers were sitting on the ground watching, and there was ro...

Re: Icons/Avatars

Use the force on it?

XD Has anyone ever seen a lightsaber battle? I mean, a theater group that specifically plans out and does a lightsaber battle? I saw one at NY Comic Con...Pretty funky.

Re: Icons/Avatars

Very nice. Do you have a particular fondness for Browning, or just for that poem? I love poetry, though Browning--both Brownings aren't my favorites. The character you are talking about is Chiaki/Sinbad. Sinbad is his...um, super-heroish sort of name. ^^; I abosolutely adore him. And, hysterically e...

I'm thinking of going across the street to buy more juice...Quu...Mm....or water...The only time I really get cranky is when I'm thirsty...and it only happens in the middle of the night... Re: Icons/Avatars

That's pretty fun...I remember God of War. Never got around to playing it, though...

And I like the names Imogen and Ingrid! ^_^ Unusual names are interesting, don't you think? Well, until they go into cliches, like Mary-Sue names...<ff.net joke

Re: 666 Satan/ O-parts Hunter

There's an MSN group with chapters 1-65, and 66-70 are easy and fast to download. It really is a nice action series. I sometimes get frustrated with little faults that all action series share--except, strangely, Yoshihiro Togashi's...but he's too sick right now--but overall it's one of my top ten se...

Icons/Avatars

So, where and why did everyone get the Avis they use? Mine...I think I just looked up some mangaka, and somehow found this. It's not exactly what I want, but it'll do for now. Honestly, I can't quite remember the mangaka...I'd usually use a character from Tanemura Arina, since I like her style. But....
