Well, maybe we should vote on it? It seems that some of us want to start with a briefing, and some might not. So perhaps we should just see what is the more popular option, to save an argument.

Just my idea.

Cheers.

Thanks. Again, I don't mean to cause trouble, but I just think it will make for a better RPing experience for all.

Short briefing part: 3
Straight into the action: 1?

So I vote for a short briefing period, and some posts to let me set up properly, as opposed to a bit post in the beginning.

Cheers.

Okay Eternal, what do you say? Let the briefing begin? I don't think we need to wait for all the others...the votes sort of speak for themselves...

Alright then, brief away then. I'll be on my island...being all evil...muahahaha...

Cheers.

*raises hand* I think a debrief would be the best - gives time for chara development as well as plot development - I don't know but I have yet to see snake parachuting in brought daylight - I mean its espionage the highest of stealth infiltration ever, and since we have a dedicated bad guy I wish for him to have as much fun as we have, hence he shouldn't be cornered already because that be plainly just dumb. I think the structure should have been thought through a little better than this - maybe start the RP IC from scratch and this time implement the mentioned things... i.e debriefing - the day before the mission start up - meeting "your VR trainees" etc...you get the idea.

Well, we don't need to start a new IC thread, I think that my post is a good start. Maybe Eternal could post about receiving word, and that the SEALs are being scrambled: if they fail (which they will), then FOXHOUND is to go in. I can post about my deployment, then you all post some intros. I'll post about the SEAL team, then you guys finish the briefing, and begin the attack.

But I agree that there was some miscommunication, but that's okay: we got it all figured out, it's no one's fault.

Cheers.

Alright, in response to Eternal's post, I have posted again, with the deployment info. My forces are ready to go, and once you all meet up for the briefing, I will post again. After that, I won't be posting until you all get onto the island, or at least near it.

Cheers.

FOXHOUND Personell Log, 2657:

Real name: Frank Dubbon

Code name: Gear Driller

Current Status: MIA (Defected to The Rough Riders)

Weapon:

Metal Gear Interface Exoskeleton (MGIE):

An exoskeleton that links directly to a Metal Gear cockpit for advanced piloting ability and awareness. Using an experimental interface it's performance increases depending on the current wearers emotions. When happy, angry or psyched the suit and Metal Gear greatly increase in maneuverability, speed and destructive ability. Sadness, fear or embarrassment have an opposite effect.

The suit has been modified to carry two high power weapons and assisted jump rockets located on the back of the legs. Is by no means slow the, MGIE increases the physical ability of the wearer.

MGIE Drill:

A metal frame that covers the users left arm and plugs into the MGIE. At the end of the frame is a large; 1m 50cm long, 40cm wide, drill with four serrated edges going the sides. Folds and compacts into a small box over the right side of the shoulder.

MGIE Cannon:

Over the right shoulder is a compact two shot rocket launcher. Also folds up into a small box on the back.

When not wearing the MGIE he carries a XM8 Carbine.

Field Expertise: Metal Gear Pilot, Mechanical Genius, Close Range Specialist.

Supernatural Ability: Split second reaction time, uncanny dodging and maneuverability. (Is effected by emotion with or without the suit)

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Short dark brown hair, blue eyes, a small chin patch goatee, athletic build.

Normal: A white tank top and khaki cargo pants. Dark blue overalls if was just working on the MGIE or Metal Gear.

Wearing MGIE: A blue-grey exoskeleton with several plug ports over the body that link into the Metal Gear and the MGIE weapons systems. Wears a helmet with a visor that slides down over the left side of the face. This visor has night, thermal and sonar which are used through three red dot eyes. (Think Raiden’s helmet in MGS4 then take the right side of the visor off)

Bio: Joined FOXHOUND as a potential pilot for the new Metal Gear. Was short listed for the final training but ultimately denied due to emotional instability, despite being the most proficient pilot. As piloting a mech was his dream since he was a child he quit to follow Genesis One and join the "Rough Riders". This path would more likely lead to his life's ambition. Is an Anime and Video Game fan who mostly likes Mecha, J-RPG, Stealth, Shooting Games and Ape Escape. Is a great admirer of women but is nervous and easily embarrassed by them. Is usually mild mannered but easily annoyed.

O my, I see this shaping up to rather epic proportions - or maybe it's the fact that I love the MGS series and i want this RP not to fall short of the action. Walrus I see you have a female sniper specialist in your ranks - *insert evil laugh here* I can not wait to go eye to eye, better yet rifle to rifle with her, which reminds me of that incident in MGS1 - Solid snake vs Sniper Wolf.

I'm wondering, if we do split into groups, do you want to chose eternal, or should we just chose our own teammate.
