Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (ODST)

Year is 2022 a secret division of the Marine Corps has been created on board the space ship known as Artemis. This ship was originally built as a transportation craft for tourist to Mars however after the collapse of the Mars Colony, known as June, all tours were canceled. Now the Artemis is home of the most elite soldiers this world as to offer the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers or ODST for short as part of the United States Marine Corps. Some of the Technology they have is superior to the other branches, which is why they are being kept secret. For example the power armor they were is not only bullet proof but enhances they abilities, such as speed and strength, but depending on now far synchronized they are with the power armor it can also enhance their agility and accuracy.

Two years later, conflict in the Middle East escalates into a full-scale war as American troops try to force a new terrorist group into submission, however this is easier said then done. This new group revels that they have superior technology to them and the war rages uncontrollably. Because of this, the ODST have been put on standby and are awaiting their attack order. We not follow a group of these ODST’s as they prepare for their first live combat mission…

ATTENTION: this is not a Halo RP only based in this there is no UNSC only the US Military in here with the USMC and USSC or United States Space Corp which is what this ODST is part of. It is a division of the USMC more or less!!

For this I'd like for the character sheets to be filled out. but first their are two factions the ODST and the Terrorist you can choose one of this also their are different class you can be as well for example: Infantry, sniper, demolition, etc.

Background: Jack served in the USMC for nearly half of his life, enlisting when he was 18, right out of high school. His service record is nothing extraordinary, but he has survived and seen enough to have made him a candidate for the elite ODST program. Many people have died around him, making him somewhat immune to death. However, he still protects his squad mates at every opportunity he gets. His weapons are the silenced SMG and silenced pistol, as seen in his picture. His preferred style of combat is to avoid detection and eliminate his enemy, and he will do this in one of two ways: with a distraction or without one. No matter what the occurrence is, he will use his freerunning skills to accomplish his goal. However, in his suit, his abilities are incredibly diminished, limiting him to more simple technique such as roof hopping and quick ledge mounts.

Background: After graduating from College, Lance signed up for the Marine Corps, eventually going on to specialise as a sapper. Trained at the Demolition School, Camp Pendleton, Lance is not just proficient in explosives, he is also called up to assist in bridge-building, minefield clearance, field defence systems, water purification as well as road and airfield construction and repair.

Excelling as a jack-of-all-trades made him suitable as an ODST. Preferring close quarters combat; Lance likes to get up close and personal wielding a shotgun, and hurling grenades. When not in direct combat he is otherwise rigging bombs to blow up enemy bases and infrastructure.

Appearance:

Gender: Male

Background: At the age of 17 Johnny took the ASVAB to join the USMC, however his scores were so high his recruiter told him about the ODST and requested him to join. Two years after joining the ODST he was put in command of his only squad as well as promoted to Captain, however this didn't last long. In the middle of a training exercise one of his troopers had a nerves break down due to the new power armor they were given. Because of this Johnny was forced to shoot his own trooper and stripped of his rank for it. two years after that he was given a second chance and promoted to Captain again, this time he proved himself more then worthy. One year later he was promoted to Colonel and is now in charge of Alpha Company as a whole...

Name: Derek Higgins

Age: 26

Class: ODST Field Medic

Rank: Corporal

Appearance: He has the standard lean body of any UNSC soldier, but his face is where he differs. He has a long face, lopsided nose due to fights in the barracks, and thin, wispy eyebrows. His hair, though shaved, is a charcoal black, providing a striking contrast with his eyes, which are shockingly blue, piercing through his tanned face.
His armor is standard black issue, with splotches of camouflage adorning the chest plate and thighs.

Gender: Male

Background: Higgins barely survived basic training alive because of his quick temper and stubbornness. He was labelled as an early dropout when he first went to basic, but surprised his superiors by sticking with it and becoming a medic in the Marine Corps. He cut his teeth in combat with a terrorist cell, proving himself an adept medic and a talented soldier, despite his hot blooded nature and less than exemplary leadership skills. He was picked out for the ODST program because of an incident involving a fight-or-flight situation, where Higgins kept his commanding officer alive for four hours after the officer sustained a shoulder and chest wound. While providing support for the other members of his squad, Higgins used various objects around him to stabilize the officer and make sure he got home. Because of his late selection, he’s a relatively new member of the ODST Program.

So confused... ODST's, with power armor??? You realize that one of the major points of Halo 3: ODST was that you were playing a regular human, with no enhanced capabilities, as opposed to a Spartan, right?

first off NO ONE FULLY READ IT Halo ODST takes place in 2557 This RP takes place in 2022 FIVE HUNDRED YEARS BEFORE!!!! in this RP their is NO UNSC. Plus the Power armor is more like a prototype Spartan Armor just without the Cybernetic enhancements. ALSO this is not a Halo Based RP other wise i would have labeled it HALO!! duh... >.>

Appearance: He is built the same as any other ODST, except for his memory. All he could remember was that he had lost his memory on a vacation in an expensive private jet, after it had crash landed, and he was the only survivor. From that day forward, he wanted to be a pilot. He showed exceptional skill at flying aircraft for being only 15. He followed orders to the letter, and was a great listener since he didn't have a lot to talk about. He joined the air force at 19, and rose through the ranks until he became an ODST pilot at 24 years of age. He hasn't been able to remember much before the crash, and he keeps to himself most of the time.
