1. Because we actually have literate people, unlike the mentally incapable at Gaia Online.

1. All of our RP's don't involve Vampire vs Werewolf Slave RP's (Though a large number do remember, we don't have one every other topic
2. The Mods here actually care about your RP's and kick the dumbass illiterates that enter your RP uninvited out.
3. You never have to worry about the stupid accounts that post porn in your topic because they think that its cute to piss people off.
4. And number 4, we have chat.

2.- Our site isn't full of cruddy cartoons to attract 11 year old children.
3.- Items? What the crap?
4.- Gateway sounds sexier than Gaia.
5.- They are greedy little munchkins. Just bloody look. And horrible ones at that.
6.- Gaia has a section for cancer-inducing-school-roleplays. 'Nuff said.
*Guilty of actually searching through Gaia for a bit to get all this info*

Can one really be to oblivious to the straight out and obvious?
1.) RoleplayGateway is a group of writers who enjoy and devote what could be a lot of time and thought into what they do - Gaia is nowhere near literate.
2.) Instead of using graphics of odd misshaped cartoons and other calamities, RoleplayGateway uses their mind and time to attract a more, intelligent, mature audience instead of the ways of the Gaia-Gods, that of which whom wish to attract children like a pedophile.
3.)Here in RoleplayGateway people are allowed to let their imaginations run wild in a more competitive environment rather then a group of people who find it impossible to type a single word correctly. (LOL CHT SPEAK!)
I highly doubt it is needed to shed any more reasons on the subjectdue to gaia being a COMPLETELY different website, a COMPLETELY different idea in mind in creation, and those who call RoleplayGateway their home not being a bunch of egotistical children who can't spell. (Though most here are egotistical, to an extent.)

3. 'Cause we don't have to deal with stupid gold, auction wars, avatar items, and all that crap. Honestly, it taints once-literate souls with greed and encourages spam for gold.
4. We're a somewhat slower moving forum, yes, and perhaps not as eventful, but that just prevents addiction and ensures that we can all get on with our actual lives.

1 Role play Gateway doesn't use overly frilly design tactics to attract young ignorant people to their over hyped site.
2 Role play Gateway has moderators who actually moderate things, and don't just do their job when something truly outrageous which could hurt their bottom line happens.
3 Role play Gateway doesn't have items, avatars, auctions, mini-games, or other such superficial nonsense which distracts from the true purpose of the social gathering.
4 Role play Gateway doesn't ask for money, in any form, in order to provide it's patrons with 'items' which do nothing more than make you avatar look cluttered and ugly no matter how expensive the item was.
5 Role play Gateway has an easily maneuverable forums system though which one can find their desired thread topic, without having to invest long hours or resort to the assistance of a search engine.
6 Role play Gateway does not send you annoy advertisement emails, telling you all about their latest and greatest way to clutter up you creepy giant head troll doll avatar.
7 Role play Gateway attempts to maintain some manner of intelligence among its patrons, where as Gaiaonline only cares that they meet the requirement of having no life, or having a lot of spare cash to give them.
8 Role play Gateway is not populated by immature children only interested in self gratification and making themselves look like the most awesome thing since sliced bread.
9 Role play Gateway has people who understand the purpose of comparing things to sliced bread.
10 Role play Gateway is not Gaiaonline, and therefore does not attempt to overwhelm you with pointless 'character' run thrift shops that serve no purpose other than to absorb your 'gold' and thus provide you with a reason to spend even more time on their site.
11 Role play Gateway has never attempted to sucker its patrons into spending their time and money on a MMORPG, all of which suffer from the notable short coming of an inability to advance time without buying new expansions.
