Introduction
I, Dr. Owl, invite you to my abode this Tuesday night, 8 PM. At the end of Cross Bar Lane, I reside in Number Nineteen. You will recognize it by it's tilting charisma. Do consider this invitation and arrive promptly. Missing this opportunity will only end in regret for you in your later years, I assure you.
Hope you are in good health,
Dr. Owl
Dr. Owl scribed the seven letters under the watchful gaze of his assistant, refusing bright light to guide his eyes. His ink and pen kept up with his fierce movements if only barely. When he had finished, and sealed the letters in their respective envelopes, he handed his assistant the bundle. Her curious fingers gripped the edges, but Dr. Owl didn't relinquish them just yet, analyzing her.
"Don't read them. Don't waste the time. Make sure these reach the correct addresses. Hurry."
She did, dashing out into the night.
Dr. Owl slumped, glaring to the mess of a house he owned; dishes here, papers there, chalkboard half erased of its equations. He stole away, avoiding the towers of books leaning slightly to the left, just like the house. Leaning slightly to the left.
He made his way to the attic, not switching on a light. Here the room was unlike the rest of the house. Dustless, dishless, bookless. Dr. Owl stood in the center of the shadowed room, the only light a small circular window in the far wall. Eight frames hung on the walls around him.
"Soon," he muttered, pushing down frustration. "Soon."

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 12 authors
She was soon met by a two faeries, both men and looking rather menacing with their sharp spears. She didn't let fear show, simply looking between the both of them and laughing like they were old friends. A look of confusion passed over their faces, but the mask of no emotion was soon back and they moved forward to grab her.
"Now come on, boys. No need to be rude. We're just in a bit of a predicament, eh?" Alex said, raising an eyebrow. She still used that ridiculous accent, not letting it slip in the least. They seemed to believe it, looking at each other, before they seemed to remember the three other people they had just met and decided not to take any chances. They rushed forward and grabbed her by her arms, literally dragging her until she stood on the edge of the blue pool. She could see her reflection in the mirror, before turning to face the men, who she realized were a lot taller.
"We can work this out, can't we? No need to be inhuman about it." She said, her last hope to save herself from being shoved into the pool. But she still found herself being prodded at with the spear, and she took a step back before realizing there was no ground to step on to. She fell, the image of the golden men leaving her view as her back suddenly connected roughly with a dirt ground. She cursed quietly, managing to catch her breath again before she got to her feet again. She heard only the end of the conversation between Wincher, and a man and female faerie. A confused expression crossed her face as she realized the man knew Rory's face.
"Well, sorry to interrupt the talk show, but do you mind finishing up the chit chat and deciding how to get us all out of here?" Alex said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. Not like she cared at this point. Being pushed into a pool by two faeries does that to you, apparently.
He left the thicket and came face to face with two ugly fellows. They and Alex were already disagreeing, so they didnt give Ryan much chance to state his case before they tossed him into the hole behind her like a laundry bag. He face-planted next to Alex. "God dammit..." He growled as he pulled himself together.
The rest of the group was at the bars talking with a human and a faerie. Where had they come from? The human was giving Rory the stare of ages. Something odd was going on here. But of course, it was Glendock. Something odd was always going on here. He stepped in between Rory and Alex as the latter mouthed off to the ones on the other side of the bar. So outspoken. Sometimes you gotta know when to shut it.
Ryan chose to ignore Alex and stepped closer to the bar. "Where do you know her from?" A simple question. Somehow he knew the answer wasnt going to be too pleasing. He gave a respectful, but impatient look to him. Ryan was really not in the mood to be in a jail right now. Especially with that short fuse Rory had for a brother.
Anna growled out loud and managed to snag Aiden and Toriko before they too were caught by the faerie men. After hiding a bit in the brush and the blonde telling the two earth kids to keep down and quiet, they managed to be patient long enough that the men left.
"They control where the pool will take you, if they're the ones putting you in," Anna explained quickly. "The rest are probably locked up or in the Queen's court. Not sure where we'll end up...keep the accents going though," she added, taking up the accent herself. She adjusted the daggers on her side, then looked to the kids. They had no weapons.
"Here," she offered them each a small dagger. "Hide it and only use it if necessary. You may have to kill. Don't be afraid to do so. Faeries have long since despised humans and nowadays we're targets just as any wild beast."
They neared the pool and Anna instructed them to hold hands, which they did. On the count of three, they fell into the blue depths, dread boiling in their guts. But they arrived safety on solid ground, out of sight. Voices were heard around a dirt mounded corridor and Anna motioned for them to follow her into an empty room. She peered about the halls until figures were seen and she determined they were in the royalty chambers.
"We'll need to find the dungeons," she told the other two in hushed voices. "That's where the others will be. If they're not already dead."
Wincher
Two more voices joined and Wincher rolled his eyes dramatically at the sight of Alex and Ryan. Wasn't Ryan supposed to be the leader? How could he end up behind bars like this? Thankfully, it seemed Anna and the other two had managed not to muck up the situation fully. Perhaps they could aid in an escape.
Ryan did pose a good question however and Wincher's respect for him returned, even if just slightly. He too eyed the black haired, bespectacled boy. "Yes, where do you know her?"
The boy started, a bit fidgety now, resolve weakening. Strange...But he cleared his throat as Eva placed an encouraging hand on his shoulder. "We met at another time. It seems...it seems you all did not remember. Or perhaps...well...perhaps it has not happened as of yet."
He peered around the rest of the group. "I've met you all before."
"Yes, but who are you?" Wincher questioned, shoving his hands in his pockets since there was nothing to be done as far as escaping the enchanted bars keeping them all in their cells.
"Who I am matters not. I'll be escaping with Eva soon."
"Again, I have to say that that just isn't fair..."
"You never said it wasn't fair. You just whined about how we weren't helping you. But as I said before..."
"Yes, yes, blah two people blah inconvenient blah de blah...If you're so clever to outsmart faerie enchantments, you can't simply release us as well? We can fend for ourselves afterwards. Just let us out."
The black haired boy paused, eyes flitting to Rory's for a long moment yet again. Wincher glanced between them, confused by Rory's silence. Was she simply confused? In shock? But then the boy said, "How do I know I can trust you?"
"We're trusting you, aren't we? And you won't even tell us your name."
"You're not trusting me. You're using me so that you may survive. And I haven't agreed to do anything just yet."
"You're a difficult one."
"It's been said."
He could only assume it was because of his insane side that he wasn't really scared or anything, just.... confused, which is to be expected from joining the game late, it appeared. Well, it couldn't be helped it seemed and any input by him would just disrupt Wincher's persuasion, though he did have to raise his eyebrow for just a second when the man mentioned seeing them all before. It dropped as soon as he realized it might've just been everyone except him, and now he was feeling a bit left out. Woe for him.
Since he and Hayley share a cell at the moment, he figured she would be his best bet in deciphering the situation....hopefully. He looked at her and smiled, just because that's what he does and spoke softly so as not to disrupt the two men speaking. "Hey.... I'm a bit lost here.... Who's that man and where do you guys know him from? Should I be worried?" he asked, a bit too calm for wondering if he was going to live or not, but then again, he wasn't normal.
"How can you do that?" She questioned, her anger already rising. She really needed to work on that. She felt like she was yelling a lot. She had been silent for too long, and just simply listen to the man ramble on.
The way he was casting glances towards her, Rory knew that this man wasn't lying when he said he met her before. The way his eyes glinted with recognition every time their eyes met, it sent chills down her arms. He was handsome, and Rory couldn't help but blush, as if there was something between them. Even though she hadn't met them yet.
She pushed all of those thoughts out of her mind. She had to get this guy to help her.
"How can you just leave us here?" She questioned. "If you leave us here...we'll never officially meet. You'll leave this place without remembering who I am. We'll all probably die here, and you're just going to leave us?"
She stepped closer to the bars, wishing they weren't blocking her way. "You'll never give me the chance to actually meet you?"
"Yeah!" he exclaimed, agreeing with Rory. Squeezing her shoulder encouragingly, he smiled, continuing. "If you let us die, you will never meet in whatever messed up time traveling affairs you both embark on."
The young man rolled his eyes behind his glasses. "Or perhaps I'm not supposed to do a thing and you don't die."
"So you believe in coincidences?"
Startled and astounded, the young man ruffled his black hair. "Coincidence doesnt exist."
Wincher grinned impishly. "Precisely."
The two faced off a long moment, both pressing their will power to the limit to keep unblinking eye contact. Minutes were passing them by and soon the unnamed young man grumbled terribly. "Fine."
He quickly extracted a cylinder object, like a piece of chalk, and began drawing lines in the enchanted wooden bars of his cell. The lines burned straight through with crackling magic and he hurried to the next cell to release Zach and Hayley. Wincher watched curiously, expression growing more and more horrified.p by the second. Rory noticed, but he couldnt explain his realiation to her.
Soon they were all free while Eva was whimpering, "We're minutes behind. We wont have enough time to...?
On cue, gold-skinned faerie guards appeared on their patrol, foreign curses flying into the air. "Fugitives!"
An alarm must have gone off somehwere because more joined, enough to restrain them all. Wincher didnt fight, ghostly eyes watching the bespectacled young man as they were wrangled into enchanted handcuffs of thorned vines and into a single file line. Similarly, the young man remained passive to the actions. Their eyes met and a sinister truth hung in the air between them. Death was on their souls, yes, but there was more than that.
As they were led out, Wincher leaned forward to whisper to Rory but suffered a blow to the head and fell to blackness before he could even feel pain.
"Sorry dude no idea, none at all." She said laughing and she turned around and leaned against the bars smiling up at Zach. She was honestly crazy confused right now, but she hardly cared to think about it right now. There was no point she figured, it was clear they were in locked up and if there was any chance of them getting out the others would figure it out. She wouldn't really be that much help anyway.
Suddenly the dude was casting some voodoo magic and released them from the cages. "And see, things happen too fast to catch on, you just have to roll with it." Hayley said grinning at Zach as she pranced out of their cell. Then some faeries guards ran in yelling all sorts of things in some strange language and then more came and they started capturing them all. Hayley couldn't really be stuffed to fight back, it's not like she could ever compete and aginst these gaurds so she simply retired herself to an eye roll as they cuffed her. Though the cuffs were rough and she could feel them bruising
Their escape was ended prematurely as more than enough faeries to contain them started pouring in and taking them hostage..... again. Zach wanted noting more than to fight, to escape the clutches of these men who didn't seem to know what clothes were, but the sheer number of them made that thought sucide. So, he regretfully allowed a faerie to restrain him as he stood next to Hayley.
He sighed. "I've never really read up on it, but I'm sure that we just broke the record for fastest re-capturing, no?"
Rory watched as Wincher just accepted the capture, obviously there was nothing they could do. She just wanted to run, to find a way out, but they were completely surrounded. There was noway.
Wincher leaned over to whisper something to Rory, his warm breath tickled her ear, but his words never came. A fairy knocked him upside the head and led the two away from each other.
Rory's hands were bound behind her back, the vines digging into her flesh. She winced in pain, but kept her face as neutral as possible. The fairy who had grabbed her gripped a hold of her shoulder and pressed down hard on her pressure points. She cried out, giving way to his grip.
The man cackled behind her, and pulled her back up by the hair. He laughed in her ear, and pushed her forward to the line that her friends were already in. This was not good. Definitely not good.
"You alright Rory?" Hayley asked as gently and quietly as she could when Rory got shoved into position next to her. It was only then that Hayley realized that they were being herded into a line. "Uh oh, sorry to be miss negative, but this doesn't look good. Any Ideas?" Hayley said quietly so only the portion on the troop that were here could hear her. Hayley herself began twisting her wrists in the vine handcuff things to see if maybe she could squeeze through them. It hurt a little but she reckoned if she needed to she could squeeze out of them. Hayley had small hands; it was a gift, she was even able to get out of cheap handcuffs if she needed to. Don't ask, when, where or why she ever proved this ability though.
Rory glanced over at Hayley, not realizing she was being shoved into the line behind her. The red head nodded, not wanting to concern them too much. Her shoulders hurt, and the vines were digging into his wrists uncomfortably. "No worries. I'll be fine."
The man fairy still had a grip on Rory's shoulder, keeping her from running. Apparently, she looked like someone who would run, for she was the only one with a fairy still holding on to her. The others simply walked ahead of the line. Rory pulled her shoulder away and glared at the fairy. He didn't touch her, or punish her for pulling away, but simply stepped in line behind her.
What is with this dude?
"Uh oh, sorry to be miss negative, but this doesn't look good. Any ideas?"
Rory looked back down at Hayley, her attention removed from the fairy behind her. She watched Hayley twist her wrists, the vines digging into the young girl's flesh. It looked like Hayley could remove her hands from the binds, but what then? Rory glanced around her, trying to spot any place they could run to, to get away. But there was none. It seemed like all doors had been removed from the corridor they were walking through.
Plus, most fairies enchant their binds. Rory had read that most enchanted vines would entrap it's captor if they tried to escape. Often full body bindings that rendered the captor completely immobile. Some vines would squeeze, as well. Slowly pushing on the captor until they couldn't breathe anymore.
"Don't Hayley." Rory said quickly not wanting her friend to endure that torture. "These might be enchanted. It would do us well to just go with the fairies. We can't run anywhere, but back to the cages we arrived in."
The red head glanced behind her, the male fairy still following close behind her.
The faerie guards lead the group through many twisting corridors, poking and prodding the humans repeatedly to speed up, slow down, stop talking, don't breathe so loud. There was no reason for any of it. But the group had to endure it all. Wincher was dragged along behind by two guards by his legs, his hair getting full of dirt from the earthy floor.
Eventually, they reached the royal corridors, their castle divided into the royal center and the outer halls for protection and the dungeons. More guards arrived, all male and similarly colored in golds and silvers. Leaf designs decorated the dirt walls here, torches glowing with blue and green flames dimly for just enough illumination for the humans to watch each other be fashioned with thorn collars. Like a bunch of dogs, they were led on leashes to two upright but slightly leaning double doors. The earth seemed to have encompassed the edges. There was no way it could be opened. But miraculously they did, and the group was tugged inside the royal court.
The space was longer than it was wide, torches lighting the area in a blue soft hue. The prisoners followed the guards along the carpeted ground, designs of blood and wings transfixing their eyes in the threaded design. At the end sat the golden throne of the queen adorned with rubies and emeralds along the edges, and upon it, the Queen herself, the most beautiful creature within the Faerie community. She was softly pink skinned, with purple designs swirling around her features and limbs. At first glance, it would appear she was unclothed, just drawn upon with magic ink, but her clothes simply matched perfectly the vines and sparkles covering her. It may have even been part of her body itself. Distinguishing such was difficult, especially under such dim lighting.
"Who among you calls him or herself leader?" she demanded, smiling with mock kindness. She lounged happily, twisting a long, slightly bent branch between her hands.
"We'll need to find the dungeons, that's where the others will be. If they're not already dead."
How did this happen? It seemed this trip was going so smoothly at first and was going to be over quickly. Toriko guessed completely wrong. With great thanks to Anna, Aiden and herself had barely been able to keep themselves from being caught by the faeries like the others had been. Now they were on a rescue mission, a dangerous one at that. Toriko's grip on the handle of the small dagger Anna had given her tightened. She wondered if it came down to it, if she'd really be capable of killed someone. She'd never show these kind of doubts on the outside, and did a fine job keeping her usual calm and serious appearance and had simply nodded to Anna's instructions, but inside she was scared. She didn't want to admit it, and it wasn't likely that she would, but she was scared for the others, scared for herself. Would they make it out of here alive?
Shut up! Of course..I won't die here. No one will die here. She scolded herself, slipping the dagger into the pocket of the sweat pants she was wearing. At least the blade was covered by a sheath so it wouldn't rip through the fabric. Next time she'd make sure to take her own weapon with her. These paintings just kept getting more and more dangerous. Well, maybe the second wasn't as bad as the first, but this one was the most troubling so far.
Then there was Aiden. Would he be able to kill if it came down to it? She felt a little bad, for such an innocent boy to have to do something like that. When she'd gone to his house, he seemed quite reluctant to go with them back to Owl's. Maybe it would just be best if he stopped coming with them all together. So far, it didn't seem like he'd done anything to help the group in any way, but those thoughts made her feel a little guilty for thinking them. Taking a deep breath, she decided to focus on the task ahead of them. They needed to get the trinket, save the others, and get out of this place. Of course, despite the others being kidnapped earlier and the dangers of running into them, she still felt her curiosity pulling her toward getting more information on who exactly the faeries were, and why they do the things they do. And opportunity to ask though probably wouldn't come along anytime soon.
Eyes rolling, Wincher lifted one lid and squinted against the dim lighting. He was on the ground, towering faerie men on both of his sides and a voice speaking danced around off the walls. He pinpointed the Queen easily enough. Nervous now, he listened to her ask for the leader. If Ryan spoke, trouble would probably arise. Wincher let out a loud cough and tried to get to his feet. His head ached terribly. The guards tried to seat him down again but he raised both hands, stumbling a bit. "I'm the leader. Hello. The fellow you knocked out. Right here."
The Queen tilted her head toward him, eyes menacingly slanted. "You? The one who so easily is incapacitated?"
Wincher nodded, just now realizing how it must look. "Yep, yep that's me. Not the most uh...well, that doesn't matter. How are you doing this evening, Your Majesty?"
"Do not try to make small talk, human."
Wincher felt the stillness of the room stiffen further. He glanced over the earthling kids anxiously. He had to be delicate. They had to escape. With that thought, he eyed the black-haired round glasses devil. He probably already had an alternate plan, knowing his mind. And know it, Wincher did.
"All right well," he began and waved over the group. "We come in peace. We're simply on a treasure hunt as it were. And well, seeking peace with you of course my dear Queen. This feud we have going. It isn't right! We used to be allied."
the Queen sniffed once in response.
At a loss for more words, he glanced to the others, then to the black-haired boy.
He got the message. Raising a finger, since his hands were restrained, the kid added, "He's right. We're here seeking peace."
"Peace with humans...our truce existed solely because we shared an enemy."
"Oh come on," the black-haired boy groaned and Wincher stared incredulously at him. Was he seriously being so informal with the Faerie Queen? The very Queen who had the power to kill them? The bespectacled boy continued. "We've been allies for years! Like I tried to explain before, I'm not from this time! And back then, we even shared homes. Food. Armies. Together we were unstoppable...and you run into hiding when the slightest opposition faces us, when we needed you!"
Wincher remained still, only his eyes flickering back and forth, just waiting for the order.
The boy went on. "I managed to time travel to reach you. Don't you think we're intelligent beings? We're worth your alliance. You used to believe in us, calling us your lost kin."
"A mistake," the Queen responded.
Wincher furrowed his brows, his own rage building. He tried to keep it down though. He knew the faeries used to love them and the humans in return. GlenDock used to be different. What he saw in this different time, his sister, the state of this winter season...nothing had gotten better. What he feared had come to pass and here he was, at the exact moment in GlenDock future to fix it all. He could save them.
The Queen had other plans though. "Take the younger ones to the Powder Room." She eyed Wincher harshly. "Keep this one. And this boy," she indicated the black-haired one. "I'll deal with them myself."
Narration
The group was led out of the throne room through a side door, led up, higher and higher, the steps twisting to the left then right. Maybe this was the torture, the never-ending stairs. But then they reached their destination. The door opened and a pink tinted fog drifted out as they were pushed forward one after the other.
Inside, several giggling voices greeted them. Faerie girls were twirling around the center with leaves dancing in the air with them, the pink fog and smoke creating a smog, hard to see through. Soon, the kids feel the effects of the smoke, the drug of the faeries' invention. Their spirits lift and smiles cross their faces. Suddenly they don't care about Owl or the Trinkets. They simply want to smoke the long purple pipe being handed around and nibble on the blue and purple colored cakes placed everywhere. The scene clears the longer they stand in the fog.
It is an isolated meadow that seems to stretch on for forever, but then the space seems small. The kids don't notice. Large mushrooms stand above them, or offer seating and a river bubbles forth nearby. Pink and red trees line the edges and the clearing is their domain.
The faerie girls hurry forward and pull them all into a dance, laughing and encouraging them to breathe heavily. And they do, the drug warping all thoughts.
Anna
Fortunately, Anna leads the two, Toriko and Aiden, through the tunnels safely to the throne room. From afar, they witness the order to send most of the group to the Powder Room. Anna how only ever heard rumors, but didn't like the sound of it. But her brother and another boy remained behind. She couldn't leave him.
But, as she glanced to the two earthlings beside her, smelling so different than those who lived in GlenDock, she wondered how they would react if she ignored their friends. She couldn't be in two places at once. Besides, they didn't even know where the Powder Room was. So, not planning to save the probably already dead earthlings, she focused on her brother for now. If there was a chance to save the others later, then she would. Her brother needed her now.
She whispered to Toriko and Aiden. "We'll have to strike fast. And soon. Do you think you can handle yourselves by untying my brother and the boy? I'll take down the guards and the Queen if I must."
"Will you now?"
Two guards had watched their entire journey to the throne room. Catching Anna off guard, they easily incapacitated her with a sharp blade to the abdomen.
The wound wasn't deadly, Anna knew. It was a poison. One she couldn't fight. Collapsing at Aiden's feet, her eyes rolled until darkness filled her vision.
The faeries easily subdued the three and carted them off to the Powder Room as well with smiles on their colored faces.
(OOC: Not sure why no one's been posting...but here's this to hopefully bring it back ^^)
"Shit" Ryan grumbled as the guards grabbed them, quickly joined by reinforcements. They were handcuffed and lead out down the hallway. He was behind Alex, who was behind Wincher. Ryan wanted to say something to Wincher but He noticed the Glendock man was knocked out by one of the guards. "Were gona die" Ryan mused, dropping his eyes to the ground.
As they were marched through the halls Ryan studied his surroundings. Maybe he would see something they could use to get out. But so far no such luck, even if he could... He would have no idea where to go, and there was no way hed be able to get everyone else out with him. He wasnt leaving them behind.
Eventually they were pushed into a huge room. His eyes settled on what must have been their leader. Her throne was covered with jewels and the queen herself was vibrant as well. She was probably extremely beautiful to a faerie, but not Ryans cup of tea. Once they were settled in front of her highness she asked them who their leader was. Ryan took a step and opened his mouth but before he could speak he heard a cough from below. Wincher had woken up.
Wincher proclaimed himself the leader. Ryan raised an eyebrow but let it slide, he knew Wincher had more information, and knew what was safe to do here. He could lead as far as Ryan was concerned. After a brief conversation and a bit of a history lesson the queen decided to send Ryan and his team out while keeping Wincher and the new guy with an attitude. Ryan didnt want to leave Wincher alone in there but he was given a look saying other wise. Ryan withdrew his complaints and lead his group out of the room, being pushed along by guards.
He turned back and gave quick hopeful glimpses back to everyone. Hopefully he would be able to make them feel safer. He noticed Anna, Toriko, and Aiden were not there. Maybe Anna helped them escape. He turned back more worried than before. Good work...
They were lead up a Super Mario 64 staircase until they finally hit the top and were pushed into a door. The room was very soft, pink, and soothing. He could feel himself getting less stressed every second that passed. He could even feel himself smiling. He started chuckling and walking forward. He dropped onto the ground and layed spread eagle, laughing. This was paradise. No stress, no cares, beautiful room.... He wanted to stay here forever.
He heard a small noise from the corner, but disregarded it. He was too relaxed to care.
Sure, the other prisoners were nice. They helped, and all. But soon enough, another set of guards were swooping in and shoving them in a line. Oh, how wonderful. What could await? Another set of cells? A grim expression on her face, she followed the rest of them. When they were pushed into a room, she stumbled, but caught her footing. She complained to a guard, still refusing to drop the phony British accent, but only got a dirty look before the door slammed behind them.
"Rude.." She mumbled, slipping her hands out of the vine bounding. Sure, it was painful and left long, bloody scratched down her hands. But that was a small price to pay. She looked up at the queen, who was currently conversing with Wincher. Easily getting bored with their conversation, she glanced at Ryan from the corner of her eye. She could untie him. They would get the others and get the heck out of here. It was a good plan, but easier said then done.
Before she could even get her hands near Ryan's handcuffs, they were being pushed out of the room again, and up an endless flight of stairs. She was just about to open her mouth to protest, but they had just reached the top of the stairs. After being shoved yet again into another room, Alex was about ready to scream at these people. But as soon as she took in a deep breath to start yelling, she felt a lot happier. What was the point of being mad, anyway? The world is such a nice place...
"Look it, cakes. How delicious." Alex said, taking one off of the platter. For some reason, she still didn't drop the accent. But no matter to think of that now. The adult started to giggle after taking a bite, and then started to twirl around the room. She finished off the cake, and got very dizzy so she simply fell to the ground, laying next to Ryan.
"Isn't this just wonderful? I never want to leave..."
Rory struggled against her restraints, but her captors pushed her up a looping stairwell without any second thought. They were shoved into a room, that didn't seem to fit in the narrow tower, filled with pink and fluffy.
She was automatically taken over by a suddenly fuzzy feeling and happiness flooded into her body that she had never experienced before. She couldn't believe how happy she was, how relieved from all of her stress.
She started laughing, uncontrollably. Her body being taken over by the tingly spasms. She grasped at her stomach before finally collapsing on the ground, wrapped up in the fluffy pink happiness.
The room greatly contrasted the other rooms in the tower that he had seemed, this one seemed a tad bit....gay, or so he thought at first. Soon after he'd taken a few breaths, dancing with the faerie girls seemed like a good idea, and the room didn't seem to be a problem any longer.
And so he danced, not a care in the world as he did so. He felt light, happy, and unburdoned - something he never truly got to feel. Questioning why they would allow prisoners such a feeling never once crossed his mind in this state, though for the one other, somewhat sane person occupying his body, his guard never let up.
Zach.... Stop dancing like a dumbass! Stop smiling!
...
Respond to me, damnit!
...
Hey! Are you listening?!
...
Try as he might, his other self couldn't snap Zachary out of the drug-induced state he was in, and was unable to do anything. Of course, the young man who never truly smiled was feeling as if he was now. Whether he heard his other self or not remains to be seen, but after so long without smiling for his own sake, who could blame him for wanting to?
Giggling like crazy she watched the dancing and it wasn't long before she was spinning around in circles. She saw Zach was also up and dancing, grinning, she made her way over to him. She didn't waste anytime asking, she just grabbed his hand and began dancing with him like an absolute loon. "Isn't this jusest amazzzing..." Hayley said loudly, playing with the different sounds she could make in her sentence, like she was talking or the first time.
"Of courssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssse it is!" he laughed stupidly. "Suuuper duper amazzzing!" he mimiciked, unable to contain a hearty laugh brought on by the influence of the room. If someone in the room had a clear mind, they would probably raise an eyebrow at him.... and then shoot him in the neck with a tranquilizer and throw him in an asylum. Yet, he didn't care.
But someone else did.
I swear I WILL UPLOAD THIS TO THE INTERNET IF YOU DONT STOP.......and we get out....alive.
.....
Damn....
"Rubber baby buggy bumpers....!" he said randomly, then laughed uncontrollably at himself. "I can't even say that fasssssssssst!"
The Queen circles the two male humans before her, smiling viciously and beautifully at the same time. A dangerous combination of sweet and sour scents lined the air where she walked, a perfume natural as the dirt walls and twisting tree roots around them. Indeed she knew the time of peace between faeries and humans had been lovely, even happy. But times called for safety and precaution. With the enemy above cursing the lands, the faeries hid underground.
Coming into power around the same time, the current blue-skinned Queen knew what was at risk for her people. Humans only caused trouble, evident above. They were arrogant and manipulative. They messed with the laws of nature like this little black-haired boy and his so-called time travel. It didn't make sense. How it was achieved unnerved her. But he spoke the truth, she could tell.
Eventually she grabbed the smaller boy and tore his handcuffs away. "You time traveler," she whispered, sniffing his above ground scent. "You must have great intelligence to find us in this time without so much as a scratch on you." Lifting her fingernail, she swiped at his neck, a line of red appearing in the wounds wake. The boy didn't flinch. She smiled. "What is your name little one?"
He held his lips shut tight.
"Your name!" she howled in protest, pushing him to the ground and pouncing on him with the tresses of her thin clothes wrapped around his legs. She towered above him, an animal of shimmering power and ferocity.
The boy swallowed hard, pushing his glasses closer to his face and muttering, "Owl...Your Majesty."

Up in the Powder Room, the pink dust shifts and swirls this way and that, the earthlings uncaring and dancing and giggling and eating to their heart's content. The faerie girls giggle and start to dress them with flowers and silks, singing a song of their people, a sad melody, but beautiful.
Our hearts lead us on
To the place we've wandered from
But we found our way back
On the pink colored path
We're where we belong
It was here all along
Magnificent feasts
No hunting beasts
No voices low or high
We're here together
In only good weather
It is here we live and die
Singing the song, lulls the earthlings to sleep and the faerie girls giggle and continuing humming the melody over and over until the children are gathered in the center of the room in a circled mess of collapsed bodies. The pink dust fades from view...and the fires are lit.

Wednesday 7:50 PM
The pounding on the other side of the door had stopped long ago. Ira sat at the window. Owl leaned against the far wall with tense shoulders, glaring to the painting of the wintered forest. Lorelei was certainly taking her time. The thought of the redheaded girl infuriated him as much as worried him. How such an Earth creature could get under his skin so easily confused him. It had been only five years since they had shared space together. Five was not a large number at all. Five was nothing.
Where were they? They weren't dead, Owl would be able to tell. But they weren't working very hard. Being gone this long was never a good sign. Perhaps the Faeries decided to imprison them instead of kill them, keep them as little Earth pets. Owl expected as much from their kind.
He rubbed at his eyebrows and slowly decided to leave the room. Ira remained in the attic.
If they didn't return soon, then he would have to figure out a new plan. Perhaps new children. Perhaps Lorelei needed replacing after all.
It was strange not being thrust into her usual nightmares. Her mind was simply thrust into darkness, her brain left with no horrible memories to bring up. Her mind was completely clear, and as the smoke of the fire drifted into her nostrils, she knew instantly what it was.
Rory's body shot forward immediately, her mind immediately clear of the pink dust. The room was nothing like what they had seen when they walked in. It was barren, nothing but a few pieces of furniture, that were slowly being set on fire. She was quick to react, her body immediately reacting to the dangerous situation.
Her friends, were they friends, still laid unconscious on the ground, blissfully drugged by the pink smoke. Rory glanced around the room, trying to find anything that would help put out the fire. There was nothing. The food and drinks that they had seen in the drugged haze, was just an illusion. Biting her lip, Rory quickly pulled off her coat and immediately began patting out the fire.
She was terrified that her coat would catch, but she didn't have time to worry about that. She continued to slap at the heavy cloth, smoke rising up around it, until she saw the fire diminish.
Rory's coat was ruined, but she sat back breathing deeply. She collapsed onto her back, glad that she and her friends were at least safe, for now. They still had to find the trinket, and somehow get back to the stinking forest to get transported back. How were they going to get out of here? How were they going to find the trinket?
Rory sighed and stared up at the ceiling, relishing in the quiet moment. Hopefully, the others would wake up on their own, but she figured she would end up having to wake them up anyway. She was about to push up off the floor, when something caught her eye. Underneath a long table propped against the wall, sat a cloth covered object. The cloth had been shifted and the corner of the object was clearly visible.
A blue object.
Pushing onto her knees, Rory crawled forward and pulled the object out from under the table. It was larger and heavier than what the redhead had expected, but she removed the object from the cloth that revealed a large blue box. The trinket.
Rory quickly stood, placing the box onto the table and ran over to the unconscious others. She didn't know where to start on getting them to wake up. She rubbed her hands together nervously.
"C'mon guys! Wake up!" She said. "I got the trinket, we gotta get out of here!"
"Alexandra, come help me find something. I think I almost found it," A female voice rang out, loud and clear like they whoever it was was right in her ear. She turned around, but didn't see anybody. She was alone in the middle of a field, which looked shockingly familiar.
"Where are you? And how do you know my name?" Alex said, circling around. There was nowhere for anybody to be hiding. Then suddenly, a familiar face appeared in front of her, and she gasped, stepping back. It was a girl that was at least 24, shockingly beautiful. She was dressed in a white dress, and barefoot. It couldn't be... No.
"You're dead. The car crash..." Alex mumbled, stepping back. Her girl smiled again, and simply shook her head.
"Oh, little sister. Don't you know that you're..." Suddenly, the girl turned around, trailing off. She crouched down, and started to look through the tall grass. "Come help me find it, sis. I almost got it." She suddenly said, not bothering to turn around.
"Okay, Rachel. But what do I have to do?" Alex said, taking a step forward. Finally, the girl turned her head, and gave a teasing smile. As if she knew a secret.
"Just wake up."
"What... What's going on?" Alex shouted, sitting up. With a look around the room, she remembered the events of the day, and stood up. She noted that Rory was up. She noticed the trinket in her hand, and slowly remembered the events. And then she replayed the dream over in her mind. No time to break down now. She could be depressed later.
"You want them to wake up?" She asked the red-head, a devious smile playing across her lips. She looked at the person closest to her, which was Ryan, and literally jumped on him. He stirred slightly, but didn't wake up. With a sigh, she decided to go with Owl's method, and swiftly clamped a hand over his mouth, and pinched his nose shut. Any second now...

I mean, I know I went douche mode and dissapeared for... what is it, 5 or 6 months?
but if anyone is still around, id like to try and bring this guy back to life.

Also, should I post about me just dancing with Ali? (Hey, that rythmes!)
Re: Trinkets for Dr. Owl
Yeah. Was gonna see if she was going to do something like that.
Re: Trinkets for Dr. Owl
It could probably be Zachary. Or like, if I pulled a Supernatural and had the pain of the scratches on Alex's hands bring her back to her moody self :)
Re: Trinkets for Dr. Owl
Hopefully we can revive this RP! c:
Re: Trinkets for Dr. Owl
When I join an RP based of an anime or anything, I like to have watched the whole thing or to know more about it before joining. It would be different if I joined as a newbie character who doesn't know much about the stuff in there, cus then I could have a reason for my character to be asking that kind of stuff or to not know about it XD Then it would be easy.
But usually I prefer to know what the heck I'm talking about.
Re: Trinkets for Dr. Owl
That stinks! Ah well, can't do anything about it, I suppose. It's funny because I've only seen the first season, and the other who joined hadn't seen even the first episode when she joined XD
Re: Trinkets for Dr. Owl
I looked at it but decided not to join. I have a lot going on lately, and haven't really watched enough of that anime and wouldn't have a clue what the hell I'd be talking about if I did create one and started posting...sadly..
