Okay, this is something I cooked up while I was bored, and no, I was not under an apple tree and an apple so happened to drop on my head, such that happened to Newton. This was a more spontaneous thing, you know, just suddenly.

Okay so here's the plan. Biographies. Simple, just give stuff that relates to you and yourself. Such as your name(Real name and not another pseudonym), age, height, weight and etc. But, remember that YOU will be doing this on your own will, and I will not be held responsible for anything.

Once upon a time a man and a woman loved each other. At least they thought they did, and it certainly seemed so. One day, him at seventeen and her at sixteen WHOOPS, they had a baby. They laughed it off and lived along. Then WHOOPS, another one. WHOOPS, WHOOPS, two more. None planned. You think they might have learned after the first or second, but it was not so. The second mistake of this union was named Amanda.

They were loving parents, but they didn't know much about parenting. They knew work, both having been raised on farms and employed from a very early age. So they taught what they knew. Nurturing and teaching became management and positive feedback in a formal manner. Can't complain, really, as it worked out well for me.

The result of this raising and many dramatic if boring to-the-reader events was the person who sits at this end of the pixelated world. The United States serves my purposes well enough, even if I don't agree with much of what they do. I guess I am just fatalistic. I believe every country is going to screw me over, so I don't try very hard to avoid.

To me life is an endless series of cause and effect. The nature of things causes a pattern. I do my best to live beside and beyond the pull of that pattern, yet find myself trapped most times. I didn't have much social interraction from people my age, I studied them more than anything. I found solace in those younger and older than me. I learned rapidly. Still no matter how much you hold between your ears, there is always more to learn, since as far as I know, thought takes up no space.

Pin any of my likes and you can trace them back to adoration for the giving and receiving of information. I speak German, Japanese and know American Sign Language. I read every thing with words I can get to, boring or otherwise. I love to sing, and do so competitively (proud member of the 6 year running Region 13 championship 'Spirit of Spokane' barbershop/jazz A kapella all female chorus). I love to care for children and raised on for two years, I also love to care for animals as they are usually more sensible than people.

I am located in a town called Ceour D'Alene in Idaho in the United states and I have one sole dislike. Hypocracy. You could be a murderer and I would really be apathetic until you said you were going to do something and didn't, or held another to a standard you don't hold yourself to. Consistancy is invaluable to me. I need the patterns of the people around me to keep my head where it sits.

Who am I???

I am a 10-year veteran of on-line fighting. My ooc-name is Wes, for those who are interested (click the link). My ic-name, well, I've had many of those over the past 10-years. I've had a lot of characters who died, and a lot of them who still live on. I first started on-line fighting in 1998 on Multicity chat server. I joined the Z-senshi Elite in 2001 on Comicity chat server. Some of the on-line fighting styles I've practiced include: Auto, Advanced Auto (AA), Freeform, Paraform, Eden T1, Eden T2, T3, T4, T5, TRBS and RCM.

My main chat-style was Freeform, and my forum-style was Paraform, so I learned both speed-based and turn-based methods of textual combat. Have I ever invented my own style? Some might say yes, some might say no, but to me that all depends on your definition of "style". I never formally invented any system, but I have written tutorials and helped modify some previously existing tutorials to help others better understand some styles. Occassionally, I developed my own "concepts" and wrote those down in the form of styles, but those concepts were not meant to be learned by anyone else but me, that's why they are my styles.

I am no longer actively involved in on-line fighting, I gave that up 2-years-ago when I "retired" from textual combat. But for those who wish to know, I am interested in realistic on-line fighting involving human principles and unarmed combat. I mean, I also enjoy fencing and swordsmanship, but the key word here is "realistic" martial arts. I prefer 1-vs-1 duels as opposed to 2-on-1 or 5-on-3 handicap fights. I also enjoy small, not large, tournaments between 10 to 20 fighters at a time. I have a real passion for "epic battle" roleplaying, or 1-vs-1 battles involving NPC's.

Come to think of it, I do have my own style called WTCM, which involves "epic battle" roleplaying and NPC's in a turn-based textual enviroment. "WTCM" stands for Wesley's Textual Combat Method, and basically it was meant for forum-fighters who like paraform. The idea is basically like bushido, the way of the warrior. One army of NPC's faces another army of NPC's on the battlefield, while the 2-players involved in the battle engage in a 1-vs-1 duel. "NPC" stands for Non-Playable characters.

I used to like rap music, but not so much any more. I mean, I liked Tupac Shakur when he was still alive. Nowadays though, I mainly listen to classic or southern rock. I like John Lennon, Marcy Playground, System of a Down, things like that. I'm not in a rock band, but I do play the piano. I am also a martial artist, but what kind of martial artist I am would depend on your personal definition of martial arts. I practice kung-fu, and when asked which style of kung-fu I practice, I would say I practice kung-fu ( :lol:

). Really though, I practice northern and southern styles of kung-fu. This includes but is not limited to Tong Long Kune (Mantis), Bao Ying Kune (Panther), Fu Ying Kune (Tiger), Hoc Ying Kune (Crane), She Ying Kune (Snake), Lung Ying Kune (Dragon), Wing Chun Kune (Crane/Snake), Hung Gar Kune (Crane/Tiger), and yes, even Jeet Kune Do (Intercepting).

I am also interested in An Ch'i, an ancient Chinese kung-fu style or precursor to Japanese nin-jutsu. Besides martial arts, I am also interested in writing and world history. I like astrology, philosophy, and religious studies. I am an agnostic, but I have studied several great religions including but not limited to Brahmanism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islamic traditon. The one thing all these religions have in common is the "Golden Rule" or principle, do unto others as you would have them do unto you. So I guess you could say I practice the Wesley's Religion ( :lol:

).

I am engaged to be married, and my girlfriend is 6-months pregnant with our unborn child. I am not really sure what I am doing yet as far as my future goes. I signed up for Job Corps, the Marine Corps, the U.S. Army, and many other services which all have me on a waiting list right now. I will be pursuing whatever career calls me back first. No matter which branch takes me, I will be training to become a doctor. I am interested in medicine, and would like to pursue a career in the medical field. Until that time, you all are stuck with me here.

Dislikes: Hmm I dun like a lotta veggies. And I don't like...loud noises, like a lawnmower. Can't think of too much.

About yourself: Hmm, born in Georgia, grew up in Germany for a year or two, then Korea for 6 years then back to the states. Parents divorced, ride a plane every summer to see me mum. I know about the Drake equation and other useless bits of information. I don't have a traditional belly button, more of a vertical line. I attend JMU (James Madison University) and am quite content with it. Living on-campus as of the moment.
