Introduction
You land on a hard, cold surface and their is nothing but darkness all around. You can not remember where you were before you landed here...or anything about your past...You can only remember your name.
All of the sudden creatures start appearing around you, chasing you and taunting you , "A Tasty Human, a TASTY HUMAN!!"
You run for your life, and you keep running, time does not exist in this place. You will spend an eternity running from these creatures, if you are killed you will just pull yourself back together...over and over again...feeling the pain of each death as vividly as the first.
Unless... There is only one way out of the Abyss and that is to make a contract with one of the demon creatures, then you with both be freed back into the real world, for a time. Your contract will have a time limit...once your contract is up, your creature will drag you back to the Abyss and kill you itself...over and over again. Will you accept the contract? Is it worth going back somewhere you don't remember? Just to be dragged back down to the darkness...?
The moment you touch your creature and form the contract you feel a searing pain in the middle of your back, as if a knife has been driven through your spine. Your eyes open wide and your head is thrown back in agony, and you feel it. A weight on your back, and mirrors appear all around you. You claw at your back to see a shadow girl digging her claws in your back, try as you might she is only a shadow.All you can do is watch. She whispers into your ear as she dissolves, "It is going to tear you bit by bit," you hear the cackles from the invisible being, "Its going to rip you apart and watch your blood drain to the ground," she reappears before you. "And then you will be mine forever!"
You wake once more, this time in the real world. Where the girl clawed your back you have a black symbol signifying the contract. You're creature lands beside you. You have fallen into the home of the Keeper of the Door. She greets you and explains, "This is more than likely not your time. The people you love are long gone, though it may have been hours or days for you in there," She points to the black door, "It has been years out here. You have come here because you have made a contract correct? Well, you see what you have done is illegal! I must turn you in now or...you earn your way out of the Abyss and work for me...

Red and Daemon had stayed in their own little world of throwing sharp objects at each other, resulting in two small cuts on both of Red's cheeks and on cut on Daemon's hand, until the Prince said they would be starting the mission. Red sighed and stood up, "Well, won't this be fun, right Daemon?" she said, looking up at the leuko with a slight smile. "Yes, very." he replied, grinning a devilish smile as he looked around at everyone else.
The Prince sensed a Chain, send by the Keeper of the Clock he assumed. The house told him everything...There were no secrets from the Prince.
He gathered the Contractors and walked them out the front door, allowing them through the barrier with his staff. Awaiting them was a carriage, where they could all fit. The creatures were captured in their talisman forms, the contractors boarded their ride.
The Keeper reamined at the mansion, walking back down the hall to the secret door. She unsealed it as crasped tha cat knocker...tapping it 3 times against the ornate door. "Sister, It's me!"
He gathered the Contractors and walked them out the front door, allowing them through the barrier with his staff. Awaiting them was a carriage, where they could all fit. The creatures were captured in their talisman forms, the contractors boarded their ride.
The Keeper reamined at the mansion, walking back down the hall to the secret door. She unsealed it as crasped tha cat knocker...tapping it 3 times against the ornate door. "Sister, It's me!"
With a wave of her hand, the large door opened to her sister. The Keeper of the Clocks was sitting on a fluffy cushion, playing with Cheshire. The miniature, cat-like creature crawled about her arms. "Come in, sister," she called, tossing Cheshire into the air and catching him again.
Somewhere in the mansion, a door rattled and finally burst open with a crash. Gwyn leaped out hurriedly as if worried the door would repair itself and close and lock him up again. Arian trotted out after him. Her fur was stiff and little flashes of light speared across it in random intervals but she was already starting to calm, her fur lying flat.
"We're right by the entrance," she said after a moment. Her tongue lolled out in a smile. "Strange."
Gwyn shrugged, reaching up to make sure his hood was still up securely. "Does it matter? We were only gone for a few hours right? Maybe we can find the others."
Arian crouched and then leapt at him. One moment, she was in the air, and then her body vanished and Gwyn blinked several times. His scar and eye socket were suddenly complete. He rubbed his "new" right eye and then looked around. "You could've warned me."
"Search for the other Contractors, hunt for something to do, explore," Arian replied carelessly. "It doesn't matter. As long as we have something to do."
"We're right by the entrance," she said after a moment. Her tongue lolled out in a smile. "Strange."
Gwyn shrugged, reaching up to make sure his hood was still up securely. "Does it matter? We were only gone for a few hours right? Maybe we can find the others."

Red tugged at the gold band around her neck as she stepped into the carriage and waited for the others. Daemon growled at her, telling her to stop fiddling with him in his talisman form. She let out a heavy sigh and recited a poem she heard Daemon say once:
"Broaden your aspects,
Let go of your pride,
With eyes shut,feel your hand in mine,
With dripping of scarlet as sweet as wine,
I feel the burning on my lips,
As your life slips,
I watch you open your eyes upon a glare,
Onto my ridged stone,
Within the final moments it is not the me,
You had once known,

So-So got onto the carriage, Dodado sitting on his head as a silver crown again, still smiling as evilly as ever. He over heard the poem Red recited and was a bit surprised at the words. "How lovely," he said looking over at her, "I'm guessing, based on the words, that you learned it from your contracted creature. "If so you seem to get along alot better then me and Dodado...your name is Red, right? It should be pretty easy for me to remember," his cruel grin still stuck on his face, "It's my favorite color."
Red looked up at So-So, "Yes, my name is Red, and Yes, i did learn it from Daemon, he was speaking it when he found after i was attacked of the millionth time." Red cocked her head to the left and smiled, "Red is a lovely color i agree, but i prefer, pale, drained colors." she said softly, running a finger around the edge of the gold band. Red let her hand drop into her lap and smoothed out her skirt before looking up at So-So once again, her brown eyes staring straight into his, "i know many poems like that, all picked up from living in the Abyss. it seems like i couldn't go anywhere without hearing one." She said, resting her head in the palm of her hand.

"Really, maybe you could share a few some time," his smile still present but a little warmer then before, "In the part of the Abyss I was in I had only two sounds to choose from. 1. The sound of my own flesh being chewed upon. 2. Ravenous, bloodthirsty howling while I was being chased down like a fox in the hunt."
He lifted his hand infront of his crown and snapped, causing a flash, after which he was dressed like a historical british hunter and spoke in a british accent, "Release the hounds!" he said playing a bugle while barking dogs were heard from no where. He snapped again and was back to wearing his black and grey striped shirt.
"Kind of like that," he ended looking back at Red still smiling.

"Funny, they're outside. Perhaps they are going to a picnic?" Arian asked. Gwyn had a vision of her standing there, with her long tail raised slightly, swaying it back and forth innocently.
Gwyn chuckled and shook his head. "They're probably heading off on an assignment. Perhaps I should join them, but I don't know where the Prince is to let me out of the barrier..."
"Maybe I can try to break it," Arian suggested.

Red let out a soft giggle when So-So transformed, "Sounds like you never had a break from everything, and yes... maybe i will share some poems sometime." she said softly, Red brushed a few strands of her from her face as she thought. While her time in the Abyss was depressing and sorrowful, His was fast paced and horrible, it was surprising to her how the Abyss could be different for some people yet still be the same place. She back up at So-So, "Your creature has an interesting power, the power to change forms right? That very use full. Daemon here, well, can do this..." Red snapped her fingers and little blue flame sparked to life and flickered across her hand. She clenched her fist and put out the growing flame.
The Prince stands at the door, ushering for Gwyn, Noxi, Angel. Bae, and Amaya to join the others, "If you don't join now you won't get to go into town afterwards!" He shouted through the home.
The Keeper walked down the Hall of Clocks to return to the tea set with her Sister.
"The Prince felt a powerful soul, Have you send another friend for Gwyn?" she chuckled and sipped her tea.

Gwyn immediately stepped through the barrier and slipped into the carriage when the Prince ushered him through. He gave a quick smile in greeting as he sat down. "Hello. Can someone bring me up to date on the assignment?"

"Hmm, pyrokinetics." So-So said, interested, "The ability to form fire can also have quite the use. At any rate, Dodado can't cause transformation persay. He manipulates the five senses within a certain range. He can make anything look, smell, sound, taste, or even feel like anything else...within reason. The more senses he alters, along with how drastic the change decides how long the illusion lasts. People with a strong sixth sense won't be affected as easily though. It can be a whole lot of fun to mess with people though." He ended laughing to himself.
A smile slowly spread across her face. "Perhaps," she shrugs, a glint in her eye. "I'm afraid I can't recall." She disappeared and reappeared in her respective seat at the table. Cheshire cleaned up the mess that the intruding girl had made. "Now then," the Keeper said. "We finally get to resume our tea."
The Keeper of the Clocks sat with her sister, as the group went on their first mission. She wondered how they would do, If they would learn to work as a team...She thought about So-So, he would probably enjoy it. She looked over at her sister, How would she react when the first memory was reawaken in each of them? She hoped her sister would restrain her fury, but now that she had a Knight of the Abyss working with her...who knows what she might do. The Keeper sipped her tea and chatted with her sister, giggling and enjoying herself.

The Keeper of the Clock stuck out her lip. "I don't play with them! I'm much to old for that. I talk to them, of course." Cheshire rubbed against her leg. She pet his head. "And Cheshire. He's funny."
Returning her attention to her tea, The Keeper of the Clocks commented, "It must be a lot of work, running around, looking after the contractors. Frankly, I wouldn't have the patience."

The Prince stood awaiting Bae, Sylvester,Amaya and Angel to board the carriage, then the fist mission could proceed.
Gwyn read through the file slowly and then put it down, sliding it to the empty spot of seat beside him. He drew up himself and leaned back in his spot in the corner seat. His shadowed eyes gazed blankly at the others in the carriage as he thought about what he had just read.
"The kid should be easy enough to keep out of the fight," Arian murmured carelessly. "Her Chain worries me though. If it gets a hold of anybody, we may have to fight against the other Contractors as well."
"Do you think it's that strong?" Gwyn wondered. He absently tapped the hilt of a sword as he thought.
"It is better to not underestimate... And I think I have met Doldum before in the Abyss, or at least heard the stories of his powers. We must be wary at least." Gwyn could feel Arian mentally flick her tail as she switched gears abruptly. "So were you listening to the other Contractors while you were reading? Interesting powers, no? Ask that illusionist about his pranks for me."
Gwyn gave a small shrug and glanced up at So-So with a smile at the ending comment. "Sorry for interrupting, but my demon wants to ask you about what kind of pranks you've done so far. She loves messing with people."

Arian laughed in Gwyn's mind. "Very nice. I wonder how long it can last and how far it can go." She chuckled. "I would like to hear the story of the 'right' So-So."
Gwyn considered for a moment. "The bleeding cross, then." He grinned slightly at the others and looked at Red. "What do you think... Red?" He quickly avoided the name "Amanda," much to Arian's amused disappointment. She had, after all, wanted to see the girl react to Gwyn calling her that.

The Prince closed the door behind him, resealing the entrance. If anyone else decides to come the Keeper can let them out... he thought as he climbed into the front, grabbing the reigns. He gave the horse a quick, "Yah," and the carriage started to move. They passed through the city, into a darker part of the town...there weren't as many lights and the streets were much dirtier. He pulled the carriage to a stop and opened the door, allowing the group out. He said to the group, "Your creatures can sense each other, they will lead you to Doldum. "Once we get close," he said to the talisman-bound creatures, "you will be released, but remember your powers flow through your contractors. The harder you fight, the faster your contractor will wear."
He waited as the group collected themselves.

"The right one sounds better." Daemon practically yelled at her with excitement, "Alright there, Calm down, the right one as well then." she said, looking at Gwyn and then the two So-So's. Red mentally saw a wide and mischievous smile grow across Daemons face as he eagerly awaited the story to be told when the carriage started with a jolt. Red watched out the window as endless darkness turned into a dark, dirty street. Red cocked her head to the side and watched as the sped past people, "I wonder if they can see us?" she silently asked herself as the carriage came to a slow stop. Red followed everyone else out of the carriage and looked around as the Prince told how to locate the doldum and that their creature will break from their talisman form when they were close.
