What is it like having a home to return to? What does it feel like to have people that love you to come back to? I never really realized what it was that made me feel so empty inside this whole time in which I have attended this academy, I have just gone thew the motions, trying to be the perfect student - or the perfect monster. I suppose I was surprised when I was asked to attend this school, I am not of pure blood, I am not desirable by those of my kind. Had I had any other blood in me, I would have been rejected by my own kind possibly, perhaps it's that in which I am capable of that leaves me slightly with acceptance. When I got here things were in such dissaray, everyone rejecting each others presence. I'm glad at least that the academy and its students have grown, I hope that I have grown with them. Throughout the years there is one thing in which I have always lacked, a friend. That was until last year I suppose. An unlikely friendship to say the least but a friendship of sorts nonetheless. Are you proud of me?

When I finished high school here I should have been proud of myself, why was I not? I have been the only person here who doesn't drink blood like normal vampires should, am I the only one? The staff thinks I am hard to deal with, I can see it in their faces when they see my blood all over the floor, outside in the bushes, all over my clothes. I try, to not be a burden. I am only a danger to myself, only those who have encountered me know that however, I am told my bite feels like...well, perhaps that is just my vampire and succubus sides getting mixed up. I am looking forward to this year, I am finally in college, I didn't think I could make it here, as I am. I am majoring in photography and graphic art...it's a lovely thing.

Over the summer most of the students here practice their abilities, try to get stronger. As it goes there is always a tournament at the beginning of the year, I don't like fighting but as support it is my job to take part. I somewhat enjoy tournament, I do enjoy protecting people. But I am afraid of losing control..I am afraid of fear. Someday, I am afraid I cannot come back from it. Why was I given that power? Naturally I assume everyone got stronger, I hope those in which I am in the tournament with got stronger as well, my team that is. There is something about this place that is unnerving however, I don't like some of the things that go on, but I have no control over it, does anyone?

Ai turned around from her desk and put her pen down, she was a frequent of diary entries due to the lack of people she had to speak to. She never really had a roomate in which she could confide in, and never really wanted to bother the one person whom she ever did talk to. She was so scared of bothering people, and just made sure that she kept them happy, she was a motherly and nurturing type. But, what of herself? Ai was already in her dorm, being that she was in college now she had her down already, having never had a place to leave to in the summer in the first place. She turned towards the tiny closet in which was provided for her, one which was already filled with clothes. Everything inside looked like it was suited for a doll. She was currently in her pajamas, a white lace gown of sorts, which stopped just about the knee in length. There was a bow in the middle on the front, and though alluring was childish in some ways.

She started sifting through the outfits, eventually, settling upon something which was quite like what she was wearing now. White in color, short in length, though a bit poofy and flowing at the bottom with a large bow in the back instead of the front. The sleeves were long though transparent, with bows that wrapped around the wrist. She had odd taste in clothes, or maybe it was something in which was burned into her mind because of how she was dressed as a child. The sun was nowhere to be seen today, in fact it was pouring outside. Thunder accompanied the rain, as did your flash of lightning here and there. One could ask who could be so crazy as to wear such an outfit in such weather, Ai didn't really own any other clothes, so she just happened to wear such things regardless of the weather. She slipped into the dress, and turned towards the door in which she left her shoes, grabbed a pair of what looked like ballet shoes, with ribbons that wrapped up to the thigh. She slowly put them on as she jumped a few times with each thundering crash.

Ai was not a big fan of thunder, she was sure others would appreciate the sunless weather. Therefor, she was not going to complain about it. Ai's first class was Self Control, something she had just added to her schedule due to the lack of people she was able to bite into. Ai was not someone who had to drink blood, no she had to inject it, but it was not like people were just willing to give her their neck. Most of the time she would run to some random area and spew blood all over the place, but she was told by a teacher that was not acceptable, and so she was placed in Self Control in hopes that she could make her need to give blood less frequent. Ai sighed, wondering if she would have a roomate this year, and opened the door, grabbing her bag which was hanging next to it, and putting it over her shoulder. It was also white in color, with pink lining, and a little fluffy character, possibly a dog with wings, hanging on the zipper.

She was not entirely sure who was going to be teaching the class, she was sure though she was going to share the class with highschoolers, of all grades. In the school there were classes in which mixed all the grades, even the college students. She didn't mind this, though sometimes it was hard to get a long with some of the students while in class - not that she really ever needed to unless bothered with something though. Ai's long white hair flowed behind her as she walked, as did long pink strands of ribbon from the bow on her head, which somewhat reached her knees. She had the oddest childish style, or so most said. One would not think her a college student, not unless they knew her, and she was a loner anyways who also talked like a little girl. "I can do this..." she mumbled to herself, not feeling too well.

Viktor Akunin nearly found himself breathing a sigh of relief as he looked out the window and was greeted not by the cursed rays of his enemy, the sun--but by the familiar sight of rain fiercely shrieking down from the heavens, accompanied by thunder clashing like metal against metal and forks of lightning splitting the ashen sky. Viktor was by no means a big fan of rain, but anything was better than having the sun in the sky--having to ensure he was back indoors within half an hour (assuming he had recently fed) was always something of a bother. And it wasn't like there was much going on during the night when Viktor found himself having a chance to get out into the outdoors without having to worry about how long he'd been out and how quickly he could get back indoors.

But it was the start of a new year. To anyone else, anyone who was of a rather superstitious ilk, starting off the next school year (which for Viktor may as well have just been a completely new year overall) with rain and thunder would have seemed a rather ominous portent--but to a vampire it would seem more like a harbinger of better things to come. Not that Viktor cared. He was quite content with the way his life was now--never a man who took well to change, whether it be good or bad. If he got a roommate, definitely a bad change, that much was for certain.

Turning away from the window, Viktor began walking towards his next class. Self Control. The vampire did not much like the thought of having to take a class to learn how to keep his own damn self in check, but after the last incident...well, let's just say he didn't really have a choice if he wanted to stay in the Academy. And anyway, he was quite determined to make sure that, in times of great hunger, he could ensure he was not a danger to himself or others--he was only disappointed that he could not manage it himself, that he needed some damn class to 'teach' him how to do it.

Striding into the classroom, Viktor paused momentarily before noticing a familiar sight not far away--a young woman who could have appeared to be no more than a young girl, with hair of complete, ethereal white and wearing clothes that, Viktor knew, just about one person in total wore around this school. He walked towards the girl, greeting her with a raised hand.

"I see they saw fit to stick you in this class as well, Ai...er, or did you sign up of your own will?" he quickly corrected his mistake, realising he should not want to come off as though he didn't want to learn to keep his vampirism under stringent control. Almost as if on cue with the thought, his eyes trailed off to a nearby girl jabbering rather animatedly with a number of friends--looking very lively and emotive. A small flash of blood-red crimson crossed his dull black eyes as his mind trailed to the thought of his fangs buried into her neck, delighting in the taste of her warm blood as it flowed past his fangs and down his throat...

It was a split second's thought, one which Viktor hurriedly dispelled with a shake of his head. And yet you still complain about the necessity of having this class...I guess this just proves their point even further.

"Five more minutes...." Kishin grumbled as he drooled, half-asleep, in bed.
"You said that twenty minutes ago! Get up, Kishin, or I'll throw you out myself!" Sasha stood at the side of the bed with his hands on his hips. Kishin groaned and turned over.
"I dun wanna....can we skip school today? I'm tired." Kishin hugged the cold side of the pillow, his drool beginning to pool without him realising it. If Sasha would just leave him alone, he could get back to that dream. That wonderful dream.....
pocky...sweet, delicious pocky...mountains of it....teachers begging for homework....
"It's the first day of school! We can't skip! Kishin, are you even listening?!?"
Pocky-flavored homework.......mountains of teachers.......
"Oh look, Kishin, I have your hat. Oh my, it seems to be raining as well." Sasha grabbed Kishin's hat from his bedside, then opened the window, the cold air from the rain blowing on Kishin's face. "Oh noooo," He said theatrically, holding Kishin's hat dangerously close to the rain, "the wind is going to blow your hat right out of my hands. Whatever will I do? There's no way I'll be able to stop it from getting all wet and dirty from the rain~"
Kishin snapped open his eyes to see his hat apparently in danger. "NOOOO!!!!" He lept out of bed, practically tackling Sasha in a desperate attempt to get his hat. Sasha held his hat up just out of Kishin's reach. "Good." Sasha smiled as he told him, "Now that you're up, would you mind getting ready? We're running late as it is, so until you're done getting ready I will be holding this hostage."
Kishin glared at him. Since Sasha was the stronger one, he knew he couldn't get his hat back forcefully. "You're evil. Blackmailing me with my own hat...." He grumbled as he shuffled off, lazily putting on his usual outfit. Then he went into the bathroom, brushed his teeth, and combed his hair even though his hat would just mess up his hair anyway. "Done. Can I have my hat back now, oh evil hat-napper?" Sasha happily nodded and handed it to him. Kishin jerked it out of his hands and lovingly put it on. He grabbed his bag and an umbrella. "Let's go, since you're so friggin' eager to start another year." Kishin grumbled as he walked out, opening the umbrella to protect against the rain. Sasha, who had already been ready to go when he tried to wake up Kishin, grabbed his bag and followed.
While they walked to class, they shared the same umbrella. Sasha looked over at him. "Do you not want to be here, Kishin? You know, last year was a lot better than before that. Maybe this year will get even better?"
Kishin shook his head. "I doubt it. They always have the tournaments each year, and I'm always made fun of 'cause I hate going to them. It's so painstakingly obvious that I fail on purpose, even some of the teachers hold a grudge."
Sasha smiled at him. "Hey, you never know, it could be fun! Why don't you try it this year? Heck, I'll even let you borrow Banhammer if you want!" Sasha suggested.
Kishin just scoffed at him as they entered the school, putting the umbrella away as he did so. "Why did you name it that, anyway?" He asked.
"I thought it was funny! Haha, especially since I have no internet skills." Sasha answered, laughing. Kishin just shook his head. Leave it to Sasha to come up with some corny joke and think it was hilarious. Kishin pulled out his schedule out of his bag.
"Self control....do you know where that is, Sasha?" Even though it was Kishin's third year, it was his first time in being in the Self Control class.
"Yeah, of course I do!" Sasha answered, leading the way as they kept going, "I had to take it last year because of my strength, but I ended up failing. So now I get to take it this year too!"
Kishin just sighed. "I already knew that. And could you stop being so...optimistic? It's getting annoying." Kishin told him. Sasha just smiled like he usually does.
"But Kishin, this means I get to take the class with you! Isn't that great? Oh yeah! And don't forget...." Sasha trailed off as they finally reached the Self Control classroom, "We have to set up for the Music Club today! Don't let me forget!" Sasha opened the door to the classroom, both of them stepping in at the same time.

#, as written by Nyxeth
Nyx was tired, hungry and worst of all, annoyed by his own span of perspective. Entering a new semester as a freshman had involved a lot of choices which by and large involved changes, changes to his sleeping schedule, changes to his dorm assignments and generally changes to minor aspects in life which disrupted his carefully laid ideas of what, where and when he can, is and will do at any given point. "Why are the dorms so far away...?" he bemoaned as his feet carried him swiftly over the sodden campus ground as the raid relentlessly beat down on the ground from above. Nyx could yet to remember the last time the academy had a decent day of weather, then again he guessed the vampires were bribing the wizards and magicians to keep some form of perpetual twilight going to avoid the rashes they could get. Oh how he chuckled at the thought.

The reason he was grumbling about going towards the dorms was that for some odd and illogical reasoning the faculty body had opted to remove him from his solo accommodations, which involved him going to the administration wing for a nice 'chat' with the Deputy-Dean and after a rather succinct explanation, he then had to trudge back. In the morning. Nyx hoped he wasn't the only one who saw the problem with this as classes were promptly starting in say... the next, now?

Getting a move on, Nyx spared no time as he reached the apparent room he would be sharing for the next few years and promptly shoving it open only to toss his cargo bag of possessions by the door before closing it and breaking into an all out sprint towards the classrooms. "Hey, no runn-" were words he faintly heard as his charge left a veritable slipstream behind himself causing papers to fly from the hands of any of those with a loose enough hold on them. As Nyx's feet beat upon the laminate flooring of the dorm corridors, he idly mused the fact he should of found out his dorm partner's name from the Deputy before going there.

Sliding to a halt upon reaching the dorm exit and the campus grounds, he decided a walking pace would be prudent here as flying mud and dirt from his heels beating the ground wouldn't do well for his clothing, he didn't have many pairs of clothes and in earnest most of them looked the same for convenience. Luckily, the move to the classroom block was not nearly as far as the gap between the dorm and the administration building had been, with the odd turn on the path and a minute or so of walking he once again found himself out of the rain and into the veritable fire as students of all types shoved, crowded and milled their way to the morning classes.

Honestly it still amused the hellhound in a number of ways how beings such as vampires, werewolves and their ilk were all crammed into a school of all places. 'Learning to be human', the Dean had put it to him when he joined some years ago. His own class was relatively straight forward to find and arguably the most important in the long run for a lot of the people here, Self Control or the art of 'not grabbing the nearest human and taking a bite out of them' to the majority of the student body. By most standards Nyx had a relatively high level of self control, however his demonblood at times could rage for a level of violence he was somewhat sickened by and he felt if he ever wanted to fit back into society he'd want to quell that urge before he had a state wide police search on his head.

As he slid into the classroom, his eyes fell upon the students already there - some familiar, such as Ai, Kishin and his compadre, Sasha and some unfamiliar, like the majority of the class which he assumed had all been in a different class circuit than his in the High School years. Glancing about nervously for an available seat, he grimaced slightly as one of the few remaining ones was located smack near the centre of the room which he reluctantly parked himself in, it wasn't so much being around people that did this to him but more their reactions to him being around, he was bad blood by most peoples standards. With that in mind, Nyx rested his arm on his desk and his chin on his palm as he awaited the start of the new academic year.

---

Joseph was thrilled, utterly and completely thrilled at the prospect of the new academic year due to both old and new faces. The student orientation had just taken place earlier that morning for many of the new students - high school and up - which Joseph had spent some moments passionately explaining the concept of merging with the common society and the dangers people need to look for. Some mumbles could be heard in response to his presence and those either informed of matters of merely acute of his nature would realise and be surprised by the fact Joseph was a pure human. Yup, human, amidst a school of monsters and creatures of the night Joseph was one of the few beings not of the occult, in fact he was much much worse in the opinions of many. He was a teacher.

A splendid teacher he was, everyone came to see him for help at some point, either for his opinion, his advice or his professional help as a certified psychologist of the supernatural, Joseph had a way with being able to talk people out of their own troubles into a better perspective of things and it was these skills he employed in classes. Primarily a teacher of the mind, Joseph's curriculum of study involved teaching psychology, human social studies - as one of the few human faculty, this was a given - self control and adaptation. On the latter two he talked more of the mindset behind either than the application which was covered by another tutor more versed in the occult.

He was so pleasantly bemused by the new academic year that the rain which he usually found displeasing couldn't take his smile from him - if only for the fact it was difficult as sin to smoke in the rain. Entering the classroom block of the school, Joseph's height, whilst nothing major still gave him an advantage over the milling teenage sized runts who were in the corridor which allowed him to part the sea as it were to reach his room on time - honestly, a teacher being late for his first class of the year! the nerve. Following in one of his near late students, the teacher managed to get into the room moments before the bell reverberated about the building and with an extended hand, he closed the classroom door behind himself and filtered out much of the corridor noise from the room.

Turning to the electronic screen that had recently replaced the chalkboard, Joseph promptly grabbed one of the stylus pens for use on it and wrote his name whilst the class shuffled to their seats behind him. Turning to face them, Joseph took a sidestep so his fluid and scriptic hand-writing was on display, amusedly he had underlined his name and written 'HUMAN' below it. "Welcome everyone to the start of your freshman life in the Academy, my name is as apparent, Joseph Fox, you may call me Mr Fox, Fox or if you are feeling particularly bemused, Lancelot - it is my middle name after all. Some of you I recognise from the previous years and some I do not, for the benefit of those I have not taught I wish to explain a little about my nature and the nature of your time under me".

Positioning himself on the front of his desk, Joseph leaned forward with his palms together as he spoke his piece, "As a human of supernatural background, I come from a unique position of knowing the plight of your kind - all of your kinds - and their difficulty in fitting in with advancing society, the move from traditionalism planet wide has made it more difficult with each passing year for the occult to thrive, gone are the days of vampires prowling the night or the wolves howling at the moon. With the digital technology on the rise practically everyone in the world has a video camera in their pocket."

"With that in mind...", he continued, "It will be my job not only as a human but as one with earnest sympathy and your interest at heart to make sure you as people - not just as beings of the occult - can fit in when the time comes.", standing up and moving back to the digital board, Joseph tapped away at the computer that fed it information and promptly grabbed a clicker device. With the clicker in hand, he began to move about the desks of the classroom and seemingly began moving onto the topic at hand, "For those who studied under me before, many of you may find this material familiar as I thought a refresher was in order for those who did not learn under me". With a press of the clicker, a slideshow of images of varying acts of depravity perpetrated by the occult began to show, "The human body is a weak thing, unlike many of you who sport increased endurance, the ability to heal or near immortality, we humans can die from the simplest of things... loss of blood", -click- his eyes spanned the room for the vampires amongst the student body, "A blow to the head...", -click- again, to the demons, "... Or a number of other things. I would not be surprised if any of you had urges to do such things over the course of your lives and it is my role as the Self Control teacher to make you able to control your violent outbursts, darker cravings and yourselves as people, not only does this help those around you survive but yourself as a species AND individual. Discretion is the key and without it, your species, whatever it may be, might of died out a long... long time ago".

Jezebel Knox stood silently by the window of her dorm bedroom, her eyes staring out at the pouring rain and frequent flashes of light forking across the sky. With a soft sigh she glanced to the clock beside her bed, barely seeing the time as she moved silently toward the door. She picked up her textbook quickly, closing the door behind her as she left, and made her way outside with the textbook held gently in her arms. The blonde shook out her hair as she walked, albeit very slowly, to her first class. History. She had history first which she found to be such an interesting subject.

She entered the class early, feeling the usual thirst she always hid. Jezebel sighed as she sat at her seat, placing the thick book on the desk in front of her, as she considered when her last 'drink' had been. She stared at the desk as she realized she would need another quite soon before she began to feel sick, but would she be allowed to go find some human to bite or would she be forced to take from an animal. Or.. would she have to find help from a type C vampire, the blood-letters, once more. She put her arms on the desk and lowered her head onto them as she felt her fangs lengthen in anticipation of -- she had to stop thinking about it.

She closed her violet eyes as she waited for her history class to begin.

Re` looked into the mirror on the wall one last time before finally deciding she wasn't going to school today. Simply put, she looked paler than usual and that just screamed sick. If that wasn't the worst part her hair looked like it hadn't been brushed in days, which now that she thought about it she hadn't. Two weeks ago she checked into the medical ward with a case of the common cold. She had only just checked herself out this morning and thus only just arrived at her dorm room, obviously missing her roommate...or that is if she had a room mate. Over kill, right? Not for her, as a matter of fact she used to get stuck in that stuffy room everytime she sneezed. Fortunately they were a little less wary now. Thank god.

Turning around she gazed at her clock, she was gonna be late if she didn't leave now. Oh well. Walking towards her dresser drawer she pulled out a different outfit. Jeans and a random shirt. Throwing it on her bed she changed again, first putting on her dark pair of skinny jeans and then she grabbed the shirt. She looked at it and then her nose twitched. The fabric was colored randomly with hues of red and blue, but was also practically see through. She sifted through her drawers again untill she finally found a decent tank top to wear under it. A red one that gave her cheeks some life. After fully dressing she looked back into the mirror. Much better, now to find a hair brush. That was easy enough to do, it was sitting on her bed. The hard part of all this was actually getting the thing through her long hair. It took approximately twenty minutes and she was positive she had broken plenty of hair strands.

Looking in the mirror once more, she found four hair bands, one was used at the base of her loosely made side-ponytail, and the others were used at different intervals in her long hair to keep it all together. Her bangs were nothing special, just hanging in her eyes. It would have to do. She went through another drawer in her bathroom and found some make up. She used it lightly, she applied cover up and blush to her cheeks and nose and then used some eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadow around her eyes. As if anyone would use them anywhere else.

She wasn't sure she was happy with the way she looked but she couldn't really afford to completely miss her first day of school so she slid her feet into the first pair of shoes she could find grabbed her near empty bookbag and walked out the door. She was greeted with a flash of lightning and a loud crack of thunder and needless to say she jumped back with a slight yelp. It was raining, it hadn't been raining when she arrived and she had been so distracted with looking healthy she hadn't even noticed. Where was her raincoat and umbrella anyways? Did she even have one? The nurses would kill her for walking out in that with nothing to protect herself with since she was overly prone to pnuemonia but she kind of liked the rain. Although she could do without the lightning. Moving the strap of her book bag to her other shoulder she stepped out into the rain. Sure she could have run, but she was prone to getting dizzy when she did that and she was pretty sure passing out in the middle of a thunder storm wasn't the best idea ever.

As she walked to class she realized something that made her feel kind of stupid. She had no clue what her first class was. Somewhere in that abyssmal room she had a schedule but once something enters through those doors they quickly disappeared, in other words she could never find it again. Guess she would have to think seriously on remembering it before she actually reached the school part of the...well the school. As she walked she began counting the number of raindrops that landed on her head, the number of puddles she stepped in, the flashes of lighting, the poudings of thunder untill finally she was getting a serious head ache and decided to stop counting all together. Thank god chemistry was her first class and not math. She stopped walking for a moment, so that was where she was supposed to be going. Interesting. She hated science, maybe she could talk to someone and get out of it.

Ai gave a half hearted smile when Viktor walked into the room, only to have it completely wiped on her face when he asked if she chose this class herself. It was a normal question, but it made her feel a bit of a failure as a vampire, or part vampire, backwards vampire? She didn't know, nor was she sure that anyone did. "One of the teachers recommended me for this class, they said I could not keep..." her childish voice trailed off ever so slowly. She didn't think finishing her sentence with bleeding all over the place, spewing blood all over, or anything of the sort would have been proper to say. When she really thought about it, no one had ever seen her when such a thing occurred, she had become quite good at running out of class at random to do so. Whether or not everyone figured out why she was never sure. Some part of her was glad Viktor was in the class though, something about being in here was unnerving. She almost felt scared. Before she could say anything else to Viktor, his attention so obviously was drawn towards a girl, she frowned a bit, she was pretty sure she could imagine what he was thinking. Not that, it could be helped.

She looked towards the door as more people walked in, the first two she didn't really recognize too well, maybe she saw them walking around some place, always together. One so obviously did not want to be here, the look on the other's face however was completely different. It rather amused her, and made her smile a bit. The third person she did recognize, he went by Nyx, and was in the same college year as her. She didn't remember really ever socializing with him or anything, she had heard things about him, but Ai never liked to listen to the words of the people. The random people who liked to generate what they thought a person was all about. She did remember though, many a time where people told her, sometimes she looked for the good in people that just was not there. Ai sighed and walked towards the front of the room, sadly, where there was only a few seats and sat down.

As the teacher started talking, she almost became dizzy, of course this would happen in Self Control class. She put her hands over her face and tried to listen to the teacher as he talked about things that confused her so. She did remember she had this teacher for other classes as well. This wasn't even a college class, what were his other ones going to be like? She could hear clicking noises, a slide show or something similar perhaps, she pondered the background of this individual. Her face started to burn and she mentally cursed her backwards genetics. She supposed the upside was she had no desire to turn around and bite someone. Ai hadn't even bothered to put down her bag, or even take anything out of it for notes. She was hoping she could just remember everything, and class would magically, fly by really fast. It was not likely, but she thought it might be a bit rude to run out of class so early, and the class that was supposed to help her at that. But she thought perhaps maybe this class is designed for normal vampires, not a defect like her. She wondered how it would help her. Discretion is key she heard him say, it was obviously something she had never really been capable of though. She imagined herself in the position she was in now, hands over her face, face turning red - how discreet of her.

To distract herself she sadly, turned out the teacher. Something she had never done before, she always wanted good marks. She thought about the upcoming tournament, whether she would get to pick her teammates or not, and how many she would have. She wasn't the best offensive fighter, but she had reliable defensive magics. She then wondered what Viktor thought of this class, then who her roommate was, she then thought about home....home...she didn't have a home anymore. She snapped out of her thoughts slightly confused, she remembered nothing of her home, for the sole reason that she had partially had her memory erased by someone close to her. She didn't remember if she asked for it, or if they did it out of their own will. She barely remembered the person because of this as well. Ai was all over the place. She was not going to make it through class there was no way. Ever so slowly she started mentally panicking, looking towards the door every couple of seconds. She had a mental fight with herself whether to dart out or not. It ended on it would be rude, and she didn't want to get into trouble.

It was the break of dawn, of a kind so stereotypical that it features in every television show and romance novel known to man. A boy who looked much younger than his age would otherwise suggest had taken the opportunity to go outside for a walk before settling into the drudgery of the school day - but as Samuel passed by the flowerbed in front of the Administration building, things started to go wrong. The sky changed from an orange-red to pitch black, the necromancer felt himself age 20 years in an instant, and a deep voice called out from beneath the flowerbed:

Rise.

With that, Samuel catapulted out of slumber into the first day of school, which instead happened to be a very rainy day. The teen found that he had overslept and (after dressing himself as quickly as possible in his usual hooded atire) immediately began to run for his first class: Self Control. Unlike most of the other students here, the course had been recommended to Samuel as a way of getting him to open up concerning his powers: Better that you know how to use your powers, his guidance councilor had argued, than to wake up one day finding yourself uncontrollably bringing the dead to life...

Upon opening the door to the class, Samuel was even more mortified to find that the teacher had already started talking. He tried to make his way to the only remaining seat in the class, near the center of the room, without too much fuss. Nevertheless, Samuel could feel the eyes of an entire multitude of inhuman students and an all too human teacher staring at him as he sat down, regardless of whether or not that detail had any basis in reality.

Kishin and Sasha had taken thier seats before the teacher had begun, placing thier bags beside thier chairs.

[Kishin]
Kishin had tried to pay attention to what the teacher was saying, he really did. Before long, he had found himself growing more bored by the minute. Why was he in a self control class, anyway? Even if he was a demon, he didn't really have any superhuman strength to speak of. He didn't have a craving for blood like vampires did, or the need to tear people apart like the werewolves seemed to have. The closest thing he had was his Demonic Rage...and he could never remember what happened afterwards. Self Control class was pretty much pointless because of this. The only reason he was in this class was because Sasha made him. Apparently, he thought that it might help somehow. Oh well. Kishin looked over to the windows, still bored, when something caught his attention. There was a girl sitting near the front of the room who seemed to be freaking out to him, as she kept glancing over at the door and looked like she was panicking about something. Who is that girl, anyway? Oh, wait I think I remember her...I think her name was Ai.... He put his hand under his chin and watched her for a moment. Hm, this looks like fun. Should I keep watching to see what she does, or....?

[Sasha]
Sasha whistled a tune under his breath, happy-go-lucky and oblivious as he could ever be. He was excited about the Music Club, and was already doodling possible logos in his notebook that he had out on his desk. Let's see, I wonder who all will be in the Club this year? I know Kishin will already be in, but that's only 'cause I'll make him join.....it's going to be lonely if it's just the two of us again.... He continued doodling, now just drawing random things as his mind drifted. I'm hungry. Because of Kishin, we both had to skip breakfast today.... He got a sad look on his face as his stomach grumbled.
Sasha was jerked out of his reverie as he heard the class room door opened. He saw Samuel and brightened.Oh look, it's our dormmate! Hi, Samuel! He said mentally, even though no one could hear it. As Samuel passed by to sit at the empty desk, Sasha gave him a smile and a wave hello.

Viktor noticed the already rather forced smile on Ai's face gradually lessen, detecting that something was wrong at hand. When she spoke, she seemed to trail off, not mentioning the exact reason for her being placed in this class--though Viktor was smart enough to put two and two together and hazard a guess that it had something to do with her tendency to go practically flying out of the class at random intervals for whatever reason. Viktor suspected a thing or two about it, but it was none of his business and she clearly wanted it kept to herself--and thus Viktor would respect Ai's wishes.

But before anything more could be said, the class had begun, and the students ferried themselves off to their seats, Viktor taking the nearest one to him. As the teacher began speaking, Viktor could not help but, as he looked up at the human, picture him not as a teacher but as a nice snack--though he was slight of build and none too well built, hardly qualifying for a filling meal...

Dammit. Bad vampire. Viktor had to wonder just how this guy was going to teach him to control himself when it was simply necessary that Viktor drink blood--after all, if he didn't, he would become a danger to anyone around him. And conversely, it wasn't as if anyone was just going to let a vampire drink their blood--especially not a type b vampire as Viktor was, renowned for the sheer horrible pain their bite caused. And yet every day he did not drink he felt himself becoming less and less sure of who he was and gradually more temperamental, more irritable, and eventually violent--and exponentially more powerful every day. It was the reason that, before tourneys, he went a few days without drinking blood, though of course the other reason being that no one was about to let him drink their blood willingly, and Viktor didn't like the fact that he had to drink their blood either.

With a sigh, he glanced over towards Ai, curious about how she was going with this class. She seemed rather uneasy, uncomfortable, as if a rising panic and anxiety were within her--Viktor could guess she was probably holding in whatever caused her to need to burst out of her classes randomly.

Re` finally reached the school building after some slight meandering and losing of one's way. Needless to say she was soaking wet, her hair quite literally had a waterfall streaming down her sticky ponytail. Taking her hand she grabbed the base of said ponytail and pulled it away from her neck, taking her other hand she proceeded to literally ring out her now darker than normal hair. Got to love the rain. Now if only she knew where her chemistry class was, not that she actually wanted to go. As previously mentioned: she hated science, especially chemistry - or rather she assumed she would hate chemistry since that was the class she would have to sit in all year.

As she walked she treaded lightly, the floors were obscenely wet and she quite honestly didn't feel like slipping. Who in their right mind ever felt like slipping? She moved slowly and that bothered her but not enough to make her move any faster, she was smarter than that...most of the time. Yes, there had been one or two occasions when impatience had gotten the best of her, but her life was too short to waste it in an empty hallway. Walking in a semi-random direction she paused momentarily in front of a classroom, something was written on the board and after some slight staring and reading she recognized the class as self-control. Heh, silly vampires and demons. Not everyone can be as in control as she was she supposed.

Why no, she is not a boastful or prideful person.

While still glancing in the classroom she took another step only to feel her foot slide out from under her and the rest of her begin to make its way to the floor. "Crap!"

SMACK, BAM, CLATTER, THWACK. By the time she had hit the floor her stuff, books, head, feet, hands were sprawled out on the floor and she was regaining some form of clear-headedness. Most people would have caught themselves, but sudden movements, especially the up or down kind, made her light headed and dizzy so she never could catch herself. Gathering her stuff and rubbing her tush she stood back up with some form of composure. A pretty big deal if you ask her. As far as she could tell no one saw or heard her, thank god. She would never hear the end of it and then be forced to kick someone's ass.

It didn't take long for her to finally rush off, or rather trudge off. She didn't plan on taking another tumble. However, she was most definately fast enough to avoid being seen, once again she thanked whatever it was she should be thanking.

Sweat pouring down her forehead, she snapped up in bed with a cry, as thunder clashed nearby. She spit out a sigh of relief, panting. Just a dream. Just. A. Dream. She repeated to herself. Gah. What was with those things lately? She looked at the time, glad she didn't have a morning class today. She walked to her closet and grabbed a gray, baggy shirt with three-quarter sleeves. She threw it on and it hung off one of her shoulders. A pair of leggings were tossed onto the end of her bed, she put those on too. Her hair was the next step to tackle--YUCK! She quickly braided it to a side. And tied the end in a purple bow.

As she went for a walk in the rain, a song stuck in her head, made it all the way down to her bare feet. This was often a trouble for Amelia. She couldn't keep her feet still. She counted out the steps in her head, one-two-hand flick-four. . . On and on she went. Loosing track of where she was and what time it was. One-and-stomp on two. She could dance endlessly for hours, but those hours were cut short when she bumped into someone, Mumbling a 'sorry'. She hurried off. This time with a destination, the lunch room. Her stomach was yelling to be fed. when she entered she shook of most of the water like a dog. She grabbed an apple and sat in the table to the far corner. She took a bite, and apple juice ran down chin. She wiped it with her wrist. What to do today? Her aching muscles answered that. Amelia tossed the rest of the apple and headed to the woods.

She found a branch hanging just above eye level and scanned the area quickly, no one. Good. She placed her clothes up on the branch and quickly made the transformation. Starting from her head, she shook out the kinks in her muscles , all the way to her tail. She let out a raspy howl, She hadn't made the change in a while. Here at the school, She found herself alone quite a bit. It was hard to not be so alone. She stressed about her family back home, Why wasn't she getting their letters?! She ran and pounced, rolling around. Driving her self crazy in her mind.

"... And that is why you all need to be careful..." the teacher trailed on as Nyx continued to 'listen' as much as half the class did, for Nyx this class had been compulsory rather than optional in his college line-up choice and at a relatively open guess he assumed that applied to many of those present as the class comprised mostly of the types who frequently caused mischief. Vampires, demons, werewolves. He could understand why this class was required of him, however having heard much of this before in the earlier years he simply couldn't make himself listen to it again.

As such his thoughts turned inwards on themselves as he began to mentally check off random tid-bits of knowledge to file away in the archives of his mind or to draw some out from a likewise position, such as the fact he wouldn't actually get to the classes he wanted to do until the weekend. Great. Physical activity was a must for Nyx, if not for his want to exert himself but also for a primal need to in order to quench a burning rage that could burst through the surface of his personality at any given point. As a half-demon, Nyx has by and large inherited much of his demon heritage; strength, speed, power and their rage that lay beneath the skin, however without being a full demon he can lack the required control over his own rage which can leave him - but mainly those around him - in a dangerous situation.

With that thought framed in his mind, Nyx honestly wondered what bringing himself into filled classrooms would accomplish if only raise the body count if his demon blood decided to go for a nice bloodbath or two.

Nyx realised having delved into his own thought that he had completely ignored what the teacher had been saying as he withdrew his hands from the edges of his desk he had been gripping and by appearances, breaking off as splinters fell from his hands and hard cracks in the desk edges were revealed. "Shit...", he muttered under his breath as he cleared his hands of a few fragments of wood; he didn't realise he'd been gripping the desk so hard and in an effort to turn his mind away from the brooding fact of his own actions he began to glance around the room - an act the teacher was doing as well.

---

"... And that is why you all need to be careful, self control isn't just over your powers, it is over your impulses and what instincts drive you to act", Joseph spoke as he finally turned off the slide show to the relief of some of the students, the images had grown rather graphic towards the end and despite the class room being filled with monsters of all descriptions, a lot of them were pretty weak stomached. Sitting back upon his desk and entwining his fingers together in his lap, Joseph idly waited a moment for his words to sink in before continuing on a different tangent.

"Many of you have been put in this class due to your inability to pass the basic levels of self control required to integrate into human society, as you might of gathered without being able to integrate you will become socially excluded and reclusive in the world wide occult community to preserve what secrecy exists". Glancing across the faces in the class, Joseph continued in his slightly more serious tone than his rambling earlier speech had been in, "As your teacher and also as someone who does honestly care about each and every one of you, it will be my role to make sure you are able to control yourselves over the next few years you are college students here".

Standing back up, Joseph spent the next few moments retrieving a stack of papers from the case he had brought with him into the classroom which he then began to distribute amongst the students, "As a more practical learning class, you won't be required to submit essays or much homework here, however you will at times, like now need to submit information to me so I can change the exercises we'll be undergoing for each of you. Understandably you all have different drives, urges, strengths and weaknesses and as such one solution may work for one person but not the next".

The sheet itself was fairly simple, aside from the basic information such as name, species and gender; it also asked for the student's day to day likes, dislikes and phobias along with trivia such as favourite and least liked food, peoples personalities, even which species the student liked or disliked. "The first step to helping you is you helping yourselves, so I'd like all the sheets returned with the information on it - and don't worry, what goes on it will be a secret between me and each of you", he finished explaining as he worked his way down the stack. Reaching a desk in the middle, he glanced down at the student in the seat before softly speaking, "Are you ok Miss Ismene? - If you wish to excuse yourself from the class then go right ahead". Continuing to move through the desks, Joseph deposited the last of the papers upon each one before clapping his hands loudly and proclaiming, "I want you all to fill this in and return it to my desk, once you have you are free to go early while I prepare the material for your next class with me".

At that, Joseph returned - or correctly speaking, went to for the first time - to his seat behind his desk, with his keister parked on the uncomfortable seat he began to idly scratch away with a pen on a teacher's diary of some description. Akunin: Vampiric urges firmly rooted, Ismene: Difficulty controlling blood expunging, Narrus: Aggressive bloodline dominant still. Along with a number of other student names and details Joseph had caught while the students were unaware, even small nervous tics and minor actions were readable when placed under circumstance to the man.

For a moment Ai could swear she felt the eyes of some of the students on her. She wouldn't be surprised if she was right, but she wasn't too much bothered with it at the moment. She tried ever so hard to listen to the teacher as he was talking about papers to fill out, information about them, perhaps so he could understand and teach them better. There was a part of her that did hope something in her could be fixed, but a large part of her said that it was not possible. In addition to her feeling nauseous, and having that general it's about to happen type feeling, she started trembling and feeling quite weak. This was possibly due to her effort to hold everything in, around this moment the teacher came by, asking her if she was alright, saying she could excuse herself. She felt relieved, but realized, it was probably already too late. She was even against moving now. Anything that would break her concentration, anything in the slightest, she just wasn't strong enough to hold it back anymore. Was she even meant to do so in the first place? She pondered if it was unhealthy for her, it was too bad she was the only of her kind, no one could answer her questions.

From the corner of her eye, she saw what appeared to be a girl gathering items and getting up from perhaps tripping, she looked over towards her just for a second...and that was her mistake. Almost as if to hold back vomiting, she gagged and quickly covered a mouthful of blood and this was when she darted towards the door of the classroom. She would just run out of the room, run outside or to the bathroom, just as usual. Or that would have been the idea thing, but she did not make it. Ai was shaking so bad she was unable to stabilize herself, her legs fell out from under her right before the doorway and just as they did so, she let out what could either be assumed as a cough or a sneeze or perhaps both. In doing so, a massive amount of blood spewed from both her nose and her mouth, plastering itself all over the wall in front of her. As she hit the floor knees first, she continued to cough, and in each time doing so coughing up large amounts of blood. Embarrassed, humiliated, and quite ashamed, she did something quite stupid though perhaps out of reflex, and tried to cover her mouth, only making the blood run down her arms.

She leaned forward now on her hands and knees, coughing up whatever blood was left. It had never happened before, that she coughed up blood after letting so much out, it was perhaps due to her holding so much back, that she coughed up her normal blood aside from extra generated blood. She started to have blood profusely running from her nose, as if having been broken. Her face burned as if blushing, but she was doing nothing of the sort. She was still trembling, and now had her eyes watering, her eyes were bloodshot. The area around her looked like it could have been something out of a horror scene. Someone on the floor, in a puddle of their own blood, and blood all over the wall as if having been hacked and slashed at. But Ai was in one piece, and if anything, was just scared. A little tired maybe...or perhaps a lot tired.

She soon stopped her fit of blood spewing, and reluctantly, looked towards the class. She was so embarrassed, she found herself crying. She had blood on the top of her dress, as well as the bottom, having soaked up whatever was on the floor. Her white hair was also soaking up the blood and appeared slightly stained in the middle. She felt slightly light headed, which technically never happened before. She wanted to just curl up into a ball and dissapear. Even though she was looking towards the class she wasn't really looking at anyone. It was like she didn't see anyone there. They now knew what sort of abomination of a vampire she was, if she could even be referred to one by a normal vampire. She waited for someone to laugh, or and this occurred to her just now, run at her for her blood. Even as she thought this, she still sat there and cried. She felt like such as failure, she could not even make it out of the room, and she could not 'control' herself, like she was apparently wanted to.

"I...I'm sorry."

[Kishin]

Kishin kept watching her, seeing her tremble like some kind of volcano that was about to erupt. He absentmindedly took the paper that the teacher gave out, not even bothering to even try to fill it out. This is gunna be good.... Kishin smirked, waiting for her to explode or something. Sure enough, she tried to run out of the room, but didn't quite make it. Just like the rest of the class, Kishin stared at her while she coughed up a large amount of blood.
Why didn't she run out before...? Unable to stop himself, he began to giggle. Soon enough, he was full-out laughing. It wasn't a condescending laugh, he actually found the situation plain-out comical. He had to hold his side, he was laughing so much.

[Sasha]

Sasha had been filling out the sheet the teacher had given, his attention focused solely on it. He didn't even notice Ai's predicament, not even hearing her cough. Favorite food....beef stew, of course! Ability...I guess you could say I have super-strength, or something like that. Fears....hm....
Suddenly, something caught his complete and full attenion. It was the sound of laughter, but not just any laughter. It was the laughter of someone he knew very well....Sasha turned around to see Kishin practically rolling in laughter, and a cute girl sitting in pool of blood, crying. Sasha didn't really get what happened, but he was angry all the same. Sasha stood up.
"Kishin!" He barked sharply at him. Kishin was still giggling as he tried to answer, but was cut off as Sasha stomped up and grabbed him by the scruff of his neck. Sasha was practically steaming and he carried Kishin over to the girl on the ground. Sasha was taller than he was, so it was easy for him to carry Kishin like that. Kishin looked something like a puppy dog, being carried by the scruff of his neck with that annoyed look on his face.
"Apologise!"
"What the hell, Sasha!?"
Sasha, still lifting Kishin by the scruff of his neck, turned him to look him in the eye. "Do you know how you've made this girl feel? Look at her! She's crying! If you don't apologise RIGHT NOW, I swear that I will kick you straight out of that open window!" He told him, indicating an open window behind them, glaring at Kishin.
"Wait Sasha, that's going a little too far, don't you think? I mean-"
Sasha's eye twitched in anger. He turned around towards the open window. Practically growling, he lightly threw Kishin up in the air and lifted back his leg. Just like a football, Sasha punt-kicked him straight out the window, the force of it sending him far out of sight. "You, of all people, should know what it's like to get laughed at, you fool! Don't come back until you can be nicer!" Sasha yelled out as he had kicked him. Sasha, still shaking with anger, turned back to the girl.
He took a deep breath, getting his shaking under control. He bowed to her. "Please forgive my friend. He can be an idiot sometimes." Sasha straightened up and kneeled down to her, holding out his hand. "Are you all right?" He asked her, concerned. "Would you like me to escort you to the infirmary?"

Viktor looked boredly down at the questionnaire the teacher handed out. Inconsequential information such as preferred foods accompanied with interesting little questions such as fears and species that the students liked or disliked. On the whole, it seemed to Viktor rather a pointless little thing. Nevertheless, having nothing better to do after all, he filled out the entire thing. Favourite food: blood. What else would a vampire write down? As for species' Viktor disliked, well...to be honest, he'd never been a big fan of succubi and incubi, given their ability to control most people (Viktor, having his ability to resist such effects when at full power, was not so much in this category, but it still irritated him); despite this, however, he tried to keep himself from prejudice and racism, acknowledging that it wasn't true that all succubi and incubi were going to use their powers on anyone and anytime they wished.

Then he heard a sound nearby. Turning, he saw Ai suddenly stand up and dart towards the door, collapsing before she could reach it. As she did so, copious amounts of blood suddenly burst from her, from her mouth and her nose. His eyes widened and his mouth fell open as the scene unfolded. She fell to the floor, coughing up blood, causing it to run down her arms. Viktor stared horrified; Ai was sitting in a vast puddle of her own blood, which also painted the walls and her body, crying weakly and stuttering an apology. He was about to walk forward to help her when he heard something.

It started as a small giggle that burst out into a laugh. Before he even knew who it was Viktor felt rage starting to bubble up in his surface--the fact that he hadn't drank blood in days wasn't about to help his anger. Turning around with his teeth bared and his fangs flashing, he saw the offender to be Kishin Okurimono.

But even as Viktor was preparing to commit an act of great violence, someone else did it for him(well, not nearly as violent as Viktor was planning, but then again this person was not a hungry type B vampire); he watched as the one whom he knew to be related somehow to Kishin, named Sasha, promptly drop-kicked Kishin out the window. Viktor could not help but grin in a humourless, sadistic manner. "Asshole deserved that and more..." he muttered darkly, before turning to Ai, whom the other man was already moving towards to help.

"I'll help too," Viktor stated, a bit ashamed he had not been the first to come to Ai's aid.

As Ai promptly leapt to leave the classroom and then suddenly began to expunge her vampiric blood, Joseph whilst not surprised - as he had gathered such a fit was incoming - he was still disturbed at the quantity as any 'sane' person might be. Like a row of dominoes though, the initial action planted a seed of chaos amongst the class as laughter echoed only to suddenly be interrupted by the shattering of glass. Such events were common in this school to a point, however Joseph's goal was to move them beyond such primal ways of handling matters.

Chaos promptly ensued the classroom as people jostled to look out the window, then shoved and began throws fists and claws at one another in an attempt to get the best spot, in seconds the class had moved past looking at the damage caused by others to inflicting their own and unlike other supernatural teachers, Joseph lacked the ability to man handle them all in line. Muttering to himself as he combed his hair back with his fingers, "I was expecting this, but not on the first day...". Glancing aside, Joseph cast his glance to Viktor, Sasha and Ai before speaking abruptly over the din, "You two, take her to the infirmary and tell the nurse what happened and Sasha, I'd like to speak with you after you've done that".

Dodging a desk that had been unceremoniously tossed across the classroom, Joseph rubbed his temples as he looked back to the class and began to record the faces of the students fighting and those that were not. For the most part they were all accounted for, some had slipped out in the ruckus but he noted that those were the quieter ones - the growing stack of papers on his desk made him assume the ones wishing to avoid the brawl were escaping while they still could. Glancing across the faces again and leafing through the papers, he noted all the people missing from the room had turned them in except for two people which surprised him.

Well, partly. Kishin had flown out the window before he could turn it in and the other was... Nyx? He had expected him to be in the centre of the brawl. "Where did he go...?"

---

Nyx was a moving blur as he leapt out the broken window and sprinted in the direction Kishin had flown - and he had flown much further than Nyx had expected Sasha to be capable of, a fact he quietly deposited in the back of his mind in case he ever had a fight with the guardian. Kishin had been launched in the direction of the woods, an area which encompassed much of the eastern area of the Academy grounds and whilst safe for the most part the deeper areas weren't the most friendly of places. In fact due to the proximity of the edge of the woods, Nyx half expected to see him caught up in a branch somewhere.

With one eye on the ground and the other on the tree tops, Nyx rapidly slowed down to a average - human - running pace as he began scouring the area. Now in earnest, Nyx didn't know the victim of Sasha personally, they might of exchanged words or glanced at each other in the past across lessons but by all other regards they were strangers to each other. So why might he want to help him? Well truthfully Nyx was bored and as much as the classroom scrap seemed interesting he honestly didn't want to risk being shoved out of Self-Control group due to his, ah, issues.

So keeping that in mind or at least trying to Nyx made some distance into the woods before his train of thought was completely run off its tracks by a sound that goes through you like electric current, sensational yet literally, shocking. The sound repeated continuously and it took Nyx a moment to clear his over-sensitive ears before realising he had heard howling and with each step he took further in, it only grew louder. "Wolves?", Nyx idly mused before shaking his head, "It isn't winter yet, they only come here then... so...", piecing the puzzle together as he rounded a particularly large tree and gave a wry grin.

Near the base of the next tree was a majestic black wolf but not of the normal kind he had presumed earlier, the eddies of occult energy that swirled about it in his vision gave Nyx ample understanding that it was a werewolf. At the sight of the werewolf - Amelia, not that Nyx knew - his thoughts of finding Kishin had vanished in the wind as he stared on at her. Nyx by and large had always found a relation to the werewolves despite the lack of blood he shared with them, he was worlds apart from true demons and he was more like their kind, of internal beasts and impulses and a strong pack mentality infused in him by his early days of survival. In earnest, he wished he was one at times so he could relate further.

Still, as what he was and how the werewolves often acted left a void in his contact with their kind, he was naturally reviled and they were commonly reclusive to all but their own kind due to their instinctual 'pack mentality'. Due to this, Nyx was unsure how to interact with Amelia as time passed until he decided to break his standing silence with a tentative wave at the she-wolf which he doubted had not noticed him by now and with an equally tentative, if not shaky voice. "Hey, it isn't often your kind is out alone like this".

Amelia's ears perked up when she heard glass shattering in the distance. What was that? She turned to the sound, about to investigate, when she saw Kishin flying over head. What is going on?! She debated what to do, go see the commotion back in the direction of the school, or go farther into the woods and see if Kishin was okay. The choice was made for her when a muffled voice in the forest reached her alert ears. She turned to the direction, puzzled only to see a boy she hadn't met yet. At least, she didn't think she knew him.

Amelia nodded her head towards the guy. She was always unsure how to attempt communication as a wolf, to those whom simply didn't know the language. She left out a soft sigh at the difficulty of the issue. She had never really ran into this issue like this before.

An idea flew into her head, she simply would try to project her words to him. She didn't know how it would work, it usually was only emotions she could do, or let other she saw as she was seeing. She closed her eyes briefly and tried her hardest to do her little 'magic'. She concentrated hoping the 3 plain words 'hold on, please' would get through. In the end, She wasn't sure if she sent any of her current emotions of loneliness, and the lingering hint of betray that laid in her heart.

She turned from him and ran to the sight she left her clothes, quickly transforming back to human, and leaping into the clothes. Amelia ran back quickly to the spot she left the boy at. Hoping that the message didn't get screwy in translation, or that he got any of her emotions. Before she was even able to get to where she could see if he was still there, she was calling out an apology; "I'm sorry, It's difficult to talk to humans er, -superhumans? " she tried to correct herself, but still was unsure if she was right. "when I'm a wolf." She finished.

When she had heard the laughter from one particular student, she couldn't help but bawl more. She just wanted to dissapear, the person was laughing so hard it looked like they might be a little bit of pain. As Ai directed her attention elsewhere, trying to find something to help clean her mess up, she heard one of the students shouting at another. As she turned, she saw the student whom had been laughing at her, being held up by another student who was demanding an apology from him. The student seemed to not want to do so however, and before she knew it, he had been kicked straight out of the window. She sat in bewilderment for a moment, she was sure how to react, the boy then reached out his hand to her asking if he could help her up. She flushed a bit, the thought of getting a mess of blood on him should she take his hand immediately popping into her head. Just then, Viktor started walking up to her and then it was like within an instant all hell broke loose.

Everyone was fighting for window spots, then fighting eachother, a desk flew across the room towards the teacher who thank goodness dodged it somehow. She had caused this to happen, she felt so bad, the first day of school as well. Reluctantly she took the boy's hand, a weak grip upon it though he pulled her up easily. As soon as she was up however, she had to cling onto the nearest person, being the boy for support as to not fall again but for having lost too much blood. Something made her think that student which had literally been kicked out the window, knew the boy whom was next to her now. "Is he...going to be okay?" she asked, genuinely concered about his wellbeing. As she did so, she noticed a lot of the blood from her dress and arms was now sponging off onto him. Immediately she let go of him and forced herself to stand up, though slightly hunched over.

The teacher had told them to take her to the infirmary, and she really didn't want to go. They would probably poke an IV in her and possibly give her a packet of blood or so. Which technically was the last thing they should do, but not many people knew anything of type C vampires. Giving her blood would probably make her explode again so to speak, and it slightly scared her. Technically, she could get away with just rest, but she didn't want to do so too long because then she would miss the tournament. It just dawned on her then, the tournament, she could not be weak for the tournament, she had to be useful for her team, and she could not be absent for it and dissapoint them, whoever they would be. Ai also remembered that paper in which she was supposed to fill out, she hadn't even gotten her name on there, she wondered if the teacher knew hers was missing. She had seen some people turn them in. "I need to fill in my paper...I never got the chance to do it." She didn't want to miss turning something in on the first day, even if it was just a simple paper, but she figured the teacher had a good reason for asking them to fill it out. Especially because of what happened to her. She looked behined her at the wall, leaning against a desk to stablize herself as she did so. It was all her fault.

The chain of chaos which started was bothering her, she looked at the teacher wondering if he was going to be attacked by someone, if another desk was going to fly at him, or something similar. She wasn't able to stand anymore getting a bit dizzy, and slid down to the floor against the desk. Is the teacher, going to be okay here?" she asked in a hushed voice. After having asked, she completely passed out.

Honestly, Re` was definately not stalling she was almost truly lost. Except she wasn't, she knew exactly where she was. Right back where she started. This was one of the things that she hated about this school, it was most definately a giant maze. She had been going her for three years now and she still had an inability to find the classroom she needed to get to. However, in some ways that was by choice, she chose not to remember since she really didn't want to go to said class. It was both genius and stupidity, though it is not suggested that you tell her that it was stupid since she would most definately feel insulted and blast you to the otherside of the room -as is custom-.

She quickly decided that she was going outside, why? For a change of scenery. If she was going to be lost and somewhat confused she might as well do it somewhere she would like to actually be. Not that she wanted to be in the rain but her desire to leave the school building was much greater than her desire to avoid the rain. Sure some might be a little wary about skipping their first class of the day but quite honestly she had grown to stop caring two years ago. Opening the door and walking back out into the rain she began to walk around the school building. There was a window open and it appeared to be the window of the self-control class. She walked by it, unnoticed fortunately. She stopped abruptly though at the outbreak of laughter that began to be emitted fromt he room, and then from the sounds of it sheer chaos. What in the world is going on in there? she thought before walking over to the window to peer in, she did so in such a way to remain as unnoticed as possible. Her jaw dropped a little at the sight before her. Someone, specifically the blond girl, had lost quite a bit of blood and from the looks of things she had thrown it up. Re` could hardly see the humor in something like that.

Some blonde guy, who was seemingly angry, almost to literally 'football' punted the guy who was laughing out of the room. Now that there was funny. She watched the guy fly through the air holding back chuckles, some other guy seemed to leave the building too but she wasn't sure, whatever it was was moving much to fast for her eyes to keep up with. Re` stared at the path the punted guy had flown and wondered if she should at least make sure he wasn't dead, the rememberence of the blonde guy kicking him brought more chuckles to mind. Somehow that seemed like a class she could not only find but actually enjoy. After a moment of thought she decided to see if she could find him, with her healing abilities she might be able to save his life if he was on the verge of death, if not she could laugh at his face. Both options were on her bucket list.

The thought of her list brought to mind morbid thoughts and she quickly pushed them to the back of her head. She was in a good mood and she didn't really feel like ruining that, for once she wanted to think about things that would actually keep her happy, she at least deserved that...right? She meandered through the rain in the general direction of the flying, demon she assumed. It was a zig zag path not a straight one but the trees were slightly dense and she wanted to stay in an area with decent cover.

Once she heard voices, a girl and a guy. She peered around a tree once but saw that they were neither the dude she wanted to either laugh at or heal. However, she was pretty sure the guy was the obscenely fast blurr that she had barely noticed. Shrugging it off she left the area, she wasn't quiet but she doubted they would care enought to check out who she was, or why she wasn't in class of that matter.

After a while she decided that the blonde guy was the last person she wanted kicking her. He was powerful to have been able to kick the demon this far. She debated what kind of creature he was, obviously not human. Demon perhaps? Probably. She didn't really get as good a look as she might have wanted but she could always catch a glimps later if she was still curious. It was doubtful she would be, although that was so funny it was doubtful she would ever forget it happening. It is a once in a life time thing to see someone literally punt someone else out of the window. The memory brought more chuckles to mind. She wondered for a minute if she was still headed in the right direction. An unspoken decision was made there and then, if she didn't find him she was turning back around and heading back to the school, after all she really couldn't afford to catch another cold.

It took about another thirty seconds for her to decide this wasn't worth the trouble, especially since she was positive she was going in the wrong direction. So she turned around and was immediately greeted with a powerful gale of wind, which almost blew her over but she held her own. Up untill she got slapped in the face by what appeared to be a hat, she of course caught it afterwards intent on ripping it to shreds. She stopped however, where had she seen this hat before? It seemed so familiar, ok so for now she would spare it. She slammed the hat onto her head and marched onward, not really sure where exactly she was going but eh, who cares?

Her history class hadn't really been much of an actual class at all. The teacher had quickly done a lesson before telling the class the page numbers to read and the questions to answer just before she dismissed the class.

Not an ordinary highschool class, Jezebel thought as she gathered up her textbook and her carefully written notes of the lesson.

The blonde vampire frowned as she carried her books, planning to return to her dorm room to complete the assigned work before her next class. All thoughts of completing her work went out of her head as she melled the scent of blood. Her violet eyes became curious as she couldn't ignore it, she gripped her books tighter, and Jezebel moved quickly to find where it was coming from. The smell was overpowering and Jezebel was feeling ever so thirsty. Perhaps she'd be allowed -- NO!

She immediately closed her mind to that thought as she appeared outside the door of a very noisy classroom. She noticed this was the Self Control class and realized someone had very obviously 'lost control'. She frowned, knowing she wasn't going to get lucky at all now, and forced her thirst to the back of her mind. It was difficult, with the scent seemingly stuck in her nostrils, but the lonely vampire slowly walked away from it. It took quite a lot of willpower but, somehow, she managed it.

Upon reaching her dorm room she threw herself onto her bed, burying her head into her pillow as she willed the blood scent out of her head.

[Kishin]

"WAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!" As Kishin flew through the sky, he was pretty sure he could see kids vying for a good spot to watch him from the window in the distance. Oh well, for now he was going to have to-
"Oof! Uh! Ow! Oof! Dammit!"
Kishin found himself falling through the trees, having flown way out into the forest. Eventually, he was caught by a particularly large tree branch by his middle. For a moment, he just lay there, his arms and legs dangling towards the ground. When he was able to gather his strength, he lifted himself up onto the tree branch. He climbed over to the trunk of the tree, leaning his back against it while he coughed up blood. He hit me harder than usual today. I wonder if he thought I was laughing at that girl, rather than the situation? Oh well. Nobody understands my humor, anyway. He sighed, closing his eyes and resting for a moment. He went to pull down his hat so that he could take a nap, when...
My hat's gone?!? Dammit, where'd it go?!?
Kishin looked down, trying to see if his hat had landed on the ground, when he saw a boy talking to a wolf. The wolf ran off, and a girl came back. Without wasting any time, Kishin unceremoniously dropped himself to the ground between them, although he was more on the sidelines. He had landed on his feet, but quickly fell to his knees to cough up a little more blood. After he was done, he stood up as if coughing up blood was something he did on a regular basis. He pushed his blue hair out of his eyes, looking around.
"Hey, you two. Have you seen a hat around here?" He asked, casually.

[Sasha]

"You two, take her to the infirmary and tell the nurse what happened and Sasha, I'd like to speak with you after you've done that". "Sure, teach!" Sasha called distractedly, as he helped up the poor girl. Sasha let Ai hang on to him for support. "Is he...going to be okay?" Sasha smiled at her, nodding. "Of course. I held back, so he should probably just have a couple of broken ribs. He'll be back in no time." He was shocked as she pushed herself away from him to go walk over to a desk, sliding down to the floor as she babbled something about a paper. He didn't know what she was thinking, but he was sure that whatever it was probably wasn't making sense in the first place. Sasha followed her and kneeled down by her side.
"Is the teacher going to be okay here?"
Sasha heard her ask that in a hushed voice before she passed out. Without another word, Sasha gently picked her up in his arms, not caring about the blood on his clothing. He turned to Viktor. "C'mon. We need to take her to the Infirmary so she can get some rest."

Re` was pissed off to say the least, here she was attempting to find either the school or some idiot demon who got punted out of the window and what does she get instead, a stupid black hat. No the hat was nice and let me just say she wore it well, very well, but if she had a choice between safety from the rain or a hat she would choose safety in a heart beat. She decided if she ever got back to the building she was requesting a map of somesort. I mean losing one's classroom is one thing, but losing the whole entire freaking school was something else completely.

Almost on instinct she threw the hat on the ground. Immediately afterwards she felt bad about it and picked back up, wiping off the dirt and fixing it so it would stand the way she thought it was supposed to it. As she gazed at it she realized how much it reminded her of a certain opera, or jazzy depending on you view, song named Black Max. That happens to be a very good song to sing if you have the proper hat to act it out with, and she happened to have the said hat, which was perfect for the song.

One has to remember, Re` was in love music and she performs it just as well as she loved it. So she was an extremely talented singer. As in, if she could actually get away with being a proffessional, or rather didn't have to worry about passing out on stage, plenty of people would pay a pretty penny to see her sing a single song. So, whenever she felt the desire to sing and she was certain no one would hear her (which she was due to the fact she was in timbuktu) she very quickly decided to sing. And let's just say she was feeling very inspired by this hat that had smacked her in the face. I wasn't long before she was imagining the music to Black Max and then singing it.

((Italics and inside quotation marks means she singing it.))
"He was always dressed in black, long black jacket,
"Broad black hat, sometimes a cape
"And as thin, and as thin as rubber tape - Black Max
"He would raise that big black hat to the big shots of the town"
As she sang this she raised or tipped the hat.
"Who would raise their hats right back" Once more she tipped the hat.
"Never knew they were bowing to Black Max
"I'm talking about night in Rotterdam
"When the right night people of all the town
"Would Find what they could in the night Neighborhood of Black Max".

The song continued and through out it she would do small maneuvers with the hat that was usually placed on her head. Yeah, she sounded fine if she did say so herself. She did not stop walking as she sang, however she was a little slower, or faster depending on the beat that the song was supposed to be at at the moment in time. Man, her mood quite literally sky rocketed as she sang and she was pretty sure she was never returning the hat if she ever were to find the owner, of course that depended a lot on whether or not she had had her fun with it.

Viktor sighed and shook his head as she asked if the teacher was going to be okay. "Ai, you just spouted more blood than I thought could possibly be contained in a single body, and you're asking if the teacher is going to be okay?" Then again that was par for the course for Ai, who always seemed far more concerned for everyone else's safety and wellbeing than her own...sometimes to a fault. A fact that was well driven when she slumped over suddenly and passed out. Viktor moved forward to catch her, but the other, Sasha, had already swooped down and picked her up, and then turned to Viktor, stating the obvious--that they had to go to the infirmary. Normally Viktor would have not paid it any further mind, but after not feeding for a few days, logic tended to evade Viktor and Sasha's actions and words elicited an irritated reaction from the type B vampire. "I am well aware and do not need you telling me such things," he muttered under his breath without thinking. Of what use am I to my own friend if Mister Hero here swooped in and saved the day already? he thought to himself bitterly as they walked, watching Sasha carrying Ai.

[Sasha]

Sasha, carrying Ai, stopped in the hallway and turned to Viktor. "Uhmm....you wouldn't know where the infirmary is, would you?" He asked a bit sheepishly. "You'd think I'd remember, but....to be honest, I've never actually been to the infirmary." Sasha smiled apologetically. "You don't mind leading the way, do you?"
