Four Teens Attacked by Rabid Dog in One Night
That's what the headline reads. Your picture is one of four covering the front page of the Hawksville Chronicle.
There's one problem: What you were attacked by was no 'rabid dog'.
It was a wolf. That could turn into a human. A werewolf, if you must name it.
You know because you saw the change. You're beginning to sense it in yourself.
The...thing that bit you gave you five days to leave behind everything a join his pack, or be exterminated. Five days before the full moon, before the your first change.
It's time to see the world through a whole new set of eyes.
Werewolves:
1. Can change at will most times
2. Cannot change during a full moon unless moonlight hits them
3. Have 5-20 minute changes, which can vary from intensly painful to minorly uncomfortable, depending on the experience a werewolf has
4. Have an 'inner wolf' that can influence their behavior
5. Use Wolvic in human form to dominate subordinate wolves (See below)
6. Get burned by pure silver and get skin irritation from anything with silver in it

Luke rolled his eyes. "You deserve a medal," he muttered, following her up the stairs. When they arrived on the second floor there was a hallway of doors and then another staircase. He'd never been in a house this big before.

Autumn bit her lip as Luke came up the stairs. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to be so annoying." She said softly while looking at her feet. The truth was that now she had eaten she was hyper and wanted to run around, but now she felt bad and made herself be calm and quiet instead of the happy and hyper person she wanted to be right now. "I don't know, do you just want to look in rooms and see what we find?" She asked him quietly while looking away from him.

"Relax. It's just a joke," Luke said. He hadn't meant what he said to be insulting. But, one thing he noticed was that this girl apologized about everything. He wondered vaguely why that was.

"I know." Autumn said while looking back over at him. "I know it was a joke, but still I can't help but feel like I'm annoying you." She said to him and then began walking down one way. "The truth is I always feel like I annoy everyone all the time. I've even been told I'm annoying...and that I'm obsessive and crazy and ridiculous and emotional and a good for nothing whore." She said, not really realizing she was saying all of this out loud to a boy she barely even knew.

Luke was taken back. He'd been called lots of bad names growing up, mostly by his father. He knew what it was like to have someone tell you you're worthless, or good for nothing, or a whore. That was different though. He deserved to be called those things - poor Autumn didn't.
"Now how could someone ever call you any of those things?" he demanded, "That's horrible. You don't deserve that." He was surprised by how much this upset him. He usually didn't care much for other people but ever since joining the pack he felt like he was going to be a part of a family. And a family bickered and fought as they all had earlier - but no outsider was allowed to harm a member of the family, the pack. Not in his mind.

"Ha tell that to my ex boyfriend." Autumn said with a sigh. Even after a year it still hurt to think about it. "Its actually rather funny he called me a whore. He was the one who cheated on me with five freaking girls. I mean I guess it was my own fault too, I kinda figured it was happening, but after two years of being with him I didn't want to believe it was true. Finally when I gave him what he wanted in hopes that he would stop what he was doing he took advantage of the situation and then after called me a whore and broke up with me." She said, getting angrier and angrier. She then sound around and began walking backwards as she looked at Luke. "But so is life right? I guess I don't really have a reason to be so upset and hurt cause worse things happen to people." She said and then sighed and turned around. "But that was just the start of my downward spiral of bad relationships." She mumbled, almost whispered as she walked over to a wall and leaned against it.

"I'm sorry," Luke said, "I wish I could empathize but I'm not really big on relationships. My dad and I moved around all the time so it was kind of hard to have a serious relationship with anybody when you never stay in one place for more then a few months. But still, I think it's safe to say you're better off without him. He sounds like an asshole. If he didn't care about you, you shouldn't let yourself care about him. That's how people get hurt."

Autumn said as she subconsciously scratched some scars on her arm. "I'm sorry you moved around a lot though, that must've sucked big time. I don't think you'll have to go through that now though so you could probably have a relationship if you wanted...I mean if Dan would let you." She said to him as she gave him a slight smile. She wasn't sure if they'd actually be able to have relationships now at all.

Luke sighed. He didn't like being 'let' to do anything. Having to have someone else's permission to do anything. His father had 'let' him do this and 'let' him do that. If his father ever found out he did something without his permission he would make Luke regret it. Luke could just imagine what his father was doing right now. Probably sitting at home drunk, breaking things and cursing to himself, thinking of the ways he was going to punish Luke when he got home for being late. Little did his father know that his son was never coming back.
"Eh," he shrugged, "Like I said, relationships aren't my thing. I'd rather choose not to be in one then have to ask permission from Dan."

Autumn nodded as she listend to him. "Alright." She said to him and then pushed off the wall. "Well then shall we continue with our snooping around?" August sat in his room, flipping lazily through a Playboy magazine. But really, he just wasn't getting as much pleasure at looking at half-naked women as he usually did. Not when there were so many attractive women roaming about his house at this very moment. He should be down there right now, pursuing them and flirting with them. Not sitting up here by himself looking at a magazine full of sluts. Not when he could be on a never-ending quest to get laid.
He could hear Autumn and Luke talking in the hall. He eavesdropped a little - listening to them talk about relationships. It made him smile to himself. He was totally betting on them getting together and their apparent lack of desire for relationships should've made it less likely. Not in his book - it just meant they had more in common.

Inside the walls were adorned with posters of slutty chicks on motorcycles. There were clothes strewn haphazardly across the floor and an IPod home on the desk. There were two beds and August was lounging on one, reading a Playboy.
Well they didn't have to guess whose room this was. In fact, Luke thought, it was actually his room. Or it was going to be.

August raised an eyebrow challengingly. Oh so Luke was going to play the personal insults game. Well August could play that game too . . . Well he could if he knew anything about Luke. All he knew was that Luke's mother had abandoned him. Not the kind of thing you mention during a casual argument - it was a little too personal and a little too mean. "If this house had a dungeon, I promise I would've locked you in it by now" he said.

Emily smiled at the two girls. She started to think of her previous boyfriend, and her smile died. She wanted to scream, or break something. She'd trusted him with her heart and he'd just thrown it to the ground. How naïve could she get? She stopped cleaning the dishes for a moment and leaned on the counter, closing her eyes while her hands clenched into fists.

The last 'rule' he told Luke and was obviously trying to piss both of them of got her worrying that this was going to end badly. She rolled her eyes at August and the turned to Luke. "Come on Luke let's just go please? Don't give him what he wants." She said in a small voice, but it was too late. Things were already starting to pan out. When August grabbed Luke is when she decided to try and intervene. "Stop it August!" She yelled slightly at the guy and yanked on his arm, trying to get him to let go of Luke. She knew she was putting herself in a dangerous situation, but she had to stop this.

Luke hated closets and just confined spaces of any kind really. And he especially hated being locked in anywhere. He knew that if August locked him in a closet he'd have a complete melt down. And he really didn't want to embarrass himself by freaking out. He didn't want to get into a fight with August but he would if he had to. So he was releived when Dan came into stop the commotion.

August guiltily let go of Luke when Dan stormed in. He couldn't help it. He could hear the anger and dissapointment in Dan's voice. But also the wolvic, which meant that he was planning on making him stop if he resisted in any way, shape, or form. He prefferred to stop of his own free will though. He felt the power of the wolvic and couldn't help but be intimidated. He had to try and hide it though. "Oh c'mon Dan" he said with a lazy smirk "I was just screwing around with my new roomate. I wasn't going to hurt him. He's fine? See? No harm done. This one" he gestured to Autumn "Overreacted though."

Autumn looked at Dan, feeling some relief when he stopped things. She let go of August right away and backed up next to Luke. When August said she overreacted she shot him an irritated look. "Right I overreacted by yelling at you to stop. At least I wasn't the idiot trying to annoy two people like you were." She spat at him. It actually shocked her that she did that since she usually could contain her anger, but something about what all August said and did made her temper flare up.

Listen guys, I know that you all are going to hate me for this, but I really don't know if I'm ever going to be able to work up the motivation to post in this. Between people leaving and the fact that I simply am not 'feeling' this, I just...
I do apologize, really, cause I know I hate when people simply stop posting when I put my heart and soul into a roleplay, and if anything changes, I'll be sure to poke in and make it known, but for now, I simply cannot deal with this on top of various other things that are going on in my life right now.

lol I do that too. Whenever I hear a song I connect it to something I've already written, or I become inspired to write something new to go along with it

I have this horrible habit of trying to relate every song I hear to my life or my writing

That's pretty amusing. My teachers have to tell me to stop reading sometimes too. And one's who've had my sister always say "Oh you're just like Kate." That really kind of annoys me actually but it could be worse. Despite being alike though, we fight alot. Like all sisters

my little sister really doesn't like writing/reading, which means i have no one to talk to about this stuff when i'm at home
one of my old teacher's, who's my sister english teacher told me that we were polar opposites about reading. He'd have to take books away from me during class, and it's utterly impossible to even convince my sister to pick one up

I would play Gilthanas but I already have two characters so it'd be a bit much . . . and yes, we are sisters. She's older by a year though. We usually do the same RP's so we have something to talk about - and not kill each other :)
