Rhea Xior

She looked up when Keating shook the piece of her locket, but she hadn't cared, it wasn't the locket, that could easily been repaired. It seemed he was ready for Rhea to break any moment but it would take much more than what happened today. She looked once more at the photo that was nearly crumpled in her hand. Her eyes showed a certain sadness, she became a little teary eyed, but was able to shake off the emotions.

Lennon didn't hesitate to sit next to her, and its not like she hadn't wanted it, or simply wanted him to leave, she was happy that he was there to talk to her about it, or at least do as much talking as he could."You want some company, over here?" She began use her finger to make invisible little circles in her desk. "I don't mind...." she mumbled. She looked over at Sinclair, who seemed to be much more awake than before. "The fuck's that about?

"Sinclair just tends to get a little rush when he sees Clover, don't worry about it..." She began to wonder if she should tell Lennon about the picture, she was boring holes right through her principles, no one was allowed any farther past knowing where she came from, her past had been locked up in an eternal sleep, what was changing now? Being at the academy for 4 years? Still she had barely gotten to know enough people to at least remember their first or last names. She began to mark the desk with her finger, which was now heated at the tip, the circles became burnt linings in the wood. Her body was struggling with anxiety, she burnt her index finger for a second but merely looked at it, and stopped the hobby. She took the photo from the desk and handed it to Lennon. "That's my little brother...." she smiled, something she rarely did, though it would put anyone under the impression that she was actually depressed. Lennon had yet to find out about Rhea and her past, she had only told a handful of people. She told bits of it to Sinclair, but nothing that was substantial.

After Nissa retired to her room, she checked her lecture notes for the class later that day. She already completed it last night but flying around early this morning gave her a new idea. She looked over her notes and decided to do some changes. Once she was done preparing her lesson, she walked out of her room and went outside.

When she was walking to the classrooms, she was just mildly surprised to see William Hawk out of class. She certainly knew how little he valued his education but what shocked her was his companion. It was Nina Collins, the shy child of Demeter. "Nina?" She called out, stopping near them. She looked at both of them disapprovingly but she was more focused on the blond haired girl. "I thought you have class with Mr. Alexander this morning?" She stated checking her wristwatch to make sure that she wasn't mistaken. She recently heard the last warning bell so she was sure that classes had already begun.

"What are you doing here outside with Mr. Hawk?" She added turning to the other student for a moment, arching an eyebrow. She looked at her and waited for her response.

Arissa Adia

"Yes, I know. If it weren't for Ava...", Arissa said smirking at Tristan, trailing off at the end of her statement. She liked Tristan, he was the type of guy you'd enjoy talking with. Unlike the other son of Aphrodite, he doesn't act like a total slut. She wanted to add more having found someone who shared her dislike but decided to leave it at that.

Now that she was in Mr. Cadwell's class she's certainly in her element. Mr. Alexander Cadwell is the only teacher worth listening to and she always made sure to pay extra attention to everything he says. "I can't have a night off, every once in a while?" She smiled hearing his joke, it was just like him to make things fun. But her smile faded when she saw Portia, the wild and reckless child of Dionysius enter the class as if she owned it. Groaning inwardly she looked at her disgustedly. I thought I got rid of her before! She thought thinking back where she unfortunately saw her earlier at the garden.

It was just her luck that everyone she don't like seem to be in her morning class, aside from Tristan and to some extent, Danni, that is. Good thing Mr. Cadwell is in front of her or else.
"Doesn't she know the existence of a hairbrush?" She murmured to Tristan, still staring at the girl distastefully. "Or taking a bath?" She added raising her chin haughtily, crossing her arms in front of her.

"Today, we're going to be practising with non-contact battle. That is, fighting using your powers, not weapons. So throw on some armour - " Mr. Cadwell had already started talking about their activity for the day. He then started to look for the other students. She rolled her eyes as she was walking towards the lockers when she heard him state Nina's name. Not surprisingly she's still with William. Honestly. It will do her good if she don't associate herself with the guy.

Everlie McCallister

Drying out her clothes to the best of her ability, Everlie looked over at her friend with curiosity sparkling in her amber coloured eyes. "So, tell me again why you thought it would be a good idea to cannon ball into the water five minutes before class starts?" Her words were spoken in a jokingly manner, but in all honesty, Everlie did kind of want to know. Who wouldn't?

Everlie turned and motioned for the girl to follow as they walked, rather quickly, to the girl's dorms so Everlie could change. "Are you sure you dont want to change? Or maybe shove an extra towel in your bag in case you feel like a swim between periods?" She asked as she made her way through the almost silent halls until she got to her own room. Walking in, she rummaged through her drawers in search for clothes. When she found some, she walked into the bathroom and tried to change as fast as she could. Missing classes wasnt one of her favorite things, that was obvious, what with her being an apparent nerd and all.

Juliette Halliwell

"Night off, yes. But when you come in looking like you got abducted and they just released you...." Jules smirked over at Mr. Cadwell before noticing Portia walk in. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed Arissa's look and a chuckle rose low in her throat, but she managed to swallow it down. "Hey girlie. Rough night?" She teased, bumping shoulders with her friend before pointing to her bag when the girl inquired about her water bottle. Listening to the girls plans for a....rather fun night, Jules' face lit up a bit. "Oooh yes. Let's wreak havoc on this school. We'll bring the walls crashing down in no time." Hearing light whispers from Arissa. or as Jules sometimes referred to her, Her highness, she looked over at her for a moment before snapping her attention to Cadwell.

"This should be fun." Leaning down to grab her bag, Jules tossed it and it slid across the floor before bumping into a wall. The non-contact meant that she might be able to get out of all the cuts and bruises. Might being the operative word in that sentence. But hey, being the daughter of Apollo, she had a slight power of foresight, so maybe she'd...be able to tell when someone was about to blast her with a lightning bolt? Sometimes, physical combat was easier than non-contact, but what can you do? Cadwell was the teacher and he made the rules, might as well play the game.

Ezekiel Row

Cadwell is gonna have my ass for being late... Zeke suddenly had this thought all to himself as he walked through the hallways, it was nearly empty, that had kept Zeke from worrying too much about arriving at any particular time, but he still kept a fast walking pace, to make it seem like he wasn't trying to skip class. During his little morning walk he ran into both Nina and Will, about three seconds away from being reprimanded by Ms.Summers. He nearly turned around to avoid the oncoming trouble, but he had to see what was going on between Nina and Will. He stopped mid-track, and with a few doses of convincing walked towards the group, he put his arm roughly behind Will's neck in a friendly gesture, and his other arm simply hung by Nina's shoulder. "So what's going on guys!.." he said in a loud voice. "Oh! Ms.Summers how nice of you to greet us! Nina and Will were just getting some supplies for Mr.Cadwell's class, we're using our equipment today, and we ran short, and do you know how heavy it is to carry that crap? So he assigned me, Will, and Nina to go fetch some." He smiled a bit obnoxiously, but not a single streak of nervousness seemed to grace his features. "You look really nice today Ms.Summers, I almost forgot to mention that!..." He turned to both Will and Nina, his coy smile couldn't be seen under the locks of his blonde hair. "Lets go and fetch that equipment, eh?.." He led them both around the hallway, hoping that Ms.Summers would not notice anything strange. In a low whisper he commenced his message. "Follow me and don't say shit..."

There were already halfway down the hallway with Zeke behind the couple. He waved back to Ms.Summers in goodbye hoping she would catch his drift.

Chloe Huntington

"I needed to wake up, and dive-bombing into the lake seemed like a good enough idea." Chloe smirked back to her friend, her hair already naturally drying in the sunlight. In a few minutes, she would be completely dry and wouldn't even need to change. "You know me, Evie," the brunette laughed, as they walked in unison towards the other girl's room, "I'm a daughter of Poseidon. We kinda' need the water to function properly." Her answer was pretty serious; she felt as if she did need the water to function properly, it was her life, and the only thing that really ever made her truly happy. Without the water... Chloe didn't know what she would be, but "happy" wasn't it.

"An extra towel could be helpful, I suppose." She smiled, sitting herself down on Everlie's floor as the blonde went to get changed in the bathroom. She looked around, taking in the quaint room, looking along the bookshelf that was sitting in the corner of the room. Her eyes glazed over all of the books - there were books that she had never even heard of before, by writers that she couldn't pronounce the name of up there, along with the minimal amount that she did know. "We best get a move on, Ev. Keating can't wait forever. He may just explode."

William Hawk

Will was quite shocked at Nina's reply. She wasn't one for skipping lessons, that was for sure, and he had to hold back a gawp in awe as she agreed to his proposition of missing out on ol' Cadwell's lesson and spending some quality time together. "You're seriously going to skip class, just to spend some time with little old me? Why Miss Collins, I'm shocked. I didn't think I meant that much to you, that you'd risk getting in trouble." He smiled at her, a hint of playfulness glinting in his eyes. He leaned over and took her hand in his momentarily, brushing his fingers over her soft, porcelain colored palms. "This is going to go well." He said, tracing one of the lines that ran down her palm, from the bottom of her middle finger, down to the bottom of her hand. Not many actually knew that he could read palms, and that was what he was doing now, staring intently at Nina's hand.

"Love is also in your future too, my dear. With... someone close to you. Possibly a friend. A friend turned lover. You'll be a perfect couple. Have three children, two girls and a boy. You'll be married too, until death." He looked up, at her and put her hand back down, gently onto her lap. "Well, that's what your palm say anyway. Who knows if it's true or not. I believe it's true though." He smiled.

However, his smile feel quickly as Miss Summers rounded the corner killing the romantic mood that he had tried to hard to create. "Oh Miss Summers..." For once, William Hawk was speechless., his brain being focused on the romance that he was trying to force, instead of coming up with quick excuses as to why they weren't in class. However, he was saved by Zeke, the son of Ares, and wasn't shown up in front of the woman that he was trying to woo.

Soon, he was following the blonde male, nodding discretely as he told them to keep their mouths shut and just follow. He walked quietly behind him, slowly reaching out to the left however, and he took the hand of Nina.

Lukas Tricon

Lukas turned to Clover and smiled innocently. "I didn't do anything, my dear. Like I said, all I did was knock a fly away. Didn't want a little old fly annoying your best friend Sinclair now, did I? Couldn't have that." He placed a soft kiss on Clover's cheek, making sure that Sinclair could obviously see it, before his attention was taken by the teacher in front of him. He didn't like Mr Keating very much, the man was a scary human being, and it didn't help with him being the child of the god of war, Ares. He shifted in his seat uncomfortably as the teacher scolded him for trying to set Sinclair on fire, and he nodded his hair apologetically. "I was only trying to get a fly, sir." He smiled, before Clover saved him, taking the attention of Mr Keating away from him. He let out a soft sigh as he sat there, holding his girlfriend's hand. The incident with Sinclair had bothered him more than it should have done, and he didn't like it. "I wish we could have stayed in bed today," he said quietly, stroking her hand with his thumb, "as it would have been a better way to spend the day."

Boys and girls weren't allowed to sleep in each others dorms, but that didn't stop most of the kids from jumping from bedroom to bedroom. Portia was obviously one for doing it, Will was another, and Lukas and Clover were just the same. They liked to spend the night together, even if it was just to curl up and sleep. Lukas never slept better than when his arms were wrapped around Clover. And contrary to belief, she didn't snore.

Luke nodded a brief hello to Ava as she arrived, but he was literally pulled into the conversation by his girlfriend, as she displayed his palms to the blonde. He made an effort to get more involved, and turned in his seat to face her. "What can I say? I'm a magician." he laughed playfully, before then turning back into his seat. He was a little more pleased by Sinclair's next comment about being a bridesmaid. That was much better - Sinclair standing behind them in the wedding procession, wearing the ugliest fuchsia coloured dress that Clover could find. "Oh Sin, I think you'd look lovely in a pink bridesmaid's dress. It'd set off the singes in your hair." He didn't turn around to speak to the male, only kept his eyes forward, a playful smile tugging at the corner of his lips. Yes, it annoyed him to the core that Sinclair wanted his Clover. But he couldn't stop himself from playing on it from time to time, annoying the other in return by kissing Clover in front of him, and making jibes like his previous one. He was a jealous soul, but was proud of it. Anyone who had Clove on their arm had to watch out for intruders trying to steal her, and he was just being overcautious.

Lukas looked over to Clover as she wrote on his hand, asking if he was okay, and then adding a heart. He smiled softly in her direction and lent forward, pressing a soft kiss on her forehead. "I'm fine. Just being myself, you know? Over protectiveness coming though. Don't want anyone coming between us, babe." He smiled, turning back ever so slightly to catch the eye of Sinclair.

If he was going to hit on Clover when her boyfriend was sitting next to her, and make little snipes at their relationship - this meant war.

Peter

Peter sighed deeply as he heard what they were to be doing, this was not something he could do. So, as he walked to get some gear on, he started mumbling to himself, "This is great for those of us that can shoot lightning from their hands or fireballs out their ass. I am good at talking and not getting hurt or sick. I'm gonna be a goddamn handicap for whichever team I'm on..." He sighed as he gave Jules a look that said, "Save me" and then gave her his wonderfully cute pout, hoping she'd not be able to say no.

Lennon

"A little rush?" Lennon repeats sceptically, "Looks pretty big to me." Though it figures that the outburst would have something to do with Clover; if knew what it was about her that's so appealing, he'd bottle it and sell it. He'd make a fortune. The burning smell returns, and he looks back at Sinclair and Lukas, but they seem to have settled down. He turns back to Rhea, "Do you smell...?" but he notices the smoke rising from her desk and fingers before he finishes the question. He wonders, vaguely, whether her fingertip would be hot to the touch after doing that.

He's surprised when she hands him a scrap of ageing paper, but when he turns it around between his fingers he realises that it's a photograph. He's still confused as to why exactly Rhea is carrying it around, until she explains that it's a picture of her brother. "I didn't know that you have a brother..." the photo shows a toddler, but the thing looks ancient, so the kid must be much older, by now.

He hands the picture back, carefully so as not to rip the delicate thing. He's quiet for a moment, before he remembers what's happening tonight. Gods! How had he managed to forget! The dance! He groans inwardly; he loathes dances - most especially school ones. They're always torturous. He drums his fingers on the desk, thinking. "He, Rhea? he asks, his voice low so that the other's won't overhear, "I know this is lame, and feel free to tell me to fuck off, but if we've both got to go to this stupid dance thing anyway, would you mind going...with me?"

Ava Sawyer

Ava took Clover's outstretched wrist and admired the delicate bracelet with a small smile "It's gorgeous Clo" she stated releasing her friends wrist "You've really outdone yourself" She told Lukas with a nod of her head. "Yeah, we're all just waiting for our wedding invites with baited breath, aren't we Ava?" Sinclair's sarcastic tone caught her attention, he sure as hell didn't hide his emotions well when it came to Clover and Lukas relationship, she rolled her eyes with a shake of her head "you know, jealousy really doesn't suit you Sin" she whispered to her friend pointedly careful not to let Luke or Clover hear her. In some way she couldn't help but feel sympathy for Sinclair she knew what unrequited love felt like, it wasn't nice yet Clover and Lukas were great for each other, everyone could see it and the sooner Sin saw it, the better.

Sinclair

Sinclair mimes throwing up violently behind their backs when Lukas kisses Clover, but straightens up a little when Keating starts his sardonic lecture. He returns the teacher's sarcastic grin, and bows dramatically when Keating pretends to applaud him for making it to morning class. "I wouldn't miss it for the world, Mr. Keating." Lukas's comment about spending the day in bed with Clover makes him feel physically sick; if Tricon says anything else salacious, he may not have to pretend to throw up. He can imagine - though he tries his best not to - what goes on between them behind closed doors, of course, but he doesn't appreciate the affirmation.

He wrinkles his face when Lukas makes a comment about him looking lovely in a dress, "Careful there, Lukas. Anyone would think you fancy me." He rolls his eyes in an exaggerated gesture when Ava chides him for his jealousy, "Who's jealous?"" he shoots back childishly.

He sits back, twisting the singed strand of hair around his fingers dejectedly. He might have to start wearing a wig, if he does anything else to annoy Lukas. Maybe if he were to actually kiss Clover, Lukas will roast him to ashes and then dance on his grave. Wait. Speaking of dancing...Oh, shit. The dance. He'd forgotten about the dance. Up until last year, he'd always gone with Clover - strictly as friends, of course - and had never had to ask any of the girls to go with him, before. He figures that he might as well just get it over with, and glances around, searching for a girl...Ava! Ava is a girl!

"Ava! Hey, Ava." Sinclair calls to get her attention, "This dance tonight, be a mate and come with me?" he pleads.

Nissa knew that Nina Collins wouldn't ever dare skipping a class and so when she saw the blond haired girl with the notorious 'womanizer' of the academy, she started to get suspicious. She was ready to use her authority as a teacher and get dear William Hawk into a detention when out of nowhere Ezekiel Row entered the scene.

"So what's going on guys!.. Oh! Ms. Summers how nice of you to greet us! Nina and Will were just getting some supplies for Mr.Cadwell's class, we're using our equipment today, and we ran short, and do you know how heavy it is to carry that crap? So he assigned me, Will, and Nina to go fetch some. You look really nice today Ms. Summers, I almost forgot to mention that!... Lets go and fetch that equipment, eh?.."

As they left her, she stood there speechless. Was it just her or she had been tricked by Ezekiel Row? She knew that out of the students in his class, Mr. Cadwell would never request Nina and Ezekiel to get some heavy equipment out of nowhere. They looked fragile enough and well... Still looking at the retreating students, she opted to just shake her head. She turned at the bench again and stared at the direction they went to. Oh well... After that she started walking to her classroom again.

She knew how distracted the students will be later on this night, so if she wanted to execute her lesson for the day this afternoon will be the best time.

Everlie McCallister

Everlie stood in front of the mirror and ran a brush through her chestnut brown hair. When she decided that she no longer looked like she'd been dunked in the lake, the girl looked over at her friend, who she found looking at the books. Ever loved to read, which was kind of obvious when you looked at her. Books were like an escape. You could leave one world and enter another without ever taking a step. To some, Evie's vast amount of books seemed a bit nerdy, but to her, it just seemed comforting to know that she could go on a dozen adventures without ever leaving her room.

As Everlie finished dressing she ran back out. "Keating? Explode? Well then, we'd better get going before we're cleaning him off the walls." She grinned over at the girl before grabbing her bag and walking out the door. The halls were eerily quiet as she and her friend made her way through them. "I wonder what he has planned for us today. Probably something resulting in injuries so he can stand there and laugh at our pain." She shrugged her shoulders, unkowing of what awaited her in Boone Keating's classroom.

"So do you do that every day? Jump in the water before you run to class, little miss Mermaid Girl?" She smiled at her friend as she stepped out into the daylight once more.

"Who's jealous?" Sinclair retorted childishly causing Ava's eyes to narrow at him, he was so infuriating at time but deciding not to let him bother her anymore, she turned away from him and opened up her notebook for Mr Keating's class, flicking through the pages and briefly glancing over her power control note, this was probably one of her worst classes, not that she hated the subject but she didn't exactly have a power to control and it didn't help that Mr Keating really didn't like her.

"Ava! Hey, Ava." Sinclair's spoke trying to get her attention, turning her head slightly towards him she raised an eyebrow "what do you want?" she asked calmly before turning back to her notes "This dance tonight, be a mate and come with me?" His words shocked her slightly, she certainly wasn't expecting that "Really?" she asked her voice softening yet slightly confused, truth was she just felt relieved that someone had asked her, even if it was just as friends "But yeah, sure why not?" she smiled.

Rhea Xior

As he hands the picture back, Rhea lays it back on her desk and puts laments on the situation between Sinclair and Lukas dor a second, in all honestly the whole was pure teenage drama, though who knows who would ened up with who, and Sinclair seemed more determined than Rhea had ever seen him. "Hey, Rhea? She turns her attention back to Lennon who seemed quite out of place all of sudden. "Something wrong?.." she asked him. "I know this is lame, and feel free to tell me to fuck off, but if we've both got to go to this stupid dance thing anyway, would you mind going...with me?" She pulled back a little in surprise, she to had forgotten about the little dance party the school had planned for the students, she grimaced for a moment, then smiled. "My pleasure..." she said mimicking Lennon's volume of voice. Suddenly thoughts started to whizz by in her head. "DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW TO FUCKING DANCE?!!!" She began to tap a bit at her desk and sigh. "DON'T TAKE THIS AS A SIGN OF AFFECTION, AFTER ALL ISN'T LIKE THE WHOLE FUCKING SCHOOL AFTER HIM?" She clenched her jeans trying to supress her thoughts, but her face was calm. "OH GOD I CAN SEE YOUR ASS SLIPPING IN THOSE PATHETIC HEELS YOU BOUGHT 3 YEARS AGO..."

"What do you think I should wear, and where do you wanna meet?..." she asked her voice smooth and low. " WHAT ARE YOU DAFT? ARE YOU AN IDIOT? A DUMBASS? A MORON? WHY'D YOU EVEN ACCEPT THE PROPOSAL????" She blushed a bit, her tan skin hiding most of it, she slumped her head in her hands. "I'm surprised you asked me Lennon...actually maybe I'm glad..." she smiled. Her mind tried to flip the situation, whenever she acted out of her norm this is what she thought, her bod was still, but her mind was rampant and judging. It delivered some harsh judgement, but it allowed her to think carefully before acting, this time she had all but lost it.

She stuffed the picture of her brother inside her backpack, and crossed her fingers. "Man when are we gonna start this lesson?..." She looked out the door when Everlie walked in, and noticed Sinclair asking Ava out right in front of Lukas and Claire.

Malcolm hung there, still basking in the warmth of Emilee's dads glow. Everything was peaceful and calm. Malcolm just felt content right now, knowing that he helped Emilee through what was bothering her. He simply was waiting for her to join him and then they can go back to their normal day to day routine. Soon enough, Emilee was hanging there right next to him. She looked at him and spoke. "I don't want to go to class." She said softly. "You know, I don't exactly know what I plan on doing in the near future, this is my home and you're here..I don't want to leave. What are you doing after your schooling is up here?" She asked looking over at him. "And thanks." She said in a soft tone. "You really did cheer me up." She said with a small smile and then punched his arm lightly, like she almost always did, it was a routine. Malcolm feigned being injured. "Ah! Easy with the guns, slugger." he said with a smile. "So, how much game did you get today?" Emilee asked him casually. Malcolm just gave a cocky smile. "The spoils of my catch are right down.....GREGIS!" Malcolm looked down to see the last of his rabbit's sliding down Gregis' enormous gullet. Upon hearing his name, Gregis' ears perked up and he turned his gaze skyward. He gave Malcolm a look of guilt, along with a puppy pout.

"Oh no, your not getting out of this that easy." Malcolm said sternly. He unhooked his legs from the branch and free fell to the ground, landing on his feet. He walked over to Gregis, and Gregis immediately fell to the ground and rolled onto his back, a sign of submission. "That's right, I'm Alpha. Now, those were not all for you. I said you could have half of what I caught, not all of it." Gregis then made a whimpering sound and a weak bark. "Well Emilee is more important than your breakfast, alright." Malcolm explained. Gregis then barked a few times. "Don't use that tone with me! This requires punishment. Nothing but kibble for the next 3 days." Gregis immediately got up and started to bark at Malcolm. At the second bark, Malcolm just gave him a look, which made Gregis submit again. Malcolm then smiled and began to rub Gregis' stomach. "Alright, good boy." Malcolm then stood up and looked back over to Emilee. "Well....I did have 3 rabbits and a pheasant. Now, I guess Ive got nothing. Oh! And I'm not sure what I'm going to do." Malcolm said sort of evasively. That was the last thing he wanted to talk to Emilee about....his future. He looked towards his spear. Gregis had sort of taken the hunting spirit out of him for now. "Well....we're already late for class. I might as well send Gregis with a message to Mr. Cadwell saying we will be late....or not coming. I'll leave it vague. Malcolm reached into his sling pack and got out some paper and a pen. He wrote the following on the paper.

Dear Mr. Cadwell,

We have been detained in the forest. Apologies.

With Respect,
Murdock & Rivera

Malcolm placed the finished letter in Gregis' spiked collar. He then looked him directly in the eyes. "Gregis, take that message to Mr. Cadwell as fast as you can. Got it?" Gregis gave a dog nod. "Good, now go." With that, Gregis raced off into the woods. Malcolm hen turned back to Emilee. "Hey, what are going to do about that dance thing comin' up...soon I guess. You going to ask someone, or not go, or what?" Malcolm asked casually.

Gregis raced through the woods, wind blowing through his shiny coat. His tongue lolling in the wind, leaving a trail of spittle behind him. In a matter of moments he was out of the forest an onto the campus of the school. He raced past people walking, nearly bulldozing over a few students. He ran down a few hallways and stopped in the middle of a four way intersection. He spun around a few times looking from place to place, panting with a dumb grin on his face. He then sniffed the air, and ran down one of the hallways. He ran directly pass Ezekiel, Nina and Will, before sliding to a stop and turning back. He ran directly up to Ezekiel and barked a few happy barks at him while jumping around like a playful puppy. He then put his forelegs on Ezekiel's chest and licked him in the face like he had done a million times before. HE then jumped back, chased his tail for a second, then kept running.

He bolted right into Battle-Strategy class and barreled through the students and desks. He slid to a stop and placed his front paws onto Mr. Cadwell's desk. He then grasped at the note for a little bit before pulling it out of his collar and putting it on his desk. He then looked at Mr. Cadwell with a nice big Dog grin, panting and drooling on his desk. Gregis then sniffed the air and turned around and saw Dani. He ran up to her and barked happily, then jumped up and licked her on the face. He then, walked back over to Mr. Cadwell and sat down in front of him, as if expecting something.

Nina Collins

Nina could tell that Will was shocked at her reply that she'd actually skip class with him. She never skipped so she could afford to miss one class and more so when she could spend it with Will. Will was always so sweet and she didn't see how anyone thought he was mean, she hadn't really seen him overly mean to anyone. Nina had only seen his sweet side, she knew he had a more mean side but she just never seen him that way and everyone was allowed their moments. "You're seriously going to skip class, just to spend some time with little old me? Why Miss Collins, I'm shocked. I didn't think I meant that much to you, that you'd risk getting in trouble." When Will had said that playfully teasing her she laughed a little bit. "Well, Mr.Hawk, it's hard to say no to you." She said teasing him back and laughing a little. That was when he took her hand and she smiled and a little bit of color flooded into her cheeks, not as bad as it used to be but still. When he started to trace one of the lines on her hand she gave him a small smile.

He had been looking at it quite a bit. "Love is also in your future too, my dear. With... someone close to you. Possibly a friend. A friend turned lover. You'll be a perfect couple. Have three children, two girls and a boy. You'll be married too, until death." He looked up, at her and put her hand back down, gently onto her lap. "Well, that's what your palm says anyway. Who knows if it's true or not. I believe it's true though." He smiled. It was that smile that Nina died for, the one the made her heart flutter a little bit. She couldn't help but smile at one of those smiles. Nina opened her mouth to say something when Ms.Summers had appeared and her smile vanished. Nina was surprised to see the teacher outside of class and she was quickly scanning her brain for an excuse but couldn't find one.

That was when Zeke, her best friend came up and put one arm around Will and then one arm around her. "Lets go and fetch that equipment, eh?.." He led them both around the hallway and Nina just followed. He told them to shut up and not do anything but finally Will had reached out with his left hand and took Nina's right and she smiled at Will.

After awhile and after they were out of sight and ears Nina was about to say something but was again interrupted by Gregis who had tackled Zeke and she laughed a bit. She turned to Will for a moment wondering who he was going to ask to the ball. Even though she hoped it'd be her she knew that he had many more choices to pick from that he might choose. Nina wanted to go with him maybe what she had to do was ask him her self and if she was going to ask him..She didn't want to do it when Zeke was around, he was her best friend but it was a personal thing that she'd tell him later anyway. "So, you showed up out of the blue, Zeke." She said smiling. "Want to tell me how you randomly pop up?" She asked jokingly with a grin on her face.

Emilee Rivera

Emilee smiled as Malcolm got down and he started to talk with Gregis and Emilee couldn't help but laugh at the two of them. They really were like family to her and this was just a typical day with her, Malcolm, and Gregis. He had told her he didn't know about his future yet and she had realized it was a bad thing to bring up so she left that topic where it was. Then him and Gregis kept going on and on talking and finally Malcolm had told her how much game he did have and how much he had now.

Soon enough Malcolm wrote a note to Mr.Cadwell and sent it with Gregis. After Gregis left Emilee was still hanging upside down. She looked at Malcolm as he asked her about the dance. "Hey, what are going to do about that dance thing comin' up...soon I guess. You going to ask someone, or not go, or what?" Malcolm asked casually. Emilee sighed, she knew it was going to come up sooner or later with their conversations. Emilee wasn't too thrilled about the dance because that just meant some of the other kids would be dry humping or couples would be there and it made no appeal to Emilee. It was something for her. "I'd like to not go but then I'd look like that loner kid." Emilee said laughing. "I'm not a big fan on the whole formal thing. I suppose I'd go if I was asked." She said and then a grin flashed on her face. "What girl are you thinking of taking, Malcolm? Perhaps a girl you have a crush on.." She said jokingly and laughing.

Malcolm arched his neck looking up at Emilee, listening to what her answer was. She got a look on her face as if she had to deal with something troublesome all of a sudden. Emilee had never really been a party girl. Sure, she would go with Malcolm to parties and she would drink a little, mainly watch out for her drunk friends, but it was never really her scene. She would prefer to chill in or go on adventure. That was fine with Malcolm, but he did occasionally force her into social events, after all, he liked to party. "I'd like to not go but then I'd look like that loner kid." Emilee said laughing. "I'm not a big fan on the whole formal thing. I suppose I'd go if I was asked." She said and then a grin flashed on her face. Uh oh, let the teasing begin. "What girl are you thinking of taking, Malcolm? Perhaps a girl you have a crush on.." She said jokingly and laughing. Malcolm gave her a look that said 'Seriously?' "Oh, hahaha, it is too laugh. As if." Malcolm said sarcastically. He then leaped into the air and re-hooked his legs on the branch, right next to Emilee. "What girl would I have a crush on? It would be just a waste of time and dignity to crush on a girl and have little of either left." Malcolm said half-joking to his friend. "I can talk to girls and hang out with them no problem......wooing them is an entirely different story. No, besides, what girl would go with me? There are so many better options.....at least in their eyes. Like my little bro, for example. Or Nova, or Sinclair or Tristan or Lennon." Malcolm said, still with his trade mark smile stuck on his face.

He then looked over at Emilee. "I'd ask you to go as friends, but I don't want to rob you of the line of guys wanting your affection." Malcolm said to the huntress half teasing. "I'm probably just going to go stag. Either way, I'm sure it will be fun. All of our friends will be there....they sort of have to be. They'll be dancing and music and.....other stuff......and stuff." He looked at her sheepishly, expecting a judging glance. "Oh, you know what I mean. It'll give us all a chance to talk and hang out and get to know one another better. Maybe make new connections and what not. And if we're lucky......no drama will break out." Malcolm said the last part with a tone of seriousness. "Though, I don't think even Clover could be that lucky, knowing this place. Man, I hate drama!" Malcolm said matter of factly.

Clover

Clover bumps her knee against Lukas', letting her bare leg - it had been too warm for jeans for the past few days, so she'd ripped an old pair into shorts - linger against his for a moment longer than neccessary when he says that he'd have prefered to spend the day in bed. "Remember what I said? After class, I'm all yours." She's inclined to agree with him, though; the morning had been chaotic, even by demi-god standards, and it would have been much more pleasant to waste the day curled around him.

The school rules forbid male-female cohabitation, but it's one of those rules which Portia always says are 'made to be broken', and Clover can't find it in herself to feel bad about doing it. She looks up at Keating, to make sure that he hadn't over-heard their wistful conversatsation; she's sure that he wouldn't get them into trouble - that's just not Keating's style - but he'd tease them mercilessly if he heard them speaking about anything even remotely romantic.

She frowns when he says that he's protecting her, and the frown deepens when he frets that something will 'come between' them. She's not sure where that particular outburst had come from. What's he talking about? Sinclair's joke? Clair's just...still adjusting to being a third wheel when it had always been Clover-and-Sinclair. It's not as though she'd ever dated Sinclair, the subject had never even been touched. Anyway, Lukas had stayed close friends with Nina after they dated, and she'd never questioned Nina's intent (OK, so them being best friends is not her favourite thing in the world, but she trusts him). Now's not the time to say anything though; not today of all days. So, instead, she just keeps toying with his hand.

When Sinclair - totally out of the blue - asks Ava to the dance, her head snaps up. She's sure that none of that none of them had expected that. She gives Lukas a 'what the fuck?' look. She throws a curious glance at Sinclair over her shoulder. He hadn't mentioned anything to her about asking Ava to the dance.

"Must be so nice to have someone ask you, Ava." she says, prodding Lukas in the ribs, jokingly. He hadn't asked her, yet, although she'd assumed that it was implied. When he'd asked her to go with him last year, she'd thought that they were just going as friends, until he'd kissed her. That had been a shock; albeit a nice one. "It's kind of weird to spend our anniversary on seperate dates, huh Lukas?" she teases.

Ethy Hunter

Ethy was a hard worker usually but if there was one thing that caused her to stray from her timetable it'd be Cadwell and his obsession to physically work his students half to death. When she'd only just opened her eyes the last thing she wanted to do was frolic about with a sword and child of Athena.
Stepping out into the sunny day Ethy shielded her eyes from the bright rays whilst running a hand through her mane of pale hair.

She'd opted for a pair of grey shorts, a vest top and a grey hoodie despite the warm weather- it was still morning and she was no Aphrodite when it came to her morning wardrobe. All she was interested in was a late breakfast and avoiding Cadwell until it was no longer possible. Which meant she wouldn't be lingering round here considering her room was hazardously close to her first class. Glancing off in the general direction of breakfast she spotted a threesome shuffling away from her first class with speed.

After staring at various features she identified Zeke and...Will but the blonde remained anonymous. There were too many girls with that kind of blonde hair. Giving a quick scope of the rest of her surroundings she began to slouch off towards breakfast hoping that no eye contact with the students nearby would be enough to slip past with ghost-like stealth.

Ezekiel Row

Zeke was relieved when Ms.Summers hadn't expected too much out of him, though he knew she wasn't one to play dumb, he began to chide both Will and Nina. "Virgin Mary's tits, you guys just really had to cause some trouble?...." he sighed for a moment, as he heard the pouncing of familliar paws on the floor, before Gregis could even make it around the corner he had already prepared himself. "Gregis!..." The canine had zoomed past the couple and Zeke, before turning back around and greeting Ezekiel with a friendly welcome. Zeke scratched behind Gregis's ears, and chuckled when the dog lapped at his face. He was much bigger compared to the first time they met, and Zeke had a fear of dogs at the time. He laughed, playing around with Gregis, he noticed the small note snugged into his collar, but figured it was for some purpose that Zeke had no reason to read. As soon as Gregis had come around to play, he was gone, probably to deliver that message. Anything Malcolm had to say, he would say in Zeke's presence, and Gregis seemed to be headed towards Cadwell's class anyway.

"Oh well" he mumbled. "You guys seem prepared to skip class, maybe I will too..." He stood there for a second, a bit out of breath. "I'm sure Cadwell wouldn't mind, but....before I go...I-I...W-wanted to tell you something Will..." He began to stutter like Nina did sometimes, a slight blush passing over his cheeks, but a devious smirk on his lips. He put his hand over his head in a melodramatic fashion. "I-I know we've only known each other for a while..." he took his hand, his face looking away in near fake embarrasment, his voice girly and accentuated with stutters. "Will you be my date to the dance?..." he nearly guffawed at the gesture, and had trouble keeping his posture, before bursting out into laughter."Ha...Just kidding..." He turned away from the couple. "I'll be in Keating's class if you need me, he likes me there anyway, just tell Cadewell I was sick or some crap like that..." He began to walk in the opposite direction. "Don't do anything I wouldn't do!..." He began to walk a little faster, doing his little back-turned-goodbye-wave like he usually did. He gave one last observant look at the two and hoped that nothing unfortunate would befall either of them, especially Nina

If Keating hadn't looked Ezekiel could've just slithered in, but naturally Zeke had to make it look like he belonged there, his lying would only get him so far. Before entering Keating's class, he begun to make himself a little teary eyed and angry, to make it seem like he had done or something wrong or something wrong had been done to him. He tried to think depressing thoughts, that was easy enough, and then mix them with any anger he may have felt, most of those emotions would wash over when he went inside and sat down, but it needed to look authetic for at least 3 or so minutes. He was ready, the usual smile on his face contorted to a look of madeness, and despair. He grasped his bookbag which sat next to him outside.

"First open the door with an atitude!"

He opened the door alright, but it was more like a slam, which reverberated like a gunshot, he had probably used too much force opening it, but the more theatrical the better.

Second, Slam that fucking bookbag!"

His bookbag received the next part of assualt as he threw onto a desk, his eyes showing a bit of redness and tears.

Third, the perfect excuse.."

"I got sent out of class, for insubordination..." he begins his sentence with a grunt and turns his head to the side in an angsty movement. Really he's close to bursting out with laughter but the anger is keeping him still. His eyebrows unfurrow themselves a bit . to make it seem as if he was regretting whatever he had done before. He scooted his chair up to his desk, and put his head between his arms. Silently laughing to himself.

Chloe Huntington

"I kinda' like him. Wouldn't want to be cleaning him off of the windows with a squeedgie." Chloe laughed, pushing herself up with her hands and feet, so that she was in a standing position. She picked up her bag off of the floor and followed Everlie out of her room, closing the door behind her with a quiet click. He flip flops smacked against the floor as they walked, creating an annoying sound as they walked. She hated the sound of flip flops against linoleum, but they were the easiest shoes to slip onto wet feet - converse didn't work, flats got stuck, boots were extremely uncomfortable, so flip flops it was. She had practice with these sort of things. "When I dashed into his class quickly to say that we were going to be late, it said something about an assessment on the board. We're obviously gonna' be using our powers on something. Hopefully each other!" She laughed, as they trundled along the corridor.

Soon, they were coming to the open door of Boone's classroom, and they walked in. It looked as if the class was waiting for them. "Oh Mr Keating, you didn't have to wait for us! We were on our way slowly, you could have started." She smiled childishly, walking over to him and nudging him in the arm softly. "Changed, have you? Hope I didn't ruin your moment with the blonde English teacher." She poked her tongue out at the teacher she saw as an older brother and then walked over to her usual seat, alongside Everlie, near Lukas and Clover. Ava, however, was sitting near the couple too, dampening the happy mood of the teenager instantly. She plopped down into her seat with a huff, making her disdain to the blonde highly obvious. "So, what are we doing today then? Do I finally get to drown someone? Oh, I'd really like that." There was a menacing tone in her voice as she spoke, and her head tilted to the side a little, so she could see Ava's reaction. Oh the joyful thoughts of drowning that blonde, over-confident, bitchy child of Aphrodite.

William Hawk

Okay, Will couldn't stop the laugh this time. "Virgin Mary's tits?" He chortled, nearly having to wipe his eyes from the tears that were growing in them from hilarity. Zeke was one of those people that came out with the most random things at the most random times, and this was one of them. And most of those things were fucking hilarious. "Oh Zeke. You do make me laugh." He smiled, calming down after a few moment of raving laughter. Comments like that were funnier to him than programmes where people hurt themselves jumping off of things being stupid. Little comments - the laughter pockets of life. He stopped as the dog tackled his friend and turned to look at Nina, a sad look replacing the happiness that had just drowned his eyes. "Nina, I have something to talk to you about." He sighed, and let go of her hand slowly, but only after giving it one last squeeze.

"Nina, I want to ask you to the dance," he began, looking at her with soft eyes, "but I'm not going to." He waiting for the reaction on her face, but didn't take too much notice. He didn't want to let anyone know that it hurt him not to ask her, to see her going with someone else and not with him, but it was for her own good. "I'm not... associated the best way - I don't have the best reputation, is what I'm trying to get through here. Coming to the dance with me... it would make people believe that you're my next "conquest" or whatever, and you're not. You're more than that." He kept his voice hushed. Even though Ezekiel had left, he didn't want anyone to over hear him. "I like you, but I don't want you associated with me as my next "lay", okay? So, I'm going to ask someone else. I'm sorry." He said, looking down to the ground.

Phase one, completed. Look like the good guy. Of course, Nina meant more to him than his usual comings-and-goings, but he still had his plan of getting the ladies to like him. The first step, was getting them to like you, and see you as someone noble, and doing things for other people - A selfless do-gooder. He just hoped it didn't back fire, and she wasn't left alone or something.

"Save me a dance though? As many as you can?"

Lukas Tricon

"You better be mine later." Lukas winked at her, playfully squeezing her knee as it rested gently against his, a romantic gesture of sorts to cheer him up.
"Thanks Ava." Lukas smiled as she complimented his handiwork on the bracelet. Even if he wasn't in the best of moods, or didn't feel right, a compliment was something that the eldest Tricon brother always adored. He never disregarded one easily, and he savoured each and everyone of them with a smile, taking them in his stride. He didn't like to brag, but he did love getting the compliments, and would fish for them slyly out of anyone that he could find. He felt his face wrinkle up into a contorted mess when Sinclair said that he was beginning to sound as if he had a crush on the long haired male. He turned around fully this time, and looked his "friend" in the face. "Now Sin, we've gone though this. I'm straight remember. I know how much you want me, but it's not gonna' happen, buddy." He smiled sarcastically, and then turned back around to face the front of the classroom. It was strange how they had all been friends at one point, and now they weren't. They had been a threesome, the closer of the two regrettably being Sinclair and Clover, but soon Luke has taken over Sin's space, and now the dynamics had changed; Lukas wasn't going to be the one going to the dance on his own, and watching Sinclair walk in with Clover on his arm - this time, the roles were reversed, and Lukas had her. And he was god-damn proud of it.

He couldn't stop the little "o" shape forming on his lips as Sinclair asked Ava to the dance - he didn't actually expect the male to ask anyone else. Maybe he was naive and stupid like that, but that was just him. He shared Clover's expression as she looked at him with surprise. He joked along with her as she elbowed him in the ribs, and then he turned to her, his face serious once more.

"Clover Alice Thurston. Will you do me the great honour of accompanying me to the formal dance?" He smiled, taking both of her hands into his, stroking them softly with his thumb. His hands were rougher than hers, because of his extensive work with them, but she liked them none the less, and that was good for him.

"Well?"

BOONE RAZIEL KEATING

When Clover meekly muttered back a half hearted joke as a response, he'd become sated, the smallest of grins twitching amongst the stubble on his chiny-chin-chin. His only reply was a roll of the eyes and then he was getting back to his work. It wasn't that he was particularly displeased seeing the couple - not like he was plotting their demise and the such - but as far as their anniversay went, he just didn't... care, quite frankly. It was one of those things like people showing you pictures of their lap dog. It's fine and dandy that you have one (by all means, go get twenty of them) but you couldn't possibly expect him to be sitting at the edge of his seat begging you to continue scrolling through your phone's internal memory to show him the "cutest thing Fido did the other day". Still, he meant no harm by it. The kids were happy and that was undeniably nice.

He didn't look up from his papers until he smelled more smoke. He half expected to see Sinclair running about the room like a victim of Nanking (don't google it if you don't already know for fear of mental scarring) but realized quickly that it was just Rhea being Rhea and flicked his eyes back donward... Yet he couldn't seem to turn off his ears. Okay, so he was curious. Who wouldn't be curious about the locket and its effect on the girl? It was a mystery begging to be solved and without him meaning to, it wasn't long before he'd overheard Lennon asking her out. He winced inwardly (outwardly he continued to scribble) expecting immediate rejection. His eyebrows shot up on their own when Rhea actually agreed and he found himself approving of this. He could honestly see them together, when he thought about i-

Wait a second.

Wait a bloody second.

Holy shit, the dance was today. Oh fuck, he had to chaperone.

Honestly, his dreading of the event had less to do with his disdain for being grown kid's baby sitter and more with the fact that the image of Kitty had fluttered into his mind before he'd had the chance to shut it out and now he wouldn't be able to even really speak to her without wondering if it'd be more rude to ask her to go as friends or not to mention it at all. They were planning on hanging out after classes, after all. And now he was picturing her in a silly prom dress slow dancin - Jesus fucking Christ, what was that thinking? By now he'd stopped what he was doing and craddled his face in the palms of his hands. Right then, one Ezekiel came storming into his class room, throwing a bit of a fit, eyes watery and face all scruffed up with that emotion that Boone knew so well. The boy was the hardest out of all of his students for him to see because if anybody knew a taste of his hardships, it'd be him. He looked at the blonde incredulously, mouth opening and closing several times as he tried to come up with a response to the fuming child. Finally he just shook his head and raised his shoulders as if to say, "I don't even know" and answered. "Well, alright then. Welcome to Power Control with Mr. Keating. We're having a test today so I'll just mark your score now and you can sit out later, I suppose." Because, really, what was the harm in that?

Then came skadaddling Chloe and her unfortunate victim. "Oh Mr Keating, you didn't have to wait for us! We were on our way slowly, you could have started." Chloe chirped. He gave her a scowl but he really didn't mean it and he was certain she'd be able to tell. Then she was mentinoing Kitty and he was lickin his lips in attempts to surpress a boyish grin from taking hold of him (unsuccessfully). By the time he'd gotten a grasp on a retort, she'd already said something else about drowning others and the like. "Can it, Huntington." he said with a smile in his voice, waving her off to snuff out the conversation entirely. The girl who'd grown to become a little sister to him knew entirely too much about him, he thought in the moment. She had way too much leverage.

This would be about where he'd start the lesson but then there were other, more teenagey things to be addressed first, it seemed. "Clover Alice Thurston. Will you do me the great honour of accompanying me to the formal dance?" Well, now that his students were all present, he didn't much feel obligated to wait around and listen to more dance proposals. "Oh yes, yes, Lukas. Yes~! Of course I'll go to the ball with you~!" he said in the highest voice he could muster, a mock "so-happy-I-could-cry" reading on his face as he stood from his chair. He suddenly felt a pinch of guilt - this could have been important to the two of them, he'd only just realized. "Er, ah. Sorry. Maybe that was crossing a line or two." he muttered, back with his own vocal chords, his guilty conscience shining through. He glanced from side to side. "Ah, whatever. Go on and answer, then. But after that we're starting the assessment." He had to prepare, anyway. He was suddenly slinking over the the edge of the room, bringing out a small kennel meant to carry yappy puppies or kittens alike and carrying it back over to the front. He waited for the class to settle down, setting the barred cage on a stool front and center and then stood there expectantly.

N O V A

Nova had scrambled off to class as quickly as he could, running down the campus like wild fire. He was missing Cadwell's class, which really was unfortunate. It was the only class in the history of classes he'd ever taken EVER that he didn't excell in. To most, this meant avoiding it at all costs, but to Nova it meant that he almost obsessively tried his hardest - taking down notes and listening as intently as humanly possible to all of the instructions. Being late meant that he'd already be in a funk for the class before it already began. His lungs burned with each heavy breath he took, his chicken legs not doing much of anything impressive for him in the running department.

Yet, he got there soon enough. At least he wasn't missing the actual lesson. When he arrived, out of breath, to the arena, everyone had only just begun walking around to get suited up. He dropped his books in the grass and toppled over, putting a hand on either knee.

"Sorry I'm late, Mr. Cadwell. I was being a forgetful ninny." he explained honestly and earnestly. He then went over to the lockers to grab some armor and smiled when he saw Arissa there. "Hey!" he chimed. "Good morning, 'Rissa. Nothing like a little bit of general humiliation and physical exertion in the morning, huh?" He went through the motions of strapping on the bulky armor, a wry smile on his lips. "How're you?"

Sinclair

Sinclair gives Ava a relieved smile, "Thanks, Ava. You're a life-saver." If Ava had said no, he would have had to go around begging and bribing the other girls. "You know that the dance is the highlight of my year." he drawls, his voice thick with sarcasm.

When Chloe and Everlie sit nearby and Chloe makes a quip about drowning people - staring daggers at Ava as she says it - he kicks the back of her chair. "You bloody well will not!" he scolds, only half-joking, "Ava's going with me to the dance tonight...You can kill each other in the morning, if you must." He's not entirely certain that Chloe wouldn't drown Ava, given an opportunity.

Zeke's dramatic enterance makes him start; doesn't that boy ever just walk anywhere quietly? "God's Zeke! Shut the door a bit louder, please? I don't think that they quite heard that, up on Olympus." When Zeke buries his face in his arms and starts to shake, Sinclair feels bad, for a moment. Is Zeke crying?...No, he's laughing! He balls up a piece of paper and throws it acros at Zeke to get his attention, "Wondeful performance." he hisses, so that Keating won't hear, "Bravo!"

He inwardly applauds Keating when he mocks the happy couple. The guy had his moments, you had to give him that, at least. "Well, looks like Keating wants to take you to the dance, Lukas. What was that you said about being straight?" He'd say something else, but he's distracted when the teacher produces a cage, "You think he's going to put one of us in that?" he asks nobody in particular.

Everlie McCallister

"An assessment? Oh gods. Think we'll survive another one of that man's assessments?" She looked over at her friend. "Last time we had an assessment, I walked away with a bruise the size of a basketball." Unconsciously, Everlie rubbed the side of her leg where she'd gotten the bruise. She'd been training with one of the instructors that Boone had assigned her for the assessment. The teacher definitely knew how to....challenge his students. But the same could be said for Mr. Cadwell. Most of the teachers at the Academy knew how to furthur extend the student's education, but they did it in a way that fit their demigod status.

Walking into Boone's classroom, Everlie noticed a face that was just a bit out of place. Ezekiel. Tucking a stray strand of hair back behind her ear, the girl looked over at him with a raised eyebrow. "Arent you supposed to be in Cadwell's class?" She gave a faint smile, but looked over at Chloe when she heard her talking. Drowning? "No drowning people Chloe. You've doused enough people for now." She smirked, mischief clear in her eyes. The girl was a close friend, and Everlie knew she could be very troublesome at times. She chuckled quietly to herself, sneaking a glance back over at Ezekiel before turning her head back to Keating. "So....this assessment....what exactly are we doing?" She looked at the small cage and something sparked in her eyes. Pure, untainted curiosity. Keating never went easy on his students...so what would he have brought in that only needed such a small cage to keep it contained?

Arissa Adia

As Arissa was getting an armor on the nearby locker she was silently contemplating of who to add on her team. Mr. Cadwell specifically stated that they will have a non-contact battle and she can confidently say that she'd do well. Being a Child of Zeus, Arissa is naturally proud of her abilities. Not only can she produce lightning bolts as she wished and control the static electricity on contact but she is also more powerful than the other demigods. Well that is aside from those Children of Hades and Poseidon but Arissa doesn't really care about them. For her, Zeus is the greatest god of the three and because of that, he is undoubtedly undeniably the strongest. Period.

Having absolute confidence of her ability, she then decided that she might as consider teaming up with Tristan. He's the most bearable person here in this class, and while she knew he can't be that much of help with regards to non-contact battle, she'd rather have him than Juliette any other day. She also really can't imagine herself teaming up with Portia-- 'Honestly what can she do? Hit them with strawberries?' or worse Peter, who is only good for his lying skills. She can't help but cringe imagining them as her team mates.

She had been so absorbed in her musings that when she heard a new voice pipe up next to her, she instinctively let out a surprised shriek and took a few steps backwards. She almost dropped her armor but fortunately caught herself in time. "Good morning, 'Rissa. Nothing like a little bit of general humiliation and physical exertion in the morning, huh?" "How're you?" It was Nova Tricon, who obviously just came in class.

She raised an eyebrow when he noticed his appearance, "Is that grass stains on your pants Nova?" She stared at Mr. Cadwell again and turned back to the boy in front of her. "And yes, I think it'll good for you... the exercise that is," she added not really insulting him but coming of as such.
"I think I'm just peachy. How about you?" She asked in return, trying to be polite.

For Arissa, Nova Tricon is one of the greatest mystery in Olympus. She knew that he is a son of Hephaestus and because of that is a skilled craftsman. She's also aware that he is nice and an optimistic person but that was all the general things she knew about him.

His friendliness with her is another thing, it greatly astounds her. Ever since her childhood, she discovered that most people tend to get far away from her or are just acting friendly with her. It has something to do with her bossiness or endless pursuit for control --or her usual rude and haughty attitude to them, but always without fail she easily gets into the bad side of other people. Not that she minded that. For Arissa, if they don't like her, then she don't like them more. That's it. She won't ever change herself for something the society wants her to.

Not Nova, she can see that he's genuinely amiable and accommodating. For a person who's so clumsy and very optimistic, he's someone you can't hate... he's just so... adorable. Not that Arissa will ever try to tell him about that though.

Clover

Clover raises an eyebrow, amused and surprised, when Keating does his terrible impression of her. She knows that it's not a personal vendetta, and in a strange way, she's quite glad that Keating is comfortable enough to take the piss out of her without fear. Some of the other teacher skirt around her, coddling her like she's made of porcelain and might crack in half if they say the wrong thing."Well, Lukas, it looks like you already have a date..."she gestures their teacher, and wonders, for a moment, what he'd look like in a dress, before she shakes the haunting thought away, "but, yeah, if you want to risk leaving Keating dateless, then I'd love to go with you, sure." She smiles at him, to show that, despite the joke, she's happy. Sinclair's final jibe at Lukas makes her roll her eyes, "Very clever, Clair. Not at all over-done or infantile. she counters, sarcastically, "Your wit is positively Wildean."

"Hey, Chloe, Ev, you just missed Sinclair's attempt at a seduction. It was quite a show." she grins, nodding at Ava. "But, speaking of seduction, what was that about a 'moment' with Ms. Caspary?" She can't imagine Keating hitting on anyone - the mere thought is enough to make her grin. "Poor Caspary!"she jokes.

Ezekiel makes his unexpected entrance, like a blond whirlwind, and she turns to look along with the rest of the class. She watches him for a moment, and is about to suggest that somebody go and comfort him, but then Sinclair throws a ball of crumpled paper at Zeke and she realises that he's just putting on an act; it's common knowledge that Zeke has a blatant disregard for rules.

None of them know for certain what Keating's assessment will entail - he likes to employ the element of surprise - but she hopes that it won't be anything like his last one. She'd ended up with splinters and cuts all over, and she doesn't want to look like that at the dance tonight. When Keating brings out the cage, she eyes it with interest. She laughs at Clair's suggestion that Keating might put one of the students in it, but it's a nervous laugh; she'd been thinking the same thing. "Well, he's not exactly the sort of person who'd buy us a puppy, is he?" she mutters back. She turns to Lukas again, "Definitely should have stayed in bed today."
