Introduction
In the very beginning, there were 3 gods, Gaia and her two children, her son, Sol, and her daughter, Luna. Gaia created the world, Thania and sealed her spirit within it to keep it stable. After she had sacrificed herself for her creation her two children fought each other for control over Thania, turning Thania into a huge warzone. The Humans, Elves and Beast-Folk sided with Sol whereas the Drow, Orcs and Draconians sided with Luna. The war lasted for a bloody 300 years with neither side gaining any ground.
Gaia, still concious within Thania, was heartbroken by what her children had done and used the last of her power to bring peace and divide the planet equally between them. Sol would rule for half a day and Luna would rule the rest. Gaia forced a pact between them that would last for 10 millenia, but those millenia are coming to an end, and tension is growing as the number of monsters is rapidly multiplying and holy ground devoted to each god is being ransacked...
No race now owes allegiance to either god, only to their nation. However, some nations are flowing with many races, such as Gar, whereas some are afraid of outsiders, like Yesterhold.
Lucius rushed outside, worried that he had overslept, failed to turn up to the cart in time and had been left behind. Fortunately, this was not the case. The cart was at a stand-still outside the gate, everyone on the cart seemed anxious to get going, especially the horses who were shivering in the frigid winter's air and padding the ground nervously as if they could sense the peril their passengers were about to be placed in. Lucius climbed into the cart and sat down on one of the 3 benches, pulling the ramp up behind him. He was the last onto the cart, so the cart set off immediately after he climbed on.
As the cart trundled up the uneven path to the moors, Lucius looked over the sides at the moors, moors that had once been so peaceful. Now they were supposedly overrun with demons. Could the prophecy of the End-Times be true? After all, it was only a few months until the next millenium, supposedly the time when Gaia's power over her children would come to an end. No, you have to concentrate on your mission, Lucius. Fear and worry will do nothing but hinder you.
The cart finally ground to a halt at the top of the moors. The driver refused to go any further, scared for his life. Lucius pushed down the ramp and climbed down onto the dirt path. Once everyone was out of the cart and out of the way, the cart raced back down twice as quickly as it had ridden towards the moors. Lucius couldn't possibly imagine why.
Introduction
Five privates in the Garthian military have been sent out on their first mission, a mission to investigate sightings of monsters on Llaregar Moor. They expect nothing more than killing a few vicious animals and returning with news that the moors need to be sealed off to the public, but are reckoning with far more. On the moors, they are to be made the agents of Sol and hurled into a violent struggle against the agents of Luna.
A dark, mysterious figure known only as "The Serpent" has gathered together four other people he has deemed intelligent and/or capable in combat. The Serpent's band of warriors have all received Brands from Luna, markings that increase the existing powers of the bearer, not to mention adding new ones such as different magic and another form. No two brands have the same effect. These brands signify that they are the agents of Luna.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 8 authors
"I don't believe that I have introduced myself yet." Lucius announced to the group, "My name is Lucius Silver, son of the late Sebastian Silver. And what about the rest of you? If we're going to be working together, we should know who we're working with."
"Oh for Luna's sake..." the Serpent scowled as he attempted to get the door to budge, but to no avail.
However, after another few seconds he managed to ram the door down with his shoulder. He stepped into the ransacked cottage, surveying the scene that the monsters had left. Blood was spattered everywhere, the furniture was smashed to smithereens and the walls had multiple holes in them. The Serpent inspected the blood, it had separated some time ago. The house had an attic, so it shouldn't be to hard to hide and wait for the soldiers.
"Right you lot, get in the attic and seal the door shut. I'll make sure the soldiers go where they're supposed to go. You four watch out of the window and make sure you're not seen. If they realise it's a trap or see you, knock them out, kidnap one of them and take him or her to the cave. I'll leave them a message so they know what to do. However, I don't want that happening so make sure to monitor their behaviour at all times. And remember, DON'T kill them!"
With that, the Serpent opened the hatch leading to the attic and pulled down the ladder, gesturing for them to climb up.
ββ¦ Leyawin de Geldor of the Geldor Family of Elevar.β He spoke elegantly but without arrogance. After all, he may have pride in his lineage but he was raised to hold equal respect for all creatures.
"A Geldor?" she said, though not harshly. She took a moment to observe the Leyawin and then continued on, "My name's Annie. Nice to meet the team!" she chimed in her high, honey-like voice, seeming untouched by the sheer seriousness and formality of the situation. Not always, but on occasion, there were whispers and unfounded gossip that sometimes accompanied her family name. She did not intend to take that chance and set that off.
She observed the other soldiers with her, her eyes flickering from detail to detail, person to person, taking in their faces. Some of their faces seemed vaguely familiar, as if she had known them long ago, but she knew this couldn't be right. She pulled her bow from her back and held it in her left hand, letting her hand find the position it had been in, so many times before.
"Well then it is ample time to introduce myself, I am Leon Kenro Parthos. Son of the departed Dracus Parthos." Leon spoke clenching his teeth a bit as he spoke of his fathers name and with a shake of the head he continued "It is nice to meet all of you and may our mission go well." and with a smile he reached his hand out to Leyawin greeting the elf with respect.
"We're going it...there?" She whispered, as Serpent knocked down the large door in front of them. She sighed, and started forward after the others, kicking debre out of her way. As she passed through the doorway, a light chuckle passed through her lips. There were red splatters along the walls and ceiling, and she could only guess it was blood. The furniture was practicly non exsistant, as is was in shambles, seeming as though it was crushed by something very large. Lyra paused only for a second to press her index finger to the redness against the wall. To her surpise, it was dry, although the color said otherwise. Lyra simply shrugged her shoulders, and made her way next to Serpent. The trip her hadn't taken as long as she had expected, and she had plenty of energy to spare.
"Right, you lot." He said, pointing to her and a few others. "Get in the attic and seal the door shut. I'll make sure the soldiers go where they're supposed to go. You four watch out of the window... Lyra didn't hear the rest, as she was already up the stairs to the attic, ready to get started. The stairs the climbed were old, and creaked with each step she took. "Hmmph." She thought. "They definatly arn't going to able to sneak up on us...
Lyra soon reached the top, and walked over to the farthest corner of the room, and sat on her haunches. Reaching up, she pulled her hair up into a loose bun, and leaned back, waiting for her next command.
Running her hand under her hood, she pulled her silvery hair away from her face, sighing heavily once more. Watching Serpent as he told them what to do, she allowed a bored look to paint her fair features. Looking him over, she did not understand what was so frightening about him.
She clicked her nails on her gauntlet together, the metal ringing slightly.
"As you wish," she replied lowly, her voice laced with the venom she was so known for. Show them hatred, anger, and strength, and your enemy will back down before you, her mind whispered.
Ayeala stepped silently up the stairs, leaping into the rafters above her and melding into the shadows displayed around her. Her eyes shimmered in the low light, as though an animal lay up there.
Huffs sounded through the building as her faithful wolf padded its way towards a corner, looking up as it noticed her. Laying down, he never took his eyes from her. "Be calm, my friend," she said to him, which seemed to allow him to lay his head down and close his eyes.
Luka was the last to enter the cryptic house. His paws bounded soundlessly though the door and up its steps. As he entered the musty attic he registered the faces around him. Three elves, very different, and one enigmatic human figure he knew to be the Serpent; his caller in this game. Luka prowled towards the shadows and rested his body against the cold floorboards, waiting.
"Well then... Shall we maybe look around?" she asked her comrades.
They didn't seem to fit each other either. Their hair; tangles and curls of blonde, black, or silver, long or short, slid through the cooling breeze. Their faces, heights, backgrounds, even the way they wore their uniforms, all denoted a ragged band of strangers more than a tight knit group of soldiers. No, communication wasn't there strong suit, it seemed, and as far as being on the same level as each other, they had a long way to go.
She slid her right shoulder out of her uniform overalls, switched her bow hand temporarily, and then slid her left shoulder out as well. The two straps fell to her hips; apparently, as over-sized as the overalls seemed, the slack picked up at the waist, tight enough to keep it there.
It was the hamlet that interested Annie the most.

Yes, thank you for clearing that up. ^^; I wasn't sure, considering she's an elf, as to which side she was on. I will reflect that information in my posts from here on.

Um I have a question about the rp, since we have such a large selection of players should we develop a posting order so people do not get left behind? Just a suggestion

Also, may we be a race other than the 4 shown? (say, a Demon, or just a regular troll)
