Kogarth was still slamming fist after fist into the stone wall when the explosion started. Curiosity caused him to turn around just in time to see the first initial blast, being knocked to his stomach on the ground in the process. Blinking and growling angrily he pushed himself up but was only knocked back down again by another blast of smoky toxic air. His lunged seared from within him, and he coughed violently, trying desperately then to drag himself behind a dumpster but failing. The actual blast came then, and in all but a single breathless moment, there was nothing. His lifeless body lie on the ground then, burned sickeningly and battered.

Saldon dropped from the light and landed on the charred remains of mainstreet. Before him was his payer and he knelt down, as he did he slowly reached up to peel off the fake mechanical eyes and companents. Wincing as the adhesive clung to his fur. When both were off he blinked, one eye was blue while the other was brown. He then slowly reached up and removed the fake resperator and choked a cough as he pulled the tube out. HE then proceeded to draw his hood over his head and remain bowed before his payer. "It was as you said... Kogarth was with her at the time. I tried to seperate them before her energies overwhelmed her... But I was too late and he was lost... Though I know that the pulse from my swords activated the catalysts needed for her to now be in control of such awsome power..." -c-
Saldon | ..." He then slowly looked up into the face of a much older Jaz and he stood when she asked him. "You don't have to pay me... This one was on the house since I failed to save him. May Kogarth rest in peace. HE hung his head then and teleported away, leaving Jaz to her own thoughts.
