An ancient people, first among sentient kind and the builders of the stars and planets the younger races take for granted.

A large valley, created when Dorant the Dragon had landed upon Gaia. By sheer size, the dragon was inadvertently destroying the world. It disappeared suddenly, leaving crumbled mountains in it's shape.

The majestic Exalted Mountains are more than awe-inspiring for those who wander upon them and set eye on the chain of risen earth. While most are fastened to the soils of Siv’en and tied to Mother Gaia, there are some which float lazily in the air and tied by nothing. Long bridges run between them in order to give passage between the portions which hover above the natural ground. Motes of magical energy manifest easily and glide along invisible shifts in the atmosphere.

The Exalted Mountains were not always a part of Siv’en and are only a few thousands of years old. A legend is known for their creation and it is said they were created by the Colossi Ni’thorne which The Precursor had bound. Such legends are found in only the most elder of tomes and scrolls which speak of Siv’en’s history.

A wide range of creatures make their home in the mountains including griffons, manticore, dragons, the great eagles, and even giants and trolls. Every now and then an elemental golem rears its maw and creates havoc on travellers. A system of crypts are found inside of the mountains but travellers beware. Many a soul has been lost to them.

Now after many millennia, an ancient people return from their home deep within one of the highest peaks of the central mountain range, the gate that hid the entrance now opened and all who come with peaceful hearts are allowed entry into the mountain home of the Realm Forgers.

A large valley also sits, the memory of a creature far too large for this planet who came with knowledge for others like he.

Exalted Mountains

You find yourself in the Exalted Mountains. They reign over a fair portion of Skyfall, some thrusting up from Gaia's surface and some floating freely in the air. Bridges reinforced with spells run from mountain to mountain, making safe passage for those that travel into them. Patches of cloud hang around the snow capped peaks giving the Exalted Mountains a sense of mystery. And at the highest point lays a citadel, shimmering in all its glory.
