Setting
As you approach the statue a brilliant green light glows from its base. Lettering pours out onto a sheet of light with a series of symbols you do not initially recognize. Slowly, they seem to meld into the language you're familiar with. It reads;

What is MC(Ӎ)?
- 'MC' or 'Ӎ' are the form of currency used throughout Proxi. If you come from a plane or world that uses a paper currency, you must first have that transferred into a material of value before we can convert it into credits. IE: You must first transfer your USD into its value in gold. Then we may take that gold and transfer it into MC. MC Stands for Multiversal Credits. Most commonly referred to as a unified credit system recognized as value throughout the multiverse. We are able to read your MC card, or MC stone through our arcane devices located and given to anyone who wishes to participate in trade.
- Nationality does not exist within the plane of Proxi. There are several houses and embassies of various multiversal races, political agendas, skill trades, etc... Yet none of them hold any more power over Proxi than the other. This is mostly due to a simple fact that trade on weaponry, artifacts, and currency are so finely monitored that most 'nationalities' are kept within a relative balance. Not to mention what guards this realm between realms is so widely respected and feared that it goes unmentioned.
- Proxi inhabited it's name via it's proximity to everything there is, was, and could be. It is a central hub between time and space. A plane between dimensions. Those living, dead, and inbetween often find themselves adrift through the many gates that lead into Proxi. Some decided to say, and others continue to move on through their lives and afterlives. It has, long ago, and not quite so long ago; become a place of peace and prosperity. Those that discover the "City between the Veil" often find roots in the ever expanding and endless plane.
- It is as simple as paying for a market stall, finding someone to sell your wares, or acquiring your own establishment within the city. All businesses are licensed and maintained through a central registrar, down to the smallest marketeer and entertainer. Everything has value, and the central hub sees to it that it is monitored within the plane. Though morality and ethics seem to be lost when certain things come to mind. It is quite common to find someone who markets body parts, others who run brothels, and all not so far from where you can find your fines ceramics. What is deemed illegal in some realms; is only hardly looked down here. Most things are kept under a general law that there is no willing harm intended. The central hub has larger fish to fry.
- Speaking of laws... There is only one simple law, and it can be read in all languages in various locations throughout the plane. Statues, banners, even several businesses take the 'slogan' up. "Do no willing harm to another being, be it through transaction, action, or indifference." Quite simply put, no violence, no oppression, and do not ignore the harm of another; as you could prevent it.
The Port
After making your way through the rounded entrance of the port buildings; you find yourself in a complex series of walkways, pathways, and stairways... A large winged statue grabs your attention.
