As far as the RP itself, I was thinking perhaps we'd start a year or so before the murder. Just to actually have less confusing characterization. Then, after the murder, if you guys wanted, then the band can struggle through it or something. :(

IDEA:

What if we did this with just the three of us? We could separate NPC's as needed and yada yada. I mean, it's up to you two, but then we could get started sooner, and investigate the characters more, ya know?

Any suggestions on the first scene? I was thinking since it's just us we could start maybe two years (maybe more) before the murder, and then we'll have the beginning of Ashleigh's career, whatever her best friend's up to, and her love at the time.

What about a coffee date or something? The three meet up for a coffee and a chat. It's a good way to introduce any drama or anything, and to introduce our characters.

I would think the bff's aren't quite as close as they were, and maybe the lovers are just accepting feelings, and they're kind of awkward?

I wouldn't think the band was too well-known, if at all. Right?

Two years works! It'll actually be a good place for me to start exploring Louis before fame got to him. Also, I assume he is already her guitarist, yes? It would still make sense because this is probably the first actual gig he's had since he came to America.
