☆ ═━┈┈FACECLAIM: Katherine McNamara┈┈━═ ☆It was the early summer when the news would break free in the local community of Mayfern regarding the newest arrival that would soon be the latest addition to the famous Sullivan family. The Sullivan Family had inhabited the town of Mayfern since the late 1400's starting up the famous Needles & Threads Lunchroom in the early 1600's which is still in business to the modern times. For Michael the youngest son of the Sullivan's was now becoming a father for the first time after his recent engagement to long term girlfriend Amelia Mae Springston. However what was not clear within the greatest news of the recent times was the cunning plan behind their engagement & recent news. For unknown to the many residents of Mayfern, Amelia was the daughter of Cherie & Connor Summers born out of wedlock as a Springston. The Summers family had been in Mayfern almost as long as the Sullivan's themselves however they had not been as lucky in the business section and over the recent years had been forced to close down their long term business The Crystal Games Arcade and declare themselves as Bankrupt. For unknown to most the Summers had a sinister plan..
And that was to take all of the Sullivan's finances through the marriage of their only daughter now that she was pregnant obviously thinking that Michael was sure to inherit the family business due to the fact that he was currently graduating from University with a degree in Finance & Accountancy. However they were far from right on that fact for just five months into the pregnancy, Michael's parents would decide to finally retire and hand down their business to their eldest child Minnie Sullivan whom had been working in the Lunchroom since leaving school at the age of 16 years old when Michael was just 6 years old now aged 36 Minnie had taken over the business leaving Michael in a backwash of debt and an unsure future after his degree had come to a close. This was much to the disappointment of Connor and Cherie whom would forbid their daughter Amelia from seeing him any longer threatening to give her child up for adoption. After all who would want a reminder of the family you blamed for your misfortune everyday for the rest of your life. So obeying her parents words, Amelia would end her relationship with the young man & once her child was born into the world Amelia would leave her new born daughter on the doorsteps of the Sullivan household before leaving town. And this is where our story finally begins...
Like most people who were born as only children Dakota's childhood was absolutely perfect, With being able to do whatever she pleased without worry of money or being told otherwise most of her days the young red head would be seen spending time either inside the Lunchroom with her Aunt Minnie or out on day trips with her beloved father. With being sent to a top notch private school and being one of the most popular children in the town when she was back spending time in Mayfern, Dakota was a bright and intelligent individual with able capability to do more than the average which was much to the acceptance of her higher class family, this would also lead to the fact that she could get her hands on everything her heart desired whether it be the two ponies that she had received for her seventh birthday and that was after a huge farm had been hired out for her lavish party with a well known pop band as the act. That was just one of her many fond memories from her childhood too. Life was pretty sweet for the rich without a single care in the world if she wanted to go to Disney land like most children she could fly the very next day and buy as much as she wanted before and after the arrival.
In fact the fondest memory that Dakota would be able to say from her expensive taste of a past was the day of her tenth birthday, even though Dakota had been schooled away from Mayfern after receiving a letter from her father she would come to discover that she would only be at school for the rest of the week and then a private limousine would pick her up to take her home or so she thought. Days would pass by and soon enough the Friday would come along, so packing her travel bag Dakota would head outside to catch the limo. Heading home soon enough the Limo would pull up outside an unfamiliar place named the Park Grande Hotel in London where she would meet her beloved family before the next day she would travel to a 5* hotel in Dubai for a month long vacation. So it was more than safe to say that the red head wanted for nothing in her early childhood, however that may not have been the case for her teenage years heading into her young adult-hood.
At the age of 13 Dakota would finally be enrolled into her dream school by the name of Leith's where she would begin her journey to become a fully qualified pastry chef and begin her culinary journey for the next 5 years after her father would pay full tuition for the best accommodation and equipment for her journey in the school however sadly things wouldn't go to plan once she would hit the tender age of 16. It had only been three years since her journey of study had began at the school and due to being so far away from home the only time she was able to make it home was during the larger holidays such as summer & christmas. But that would soon change when the most unexpected event would claim the life of her father after a short battle with the terrible disease we all fear cancer. That would leave Dakota completely alone without a mother not that she had ever really cared enough to think about her mother at all, Dakota's life would change forever and not for the better.
Having to gain a scholarship the following autumn when her year was up, Dakota would become a very angry person and unable to control her inner demons often getting into trouble around the school as well as with the police which soon enough would result in her being suspended from the school. Heading back to Mayfern that very day Dakota was extremely nervous about going back home as it would be the first time since her late father's funeral. But heading off the motorway and straight into town Dakota would stop off at her Grandmothers house before heading back to the family home in which she had been raised. Years would slowly pass the young women by and now aged 19, Dakota still struggles to deal with her anger issues and is undergoing therapy in the local town hoping to one day get answers.
But how will she deal when her world is thrown into further jeopardy and she has to face the demons once and for all?
