I think they would know each other since they're from the same village. As far as parings I'll let you guys decide because I don't believe in making pairing. Finally I was thinking if you want your character to know already what he/ she is than that's cool. As for me I am going to say Jack doesn't know cause he's a late bloomer as far as he knows. ^^
