Asgard | Dwelling place of the Gods | Norse Timeline
Asgard, or in Old Norse, Ásgardr, in Norse mythology, was the dwelling place of the gods, comparable to the Greek Mount Olympus. Legend divided Asgard into 12 or more realms, including Valhalla, the home of Odin and the abode of heroes slain in earthly battle; Thrudheim, the realm of Thor; and Breidablik, the home of Balder
It is known for being home to some of the best and greatest warriors to ever exist, as they fought not only bravely and to their last dying breath, but they also fought with honor and respect in combat. This was one of, if not the earliest timelines that had fallen victim to Set. And if the Gods had truly known what was to come, they would have put aside their differences, and done something, anything sooner than they had. They heard of an unknown figure, causing destruction and carnage throughout the Nine Realms, but they thought not much of it. It was only when this same figure breached their border and their world, crossing the Rainbow bridge, that they finally began to take it seriously. But it was too late...Far too late.
This figure, who's name was Set, had brought and unleashed Ragnorak upon Asgard. The Gods were entirely unprepared, and due to this, they were easily stormed and overtaken. As all of the creatures they had locked away for milenium(s), had been unleashed and awoken. Thirsting for revenge. Agard fell, and alongside it, many of the gods and those who had been taken up as Hosts had been wiped out.
Among the chaos, a small handful of survivors managed to escape. But instead of banding together, they scattered all across the Nine Realms, out of fear and desperation for what had happened to their ideal paradise. Rumor has it, that there are still survivors out there, but if they truly are alive, no one has seen or heard from them in hundreds of years...
Mount Olympus | Realm of the Gods | Greek Timeline
In Greek mythology, Mount Olympus was regarded as the abode of the gods and the site of the throne of Zeus. The name Olympus was used for several other mountains as well as hills, villages, and mythical personages in Greece and Asia Minor.
Nearly identical to that of its counterpart on Earth, the Gods, Goddesses, and event Titans and Pantheons had painstakingly recreated this home for the gods in the Northern mountain range of mainland Olympia. All of the Olympians and those among their bloodline, as well as chosen vessels are welcome here, but mortals rarely witness the marble perfection of its halls.
This impossible foundation and realm was once a brave and stronghold for all Gods that reigned over the world, and the immortals that served below them. It was only when an imposing figure, by the name of Set, God of Chaos and Storms had passed through their orders, that the land fell to ruin. Dozens of Gods, Immortals, Titans, and Pantheons and those who were chosen by the Gods themselves, had fallen and failed in the harrowing combat.
The scattered remaining Hosts of the Greek Gods and fellow Immortals had fought long and hard, but their fate was encroaching quickly. In a last ditch attempt at saving the Hosts and Gods that remained, they were sent through a portal to somewhere safe. Somewhere, they'd be able to recollect themselves, and come to terms with what had happened in their own timeline, as Set had become victorious once more, and saw the world and timeline fall to ruin. Hoping and praying, they'll find some form of help to right the wrongs that had been opposed on them, and another timeline that has been chosen by Set...
Cairo | Tombs & Crypts of the Gods | Egyptian Timeline
What once was simply known as Ancient Cairo, where the Gods and Goddesses ruled over and protected the land by any outwards force that wished to attack or take claim to their land. Large, titan sized statues and figures loom eerily across the landscape, and any important landmarks. Which, the people regard as sacred artifacts and pieces of history.
The old Gods are well regarded and feared by the locals, and tend to still be worshiped and raveered by anyone who lives among the golden sands that surround the country. Everyone knows of the stories that surrounded the Gods and Goddesses on Earth. How eventually, they retreated to some place unknown as people had stopped worshiping them for a time, and seemingly forgot them over time. Causing them to lie dormant and away from the world, and any prying mortal eye.
Little do the Gods know, just how imminant the return is near, of one of their own, who had been banished thousands of years ago. The ancient Gods of Egypt had buried the truth of why Set had been truly banished, not only from their ranks of Gods, but also from this plane of existence. But, because they have gone forgotten for so long, their strength has weakened over time, as their enemy has grown ever stronger, and is bound to return soon with an untamable bloodthirst and hunger for revenge against those, who had banished him and sent him off to exile, all those years ago...
