Katze gave a smile and led her away from the living room toward the kitchen. "Then in order to play a game properly and without pause or fatigue, one must fuel themselves properly first." He took her to the counter were Odelia had left the case of drinks. He stole one bottle and ripped through the plastic as he had before, and gave it over to Tally. Then he took the rest of the case for himself.

"If it is not animate, can you miss it? Do you miss keys or lose them? But if they were taken, are they stolen? And if they left willingly, did they run away? But how does something inanimate 'run away' without legs?" He looked of his shoulder at Tally with a lifted brow. Then he turned to the rest of the kitchen and, like any animal, started to sift through it. "Fuel, fuel, fuel... how tasty would this fuel be? Take one, or two, or maybe a few more. I'm sure it would come in handy one way or another."

He gestured with his tail for her to take part. They could steal this away to some place they could play. Somewhere where there was fun involved.

Tally followed to the kitchen and, feeling saddened by the fact that she had to let go of his comforting hand, Tally took the drink from Katze. She took a small sip, then a bigger sip, then a gulp. But goodness this Frap-a-chino drink was good.

Tally wasn't sure if Katze wanted a response or not, so she nodded her head to show that she was paying attention and understood what he said. Then with a laugh, she started opening cupboards and looking for "fuel" with which they could eat. She found a good many things which looked edible; the barbeque lays looked especially tasty. So with arms full of snacks she turned to Katze and asked "Now where do we go, with our arms full of fuel, in order to play these games, on those who might call us fools?" She was ready to have some fun that didn’t involve her normal routine.

Tally had never spent much time with Katze, but had heard a great deal about the tricks he played on those in wonderland, especially the tricks he played on the queen. She had always shown curiosity when people spoke of the tricks Katze played because they were so far out of her norm she found them intriguing. Now she would experience firsthand what this cat did for fun.

Katze found a couple boxes with strange characters on them. "Cereal" they were called, it seemed, and he gladly took them hostage. With several items of food in his arms, even one balancing on his tail, he gave the kitchen another look around before he turned and nodded back out of the kitchen. "The best way to avoid trouble is to not be seen or caught, especially not in the act."

He wandered out into the hall and gave another not toward the stairs. "When in war, an old adage advises that the high ground is much better than the low ground. So warriors set up fort upon hills and mountains that overlook the valley and plains below." Nimbly climbing the steps, he went over to a spot where the second floor opened up and looked over the living room below. He sat down on the carpet and placed his food around him. Then he gestured for Tally to join him.

Roza got comfy lying on Bri, she watched as Katze sat on the floor and usually she would make a witty remark but she was too happy for that.

Skippy followed fiona to her room, everything around himself was fascinating and interesting. He couldn't help himself from touching every strange thing he passed. Until he came to fiona's room .... It was very pretty, and the bed was so tempting, but it wasn't time to sleep as they were watching a film.

Tally giggled at Katze's balancing act and followed him as quietly as she could out of the kitchen, although her packages crinkled when she moved. "This is good, as being caught would be bad, and then scolded we would be." She spoke quietly hoping that she wouldn’t draw attention to them.

Tally followed Katze up the stairs and sat down with their ill gotten goods. Tally spread hers around her and next to Katze's food. Then she took another of many sips of the drink that she was really drinking far too much of. She suspected as she frowned at the bottle that she was forming an addiction to it. "So, now that we have munchies, which by the way look delectable, what do we do?"

Katze gave a small, quiet chuckle. "Why, what else do you do with food except eat it? Do they walk? Do they talk? --Well, maybe some do, but that's a certain kind of barbarianism that's not quite couture." He brought one of the cereal boxes close and opened it up, uncurling the plastic inside to stare at the little bits that smelled faintly of sugar. He reached in and took a handful and gestured for Tally to hold out her hands.

Fiona smiled as she led Skippy around. She let go of his hand so she could rummage through her stuff, rifling through loads of junk that she never really put away properly. "Darnit, where did I put it?" she muttered to herself. Then she ducked in her closet for her box of old goodies. Maybe she put the movie in here.

"Yes, yes of course." Tally murmured blushing at her own stupidity. She held out her hands, eyes down, and sniffed at the smell the box was letting off. Her mind wandered for a few moments, as she thought back to the last real food she had eaten. In wonderland, tea and cookies had been her form of nourishment. Often she would grow or shrink in size, so she only trusted that food which she knew did not change the size of the person who ate it.

Katze carefully dumped the handful of "cereal" in her hands and grinned. "Water is essential to the body but did you know it can also be used against it? A water pistol, for example, can be both helpful and harmful, depending on what sort of pistol and who holds it."

He gathered a handful for himself and dared to sample a piece. Unlike in Wonderland, there were no immediate effects of growing or shrinking. He didn't change color either, nor change into a different being. It was virtually harmless, just like the drink. With a nod at Tally, he encouraged her to have a few pieces herself, chewing on a sugary rainbow that almost stuck to his teeth. He wondered what it was made of.

Katze dumped the cereal into Tally's hands and she smelled the rainbow pieces. Gingerly she lifted one and put it into her mouth, almost immediately she sighed and put another piece in. It was so good, just like the sugar that she put into her tea, and more colorful too. She examined her arms and saw that indeed she had not shrunk to the size of a daisy. "I did not know that, no indeed, but why would one commit some dreadful deed?" She thought of what Katze had said about the water pistol, then prayed silently that the queen never got hold of one.

"These are tasty foods indeed." She said, after her handful was finished. Tally moved to open the bag of barbeque potato chips, with ought hesitation she popped one chip in her mouth and smiled. It just tasted so good! Far better than anything she had eaten in wonderland. She shifted the bag so that the opening faced Katze and smiled.

Katze smiled back as he saw the offered bag and turned to give it a curious sniff. It smelled rather strange, but not unpleasantly so. He reached in and pulled out a few chips of reddish color. "Hm..." he hummed in thought, then gave it an experimental bite. His ears twitched in surprise at the flavor. "Why, I do believe I like those," he said and lifted his gaze to meet Tally's.

The Cheshire grabbed a few more in his palm and munched on them, savoring the new taste. When he finished, he absently licked at his hand, lapping up the flecks of seasoning that stuck to his fingers and palm. "A curious treasure, I've found. I wonder, a miniature prison? Or perhaps it's merely a coincidence that the creatures inside look like animals on a rather... small scale."

He reached for the red box and opened it, revealing dozens of little tan colored cookies that were in the shape of animals. Katze held up one that looked like a cat.

Tally nodded her head in agreement. She continued to eat the chips and the addicting drink, until it was gone. Pouting a little, Tally met Katze's eyes. "Um," She stuttered, mind going blank. Her face flushed and she looked quickly down. Her empty bottle sat by her right hand.

"Maybe the animals have shrunk." Tally muttered, still looking down, but glancing to her side to see the curious box that Katze held. She lifted her gaze and giggled when she saw the face Katze had as he examined the cat shaped cracker "Well, he certainly isn’t as hansom as you... It is a cat yes?" Tally reached into the box and pulled out a creature with a long neck. "What is this?" She exclaimed, eying the creature closely.

"Perhaps," he muttered in reply as he looked curiously at the little animal. It was hard to touch and he wondered what would happen if he pressed too hard. Would the cat be hurt? It made no noise upon being picked up. Neither did the other animals.

Glancing over at the one Tally had, he tilted his head one side and stared. He'd never seen it before. "What a wonder it is to be a creature with no known name, yet to have brothers that surely shared it." He nodded down at the box and fished around for another like it. He held it between his fingers until -- all of a sudden -- it snapped!

Katze's ears jerked up in surprise, his tail curling high behind him as he stared at the two halves of the animal that fell into his lap. "...An animal that doesn't scream or bleat or cry... do you know of such a being?"

Tally jumped in her seat when she heard the snap of the cracker, then she burst out laughing. It really wasn’t all that funny, but Katze just looked so adorable with his ears up and his overall reaction. "I'm sorry." She managed covering her mouth with both hands, the smile still bright in her eyes. Recovering from her laughing fit, Tally managed a straight face as she answered his question.

"Such a being of which, indeed, I have never heard. Maybe it’s not a living creature at all, but food, like this drink and sugary rainbow and powdered potato." Her rhymes were not even rhymes anymore. Tally let out a small sigh. She had never been good at rhymes anyways, that was Tammy's job. With ought thinking Tally put the cracker in her mouth and chewed. "Oh!" she said in surprise."It is very good! Just try it, you will see!" She grabbed another out of the box, careful to avoid the cat shaped one, and ate it with relish.

Katze stared at her a moment, not at all offended by her laughing, though it did give him a start and made him blush ever so faintly. Rather, it was her daring and bold move to bite the little animal that caught him off guard. Still no bleating or screaming or crying could be heard. Just silence, and the munch-munch-munching of Tally's teeth as she ate the cracker. Making a daring move himself, he picked up the two halves of the animal he'd accidentally broken and popped them in his mouth.

He gave it a taste, then chewed, and why-- she was right! "Fancy that! Cannibalism that isn't quite so grotesque!" He reached in for another, finding another animal with an extremely long nose. "Though, I must say, I'm still rather reluctant to eat my own kind." He ate the long-nosed creature too before he lifted the cat-like cracker and danced it around in the air.

Tally smiled "Can cannibalism really be its name, when they are not creatures of your kind at all?" His reaction to the crackers was so... she couldn’t think of the word, but her eyes sparkled. This was indeed fun. She watched as he danced the cat around in the air. "Then don't eat the cat, save it instead for a memory, indeed you must have a bag or hat, so that you can save those special memories."

She herself had a purse, which was drying in the bedroom she had changed in, where she kept all the things that meant something to her. Her father’s bow-tie was in there, along with his favorite poem. There was also a photograph taken by Alice of the original group from wonderland. She had many things from Tammy, and her wonder-pod.

Katze paused and looked at the little cat. Then, with a nod, he put it aside. "How would a mother feel to see her children subject to such cruelty? What an unusual creature I must be, to want to save them despite our obvious differences."

He reached into the box and gave it a shake, taking out all the little "cats" and setting them aside on the carpet. Then he reached for a new drink, his old one finished, and opened it, taking a sip after giving it a good shake. "I'm addicted to these things..." he noted, and held out the bottle in case she wanted a sip herself. He didn't mind sharing, so long as there was more left. Which there was.

Tally nodded her head in agreement and took the drink he offered. She knew that she should only take a sip, that was the polite thing to do, but she found herself taking a large gulp. With a sheepish smile she handed back the bottle. "Yes, very addicting drinks those are." She grabbed another of the many food items she had brought with her and opened it. She ate until she was full.

"Well I do not believe I could eat another bite, although another sip... er... gulp of that drink would more than suffice. Now I do believe we need a new sort of game to keep our entertainment. But what can we do that won’t be too repetitive. And weren’t we supposed to begin a.... a.... mooovie?" She asked, tidying up around her a little as she spoke.

((I have no earthly clue. I can't even think of anything to write to stall until they come and reply.))

Katze munched at a slower pace, his focus driven on the drink. He liked it too much and reminded him of milk, only sweeter and by far more different. He liked both, but favored this one better. Perhaps he could ask Odelia or Fiona or even... that strange boy Bri to get him more.

"A strange game that is, a 'movie,' one that doesn't ring a bell. Do we run? Sit? Walk? What are the rules? Are there teams? Or is it simple like just now with our crackers and other food things?" He tilted his head and swept his tail across the ground, pushing some of the stuff together into one area before he reached out and picked up his little cat crackers.

"...These cats do not deserve a cage, but a new home would be nice and appreciated I'm sure if they had mouths to mewl with."

((Hey m00se, sorry, it's taken me longer than I thought it would to respond.))

Tally nodded her head, looking down at the living room and thinking.

"If it were a game indeed,
You would think there would be teams,
But no one seems to be moving,
So maybe we sit during the movie.
Or, maybe it is a form of entertainment,
Like our own tea parties and games..."

She trailed off. Watching as Katze moved the cat animal crackers. What he said was true, the cats certainly didn’t deserve a cage, even if they were items of food, and she turned to him then said

"I could put them in my bag,
Then when to wonderland we return
You could make them not a cage
But a home with you."

She tried to remember exactly where her bag was, then remembered that it was still with her pile of wet clothing, which by now should be almost dry. Tally found that she was growing quite use to the clothing that she was wearing now, and wondered if the girl... Odelia, would mind if Tally kept them. She would give her something in return, of course, because nothing comes for free, especially not with the daughter of Tweedle-Dee.
