Please note that I have added a bunch of background info about the setting into the front page of the RP describing the political situation and so forth, under "present lives" If people have stuff to add, including fictional clans, places etc of note then let me know. :)

I will move everything around once I'm back at my computer instead of iPad.

Sounds good. I'm gonna be on and off myself this next week. trying to finish up Term 2 school work, then come May 1st, I start my employment practicum at a car dealership until May 31st. So I might be a bit MIA.

not to mention the surgery I have May 18th, and my pre-op appointment on Wed the 26th. during this time I will not be online if at all. :D

How do you people feel about using dice to help resolve combat? I will probably use them for when I play a bunch of NPC baddies just to give things a little bit of unpredictability. Not going so far as to give people stats and so on, but just to make them roll a d20 or something to see how successful the intended action is. Do people like using dice, or do you prefer resolving everything just through writing? I'm easy on it either way! :D

As for my Surgery, it will be a two week recovery before I feel like I can breath normally again. I will be going in the night before since my surgery is early morning, so I will not be online May 17th, or May 18 (Day of Surgery) and possibly the 19th. If it is my turn to post I will try to get something together. Please be patient with me.
I'll be super stoked to be able to breath again! XD XD 2 weeks out of the next 50 years ain't bad :)

YES breathing is GOOD! Good luck with it all, I hope it goes well. Obviously we will all be patient. (Lol, patient... no pun intended.)

Oh with the dice I was thinking something along the lines of:

Character wants to hit bad guy with x attack. Player rolls a D20. This tells them how well their attack succeeds. 1=bad 20=good and everything else on a sliding scale between. It just gives a bit more variety in how you can play combat, since it's tempting to want your character to do well every time.

I can give you an example if you like. But yeah, I'm happy with just writing it out instead. Some people like the random element and some don't. :)
