They are all best friends. Known each other in diapers. They swam together, bathe together, ate one another's food. It wasn't high school that hanged them but their parents. They are now engaged, and everyone seems to have something to tell the rest.

Whenever I see something like this I have to do research so here it is...


My research on the names…

Nathaniel means "Gift of God"
An elegant, slender gent, with generations of family history in his New England town, Nathaniel is a well-bred preppy who gets down to earth with his nickname Nate.

Nathan is actually is short for Nathaniel
Whereas Nathaniel is an elegant, preppy New Englander, Nathan is his boisterous Brooklyn cousin. Think of Coney Island hot dogs and singing gamblers in zoot suits, like Nathan Detroit.

Nate is Short for Nathan, or Nathaniel
Like the hero of the kids' book series Nate the Great, Nate is sharp-witted and friendly.
