I'd like to join. However, I can't magically butt in, so I'd need whatever is happening. For short: A summary, and that could come in handy for more newcomers.
As you can see, I always had trouble with height and weight fields.
Name: Mariah Fatesblade
Age: 19
Height: 1,75 meters?
Weight: Really can't do that.
Character Description: Mariah is a pretty much pretty woman with long silver hair that is tied at neck height and reaches her knees. She has orange eyes, and a small scar across her right eye. Mariah dresses in a black rough jacket with white edges, with a gray shirt underneath. Her lower body is covered by a dark gray skin suit and she wear black boots. Perhaps one of the most notable things of Mariah's outfit are her fingerless gloves.
Though Mariah isn't utterly laconic about war anymore (see history), she is still rather odd, and can be painful to deal with: She's not all that serious unless a real threat shows itself, and it sounds like she seems to enjoy whatever she does. This is not always true, however. She also seems very silly, which can be proven by the Simple Input System being called SIS.
Mariah always had pinpoint accuracy and superior reflexes, and though she can pilot most mecha normaly, slow mecha hamper her severly. The Freibeuter, whose purpose is to destroy the lines before it's soldiers know it, adds perfectly to Mariah's style.
Character History: (Now that Freibeuter has been approved, only few more changes have to be made)
Mariah's life was normal until her 16th, when she concluded she was dying, from boredom of course, in her place. She then left and joined the military, because she 'favored excitement over boredom as her 'killer''. Mariah was given a Gespenst, even after scans detected abnormal reflexes and pinpoint accuracy, which later were proven: Whatever battle she fought with the not overly fast mech, she came out on top. The feats in battle became more and more impressive, the most notable being actually blowing holes with the Jet Magnum attack, sometimes penetrating the cockpit or wherever the pilot was. After fighting for a few years at the lines, Mariah became a legend among the soldiers and the lowest officers.
However, Mariah was being hampered for quite a while by the 'clumsiness' of the mech, so she went to the TLI and requested the Freibeuter. After taking a good look at the plans, the developers first found the severe lack of armor and long range (it still has mid-range) capabilities suicide, but the second thought was different: They were talking about Mariah here. Finally the developers agreed, and Mariah has been fighting with the Freibeuter for some months before getting transferred to *Okay, now I don't know, likely depends on route*
Route: Dunno. Again, waiting for summary.
Mech:
Name: (PTX-018-0) Freibeuter, nicknamed Freibeuter Zero
Height: 22.9 Meters
Weight: 58.9 tons
Piloting Method: Manual, along with Simple Input System for backup
Appearance: Though the Freibeuter technically is based on a Gespenst, I will be using the Wildfalken as of how the Freibeuter looks.
The Wildfalken looks like this:

(For some reason I can't use [URL] tags)
The most distinguishing thing about the Freibeuter is it's head: It has a visor right over where it's eyes would be, and an simple comb that starts on top of the head and reaches the end of the head. A major difference between the Freibeuter and the Wildfalken is the wings: Whilst the Wildfalken has many wings, the Freibeuter has one pair of wings that can be (un)folded somewhat, allowing the wings to spread when the Wing boosters must be used. The Yachihoko is sheathed at the left 'hip', and the dark red scabbard has two openings, due to Yachihoko's hook. This scabbard has to open horizontally when the Yachihoko has to be pulled out.
As for the rest of the armor, it looks a lot like the Wildfalken's, but it's slightly thicker, and the Freibeuter doesn't have high heels (look well and you'll see those of the Wildfalken).
This Freibeuter, the Freibeuter Zero, is black and dark silver, which happen to be Mariah's colors of choice.
Weaponry/attacks -
Vulcan: Having many more powerful, efficient weapons, Mariah often just ditches this weapon in favor of the alternatives. However, when there is no other choice, because things go wrong, for example, these vulcans in the Freibeuter's chest have to be used. As with many vulcans, the ones of the Freibeuter have regrettable power, and hardly do damage unless weak spots are exposed.
Stake Rifle: This rifle with a stake on it is one of the Freibeuter's four exceptional firearms. It fires bullets with decent power, but just firing it isn't the best way to go: Adding to the riskiness of the Freibeuter, the way to deal damage with this rifle is to dig the stake, which can be charged, into the enemy, and then fire.
Muted Claymore: This weapon has the biggest range of the Freibeuter's weaponry. Whilst a claymore makes a lot of noise (provided there isn't a vacuum), the TLI managed to mute this claymore almost completely: It is so quiet when fired that enemy pilots won't hear it, and some measures have been taken to make the explosive claymore shells harder to detect. The Muted Claymore is perfect to pick off busy enemies.
Twin Railguns: These two, somewhat small railguns, can fire beams pretty rapidly. Wielding them simultaneously allows Mariah to target two enemies at once or practically swamp one target with railgun fire.
Yachihoko: This hooked katana, about 16 meters in length, is sheathed at the left 'hip' of the Freibeuter. It makes a for a powerful melee weapon, but for Mariah, it's the favored form of attack. Mariah knows several tricks and techniques with it (two of them are stated here), and she prefers them over simple Yachihoko use and, in some cases, the firearms.
Life Snatch: This is possibly by far the most dangerous technique Mariah has mastered, and derives from the time she still blew holes with plasma stakes. The Freibeuter will use all boosters to reach sonic speed, and using that speed, the Yachihoko will be thrust right where the cockpit is, or, if the opposing mech doesn't have a cockpit, the weakest spot. The katana will need some moving to tear out any vital systems when it gets pulled out. The good thing about this technique is that it can be lethal if Mariah manages to hit the eventual pilot with the blade, or tears out vital systems. The bad thing, aside the energy drain, is that exceptionally sturdy units will have little to fear, and the damage is very limited if Mariah's aim is off and hits a less important spot. Also, due to it being rather cruel, Mariah tries to limit it's use.
Complete Raid: If there are enemies well protected against Life Snatch, or Mariah simply isn't in the mood to use it, she turns to the most complex tecnique she has. The Freibeuter puts it's boosters on, but Mariah keeps mobility in mind, because that's the main aspect used for this technique. Once the first strike has hit, Mariah is virtually free to continue with an assault at high speeds from many different sides. The enemy will always have the Freibeuter near it, ready to land the next array of attacks. With all the maneuvering, it makes sense that this technique drains the most energy of all attacks.
Defensive capabilities -
Torso: The torso is way thinner than a Gespensts, but it at least is more sturdy and thicker than one of the Wildfalken, due to TLI simply not agreeing with the specified amount of armor. A powerful energy field was planned, but it's moderately powerful because the costs needed to be tuned down.
Back booster: This large booster was placed in the back of the Freibeuter, minimally adding to the weight, and promoting speed. However, the placing also makes it the weakest spot.
Wing boosters: Another group of small boosters was placed in the wings. Needless to say, this further promotes speed.
Feet boosters: Lastly, some boosters were placed in the feet, which main purpose is to improve maneuverability.
Tesla Drive: As this unit is meant for destroying enemies before they know it, the Freibeuter just needed a Tesla Drive. Combined with the many boosters, this Tesla Drive makes the Freibeuter at home in sky or space.
Simple Input System: The Simple Input System was already partly made, but because it wouldn't fully work, it was stored away. Now that the Freibeuter needed some correction, Mariah requested that system. The Simple Imput System, abbreviated SIS by Mariah, records the thoughts of Mariah and responds according to it. On it's own however, it won't be able to control a mech.
EDIT: Now that Mariah also happens to be approved, now checking if I can make an entrance (thus filling in route as well).
