Alphonso was walking along a dusty dirt ridden trail in the dead of night alongside his partner Rinstoshi. The moon cast a faint and eerie glow upon the path when it was visible through the thin cloud cover but he was used to this after all he had been traveling like this for about a month and a half now. He had pissed off the wrong people plain and simple and now he made it a point to only travel by night and preferably only nights when the moon didn't shine to bright.

The people Alphonso had angered were the Klashiv clan of the village named Velince. The money he had paid them for information on his parents (which turned out to be bad anyways) was fake which wasn't a problem at the time but when the Klashiv realized it they started sending out their best hunters and trackers to take him down. He didn't think anything was wrong and believed that he had gotten off scotch free until a man with a huge scythe tried to slice his head clean off. At that point he knew he had to start running.

Never before had Alphonso done anything wrong in his life, all he wanted to do was find out more about where his parents had left him to go so he could try and find them. This was clearly to much to ask and everywhere he went someone ended up trying to kill him over it. This is why he developed his skill in assassination for when the people he was trying to get the information from either wouldn't give it or tried to ask way to much for it.

"So Rinstoshi what town are you leading me to this time?" Alphonso asked as he walked down this path that was covered in dirt and small rocks towards a destination that he didn't know the name or the looks of.

''Well my friend, we are heading to the city of Al' Cathar. There has to be someone who knows your parents, after all, its a big city.'' The darker moonlight indeed helped Rinstoshi's sense of sight, the sun was to blinding reflecting off his own fur. The scent of people darting around for last minute shopping was clear. They were definatley close to the city.

How Rinstoshi ran into Alphonso for a companion was still like a puzzle. After all Alphonso is an assassin type, and him being a silvery white, did not help him stalk in the shadows. It seemed as if a random comical view from whatever god there may be. One that was so quiet and stealthy to be stuck with another that could easily stick out like a sore thumb.

Indeed the dire wolf was not to horribly common, it could tear down a horse easily. But still slightly slower then one. Rinstoshi was proud of what he was. It gave his new friend the choice to get distances faster by riding. He was well over three quarters the size of a horse. The great words always sturck through his heads, 'with great power, comes great weaknesses'. As he saw the top of the eastern gates come into view he spoke again to Alphonso ''There it is, you go on to the main district. I shall meet you around the trade district, for i am going to get food.'' He did enjoy the fact that at many cities random people would toss the wolves food.

Alphonso saw the slowly approaching city and with gone decided it would be best to simply walk up to the front gate and waltz right in, hopefully the Klashiv wouldn't be around in this town or he would surely be in for a fight. He figured that he could handle himself though as long as the opponent wasn't too strong. A memory of the battle with the scythe wielding man was now fading into his mind and he closed his eyes and walked along the path in a straight line to the village.

It was a bright day and the sun was reflecting off of Rinstoshi's fur in a manner that made him look as though he could have been an angel in the shape of a wolf. Alphonso was laying in the grass under the shade of a tree trying to get some rest when a man came up and spoke out to him saying, "Hello there Alphonso at least i hope that's your name, though i don't think i could get it wrong considering the clothes your wearing stick out mighty well in this day and age." At that moment Alphonso knew something was up no one ever came looking for him and this man had a voice that Alphonso just didn't seem to like.

Jumping up from his spot under the tree Alphonso ripped off his coat and threw it to the side so that he would have easy access to his daggers. This clearly made the man, who had now pulled out a scythe happy and he began to laugh. Alphonso launched at the man head on which wasn't usually his strategy but at this point he didn't really have a choice. The large scythe wielding man batted him off to the side like he was a small fly.

Alphonso slammed into Rinstoshi and fell to the ground which made Rinstoshi stagger backwards and almost fall as well. Alphonso quickly recovered and got up as Rinstoshi moved in front of him. They were both ready to attack the man with the scythe now and knew that they could win as they had the clear advantage. Rinstoshi rushed at the man with claws an teeth at ready as Alphonso rushed in right behind him. Jumping forward Rinstoshi was bashed off by the man giving Alphonso the perfect chance to strike which he took advantage of and hit dead on in the man's stomach. Alphonso ripped his blade out of the scythe wielding man's stomach and watched him bleed onto the green grass below him. Suddenly the man reached his scythe up into the air and struck it down on Alphonso who moved back but was still caught in the left leg by the scythe's long blade. Alphonso reared backwards as the mans head was torn into by Rinstoshi's claws, there was no hope of survival for that man now.

Alphonso was awoken from his memory by the dull thudding of him smacking into a guard. He looked up, dazed at the guard who looked back showing a little confusion due to Alphonso's strange action. Alphonso quickly recomposed himself and walked through the gates to the city ignoring the guard who was now asking him questions. As he walked through the city he realize that it was much, much larger than most and like Rinstoshi said could likely host a person who would tell him where his parents had gone to or at least tell him more about why they left. He now walked the city street wondering where to even begin in looking for this someone who would know of his parents.

Rinstoshi wandered through the town, walking up to a few choice stalls, where men with meat stood. He would pick up his paw and gently place it on the top of the counter. Repeating this process many times, to every counter, they each threw him a descent sized peice of meat. All of which he swallowed without chewing. It did not take to horribly long, due to the people in this city were kind and generous. He decided to turn around and follow Alphonso who was barely going out of sight. He did not want another incident like the scythe to happen again.

He watched the wolves that were about half the size of him zip around at high speed. He gently put down the slab of meat he was carried in his mouth. And sat to watch two wolves chomping away at it, then continued to follow Alphonso. ''Remember, some of these people may not tell the truth. The best way might be to just break into the trade records, which are probably in the bank house.''

The moonlight shined upon the stones that helped make the road. The torches to the sides glowing ever so gracefully. The very thing they used to keep warm in their homes on a cold night, they would use to light their streets. But the alleys had barely any light, for even the moonlight was cut off from the other buildings. But yet the roofs sparkled from the water from a past rain. Creating the illusion of being stars themselves.

The image of a waterfall leading into a long river clouded his mind. Trees were surounding the spot, but they weren't so dense to cut off a light. Hearing the gentle music of the water rushing through the rocks. Snapping back to reality he turns back to Alphonso, who again has a descent lead on him. Quickening his pace he catches up and walks by his side.

Salina pulled the hat lower so as to hide her features better. Leaning against the walls of the dark street, lit by the orange glow from a few lamps, she glanced about, watching for any of the guards. She stood there for a few moments before joining the steady stream of people moving down the street to join the rest of the crowd near the market.

Keeping her head low at all times, Salina did not even falter in her steps. Reaching her destination, she slipped through the crowd, unnoticed by many, to slip into another alley. As soon as she was away from the noise of the crowd, Salina pulled her hat off and carried on walking at the same pace. She knew the allies of the city very well and could find her way without really looking. As she turned about the twisted allies, a cloth was pulled out from the pockets of her coat. Releasing the blades from her bands around her wrist, Salina cleaned her blades, leaving the cloth stained with a red liquid. Satisfied that her weapons were clear of any evidence, she tossed the cloth to the side and pressed her wide brimmed hat back onto her head, ensuring her hair was tucked underneath.

Just before slipping back into the crowd at the market, Salina allowed herself to pause for just a second. Taking in a deep breath and rubbing her hands together, the assassin stepped back into the market place. This time, she was at the other end, nearer to the city gates. Tilting her head backwards, Salina let out a low whistle that most ignored as it was directed to only one other creature; her companion.

Uschi, the brown kodiak bear, almost looking like part of the land scape around her, layed on the ground, surveying the clearing. A large field with tall, green grass, gently swaying in the breeze. With randomly place out croppings of gray stone mounds, with the occasional mound of brown dirt, almost entirly made of sand. The way ward sides gently sloping to the east, blowing the deep brown long fur out from the solem bear's eyes.

She waited, for what she didn't know, but she felt like waiting. She had been waiting in this field for the past few days, leaving only for food. She felt as if she must wait in this field. 'I will wait' she thought to her self she nodded and kept up her vigil of her clearing.

Jakeisha was looking around in her cage and was looking at all of the other animals here..All of them trapped til their companions came..that is if they ever came..She was smart enough to know that waiting helped her get things so she just ran around her medium sized cage and the saw her food hanging in a high place. She had figured out a way to knock it down now, she climbed up the side of the cage leapt on to her food stick and nibbled. Then she leapt off and landed in her sand bath and began to roll around...As she could not touch water as it would kill her.

Zuri didn't know where she was going, or why. She only knew that she was being drawn in this direction... and that the sun was hot, relentless as it beat down upon her back. Her black lips were chapped, as she'd gone without water for a while. Wearing the signs of her last kill, a small plains wolf, the brown fur only covered the top half of her torso, and formed a sort of loincloth at the bottom. Her long, built legs were bare as she kept moving, ebony skin glistening with sweat in the sunlight. The only possession she carried with her was a big oak bow over on shoulder, which had crafted herself. In town, a while back she'd bought a quiver, with a leather strap going around her opposite shoulder. Her quiver held a total of five arrows, basically long sticks with a fatal point at the end (also made by herself.)

Despite the flatness of the plains, the large bear seemed to be part of the scenery. Zuri didn't realize her presence until she was almost upon her. Quickly shifting into position, she pointed an arrow straight at the brown mass, ready to shoot only if the bear posed a threat. Parting lips and scowling, brown eyes narrowed and her expression was that of one who killed out of necessity, and wasn't afraid to do it again if she felt it was justified.

Alphonso looked at Rinstoshi and said, "okay then we'll go to the bank house and hopefully find something there." It was a good idea, not something Alphonso could have thought of even if it was simple. He had never been one to think things through until he was actually in the situation which is likely why he never realy seemed to succed on most of his prior missions. Though he was working on it he still needed much more practice.

Alphonso and Rinstoshi would approach the bank house soon and he needed to think of some form of plan to get in. This would be a much bigger robbery than he had been used to in the past so it was a good idea to plan ahead, or at least try. He couldn't do much until they saw the bank and its structure so he walked along the dimly lit path, turned to Rinstoshi and asked, "How deep is it in the city?"

''Not that far actually, we could easily exit the eastern gates withing five minutes of grabbing what we need.'' He smiled, but of course this is if they were running the whole time. The bank was only two blocks away from the gates. The torches would make an opening, for they could only light so far, darkness was indeed on their side.

''I say we should just break in there, i didn't see any other dire wolves, therefore the only thing we should worry about is two many gaurds. Or a skilled wolf of speed, then again thats a fifty fifty'' He started to walk towards the bank, only stopping to turn back looking at Alphonso. ''Well?''

"I've no better ideas so that sounds good to me." Alphonso said as he walked forward and saw the bank house before him. Walking up to it he looked at Rinstoshi and gave a nod as a conformation that their plan was going into action now. The bank house was small on the inside though it was probably that this was only because it was the lobby and there was likely much more room in the back. The only folk in here were a few people from the city and about 4 guards. This would be easy if there weren't more waiting in the back, which there likely were.

Alphonso walked up to the counter and asked about a transaction while he signaled for Rinstoshi to set whatever his plan was in motion. Now all there was to do was wait. He kept his left hand inside his jacket on his knife and waited for Rinstoshi to begin.

Uschi looked up at the human, she frowned, well as much as a bear could frown. 'Who are you human' the bear thought "out loud" in her head. She stood up on her four legs, bringing her up to 5' at the shoulder. She growled in her own language, telling the girl human to leave. 'Get out of here' the bear said in her head. Uschi had heard some animals in the forest encounter humans, and could talk to them, the forest creatures left the forest and never returned. The brown bear looked over the brown skinned gangly girl in front of her, aiming her bent wooden stick at her. The bear as ready, if that girl shot at her, Uschi could charge her, or stand up to her full height on her back legs, and come down on top of her, instacrush. 'LEAVE HUMAN' the dark brown bear yelled in her head and in her own language, witch came out as a gutteral (sp) roar.

Oshinato looked around the inside of the building, trying to think of every possible way to get away with this. He ran for the counter and leapt over it. Causing some problems with the workers would surely distract most of the gaurds. He shot a glance from Alphonso to another door, ''Go'' But to the other humans, all they heard was a growl. He slammed his shoulder into the counter, causing a dent. Doing anything to rip attention towards him.

A grin formed upon Salina's face as she saw Faroth coming towards her. He was a magnificent creature that she treasured more than anything else. As the young wolf came to stand by her side, Salina ran her fingers through his hair, an action she was so used to performing.

"The deed has been done," she whispered soft enough for only him to hear. Faroth growled back in response, his eyes watching the crowds attentively. "We'll have to go collect the money from the bank." Normally, Salina preferred if her customers paid her upfront, before she even completed her job. That way, it ensured minimal contact with the person hence ensuring that her chances of getting caught were low as well. However, for this particular job, she had agreed to collect the money from the bank itself as it was a special case. "Come," she mumbled to Faroth and the two began to make their way towards the town's bank.

It was not far from where they were already so within a few minutes, the two reached their destination with Faroth always in front of her. Ever since he was a just a cub, Faroth had always felt this need to protect his companion. And even though at that time, Faroth was much smaller than Salina, he would always stand before her, baring his teeth to anyone he assumed would bring danger to her. And that habit of his never changed.

"There it is," Faroth's voice rumbled in Salina's mind. "I'll wait out here while you collect the payment." Salina nodded her head and was about to enter the building when Faroth stopped her. "Wait, there's another wolf in there and..."

Salina failed to here what Faroth said next as a few guards began to run towards a rather large, creature. It hit a counter in the bank causing a dent to form. Some of the guards standing about rushed towards the creature. Salina frowned wondering why the wolf would do such a thing when she saw a man watching the whole thing calmly. "What in the world are they trying to do?"she asked Faroth who shook his head in response.

"Whatever it is, it looks like that one is trying to distract the guards," Faroth answered.

(ya Delishush kind of needs to post, sorry Aslin, but here is something for you to go on.)

Oshinato let out a large deep growl to the approaching gaurds along with their smaller pets. Snapping at anything that came close enough to his body. The hawks and birds stayed back, out of the fight. After all they are used for merely scouting all the clans have some of these birds, but against such a ruthless creature as a wolf, they should sit to the side. Again he rammed the counter at the same point as before, this time a splinter hung out from the cracked counter causing a small wound, making him bleed. The bright red liquid fell to the ground, this only brought pleasure to the wolf who rammed the counter again.

He gaze was diverted to the door as he saw a girl walk in. Was she a guard as well? Surely the news of a crazed wolf and guards flooding into the bank would keep out customers. With a quick wiff, he could smell the scent, she did indeed have a wolf companion. The only question was where did it stand, and if she were to interefere. The movement of a gaurd drawing closer brought him back to the scenario. He grabbed the mans arm in his giant mouth and ripped it off. He grinned as the blood dripped from his mouth.

Alphonso noticed Rinstoshi's glance at the door behind the counter and his quick word of, "Go." He jumped over the counter and began running at the door but was stopped by a guard. Quickly pulling out his blade he sliced into the man and watched him fall to the ground and writhe in pain. He pushed onwards towards the door without any further interruptions and reached it in no time flat.

As Alphonso reached the room he looked around and saw a plethora of money and paper which he could only assume were bills. He began searching around trying to find something that could be of some use to him but he really didn't know what he was supposed to be looking for. His eyes wondered through hundreds of notes until they stumbled upon a piece of paper with the words 'Info, parents, 300, Grey's" written on it. He pocketed this piece of paper quickly and began searching around again.

Alphonso continued looking around the room until he had gone through as many bills as possible. Looking around one final time he decided grabbing some money couldn't be a bad idea. He picked up whatever wa in the immediate area and moved outside of the room. "Hey Rinstoshi I got something. We need to find a place called Grey's we should find someone there." Alphonso moved over by Rinstoshi and asked, "Should we just leave then? How will we be able to elude the cops?"

''Easy enough, do you see any other wolves my size? These men don't even have mounts. So i can easily outrun them, their little pets on the other hand, you have to keep them off my tail. Though remember try not to kill to many or else every town will be watching for us.'' He spoke as Alphonso was beside him. Looking again at the girl in the door wondering if she was even going to interfere. Then back to the gaurds, slightly lunging at them to make them back up some, just enough for the door to have a clearing. ''If you want to escape you would hop on my back now, otherwise we will be trapped by more gaurds.

"Okay we better get going fast then." Alphonso said as he jumped onto Rinstoshi's back an got ready to ride away out of the bank house. He noticed that Rinstoshi was looking at a girl in the door an asked "What's the matter with her? Is she doing something wrong?" He looked around at the bank house. It was in a state of terror all from a few people breaking in and taking a few bills. He was clearly taking the situation much less severely than it really was. Thinking about it for a few more seconds he realized why they were in such terror, clearly they thought they were bank robbers. They really weren't but he knew no one would listen to them even if they explained themselves. "Lets go." He said and waited for Rinstoshi to take off

Rinstoshi leaped over the counter and darted for the door, ramming any gaurds that got in the way. When he reached outside he took a quick glance around for the nearest gate and made a dash for it. He could hear the gaurds commands to their companions to stop Alphonso and him. Rinstoshi let out a light chuckle as he thought of the gaurds trying to chase after them. He knew that they would call back the companions when they reached the outside of the gates. Because with that distance between them, the companions could easily die. The gates were withing view, a few gaurds were trying to close the gate. But one hesitated and looked back, making the gate move slower, forcing the others to work harder. Rinstoshi leapt out of the gate and turned around watching it close. ''Home free'' He laughed, but then noticed the archers on the wall pointing down. ''Uh, Alphonso, your turn!'' He turned and took off, hoping that Alphonso could reflect the incoming arrows.
