Plot: In a world where the modern times are ruled by martial arts and not by guns is the zodiac academy. The Zodiac Academy is a school for the future masters, soldiers, police etc. During school the students have both theory and active class. During theory they can learn philosophy, psychology, medical studies, discipline and ethics. Active classes are more like technique refining, patrol (where students patrol the city for criminals for active examples for fights), special techniques, etc.
The school has dorms, 20 classrooms, two dojos, a gym, a pool and multiple training grounds. There is no actual dress code but students have to wear a bronze badge when on patrol.

Extra information: There are various tests throughout the year which are mostly written. Mid-term and Final exams require fighting. There are also tournaments throughout the year in which students can win prizes.

Kaze no Iai: An iai drawing technique that compresses the air around opponet to add extra weight to his blade.

Genma Ken: A focused punch made with the fingertips to the center of the temple. The user focuses a burst of chi and releases it through causing damage to the cerebellum and inducing psychosis.

Reversing Blade: A feint technique where he allows an opponent to shift their momentum forwards while shifting his own backwards in mock retreat. He then shifts his weight suddenly and causes the attack to reflect back with reversed momentum.

Swooping Swallow: A combination iai strike and return sweeps to resheath the sword.

Personality: Slightly batty but totaly serious in battle.

Fighting style: Uses weapons more often than other methods. Prefers to keep things long-range, but can opperate short-range just as effectively.
Special move: Akui na Kusari Ankaa (Venom Chain Anchor) The most devastating of Doku's moves, he shoots out his manriki from the parts in his sleeves, which are coated in a mild venom (however, rumour has it that he has harsher venoms somewhere on his body.). The chains can then be hooked onto people or rocks, and at about three chains in each arm, can be very devastating. His prefered method is to hook onto the ground and pull up boulders, swinging them at the end of his chains to throw them at the opponent. Or hooking a chain onto either side of a person and then pulling the chains in quickly. (This is only rumoured to work- no one's ever actually seen him pull anybody apart.)

Personality: Depressive, passive, quiet, intelligent, shy, cruel, ruthless, cold.
Bio: Doku was born in a town distant from here, and moved in about two years ago to go to school. He doesn't have a dorm-mate currently, as he usually scares anyone he comes across, but he does spend a lot of time with his partner, Suzaku. Together, they make a formiddable team- and they know it, using their high status as top-of-their-class warriors to get the underlings to do their bidding. Byaako, who is number one in the class, is usually responsible for the actual bodily threats, as his appearence is usually enough to keep anyone at bay. With his knowledge of mechanics (and, not to mention the weird gear-like noises that come from under his cloak), Doku has made himself a philosophical force to be reckoned with.

Fighting style: Bara uses her supreme agility and her Dual-Swords to her advantage whenever possible. Opperates mid-range and has absolutely no problem with cheating. A brilliant strategist.
Special move: Tsurugi o nukimatsu (Sword Draw), a secret technique invented by the genius strategist. Those who see it say it is so fast and unpredictable, no one knows what it really is- it only starts with her swords in their sheathes, and uses the momentum of a slow draw to form an epic attack.
Subjects: Medical Studies, Patrol, Special Techniques, Psychology, and Weapon classes.
Sexuality: Bi
Personality: Bubbly, energetic, positive, manipulative, magnetic, coy, smart, trouble-making.
Bio: Bara was born to a poor, decrepit family, but grew sick of it and ran away to an orphanage, getting an new family- and unknowingly trading for a much worse lifestyle. Brought up under the ignorant influence of her aristocratic adopters, she grew bitter, greedy, and lonely. Meeting Doku in prep school, she quickly took to him, and became his partner- and now as number two in the class, she uses her talented mind to teach the weaklings 'a thing or two about proper behavior.' Despite her brute nature, Bara is very attractive- and well aware that she is very good at coaxing boys to do her bidding. Combined with her intelligence and her partner ship with Byaako, Suzaku is top-dog in her own right.

Note, despite them being the only moves listed, they each have more moves than that. I just put their best.
