Victoria Love* agreed to go on this stupid family trip to New York City for Christmas during her winter break from school. She begged to stay home, to stay at her friend's house until they came home, because she despised family trips. They never got to do what she wanted to. But of course there was time for everyone else's activities Her older sister, Sierra*, promised her that it was going to be different this time though, which is the only reason the girl went, to see if her sister was telling the truth. And she was. Instead of staying together in a group, her parents let all of them go off on their own since all of the children were old enough.
That's how she met Mark* and Shaylise* Sylvester. At first Victoria kept her new friendship a secret, afraid her parents wouldn't approve of her having made friends in New York for some reason or another. That is until Sierra found out what she was up to and demanded she be included in their little group. Upon meeting, Mark and Sierra fell for eachother and started going out very quickly. Maybe a day or so later Victoria was introduced to Mark's best friend, Damien* Rosamond and soon they were going out too! Shaylise seemed to have absolutely no one, but that would be an incorrect assumption. One night when the Love sister's brother, Adam*, was on his way to pick up his sisters, he met Shaylise in the street. One meeting bacame a couple, and after a day or so, they decided to try the whote 'dating' thing. They had to keep it a secret though, because Shaylise had been forbidden by her brother and dad to date anyone. And she could get in some serious trouble if she was caught with Adam...but they decided to risk it.
The Loves somehow all forgot, or just didn't want to mention that, their stay was only three weeks. So what would happen when they announced their departure? Would the Loves find a way to extend their stay? Maybe stay permanently? Would their New Yorkers even want them to stay anymore?
