Those are some pretty good questions, so let's see if I can answer them>:3

They will all be given a place to stay although I won't specify where each group goes. In regards to our group, lets say they live in an apartment complex where various other shinigami will be staying at as well. Working together to keep their identities a secret are a part of the exercise albiet a very small part of it. Humans shouldn't be pulled into the mess of things. They should act as normally as possible while around humans and are encouraged to interact with them in on occasion. There won't be a briefing in character, but it will be assumed that there was one.

It's chugging. You just gotta wait for it. It likes to take scenic routes and makes a lot of breaks at rest stops to stock up on snacks.
