Dreams. Everyone has them. From elderly to the youngest of tots, dreams are a constant thing in our lives. Some can be translated to real life situations while others are just fantasies of what we wish our reality would be. They can show us what we truly desire...
But what if these dreams turned on us? What if they trapped us within them forcing us to live out our dreamalities? Would we surive?
This is Kayame’s story. Kayame is a young girl at about sixteen. She has one problem; she is chronically ill and has been in and out of the hospital for years. She was diagnosed when she was merely five years old and has been living this way ever since. Months in the hospital have left her body weak and she can barely walk even with a walker. She is usually pushed around by her mother in a wheel chair.
Her friends used to come visit her but not anymore. Most of them have stopped talking to her altogether. It was nice when the teacher brought the whole class in because at least she had company that day. It was also the day she met the boy of her dreams. He was dreamy in every sense of the word but she knew that he could never like a weakling like herself.
Suddenly, one day a dream weaver appears to her. This goddess bestows upon her eternal sleep along with a gift. The gift that her dreams would engulf the world and they would live according to her mind and her dreams. With a touch of the dream goddess’s hand Kayame falls back upon her bed, asleep forever.
Alright now then for the rules:
1. No god-modding. You can’t control someone else. Please stick to your own character.
2. Romance is allowed but keep it PG-13 rated. We don’t need too many details.
3. Blood, gore, and violence are allowed but try to keep them PG-13 rated too.
4. Each person is allowed one character.

5. Be nice to the other players OOC. Your character can be as nasty to his or her
character as you damn well please, but you must respect everyone OOC.
6. Please stay active. If you plan to leave or become inactive for a period of time, let
me know. I will gladly keep you up to date if you have vacation or family events.

Here is my character for an example:
Name: Kayame Nigori
Age: 16

Appearance:
She only has wings in the dream world that she creates.
Accessories: She doesn’t carry much on her person.
Abilities: Kayame has the ability to fly for short distances. Her butterfly wings can let her hover around for some time before she needs to stop and rest. She can also control small gusts of air. She uses these to push away enemies that are too close.
Personality: Kayame is a truly caring person. She loves the world around her and doesn’t want to see anyone in pain. She loves to talk and is very bubbly. Her first impression of everyone is kindness and she wont’ hesitate to introduce herself to everyone. A bad point of her personality is that she can be very sarcastic at times.
Background/History:
Kayame was born into a very poor family. Her father worked long hours into the night just to get by with the rent of their one bedroom apartment. Her mother worked odd jobs to be able to bring home food for their table. It was a hard life for little Kayame. She was three years old when tragedy struck them. Her father was killed in a freak accident some say was murder. The police couldn't find any evidence to arrest anyone so the accident was written off as low importance. This caused more trouble for the already poor family.
A mere two years later tragedy struck them once more. Kayame became ill. Her mother rushed her to the hospital and the doctors found that Kayame was suffering from a disease they had never seen before. It was slowly shutting down Kayame's body before their very eyes. They immediately put her on life support to sustain her for as long as they could. They figured she would die before she even turned six years old.
The years dragged on as Kayame lay bed ridden from her disease. The doctors were frantically working to find a treatment to save the precious little girl that had became the delight of the clinic. She seemed to always be smiling about something and colored pictures for all of the nurses. Her mother was always by her side. At night while Kayame slept you could her the cries of her mother, not knowing if her daughter would wake in the morning.
Kayame's sixteenth birthday came without any change in her disease. She had been living in a hospital for eleven years and she had grown into a beautiful girl. Today, her classmates came in to see her and bestow her with some gifts. They were simple, like coloring books and crayons. Kayame was glad to have the company. The strange thing was that later that day a mysterious woman in a shawl came in and gives her the most extraordinary gift. Eternal sleep with her dreams suddenly become the world's reality...
