An Empire of Marrow

In the year 2012, when the Mayan calendar ended, something truly terrifying happened to the Earth. A doorway to a bizarre dimension opened up to Earth, and perhaps other planets, and shredded its reality like a wet tissue. At first changes were more subtle than the later ones, if you could consider people's eyes melting out of their heads and small children becoming cannabalistic killing machines subtle. Then, the cities began to collapse, very often literally. Society was replaced by a brutal anarchy, where it was every man, woman and child for itself. Rape became the most common means of impregnation. And somehow in the midst of all this, some people stopped being people. They changed, beginning to represent the horrors from our mythology. And the change wasn't just physical. Some lost all capability of logic, their minds being replaced by systems of brutal instinct. They were given names by several people, but none actually stuck for long. It was too hard to keep things in the disorder. Finally, one of the changed individuals took power, by force. No one is exactly sure how she did it, but everyone knew what she did afterwards. She made life even more of a hell for those who were not changed, sometimes turning them into slaves, at other times killing them brutally to see how loud they would scream. So terrible was her reign that she earned a title "The Queen of Marrow". Now, some undetermined time later, those who remain free from her grasp fight against her armies, hoping to gain some form of escape from this brutal, vicious nightmare.

You have me intrigued, and I have several characters that would fit with this plot...A few quick questions:

1. Are these 'creatures of myth' allowed to be of our own creations as well?

2. What's Queeny's profile?

3. How high are the positions being offered on the Queen's side? Lower-level officers, or as high up as second-in-command?

Name: Shanneth (Queen of Marrow)
Gender: Female
Age: Unknown
Type: Changed
Weapons: Her fangs, her claws, and a rapier known as "Man-Eater"
Faction: Queen of Marrow
Appearance (pic is fine): The Queen of Marrow would be attractive if not for two things: Her freakish features and the aura of absolute evil surrounding her. Her hair is long, curly and black, often sprayed with blood. Her skin looks pale and delicate, but most people realize that it is definitely not delicate. She has pointed teeth, often dripping with some vital fluid, that resemble those of Hollywood vampires. Her fingers end in pointed, black fingernails that have a texture similar to eagle's talons. Her eyes are red and her features thin and pointed, leaving her to resemble something of the classic evil Queen. She is not very tall or heavy, standing at 5'4, and only weighing 97lb, although those who go by that to judge her will quickly find themselves surprised. She wears skimpy rags of cloth that somehow seem elegant.
Bio: The Queen of Marrow has never discussed her past, either because she sees no one equal enough to talk to her, or maybe because she doesn't remember. She is mainly concerned with the now.

Weapons: A large broadsword made of some undeterminable metal. It shimmers a jade green, and no blood seems to be able to stain it.
Faction: Rebel
Appearance (pic is fine): Larlek looks like a traditional Christian demon. He has wings, red skin, a tail, and two horns jutting out of his skull. His eyes are a sea of yellow, turning a glowing light blue in the dark. His is built to the point if he was human, steroids would be the only possibility. His lower canines jut out like a boar's, and his nose, despite being close to his face, comes into a sharp point He stands at an astonishing 7'9, and weighs around 300 pounds. He wears a white loin cloth, soiled with dirt and blood.
Bio: Despite his appearance, Larlek could be considered a compassionate soul. He frequently helps scavengers find food when they don't run away screaming, and even defends those who can't defend themselves. He has a strong dislike for the Queen of Marrow, and frequently says he will "Make a rug out of her skin and paint her kingdom with her innards. He likes to fly around the ruins of 21st century cities and examine thier libraries, offices, and homes.

When you say 'mature', I'm guessing you're allowing the implication of sex (not necessarily the act) in this RP, even commonplace?

Commonplace? Maybe not as far as that, but yes, its implication is allowed. Only implication, cause I don't want admins riding my ass. Also mature due the extreme amount of gore involved. Yup, this RP ain't for the squeamish.

Yeah, I personally think that you never need to go above the implication of sex for anything, be it novel or RP, unless you're writing porno. XD

Name: Argent

Gender: Genderless (referred to in masculine terms, and also lusts for women)

Age: Considered one of the oldest beings in all of history, but modestly replies over 300,000 if asked.

Type: Neither. He is a real demon, who made it through the rift, and is here to stay...

Weapons: None.

Faction: Queen of Marrow (her advisor and second-in-command)

Appearance (pic is fine): A shapeshifter with no true form, but he prefers to color them silver with yellow eyes.

Bio: The 'Silver Demon' is a perfect title for one such as Argent, who has both a silver body and a silver tongue. He is a manipulator, who spends all of his times trying to create the most strife and terror as possible through means of others. He is so old, now, that he feels it is the only thing able to entertain him. Everyone is his puppet, be it the rebels or the Queen herself, but none can ever tell. He prefers to stay in the shadows, an 'insignificant' part of it all, and never in battle. In this way, he can flee easily, departing from his current 'obligation' without even a look back. His favorite form is a massive silver snake, ranging anywhere from forty to ten feet long, and various thickness. It is also a habit of his to shrink down to a managble size, and wrap completely around his 'master' like a special garmet. During his stay in this disaster-filled planet, he quickly became the Queen's advisor, and also began to toy with her in more than just words...He has tricked her into lusting for him, into loving him in sick and demented ways. This makes her all the easier to puppet, and he has also found that their 'love', if one could call such a thing that, is delightfully entertaining, and plans to use it to his fullest extent. (Note that this last part is purely optional, if you don't want it. Argent is normally like this, but this is the first 'mature' RP he's been in, and his true colors can only be shown in such RPs.)

Weapons: Two swords strapped to his back and daggers strapped to his legs.
Faction: Rebel (Sided with no character at the moment)
Appearance (pic is fine): A simple normal being. His face is covered by a big black cowl, and his gear consists of dark black cloth garments for more mobility and less sound when he moves.
Bio: Jorland had grown up believing that the creatures that now inhabit the world, were evil people. His beliefs were confirmed when the Queen took power, and since that point was vied to bring down all the vile morphed creatures. He does this via assassinating a creature here and there, and pointing it to someone else. He is the master of deception and subtlety. Not much is know about his history, it's up to the characters to find out.

Rebel really is neutral. Not every rebel is on the same side, they just don't serve the Queen.

Name: Hugo Von Eisenholle

Gender: Male

Age: 42

Type: Changed

Weapons: Hugo wields a flanged greatmace, and has a spare machette and crude tower shield for if he is in too tight of an area.

Faction: Queen of Marrow

Appearance: Hugo is 6'7", and covered in plate mail that is bound to his flesh, except for his helm. His full helm has two red eyes glinting from it, and a pair of long horns from a mutant jaguar.

Bio: Hugo was born after the shifting, and when he was 20, his father, having returned and stole him from his mother when he was fully weaned, melded his armor into his body. Hugo set out, and quickly found himself killing about a dozen or so other competitors in a 'Royal Gladiator Competition'. Basically he grabbed a chainsaw and cut up the dozen or so people that some rich guy was trying to kill him with. He was noticed by the Queen, and was quickly 'offered' a spot as a bodyguard. And that's where he's been so far.

Weapons: A long, envenomed blade, and a crude wooden shield. Also can use his tail to throw knives.
Faction: Rebel, but only because he is a foreigner.
Appearance:

Bio: Aldous was born in south america, and snuck into the Queen's empire because he heard that things were better off there. How wrong he was. Aldous was forced to fight for himself, as opposed to for his tribe, and is currently attempting to work his way out of the hellhole. He isn't happy, but his lack of courage makes him too scared to fight back at the moment. But it's only time...
