In a few moments, eyes of blue were opened to gaze at the ceiling of a certain room. It was not the vibrant amethyst eyes that everyone was accustomed. The mystical violet orbs that would usually be filled with cold calculation and passion were now replaced by sapphire hued eyes, which seemed to be a void. The haziness within her eyes slowly dissipated as she moaned to indicate that she had returned to the world of the living people. She blinked her eyes for a few minutes as she adjusted her blurry sight. It appeared that she had fallen into slumber for a long time. Holding her head, she can feel the circulation of her blood as if assuming control once again.
"Wh-at..."
Surprise was upon her face as she touched her throat; the reason was a raspy voice. It was a clear indication of not having used it for a very long time. The question was how much time she spent sleeping. Her memory was not very clear to her at the moment; nothing appeared to be in the right place. She managed to sit upon the bed she was in and gazed around her surroundings. Everything seemed familiar to her as she tried to stand from her position. However when she tried to, she fell on her backside. It was clear to her that she was in a weakened state also; it was not due to her transformation or such. The main reason was not usage of her body for such a certain period.
"Mar-kus?"
She had able to say in such a very soft voice that it was impossible to hear by human standard and hard to be heard by an inhumane one. Nevertheless, she gripped on the bed sheet to aid in her stand and made her hold upon the wooden frame when she was on her feet once again. Slowly, she made her way towards the door as her legs were shaking but now because of fear. Her muscles had not been used and it was adapting itself from being active again. After a few moments, she had arrived at the door and had passed a mirror.
In that moment, she seemed to see another person. Therefore, she tried to sense the room she was in. Nevertheless, there was no one there except herself. Taking a deep breath, she faced the mirror and looked at the reflection before her with utter disbelief and shock. The woman staring back at her was not the Odesa Sawall that she had known since birth. The lilac tresses she had been now of aquamarine color that resembled the clear blue skies above. Her eyes of amethyst were now of sapphires that resembled the blue oceans. Changes have occurred to her body without her knowledge. She held her face to ensure that she was not sleeping. Pinching her face so hard, her former self did not return. Now, she knew this was the reality.
"What... is...happening... to... me...?"
Shaking her head, she fell to the floor as she was in great shock. Her eyes were now in a trance due to the new self that was presented before her. How could such a thing happen to her? It was her body and yet there was no information that she can go by. All she wanted as of now was someone to hold her tightly and speak of gentle words from her lover. She was not weak and she would be damned to allow anyone to witness that. However, when it comes to Markus, she did not care.
"Mar-kus...."
"The end is naught. Everything had just begun and only those who had the will of fire can unravel it."
A voice of an angel it was that echoed in the room, it had overruled the rage that was emitting from the other occupant. The owner of the voice was sitting upon a chair that was befitted for her only use. Hair of golden tresses were upon the floor however, it did not attract any kind of dirt while eyes of emerald green gazed at the form of the man who had captured her in all the sense. She would be a liar, which she was not if she would admit not being fearful about the show of temper from the Leader of the Silver Crusade. Horror was evident whenever they said being would be involved in any given situation. She knew of this due to her visions that would plagued her in her sleep or even awake.
The Gem of the Crusade sat upon her chair with much grace and gentleness that came from her form. Her face showed her fear due to the display of anger. She was the kind of being that was not shy to show her true feelings about anything. Her eyes did not leave the form of the man known as Plague. However, nothing was hidden from her as she had seen the past, present and future that deemed to be her owner. She watched Plague drank his red wine with one gulp as the snicker that originated from his lips were gave her a sense of trepidation.
She clearly remembered the moment when the members of the Crusade captured her. Her reputation to speak of the future had haunted her at every turn of the century. Her memories were composed of dreadful ones nevertheless, there were a few happy ones that made her existence worthwhile. One of her bad ones included a slaughtering of a village where she had stayed for the night, there she was taken by force as the houses were burned and the streets were littered with corpses. It was a terrible sight for her to behold as that event ended with her scream.
When she woke up, it was known to her that she had been taken to a place that would cause her great pain, which was the truth. She was used for various experimentation and even at the question of her everlasting youth and immortality. In that moment, she had met the famed leader that had taken her from the laboratory and gave her place to be by his side. She was grateful for such an act however; she was like a doll being dictated on what to do and what is not. It saddened her even now, but she would be a captive until the man was going to hold her freedom in his hands.
"Do be careful. The future is covered in a black haze."
