As for the setting, well the time line fits the early persecution of witchcraft. It would be a harder journey in that era as there is less to take advantage of in the way of transportation. However more is available in the way of supplies to a group on the run with more rural areas with farmland.

Gaiadarkstar also expressed a dislike of a modern setting while you didn't express any preference. It could have easily been early New York but the setting in England allows for a larger city and the Celtic settlement consistent with early paganism in Scotland, which is the eventual goal of the group.

As for a modern setting. I guess it would make about as much sense that a group of kids would be in school playing around with some new age books. Same build up. However now we have to invent an agency intent on catching us. We'd get to run across the country, probably by bus, train, hitchhiking etc. Perhaps to a small community in the prairies where our safe haven would be. Perhaps one of us found it online? There would probably be a lot more in the way of guns and combat would be more likely as a result.

I can make the story work either way. I just chose the era because of the expressed preferences and what made sense in the story. Perhaps people should tell me how badly they want the setting one way or the other?

I'll be male or female. I like the olden times one too, but perferbly not to old. I would prefer it if there was nothing faster and reliable than horses (maybe trains, because they have to stay on the track). And apparently I was made Co-GM... so feel free to bounce ideas off of me. I'm kinda busy over the weekend, but I'll check a few times a day.

Totally interested in this idea, and will be joining! Though, I would much more prefer snatching up a character who comes along for the ride, but wasn't part of the original group of friends. Someone they meet on their travels, someone who knows a lot more than they should, and never lets onto anything. xD I dunno. Just a thought I guess~ Willing to play either gender! I love the older-ish eras, horses are way more cooler than silly things like cars and trains and plains.. xD

As for the idea for my character.. The rich fools will need someone to guide them on their way to this save heaven, someone who knows their way around the wilderness. :D -Opinions?

I believe these people have had enough of werewolves, I on the other hand, have not had any.....

And I was going to combine witches and werewolves in an rp that would start out as romance, and then get action packed.

So I think our topics are very different. Just that no one but one person is really interested in my topic......
