Friends. Drama. School. Other annoying things, and lack of time, (or maybe a bit too much) on your hands. Could that be a very simple summary of High School? But of course!

So, it's a Naruto-based version of an everyday, average high school. You all know the drill. Drama, friends, drugs, lack of drugs, peer pressure, and tons of... Ahem. Nasty. It'd only figure, that some might be stressed out. (The cause of zits? Most likely.) Who's to say the Naruto kids wouldn't face these same things? Well, they should be. I mean, it seems as though, in this world, ninjas haven't existed in ages. And if they exist now.. Well, they might be apart of some super-secret government plan, that no teen would really like to get involved with. So, how would all this go? It's up to you, of course!

Alright, so, if you'd like to join, direct yourself to the OOC. A very wondrous place. Full of imagination, and wonder... And.. Things like that. http://www.roleplaygateway.com/konoha-north-high-ooc-t31334.html

Kadou Arashi, at that time, was on the branch of that all too famous tree. Well, it wasn't famous really, apart from the fact the swing set below it had been the sitting place of many-a depressed child in the last few years. He wasn't sat there though, he was sat on a branch above with his back against the trunk. One foot placed firmly on the branch as he let the other hang beautifully underneath him. He had an apple in his right hand, which he was munching hungrily in order to fulfill his inevitabely large apetite. In his left hand he had a book entitled 'Basic Shinobi Principles', which he was using as study material for several different reasons.

Eventually he finished his apple to the core and with a flick of his hand sent it falling to the ground below him. Then that same hand immediately flipped the page over and settled neatly at the brim so he could finish his casual reading. He had been there all night and many hours more. Infact he didn't actually know what time it was, but judging by the sun it was the morning. His gut told him he was late for the 'academy', or 'school', but his brain told him he could not be bothered to move. So he just stayed sat there; reading whilst enjoying the sun warming his skin.

At this time, Keiko was walking among the trees, enjoying the ever-so-subtle breeze, and uplifting sun. At any other time, she'd prefer the rain over the sunlight, but it'd do her some good, she was pale enough as it was. There was a gentle hum coming from the bottom of her throat, somehow having a rough texture. She could never imagine a hum being rough. Maybe a voice.

She swerved in and out of trees, watching above herself. leaves were falling occasionally, but nothing that would inquire that fall was making its way toward Konoha. Hmm, how she wished she could prance around, and jump into leaves; and ultimately get dirty. Be immature again, like the five-year old she wished she could be. Huh. How... odd to think in such a way.

Leaving the forest, she took a few back alleys through the village, watching the scenes around her unfold, with a mild curiosity. One thing caught her eye. A boy, her age, sitting on a tree branch. Reading. She raised an eyebrow, slowly making her way over. "I thought trees were meant for leaves. Not people." She crossed her arms, looking at the boy with a genuine smile.

Sayina was walking along on her way to school. You would think being the heir of the hyuuga clan would be great right? Well wrong. At least to her it was a terrible thing. Most people would love the attention, the politeness, and basically getting everything they wanted. For Sayina, she hated all that. She wanted to just be treated like a normal girl. As she walked to the academy school yard she looked up to see someone on the tree that the academy swing was on that she recognized. The boy had been in her classes many times even though he was older than her.
"Hello there. You know you stay up there to lng and you will miss class." she told him. She wondered if this guy recongnized who she was. Probably so since everyone knew of the parilous Hyuuga clan and there heir.

Neji was walking towards the school. This was his last year at the academy. He wasn't even supposed to be in the academy at sixteen years old. Oh well. He continued until he made it to the school and saw someone he wished he wouldn't have seen. It was his cousin, a member of the main branch that he literally dispised, Sayina Hyuuga. He ignored her existance there and walked into the school heading to his classroom. He hoped the day went by fast.
Hatsuharu Sohma: You stubborn idiot. What if it was Yuki wearing a girl's uniform?
[Mokoto imagines Yuki in a girl's uniform]
Yuki Sohma: Haru, cut it out or I will cut you off.
Hatsuharu Sohma: Aw, have my words made you angry?
Mokoto: [still imaging] It's beautiful!
Yuki Sohma: Stop imagining me!

Arashi had just noticed two girls, both of whom he could swear he had never spoken to before, randomly stroll over to him and basically patronise him for sitting in a tree. This was surely a sign of good things to come!

He sighed, snapping the book shut and letting the left arm that was holding it fall beneath him also - as limp as it could be. He lifted the previously limp leg onto the branch at that point and crossed it with his other one whilst retaining that perfect balance only ninja were known for.

"I know..." It was amusing how he could reply to both of them with that same answer and with a shrug he looked at the first for several seconds before letting his gaze follow the trail lazilly over to the younger one. "School is for study, no? I am studying." As he finished this his sight moved again and fixed on Keiko. "So technically, I am not doing anything wrong. And this is the leaf village - it makes sense for me to be in a tree with a book." He refered to Jiraiya with that last comment, who was such a famous ninja and author from the large, walled city surrounded by trees.

He sighed and shuffled to the side; allowing himself fall to the ground with a small 'thud'! He straightened himself rather quickly and shrugged his shoulders once more; turning to face the building they were most likely all heading for. He began walking towards it rather slowly, a sigh escaping his lips as he dreaded being there.

A crest-falled Keiko stared after Arashi. Well, so much for socializing. Shrugging to herself, the teen continued on, not exactly set to going to school. It was only the academy. Like her father had told her; you could leave school with not-so great grades, but still go to college and graduate, and be perfectly fine, if you tried hard enough. It wasn't like she was doing well: she was! She just wasn't putting in her best effort.

Eh. Slipping her hands into her pockets, she watched her feet as she walked. Her father always seemed to chide her for it. 'You look like an insecure person. Look confident, and you'll BE confident.' She ignored the saying. She was only watching her feet. What? Tripping wasn't something she wanted to experience. Rocks plus face, equal fear and pain. Not very cool.

She hummed quietly. So, walk around idly, or attend school? What a hard decision to make. She stopped walking, watching those around her.

Arashi found himself sat down on a bench outside of the main door with his back against the wall under a window. His head was tilted up and his mouth was open in an extremely long yawn which left the back of his throat and tongue the only part of his features visible for the better part of twenty seconds. This yawn ended, his head lowered back to it's bored and tired expression and his groan grumbled out to unsettle all those around him.

He lifted his right arm and placed it out across the still above him as his left arm flicked open the book he was reading earlier so his eyes could follow the words. To anyone in that classroom right at that moment, there would be half a shoulder down to the fingers of a hand resting in their possible vision range. The knuckles tapping the glass with an annoying rhythm.

He barely spoke to anyone that walked past him apart from the occasional "Hi!" To those who greeted him first. He wasn't a people person and much prefered to be on his own rather than with a group of friends who would show their friendndship by giving him 25p to piss in a bottle and get someone to drink it as orange.

(If someone could play Sasuke that would be awesome.)

Sayina just watched as Arashi walked away from the others. Well he sure wasn't talkative. She decided just to ignore him and she looked to the girl who had showed up also. She seemed faily nice and didn't seem to want to be in school either from the way it looked. School was just another boring thing. Of course she new if she was going to be the new head of the family, since both her sister Hinata and Hanabi were both younger than her, that she would have to do her best and get through school. She decided that if the girl recognized her that she would need to get away. She deffinately didn't want anyone saying "Oh my gosh its the famous Hyuuga girl." She was sick of it. Another thing that made her deffinately run inside the school was when she saw her cousin Neji. She deffinately didn't want to get into an argumant with him. She hurried into her class room taking a seat.

Neji walked into his classroom seeing all of his comrads there. He saw Lee and Tneten and a bunch of other students. He was pleased that he hadn't seen lady Hinata and that lady Sayina had left when she did. He took a sea waiting for the teacher.

Shino walked slowly threw the forest observing all the insects that were living in and around the forest. He wasn't really paying attention to what time it was he was more interested in what the insects were doing more than anything. He was studying a large beetle that was sitting near the bottom of a tree. He wished that he could observe it longer and maybe capture it but he knew that he could never do that to such a magnificent creature. When the beetle flew off Shino watched it and realized what time it is. Not wanting to be very late for school he decided to start walking faster but he still observed everything around him. He made it to the school faster than he thought that he would have and headed inside.

He headed to his class and took a seat near a window in the back off the room. Looking around he noticed a few people that he knew but most of them he had never talked to, then again the ones he actually knew he hardly has talked to them to begin with. He began to grow bored of the room and looked out the window watching all the nature that was around it.

" AIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEE!!!! GET OUTTA THE WAY GRANDMA!!" Was the loud, obnoxious, screech that broke through the somewhat tranquil section of Konoha that was inhabited by a certain blond haired fox. Well worn, goodwill quality sneakers slapped the pavement rapidly, well formed arms struggling to tug a form fitting orange tee and black bomber jacket onto his torso, all while dodging around pedestrians and cars like a Frogger game on speed. Wild, somewhat panicked eyes the color of sun-kissed cerulean flitted about madly, searching for a good way through the crowd of people starting their day. He looked like a street hood, a fact he was somewhat grateful for at that moment since it caused those that could see him to quickly move away from him.

The wind tugged at his messy hair, ruffling the cream fur of the jacket's collar as in exasperation, the teen pushed off of the ground hard, his strong legs flexing beneath his low riding jeans that had more patches than jean. He sailed up through the air, bounded from a trashcan, scrambled halfway up a telephone pole, and vaulted up onto the roof of a nearby building in a fluid series of movements.

"Oh my god I am so late, Dattebayo!" He whined out, sprinting recklessly over the rooftop and trowing himself off to land on another. He'd over slept AGAIN after pulling a ten hour shift at a local 24 hour gas station that he'd recently managed to get hired at. When you were seen as a juvenile delinquant by the general public, child labor laws ceased to exist. It was yet another perk to his current mask. He'd get a good paycheck this week. As the blue eyed wonder ran full tilt, he happened to glance down at the street to spot a fast moving MAC truck headed the direction her needed and an impish, almost foxlike grin stretched his generous mouth. With a grunt he leapt from the roof just as the truck began to turn and landed in a crouch atop the trailer. His grin exploded into an infectious, brilliant smile and he chuckled at his luck and intelligence. Who said he didn't know how to use his brain?

Five minutes later, he rushed through the halls of the school, panting heavily. He peered uneasily into the window of his classroom, biting his lower lip as he quietly opened the door and slipped inside when the teacher wasn't looking. The teen slunk into his back row seat and hunkered down, trying to make himself inconspicious. Hopefully, he hadn't been noticed and hadn't missed anything of importance. However, with his luck, he knew better.

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby ~*~emoneko~*~ on Thu Oct 22, 2009 9:21 pm

Temari walked slowly into the classroom, her brown eyes slowly scanning around. She didnt really want to go the school here, but at lass, she didnt have much of a choice. At her side was another girl, who no one would know. The girl was an odd contrast to Temari, who was decked out in black. The other girl was mainly green shades, with black on the side. Her eyes green; her hair green; her shirt green.
Temari noticed a free seat in the back of the class and took off for it. Though in her mind she rushed to the seat, she walked rather slowly in reality, not wanting to hint to anyone that she was indeed in a rush.
The girl, Makkii, laughed at her friend, the only person she knew. The laugh was slight, light, and no one would really hear it. She wasn't exactly a loud person, until she was excited of coarse. Green orbs searched the room for a better spot than beside Temari but she didnt exactly find one. In the back was Bug Boy, or so Temari had called him. Then over to the side of the room was Mr. Ego (Neji) who was mean and shouldn't be bothered with.
Walking to the back, she sat next to Temari, who snickered slightly. "Took you long enough. I thought you might sit by Mr. Ego or Bushy Brow." she whispered, leaning over to Makkii.
Makkii snickered a little, looking at the other student before looking for the teacher.

Aah. Maybe walking around idly wasn't the best idea. She should've known she'd change her mind at the last minute. Like she always did. Slipping inside the school doors, she avoided the disappointed stares of school officials. Tch, whatever. They were only teachers and secretaries.

Sliding down the hall, she subtly opened the door to the classroom, sheepishly grinning at anyone she might have known in the classroom. Keiko didn't know too many people she could consider a friend. Being away in another country seemed to take away the chance of making many friends in your hometown.

Keiko headed for the back of the room, taking one of the few seats left, between two blondes. She looked between the two. The jade-green eyed girl smiled at them both, resting into her seat. Temari? Yeah. "Hey, Temari. Hey, Makkii." And the guy... Naruto. People didn't like him, for some reason. Because of his looks. She looked down at herself. Shorts, and a tank top, with a ratty old jacket overtop it. There wasn't anything wrong with having less-than-great clothing. Oh, yeah, and he supposedly was bi-polar. What, couldn't some people handle people who were excited about life? Shrugging, she turned in her seat, so that her knees faced Naruto. Not to mention, Naruto was one hell of a runner. And a ... roof-jumper?

"Hey. I'm Keiko." She offered a genuine smile. "You... Run really fast," she commented, not sure as to what else she could talk about, to strike up a conversation. Now, what if he thought he was only trying to act like a nice person, to only have been someone dared to act like a friend, but eventually bring him down. Well... That'd be pretty horrible. Eh, she'd have to see how things turned out.

She should have known. It was the first day of school and she was already late. Talk about making a good impression. Kazumi stood in front of the mirror and tilted her head back and forth as if there was something seriously wrong with her neck. She looked fine, but as usual it seemed as if something was missing. Something she just couldn't pen point. Frozen in time, Kazumi stopped moving her head and grabbed her messenger bag containing all the things she'd need for her first day and made her way downstairs and out the door.

Minutes Later..

Sliding open the classroom door she looked inside with a raised eyebrow and sighed. It wasn't exactly what she was expecting, but school was school..wasn't it? She walked inside trying not to cause attention to herself, though it was hard to shake all the wondering eyes that were even more disturbing it seemed. Did she overdo it again? It was times like those that she wished she could just melt into non-existence.

(Sorry it's short. Writers block.)

Temari noticed Naruto and snickered a little at him, only to receive a glare from Makkii. "Hey Keiko." Temari then greeted, waving slightly to her. She didnt know the girl very well, but she wouldn't deny her of a hello.
Makkii smiled and waved to Keiko before looking to Naruto. Her eyes seemed to grow big as she looked at him and a look of concern washing over her face. She never talked to Naruto, she wouldn't allow herself to. He was too 'perfect' for her. He was a lot like Gaara. They were just too 'perfect' for someone like her to talk to. Suddenly her head jerked down and her eyes went back to normal, and stayed locked on the ground. She didnt want him to know how she though of him. How he was so strong and perfect while being so un-perfect. Like Gaara.....
Temari glanced at Makkii, knowing all to well how she felt. Temari always knew how Makkii felt, especially about Gaara. A few times she though about telling him about Makkii but then again, Temari wasn't exactly social with her siblings. "Hey Naruto." she finally greeted, just in spite of Makkii.

"Tch." Anyone in the vicinity of a certain ebony-haired mute would have heard this, if they were listening closely enough. It seemed, almost everyone was waiting for Sasuke to lash out. Hmm, with people leaning in so closely, it seemed likely to happen. Letting out a sigh, he walked a bit faster, but without the urgency of someone who truly wanted to get out of the area. Only a minute or so to school. Pulling an mp3 player out, he stuck the earbuds in. His way of avoiding any chatter. Scratching the back of his neck, he entered the school, roaming the halls until he found his classroom. Hm. Figures. Naruto? He blinked, peering inside the small window. People he knew.

Opening the door, he didn't bother to keep quiet. People would notice, nonetheless. Glancing around, he searched for a seat. Of course. There was one in front of the dobe. Hiding his eyes away, he looked up at the ceiling, striding over to the seat aforementioned. He stared at the blond for a moment, before taking his seat. Hmm, how mysterious... and... Kind of annoying. At least, that was how it seemed to be, from Keiko's view. Couldn't he bear to at least greet Naruto?

Frowning, she ripped a sheet of paper out of her notebook, scrawling a few words down. Neatly folding it four times, she then threw the square at his head. He grunted, looking back at his childhood acquaintance. She motioned toward the paper that laid on the floor, quirking both eyebrows. Rolling his eyes, he picked it up, taking his time to open it. Keiko huffed, drumming her fingers on the desk. He suddenly looked back, eyes narrowed into a glare. She smiled innocently, reaching her thinned fingers out for the paper. He slipped it back, before, turning his head back the way it had faced.

Smiling secretively to herself, she opened the paper up again. 'Say hello to your little friend, or I will for you. Remember that small threat I placed against you when we were... oh, fourteen?' She cleared her throat, pushing back a giggle. Sasuke let out an unnoticeable sigh, turning back to Naruto. "Hey, dobe."

[[I think I'm just going to create a tiny plot bunny in here somewhere. Mmm, Keiko's a 'friend' of Sasuke. I'm sure it'll become a good thing in the future. ^-^]]

[[ OOC:// I want to try again since my first post wasn't too good. ^.^ Also, do you mind if I play Sakura? ]]

Kazumi sat down quietly in the only unoccupied seat she could find. She felt bad after seeing how everyone else seemed to have a bond with their fellow classmates and she didn't know anyone at all. That though, was the price she would pay for being the "New Girl in Town." She diligently placed her puke green messenger like bag on the desk top and rummaged through it to find her sketch book. It was the only thing reminded her of how lucky she was to be where she was at the very moments. Pushing the book aside, she continued to rummage once more in need of a pencil. "Damn, where did I place the pencils?" She thought with frustration on her face as she pulled out everything, but a pencil.

"NARUTOOOOO!" Was the only thing that seemed to be emerging from Sakura's mouth. Her eyes seemed to be filled with as much fury as both her fist, those of which seemed to take no prisoners. Sakura allowed herself to slide open the door, almost removing it from the wall itself. Her eyes immediately locked on Naruto who seemed to be letting his ego get the best of him again and forcefully allowed her fist to go fury mode on his face. "YOU IDIOT!" She hissed out. Leaning close to Naruto's soon to be unconscious body, a sly smirk spread across her face, "Touch my things again and next time you're history."

Kazumi glanced around, almost forgetting the fact that she obviously didn't have a pencil. How could someone so sweet looking be so evil? She'd never believed it before, but things were never really what they appeared to be and now she knew it was true. "Note to self: Don't ask her for a pencil?" She murmured while continuing to gawk at what appeared to be a dead body.

An obviously started Keiko stared, wide-eyed, at Sasuke. He merely stared back, wincing. He couldn't stand Sakura's voice, to be honest. Yeah, sure, both her and Naruto had annoying voices. But he'd rather spend a year nonstop with Naruto, than an hour with Sakura. The female in the bunch cleared her throat. Ah, boy.

"Oi~ Loudmouth. Get your hands off the dude. I'm sure you remember the rule 'hands to yourself.' Hmm?" She questioned, tilting her head to the side. Sasuke let out an indistinguishable chuckle, glancing at his childhood friend. Being rude, yet somehow polite. Exactly how he had influenced her to be. She stared Sakura down. Hm. Well, Sakura didn't seem that bad. Y'know, aside from the whole practically killing her surrogate brother's soon-to-be love. At least, that was what she thought of Naruto. Oh, and stalking Sasuke, of course. But, aggravating Sasuke was a pretty big part of her day. She pursed her lips. Ah, well.

"Oh, I'm Keiko, by the way," she added, cheerfulness evident in her voice. Sasuke's hand slapped up to his forehead, resulting in a loud smacking noise. And all that teaching... Down the drain. He watched Naruto for a moment, studying his features. He had to be frightened. Just a little. Sure, Sakura was annoying, and practically weak, in his views. But Sakura did have a pretty good right hook.

Sakura let up on her grip. Sure Naruto had fallen to the floor miserably, but he deserved it. She looked up at the girl wondering who she was to tell her what to do. She didn't understand the situation and from the looks of it she wasn't trying to. "Unlike most rules, I don't abide by that one." She said with a less than pleasant smile. Even if she wasn't thrilled, she had to fake it, besides it was all she could do to keep from pounding Keiko's face in too. Though she really didn't have a reason to. "Err, hi, I'm Sakura." She murmured. "Sorry you almost witnessed a murder." She joked.

Kazumi allowed her eyes to catch sight of Sasuke for a bit. Sure, he seemed like the bad boy type, but there was something about him she just couldn't pin point. Both him and Keiko seemed odd. Not necessarily a bad odd, just..odd. She fumbled with her fingers a bit and tried closing her eyes as if to fall asleep. Only something about him kept her intrigued, too intrigued. She'd been told a million times how open she seemed, but maybe just this once she could play it off and ask for a pencil. Stumbling to get a up, Kazumi made her way of to Keiko and the soon to be imprisoned murderer. She cleared her throat a bit, "S-Sorry to intrude, but could I borrow a p-pencil?" She stuttered out.

Makkii shook her head at the emo-gay boy ((Aka Sasuke)) before noticing the girl going through her messenger bag. Seeing as she had taken out a sketch book, she figured she was looking for a pencil. "Hey." she said to her before grabbing a mechanical pencil and a regular wood one that was used specifically for sketches. Getting out of her seat she walked over to Kazumi and smiled to her, handing her the pencils. "Here, you can have them. I haven't seen you around. I'm Makkii." she greeted, hoping she wasn't being to bold in he action of greeting her.
Temari watched Makkii as she went to greet the new girl and laughed a little, though it was quiet enough for no one to notice. Looking to Sasuke she rolled her eyes but burst into laughter at the sight of Sakura. Everyone had enemy's and Sakura was Temari's. There was no reason, for she surly did NOT share the stocking obsession of emo-boy. Temari continued to laugh until the sides of her eyes began to water. It was simply funny how the pink hair girl would yell at Naruto for absolutely nothing most the time and Sasuke was free of anything other than being stocked and spied on. She also pitied the girl slightly for her lack of woman's knowledge on me. Naruto was obviously the right choice but Sakura continued to go for the emo guy. Finally Temari stopped laughing and smiled to Naruto. "Hang in there boy, she might fall and hit her head hard enough to make her get some brains."
Makkii glared at Temari for a second for being so mean. It was truly Temari's worst quality but she wouldn't say anything about it. She simply shook her head then looked at the new girl again, holding a faint smile.

"Mmm. You should. Poor guy didn't do anything. Not anything bad, at least," She added, as an afterthought. Naruto didn't seem like one to purposely sabotage someone's stuff. Yeah, sure, maybe a little harmless fooling around... But... Well, that was exactly the point. Harmless. Shrugging, she smiled. "Nice to meet you, Sakura." Pausing, she glanced over at Sasuke. He didn't seem too happy that she was acquainting herself with the rosette. She smirked, glancing back over to her. "So... Hn. I think I've seen you around." She blinked. Nothing seemed too out-of the ordinary. Plain old black-and-white. But, for all she knew, she could have outrageous pink hair, or something or other.

Blinking, the raven-haired female nodded, grabbing her backpack. "It's no problem. No intrusion here." A shabby grey messenger bag, with an own stitched onto the front. She was sure everyone would be surprised if she told them that it was the handiwork of her mother, and Sasuke. Rifling through too much, she grabbed a handful of things that could be pencils. Pens, markers, pens... Ah, a pencil. Smirking triumphantly, she went to hand the pencil over. Of course, it seemed that Makkii had beat her to it. "Oh." Raising a brow, she shrugged, carefully inserting herself into the conversation once Makkii had finished speaking. "Hi, I'm Keiko. You?" She stuffed her things back into her bag, zipping it shut.

Blinking, she stared at Temari for a moment. Then let out her own fit of giggles. She wasn't trying to make fun of the rosette, honest. Why did giggles have to be so... contagious? Pulling her lips into a tight line, she turned to look at Sasuke, green eyes sparkling with a hint of moistness. The ebony-haired male's eyes narrowed. Couldn't Temari just... pipe it down? Just once? Honestly.

Keiko nudged the blonde's side. "Ah, I think big bro's gonna bring out the kinfe. Look out for the evil rays of EMO." She knew being emo wasn't a joke. Hell, everyone had problems. But she liked poking fun toward Sasuke. He wasn't emo, afterall. Besides, emo wasn't real. It was music. Cutting was... cutting.
