Grar. Actually in traditional stories, when a brownie becomes angry it becomes a boggard, or is still called a brownie, and creates trouble for the person who angered it, like knocking things over in the house and whatnot, until appeased. Usually with a dish of milk, which must be set out every night. And what? No hints of realism allowed? What about Avians, or Fallen Angels and their offspring? Can we be either of those?

Um...no, I'm pretty sure they didn't. There were brownies, and there were boggarts, but they weren't related. Unless you can find some proof outside of Spiderwick Chronicles, in which case please show me so I may further educate myself.

And no. No fallen angels or any of that.

Spiderwhat Chronicles? And I don't know if I can find it on the internet. Most of my myth, fable, lore, and mythology research happens with actual tomes that I read at the library, and old manuscripts and stories that were actually written back then, also read at the library and not easily availabe online.

Well here is PT Glick, my character if accepted.

Name: Phidias Timothy Glick. PT or “Tim” is what he prefers to be called.
Species: Warlock
Age: 42
Description: Slightly taller than an average man, Tim is a less than imposing figure in his deep brown battered overcoat, battered brown fedora and walking stick. The salt and pepper hair cut short and slicked back, the honey brown eyes peer out from under bushy white brows. Tim is a tawny color, having spent a lot of time in the sun and wilds of the world learning the secrets that make him a warlock.

Notable Abilities: Incantation magic, both Celtic and Nordic.

Brief History: PT, is a well versed warlock, having obtained his dual Bachelors of Magic Theory in Celtic Incantation and Magical Understanding of Nordic Runes. He has also obtained his Masters of Arts in Incantation theory and transverse magical word orders from the Miskatonic school of Magical Theory in Arkham, MA. He has also received his Doctorate of Magic from the California Polytechnical Institute.

Since he has obtained his DM he has searched the world over as a magical archeologist, searching for evidence of lost magic of the pre-antediluvian civilizations.

Possessions: His brown clothes. A six-foot tall oak walking stick with the ogham etched into it. Also a small pouch on his belt that carries his Norse rune stones, and a silver flask full of a mysterious liquid that he allows no one to get close enough to discover what it may be.

Last attempt at getting a cool race accepted, and a complete rip off from Neil Gaiman. How about Dream Creatures? Like, they come from the Dream Realm, yet have physical form. Kinda like the Corinthian, or Mathew. Could also be regular people touched by dream, or regular people who can use a sort of magic, allowing them to connect to the dreaming, and create dream creatures, slightly alter reality, that kinda thing. Basically just something based off of the Sandman.

And sorry Gabriel, but no. You're still kind of missing what the aim is here: even though there's obviously some mythos and legend that go along with the 'monsters' in this world, they're still regular beings that exist beside humans. So 'dream creatures' and 'angels' and whatnot are just not a go. Sorry.

Name: Derrick Crownguard
Species: Werefox
Age: 25
Physical description:
Human: 5’6”, shaggy red hair and beard, yellow eyes, only slightly tan. Dresses in loose jeans and a green tee shirt. Never really wears shoes when he can help it.
Animal like: 6’6” think red fur covering a twisted human body, long fingers and nails
Animal: long, rusty red soft fur, with white underbelly, black ear tips and legs, and a bushy tail usually with a distinctive white tip. His eyes are yellow and have distinctive vertical-slit pupils.
Notable Abilities: can change shape, good at unlocking locks and disabling alarms.
Brief History: Derrick and his sister, Tokala Crownguard, were raised in a small community in the Carter-Moriah Range of the White Mountains of Coos County, New Hampshire.
Profession: Finder (finds things for the community be it by stealing them or treasure hunting)

Name: Tokala Crownguard
Species: Werefox
Age: 23
Physical Description -

Human: Like her older brother, Tokala's hair is red, though is is more auburn then his, and she has a distinctive white streak. Her lightly freckled skin is a creamy white despite excessive amounts of time in the sun, and her deep blue eyes are almost black, exluding a somewhat misty white film over her left eye - though it is barely noticeable.
Dressing in skinny-leg or boot-leg jeans and a checkered shirt that always has some shade (other then lime or baby) of green, her walk has an obvious 'lope' to it. Standing around 5'8, she has a somewhat willowy, petite body.
Animal-Like: Now standing at 6'3", Tokala's body is a twisted sight. Thick, rust-red fur covers her body, excluding her palms. Her nose is more animal-like, the tip moist and velvety-like in feel. Her fingers are elognated, as are her nails which take on a black tinge. Her lope is also much more distinctive.
Animal: Her smooth rust-red covers her sleek body, but is unable to disguise the slight muscles that ripple beneath her skin when she runs. Her bushy tail has the smallest of white tips, and a white streak runs down her back. The white on her body grows sparse on her chest, appearing in splotches. Her eyes are still their dark, almost black, blue, and if one looks closely they can see the verticle-slit pupils. She has a bit of blacky-brown on her legs and right ear, and a spot of grey-y white above her right eye.
Notable Abilities: Can change shape, is an excelling runner and slippery when she wants to get out of something. Her air of confidence provides her with good leadership skills (only, those skills are selective)
Brief History: Tokala grew up with her brother, Derrick, in a small community in the Carter-Moriah Range of the White Mountains of Cross Country, New Hampshire. Since she could remember she has looked up to her brother, though it is not unusual to hear them bickering every now and then, like all siblings do.
Profession: Finder, like her brother. However, Tokala's main element in the partnership is to "find" certain things for finding, as well as talking them out of sticky spots, and completing jobs Derrick wouldn't have a chance of doing himself.

For the Fishman Empire!

Species: Atlantic Fishman
Age: 67
Physical description: Y'nil stands as tall as a normal human, and resembles great one greatly in body shape. But that's where the similarities end. He has Yellowish-Green scales, a head that is distinctly fish shaped, and black eyes. He also has pin protrusions at various joints, and his hands and feet are webbed and clawed.
Brief History: A humble Fishman raised near the Empire capital of Y'til N'lyith, which is near the city of Innsmouth, home of the great Coastal Fishman writer Hh'pyath L'ithcft. He lived in the city of Cth'thoo most of his life, working as a Relic Seeker and Ysoght, until he was drafted into the Fishman army, the Y'til H'gloth. He served as an anti-submarine soldier, and had the glory of taking out a German U-boat in the later days of his career. Now he lives as in Y'til N'lyith, and keeps relics from his days in the military, along with a Explosive tipped harpoon gun. His job a Finder has server him well.
Notable Abilities: Hydrogen-Oxygen suspension manipulation. Elemental Magic radiation and the Fishmen's natural habitat gave these creatures very unique magical powers. They can't control water, but they can Manipulate it through touch, rearranging it's atomic structure. (Ever read ice 9? Fishmen can make that, but without the copying component!)
Profession: Soldier, Ysoght (tracks down rouge Fishmen) and Relic Seeker.

Well since no one will answer my question I'm assuming halfbreeds are allowed.

Name: Unknown, tells people its Boots.
Species: Half Werecat, Half Warlock
Age: Unknown, tells people he is as old as dinosuar's fart.
Physical description: Boots is about 6'3" but is usually perceived to be much shorter. He has short, ragged and unkempt, black hair, and a short black beard, with bushy black eyebrows. He wears a dirty, rumpled, black top hat, with a large dent in it, a long, worn, supple, brown leather trench coat, reaching down almost to the floor, with overly large sleeves, a wide collared, white, button down shirt, with a black tuxedo vest that is missing two of five buttons, and a loosely tied fuzzy purple tie, a pair of brown work boots with the front of one ripped up so that you can see his toes sticking out of his gray, wool socks, a pair of fingerless grey woold gloves, a pair of ratty, old, burlap pants with numerous holes in them, through which long johns can be seen, the pants are held up with a rope belt and a pair of red suspenders. The one thing about him that is clean and pretty is the flower which is in the button hole of his overcoat. He has a fresh flower everyday, no matter what. He carries a large, black umbrella at all times, that he uses as a walking stick. In cat form he is a large, but thin and wiry, all black cat, with white paws. He magically has a collar in cat form, that reads, Boots.
Notable Abilities: He can turn into a cat, fly with his umbrella, use the umbrella like a sword, and perform various spells. He is also rather good at the harmonica.
Brief History: Nothing known.
Profession: Professional Hobo. Really, he has a greater purpose and mission, but it is unknown, perhaps even to him.
