I have been steadily working on filling out my deity's sheet with information and I do apologize if that, along with the other works in progress, have been contributing to the slow start up by any means.

As far as encounters the avatars will have made with each other, I can pretty much assure you that none of them have encountered LiesseiL's avatar, VosksoV, given how he doesn't generally come out often... Or do much... Or say anything.

@TiM
Alright then, I'll add that to the current trade agreements on my character sheet. Thanks.

With me all set up and ready to go, I guess the best thing to do now is wait for everything else to get sorted. I understand the projects you guys are going through so I can just be patient enough to wait. I hope the RP can start soon.

Sorry for the late post.

The Avuvians would be importing metals such as iron and gold as well as other raw materials. Meanwhile, they'd be exporting spices, ships, stone, and finished goods.

Alliances are looked upon pragmatically.

Some of your iron, silver, gold and lumber can come from the Commonwealth. But since I am trading with so many people I don't know if I could realistically say that I can provide you with all you need.
I'd take spices, maybe some finished goods(depending on what they are and whether a nation of hunters would actually need them), small fishing boats and/or large whale-hunting style ships. The Commonwealth doesn't use a navy. I imagine the Avuvians would be the best ship-builders, right?

I can see them selling the Commonwealth buying tools and weapons.

And, yes, the Avuvians would build the best ships.

@EVERYONE
My new character is up btw.I haven't finished with the economy and trade of the new Dominion yet, but was gonna go with them largely being isolationist. May add in a coastal trade city. If anyone wants particular relations with them then run it by me. The Dominion will be on the western borders of the Commonwealth and Maakulm, northern border of the Outlands, reaching up to the northern coast. When I get back around to map-making I'll update the map Sai made before. Feel free to throw in extra details about your countries, probably via PM to avoid cluttering the OOC idk

Sorry it's taken me this long to reply. School's had me a little tied up lately. The Outlands are kind of a catchall outlaw country, and the regions' trade motto is one man's gold is as good as the next's. If you've got the coin and are willing to do business in a den of thieves, anyone is welcome. The Outlands also tends to be where the best thieves, smugglers, mercenaries, and assassins can be found for hire, so if you need something acquired, hired, or killed, the Outlands are the place to go.

Likewise, pretty much anyone is subject to catching the eye of Tashiek, especially if they are interesting, as all men (and women) are subject to fortune's whims. Tashiek is also a world class meddler, is not afraid to cross borders or step on other god's toes, and tends to be quite hands on in that process. If anyone's interested working out a plot line with either Xanti or Tashiek, feel free to spitball ideas at me.

Well, im pretty much ready to start this thing, the Scarlets will be contactable if you need a special escort to your destination, and were pretty much game to shoot just about anyone for enough coin. We will have a better relationship towards maakulm mainly for the fact they supply us most of the base powder for our "special powders" as well as the pure iron used in making our famed (and in some cases, notoriously) accurate rifles. That reminds me, we wont be selling our rifles, as they are made in small amounts and offend specially for there owners, how ever its is considered a honor to be given a Scarlets rifle and a huge insult to take a scarlet's rifle (either by force or by picking it off a dead one)and gives us an automatic kill on sight order if we find you. We will be teaching some people how to shoot with our level of skill, however it takes a large amount of time (and patients on the gypsys part) as most Scarlets will not do it. Other then that, im pretty much cleared to start, if you have any contracts or questions, simply ask here or pm me.

NOTE: the Scarlets are not liable for any wars stared in consequence to our actions wile on a contract, either direct or indirect.
Life is but a sea of evil hell fire and brimstone, and it is only up to you weather you fight it and stay true, or accept it and let it control you...But it either the beginning of an golden era, or the beginning of the end for us all...

I'll have some mercenary work for all takers once we get into the RP. Details when the time comes. Would anyone be willing for there to be secretive(or not) cult followings to Kaellarak in their country? I wanted to write that into my character sheet but wasn't going to without a go-ahead. If so, or if you want details, please message me about it.

@Kohananinja
Since the Outlands are going to border the Dominion, maybe we could have some relations. The Drow are naturally a pretty shady people, so they may fit in well with yours, and would be deep in the black market. And if Tashiek is really into meddling, there may be some common ground to be shared with Kaellarak

A cult following? It'd be quite amusing to have a cult appear, preferably being an open cult trying to convert the already loyal people of the USN. It adds content and a reason for some actions which will lead to an important planned event. (These actions may include publicly shown firing lines or mass shootings).

@Kohana
Since the Outlands borders the USN, maybe there'd be some relations. The Rostovii Clan is the only clan which lives in the 'deadlands' area of the USN which is basically the same environment as the outlands. So, I'm guessing there would be friendly or hostile relations between your guys and the Rostovii Clan.

@LuckyNumber4,

I can only imagine the shitstorm that would ensue should Calavera and Rinen meet and get into a magical battle, Calavera being a necromancer and Rin being a pyromancer.

Sorry that I've been so quiet on this subject haha xD

The Dualae Empire is willing to trade with almost everyone and they have lots to offer. Their biggest exports are weapons, fine art, textiles, spices, exotic foods, jewelry, and magic books or items. They have a large variety of products and I think I was picturing the Empire as a place people want to travel to, sort of like a exotic, fun destination. There's skilled blacksmiths, mercenaries, artists, magicians, actors, prostitutes, assassins, and spies. Basically, if you want something, you can find someone in the Dualae who sells it.

I was thinking that they'd have a strong relationship with the Avuvians as they're rather close and they both have fairly strong economies.

Also, since the Empire shares a border with the Outlands, I feel like they'd be pretty involved in the black market, as both consumers and producers. I also feel like the Empire's shadier guilds, like the Shade and the Aura, would have some sort of close relationship with thieves and thugs in the Outlands.

The Nefai are fairly reclusive, but some of the individual packs and tribes have a habit of plundering and making things difficult, so that might impact their relationships. There are sea Nefai in the ocean, nomadic groups around Pandeum, and also a huge bulk of them in the Black Forest. Despite the fact they like to keep to themselves, some Nefai are willing to trade with outsiders. Their main products would probably be weapons, some magical artifacts, and the Hags can be hired for healings and spells and junk. Some of the Nefair are willing to be hired as body guard or mercenaries.

@Weilacca
How do you think the USN feels about sharing a border with the Black Forest?

Also, my newest goddess, Muertina, is finished and ready to be viewed! If anyone has any ideas for a relationship with her, the Underworlds, or the Catrinas, please let me know!

I have a question about language, because that can impact relations and such, the Dryads and Fae have their own language(the Fae know both, most Dryads only know their own tongue). Will there be a simple common tongue shared by everyone else or what?

@Wei
Sure if it would help your story out. The cults of Kaellarak in anyone's countries would more or less be playable by the owner of that country except in special circumstances, or if I make heroes that interact with those cults, and as long as you maintain their character. However, cultists wouldn't be bound by much as far as rules go, it's just if you wanted to play Kaellarak momentarily or wanted the cultists to say that Kaellarak told them to do something crazy, I'd like you to run it by me first. And sure, they'd be killable. Kaellarak wouldn't really care, to him they're all just pawns.

@Booker
lol thanks Booker, glad you like him
Aren't spiders awesome? =D

@Lucky
Honestly, I don't know how much trade would occur directly between the Commonwealth and the Empire, probably not much given they are located on opposite sides of the continent. But maybe Artabraic furs and whatnot comes to you indirectly via the black market or trade with someone like the Avuvians who we do trade with directly. Of course that's just something between you and them, and not really important. And then we have our little arrangement between my hunters and your Nefai, that'll be fun.
Muertina looks pretty cool, I like the style you went with

@Zen
I figured there'd just be a universal common language everyone uses/knows. Sure there can be others but it'd be a pain if every culture had a different language. My Zhiszu on Kaellarak's sheet may be incapable of any human speech in some cases, but they're bugs and for the most part interact with eachother through the telepathic hivemind. Only the more evolved ones can actually speak in any audible and recognizable form to humanoids. I implemented some Sindarin Elvish when I made the Drow, but wasn't really going to go so far as to make them regularly speak anything unusual. Artabri speak the common tongue, although I also implemented a lot of Gaelic, Celtic, Irish and Scottish when naming people and places in the Commonwealth.

@Everyone
Speaking of the Zhiszu and Drow; typically closed border policy except to some traders and rare other occasions. Anyone else that comes in is subject to being eaten by massive hungry insects or feathered by Drow surface-rangers.

@Lucky
I'm doubt the USN would really care, they'd probably search for an alliance or means to take over the land since lumber is what they're short on. But that's kind of it.

@TiM
I'll pop you any messages about how these guys would act. And it would be nice if you gave me a quick outline on what they'd do. Like trying to force their beliefs on the people or terrorising the place or whatever. I think it would be easier if you just gave me a message about what you'd want the cultists to do at the time you want it to happen. Allows me to react easily and play those guys without messing them up.

The USN uses the Shadonian language, I guess languages wouldn't be much of a problem as we're at the time of high trade and whatnot. There'd probably be translators or something.

Also, I'm ready to start whenever!

Alrighty. I finally decided I probably need to dig my heels in and stop procrastinating on this.

As a nation, Maakulm is open to pretty much all trade from all nations. After all they don't discriminate since there isn't really a place for that in the land they live in. Survival is way too important.

Shem, the goddess, on the other hand is only slightly more specific. She favors other gods who value her own values and have characteristics like hers.

Also, as far as alliances and enemies go, Maakulm would prefer to remain neutral. No allies and not hating on anybody. However, that isn't to say that they don't favor some nations over others!
