The Pokemon League of the Multiverse - Trainers
Established eons ago, the Pokemon League has long since been a standing representation on the proper method of going about Pokemon. The basic guidelines for proper training techniques and skillful handling of the mysterous creatures that came to be called Pokemon were established, and the League Challenge was formed as a method of crowning the best Trainers in the world.
The League has also been responsible for many of the enhancements many have come to regard as standard fare now, such as the iconic Poke Ball, the Pokedex, and the recently added PokeLog, a personal digital assistant that allows Trainers to keep tabs on their Pokemon, their friends, and provide many other useful tools.
Even today, the League still functions under the core principles established at it's inception, and all Trainers looking to become officially recognized and take the League Challenge are encouraged to register with the League.

While the League was originally designed for Trainers, lots of Pokemon cooperate with the League's ideals, feeling that the ideal bond that can be formed with a Human to be a most gratifying feeling. Many Pokemon also wish to be able to live a life with a Trainer whom they can trust in and care for as much as the Trainer trusts them and cares for them. The bond that can be shared in this method is strong indeed.
