*shivers*

As I've mentioned before..I have issues with dolls..and most inanimate objects with eyes....

You know, some cultures believe eyes give the doll a soul.....

But in all seriousness, I've had some paranormal crap happen that I will not repeat and yea...dolls are NOT allowed in my home..Yea i'm 28 yr old with an issue with dolls. It's not as bad as it use to be, I just avoid that stuff like the plague.

and Doom...Realistic Flamingos? it's like around xmas here and everyone has those inflatable decorations and some just look wrong.....some are dirty creepy old santas...just want to take a bb gun one night, driving around...

lol
So save your breath, I will not care
I think I made it very clear
You couldn't hate enough to love
Is that supposed to be enough?

I only wish you weren't my friend
Then I could hurt you in the end
I never claimed to be a saint
Ooh, my own was banished long ago
It took the death of hope to let you go

It's a cute music video . . . about a guy and his doll.

That sorta kills him or takes him over or something.

When I was younger, I had a really scary experience with a mirror. Not sure if it is just a memory that I have made up or it actually happened, but it was one year during the summer when I was in grade 5ish. I was in the washroom, doing my business. Now the way that my washroom is laid out, is that the toilet is opposite to the mirror. So, sitting down, you can always see the mirror, but standing (like a man!) you are facing away from the mirror.
So, I'm standing, and doing my business, and when I was done, I flushed the toilet. While I was zipping up my fly, the toilet did it's thing. When it stopped doing its thing, I could hear a dripping noise as if something was slowly dripping into the bowl, but of course, I was looking at it, so I could tell that nothing was dripping into it.
When I turned around to wash my hands, I saw in the mirror, a man with no legs, looking down from behind me. He had a bloodied knife in one hand and it would drip to the sound of dripping in my toilet. I looked behind me and saw nothing, so I quickly turned back around and looked into the mirror, but again saw nothing.

Needless to say, for the next three years I wasn't able to go to the washroom without looking at the mirror the entire time I was in the room. Scared the crap out of me. Was it real or not, who am I to say. I'll be inclined to believe that I could have fabricated it and made myself believe it to be real.

Sometimes, our fears are completely irrational. The funny thing is, I've never been afraid while watching a horror movie. They just don't scare me. I'm that asshole who would laugh at the scary parts in the theater.
“I have wrestled with death. It is the most unexciting contest you can imagine. It takes place in an impalpable greyness, with nothing underfoot, with nothing around, without spectators, without clamour, without glory, without the great desire of victory, without the great fear of defeat, in a sickly atmosphere of tepid scepticism, without much belief in your own right, and still less in that of your adversary.”
― Joseph Conrad

Huh.

The closest I get to that is when I'm driving home at 5 in the morning and keep seeing black wolf/dog things running at the side of the road. Or when I keep thinking that someone's in the seat next to me.

I've gotten over it. I still think I believe it happened, but I sure am doubtful about it. I do know I had one other paranormal experience that my parents have validated for me. They didn't see anything, but they remember when I came into their room at night after I told them it happened. It wasn't as scary as the crazy pedophile with the knife in my bathroom though. Was just weird and it made me uneasy.

I don't understand how I can be scared of that, but laugh at horror movies. Lol, then there is that Paranormal Activity thing. I haven't seen them, but when people say "The best part is when all the cupboards opened", I'm left to wonder how we've devolved in the entertainment world.

Oh yeah, Blackbird, I know you wont read this today, but I just wanted to tell you how amusing I found it reading about the White Rose thing. It gives a whole new meaning to why Evin would mock her about the name. He probably wouldn't know why she was given the name, but being as close to Bastian as Evin was, he would probably know that he gave her the name and it probably would have been implied to Evin at some point that the name held negative connotations as apposed to the positive ones that everyone else associates the name with.
I'm glad when somehow, something that someone else has written adds depth to my character and some of his mannerisms.

Lower freaky level....I had knocking on my bedroom door, til the point it shook and no one was home...I had someone on the phone who witnessed it...and when i finally opened the door no one was there....

There was the voice calling my name in my ear...not the distant you think u hear something...but the wet/warm breath in your ear so the hairs tickle and twitch.....

There was...sitting with my friends in a circle do one of those cheesy ceremonies..calling to the dead or whatever kids do at parties...was like 12...in basement with those ceilings that lift and can store stuff in them....well the entire area above our circle lifted, paused and then fell with a crash...that sucked

Well, I came up with that writing some of Lena's background and I knew then I just had to have her tell someone that story. lol

Many thanks to Seerow by the way, because I think he was the one who actually nicknamed Lena that, but of course I had to give it my own twist. It's a little funny to reread that conversation now too. :P

Stupid guys and stupid hammers waking me up too early... Grr...

Morning.

Things are messy here with guys replacing the windows (and hammering... oh, God make it stop T_T), but I'll try to write something else later today/night, because I won't be on tomorrow at all, and probably through most of Sunday, depending on how tired I am...

Like I said, I did curse them.

They've never had so many accidents as they did today... *innocent face*

-edit-

Oh, I forgot to mention this...

The name of the place we purchased the windows from is, and I kid you not, Porn Box. So I have these two dudes going around my apartment with the words "Porn Box" printed on the back of their shirts.
