It is the year 2115. Since the invention of the cygen, a machine that modifies genes so that humans are a flesh machine lifeform with the appearance of a human. These modified humans are made of human flesh and hightech devices and chips. These humans are called genoids. Genoids notice the difference between them and normal humans first when they go to the doctor or when they find out how easy memorizing a book is. Then at the age of 13 or 14 with the beginning of puberty they notice when their face opens like a saloon door and theres a jack input for the cybernet. At 16 they are considered adult genoids when they can transform. The government tries to hire them for combat, seeing them as fighting machines.

Abilities: Transformation, lesser fire trick (like lighting a cigarette with thumb)

Appearance: Long blue hair, red eyes, pretty, about 1,70 m.
Clothing style: Normally short skirts, long socks, normally a hoodie (white or black), underneath varies from a tanktop to turtleneck. She always wears a black beltbuckle choker/collar.
Bio: She is an orphan who now lives in a appartment. She finished high school at 15 and is now going to college. Katakari knows little about her body. But soon will find out.
Other: She likes Ramen. Is almost never sick and is normally called Kata.

Kata was on her way to school. When a car came on the sidewalk and hit her. She seemed uninjured though the car looked like it hit a thick pole. She stood back up. People were saying: "What happened?! Who is she? What is she?" The people were making Kata nervous. Kata the ran into the park. At a park bench she looked at herself. There wasnt even a scratch. She took out a cigarette and lit it with her thumb. The doctors say she is pyrokinetic. But that doesnt keep her front getting injured in an accident.

Abilities: Silver hawk like wings can sprout from his back at will. Compartment in side of his leg for a combat knife. Expert in martial arts.
Weapons:Hidden combat knife, and a small half sword similar tho the buster sword.
Appearance: 6'0'' athletic with striking blue eyes and natural blond spiky hair
Clothing style (optional): wheres all black
Bio: Had abusive parents and ran away from home at 13. Finished high school at 17, and now works as a free lancer, taking on odd jobs from whomever needs him.
Others: He fights ice cold, earning him the nickname of Frost

Terry was searching the neighborhood for a couple of pranksters he had been hired to track down when he saw a drunk driver leave the road and plow over a girl. He started running in that direction to help with the situation when the girl got up and ran off in the direction of the park. "What just happened" he said to himself. A similar situation had happened to him before, but thankfully there was no witnesses like there was this time. He wanted answers, so he started after the girl.

Kata sighed and got up. She inhaled deeply but then felt kind of sick. She then ran over to the next tree and threw up. "I need to know." she said. She pulled out a laptop which had a cybernet wire. Her face opened up, she pulled the wire out and plugged it in the port that was in the midfront of her head. She was in the cybernet and looked for what she was. DICTIONARY- GENOID. A video showed the making of the first genoid and its features. Then it showed the evolving of a genoid child to an adult. The video said that only 0.00001% of all humans were genoids. That mean a mere 7000.
She then logged off and unplugged the wire. Her face fused back together and she started walking out of the park. There was a young man coming into the park. Kata stopped to see what the teen was up to.

Terry found the girl only moments later. she was using a portaqble computer, standard equipment for todays society. He commly walked over to the table she was sitting on and stared for a moment. "How are you still alive?" he asked. "I mean, most people would have been killed ass soon as the car touched you. How did you stop it. I got hit by a train once, long story, but i was never able to explain what happed that night, but today...."

"I dont really have a clue. All I know that I am a thing called a genoid and that a long time ago it was experimental technology that made our lives different from normal humans. The cybernet says that were a mix of flesh and machine. Unlike cyborgs we are born this way. That is all I could find out. That earlier didnt even hurt somehow. I cant explain it." Kata replied.

"Well that doesnt really help me. I've been trying to figure this out for a long time. Now that I know the basics it just seems unreal." terry said with no emotion in his face. It was then that a group of three hooded figures step out of the trees with strange objects in there hands. They were headed strait for Terry and Kata. "This doesnt look good"
One of the hooded figures came shouted to the other two, "There she is, get her!!"

"Uhh, I hate guys with hoods on. I will create a diversion." Kata said. She had some lighter fluid with her because she wanted to go to a grill party after school. Kata sprayed some of the fluid on the ground and lit it with her fingers. "Run! Come to my appartment. We are safe there."

They started for Kata's apartment, taking the long route and back tracking to make sure they would lose their stalkers. Terry had no idea where they were going so he just followed Kata, no matter how much he hates being the follower. "Nice place." Terry said when they finally arrived. "So what do we do now? And um...you got any food?"

Abilities: Can shoot lightning from her palms, absorb electricity, and has very fast reflexes

Bio: When she was 10 an explosion killed her father and near-fatally injured her, her uncle (a scientist) turned her into a cyborg to save her life. He also gave her the ability to shoot lightning from her hands, because the government blackmailed him into it. They were hoping to turn her into a weapon, but she found out about their plot and escaped. She has since discovered that she can absorb power and she can't be electrocuted. Her reflexes are a result of advanced brain wiring and cybernetic muscles. She has been on the run since, staying at various sanctuaries for Humans Genoids Cyborgs or Androids on the run from the government.
Others: She's sweet with a positive outlook on life. She is talented with machines, it runs in her family.

"Yeah sure." Kata opened the fridge which was filled with milk, cola, beer and instant meals. "Help yourself." She took out a beer. "I wonder why me and not one of the other 7000 genoids. It is not as if I was more advanced that I could be a target. The only thing I can do I light fires. Have you ever used the cybernet. It is only accessible to genoids and some cyborgs. Id say about 25000 people in total."

(OOC: My last post there had 1000 characters and 150 words!!! I'm OCD about numbers so it makes me happy because those are really "good" numbers!!!)

Dolly crept around the corner in the park, and saw 2 people running away. They were being chased by 3 hooded thugs. Dolly could take them if she wanted, but she decided to wait and see if the two were genoids. If they were, she would get involved and if not... she struggled with her morals for a moment... she decided she would help them. The place she was staying at now, Sanctuary 5, would probably take them in if they were in some sort of trouble. They did seem to be running awfully fast to be humans. She followed them quietly, sticking to the shadows and occasionally taking detours through dark alleys. Finally she reached an apartment building and saw them disappear into it. She would wait around the corner for a while, and wait before making her next move.

Kata started praticing her fire ability. She suddenly notice a shodow in the alley. "Crap. They found us." She pulled a 50 caliber pistol out of her drawer and waited at the door. She waited if there was a enemy or someone else. She took a sip of beer. After three cans the alcohol still didnt take effect.

Dolly froze. She switched off her cybernetic muscles so she would be completely still, to avoid being seen. One glance up at the window and she realized it was too late. She muttered curses under he breath. She pulled back her hair on her left side, which was hiding her robotic eye. She stared at the window, focusing her cold metallic pupil on the window and zooming in. "Oh. Dang. A gun." she thought. She hid her eye again. She stayed still. It was a stand off. Neither moved. Dolly just hoped the girl didn't start to get an itchy finger. If she got shot, it could seriously damage her robotic muscles.
She had a decision. Stay here for who knows how long and possibly get shot, or make a run for cover... and possibly get shot. She made her decision and hoped to hell that she wasn't up against a genoid. She moved as quickly and suddenly as she could, not even preparing herself. She sprang in the direction of a dumpster.

Movement. Something moved in the alley. Kata set her gun to tranquilizer and took a couple shots at the shadow, hoping to be able to find out who the shadow was. Then she ran downstairs and took cover in case she didnt get the person.

Terry came running dow after Kata. "Did you even see the thing you were shooting at?" He asked. They had both heard a noise, but it was Kata that reacted. It seemed instant. First there was the noise, then there was the girl leaning out the window shooting at something. "Was it the guys in the hoods?"

"There was a shadow. It probably noticed me and it ran through the alley. It was big enough to be a person. Dont worry. I am only using tranquilizer shots." Kata said to Terry. She looked down the alley waiting to see if the coast is clear. "I just hope its not the guys with the hoods."

"We dont even know what these guys are capable of, but if it is one of them lets tie it up and ask some questions." Terry said while puching his hand. "How long do your shots take to paralyze the target? If someone else saw you shoot him it could mean bigger trouble for us."

Bio: He was thrown out of his home by his parents from fear of his abilities. As he wandered the streets some strangers picked him up, somehow knowing his abilities.

Vain couldn't believe what was happening to him. Thoughts ran through his head like lightning, but then he was brought back to himself by the three guys behind him shoving him forward into a van at gun point. The van started with a roar of its engine as one of the guys got in the front seat and turned the key. The other two jumped into the back with Vain. One of them holding the gun. All three of the figures were hooded and dressed all in black so he couldn't get a good look at them and frankly he wasn't sure if he wanted to see them. The van rounded a corner and came to a stop in front of an apartment building. One of the men opened the the side door of the van and jumped out. The man with the gun motioned for him to move and he did shakily. "Get moving!" The man with the gun shoved him from van and he fell to the ground. The guy already out grabbed Vain by the collar of his shirt and dragged him to his feet. The man with the gun put it to the back of his neck and cocked it. "Now use your abilities and don't try anything funny. There is a man and a girl in there, both genoids. Tell me were they are and what floor they're on." Vain swallowed. "B-but...." The man with the gun smacked the back of his head. "Quit stalling!" Vain reached out with his mind probing for the thoughts of the two genoids. He felt the mind of a girl and pushed into her consciousness. "I-I'm sorry, but you have to get out of there quickly! These men are coming for you two" he said into her mind. "Th-they're on the third floor" he said to the man with the gun. "Good, but if your lying its over for you boy." The man with the gun signaled to the two men and they entered the building.

Kata pulled her gun. She ran down shooting the men with live ammo. There was a guy holding a teen hostage. "Stop or I'll shoot him!" The guy yelled. "How should I know he's not a decoy?" Kata asked. Then she aimed at the guys head and shot before the guy could shoot the boy. Kata went towards the boy pointing her gun at him. "Who are you?" She asked in a sort of angry voice.
