In a large castle, four Royal Families must meet to delegate the region and keep the peace. But in a world of Royalty lays assassins, deception, and rivals, and it's dangerous to be in one castle...

Have a few questions...
(1) Though there is the Grand King and a King ruling a quarter of the land, what is their relationship like between each other?
(2) This sort of coincides with Q1 but when mentioned that during this deciding period, they'd be taking more territory, so this would be from other Kings or land that is not owned by any of the Kings as of yet
(3) Are Kings NPCed, and you would play the Kings?
(4) Other than the 4 Kings, is there any Kings outside of this "union" that could possibly be a threat to these, or any opposing force at all that would seek to dominate the land and put the entire land under 1 rule with 1 King?

1: it depends on the history and personalities of the kings. The Former Grand King fought along side all 4 kings in the Great War, so he was highly respected. On a side note, barely anyone talks about this war.
2: No, it would essentially be that the kings are using Land to trade and threaten the other kings to advance his own position.
3: The kings are NPCs, because latterly all they do is talk, feast, more talking, and the occasional assassin attack, but it's highly doubtful they will attack the king directly.
4: yes. Some of them include "The Bandit King" and Lord of the Spire. And countless smaller kings. Not to mention rebels. Plenty of people want them dead
