Introduction

We are still here, hiding among you.

Gods. Goddesses. Myths. They are all true. Well, there is a little exception... They aren't gods. They were never gods. They were humans blessed with extraordinary abilities, burdened with keeping balance in the world.

Hundreds of years ago, the "gods" vanished. POOF! No explanation. The people stopped believing and eventually the Gods became nothing but a myth. Wars broke out, governments rose and fell, religions popped up. The world seemed to be falling apart until the Storm. It racked the entire globe and killed thousands of people. Over the next ten years, the Gods and Goddesses of old were reborn into new bodies. A woman by the name of Dara Kale became the Oracle tasked by some unknown force to find these children and gather them. She was to teach them how to use their abilities. So, she did what she was told to do.

Seven years later, only a few remain undiscovered and many more have been found. But even to Dara, their purpose is still unclear. After years of death and devastation, why are the gods and goddesses only now reborn?

A dark entity is rising from the depths of hell, but everyone is still left unaware, even as their own are picked off one by one.

~ Please be literate.
~ Romance is encouraged, but it should not be the focal point for all relationships.
~ Originality is very much appreciated.
~ Real FCs are required, any anime FCs will be turned away. I wold prefer for FCs to be similar to their mythology: The Niles are darker skinned and the Under Heavens are some kind of Asian.
~ To prove you read all of the rules, put your character's favorite color in the OOC.
~ Do not physically maim another person's character without their permission.
~ No age changes or gender changes, no exceptions.
~ 200 word posts are preferred. Try to get a grasp for your character: their emotions, how they appear, their actions, etc.

Hey, I don't mean to be impatient, but I was just wondering when you think we might start? Just an estimate.
I know its still going to take a few days for the other characters to come in, but you do have a lot of roles still open that most likely won't be filled. We aren't going to wait for all of the roles to be filled, right?

Also, another question. Or more of a statement? Just wondering if I'm right on this...
After re-reading the intro in an attempt to understand what we will be roleplaying about, I came to the conclusion that the characters that have been discovered by Kale will be searching for the ones not discovered, along with fending off this rising evil? Will the rising evil involve some sort of evil creatures our characters will have to fight? Just a thought.
