Pavel noticed to other subjects walking together into the forest. He watched them for a moment curiously, and after his ears picked up the girl's offering to take a walk through the forest, cautiously trotted up to them.
"Can I join you?" he asked, not particularly wanting to be outside alone. Not because he was scared, but because the presence of another subject was the only thing that can calm him after such a toll on his mind.
A new face struck more questions in Joanne's head. How old is he? He looks younger than Skyler and myself. He seems to be nervous. What kind of tests does he take? He must be friends with at least ONE other subject, I guess. Hey, maybe he knows who this Eden person is. Speaking of Eden, what was it at the East side of the forest that was worth sprinting to?
Joanne simply shook off these questions."Hey there." Joanne stood off her seat. "Sure, you can join us. We can go to where that Eden girl was running to." Plus, the more the merrier.
She turned again and looked at Skyler. "You are coming, right?"

Glancing over Skyler's shoulder, he saw Eden, and waved happily from behind. But when he saw where Krein was standing, passed the border that had nearly killed him the one and only time he tried passing it, he froze and his mouth dropped open. Pavel pushed past Joanne and Skyler to take a better look.
"H-How'd you d-do that?"

"What do you think?.." he asked, looking on at the group, "..should we take this chance?" he continued as he turned back to looking out, away from the facility. It was possibly the one and only chance that they had for getting out, the only chance for them to possibly stop all the test and experimentation altogether. If not taken now, how long will it be available before this lucky break is discovered by those employed at the facility, and repaired, having this opportunity ripped from their hands.
Regardless of the answer of the others he knew he would take this one, and possibly only, chance to get out and get away. He just thought it would be a bit less of a scary experience if some, if not all, the others were to go along as well, and perhaps he could become friends with them all as well. He was tired of it all, the facility, the scientist, the meaningless testing, everything that he was put through and forced to do. Although he knew that even if he and the other were to escape that there was a high possibility, if not guaranteed, that the people of this facility would go on a hunt for them. He was willing to risk it, he would rather die resisting than be dragged back to this place after escaping from it all.
"I'm going to take it," he said, his back still towards the others, "a new world" he mumbled to himself afterwards.
"Sorry little fella, but mama has got to eat," she says as she climbs slighly higher into the tree. She could feel something very animalistic creeping up her spine and looked down to see her body naturally taking its position to srtike. She clamps onto the branch with ehr strong talons and leans toward the fawn, then drops and lets herself fall. SHe catched herself in time to swoop down a grab the fawn by the throat, her strong talon sinking dee into the flesh and riping open its jugular in seconds. Atleast it was a quick death. She spots an angry doe headed her way and flaps off, carrying her prey like a trophy in her claws but up into the tree. There is someone else with her now, a bat has flown into the tree while she was hunting.
"Want some," she offers over to the strange person, not caring relaizing that she is covering in animal blood and looks rather...barbaric at the moment. All she cares about is how sweet and hot the meat is, " Tastes like freedom," she laughs.

She accepted her offer of meat and smirk as she bit into it. "Tastes like squrrel." She said, almost slipping up with the word chicken, until she realized who she was talking to. The mean was quickly scarrfted down as she slipped down out of the tree to the ground below. "I don't know about you all, but I'm leaving this house of pain. If not now who knows how long it would take for the whitecoats in there to notice and fix this thing, then who knows how long it would take for it to short out at all? If it even will again." She said, somewhat pleading her case. Elesh didn't care if anyone came along or even want to leave this place, all she wanted was the freedom of the open skies, to see what else was out there.

(OOC: Sorry for lame post, I need interaction, and also, what happend to Kamen Diamonte's threat letter?)
Joanne usually abode by the boundaries, although she always thought of a life outside. Are there other people like us? Is the food different? Are there still tests out there?
Again, Joanne ignored the piling mysteries.
"I saw you earlier." She looked at the only other girl around. "My name is Joanne. Your name is Edith? Or Eden?" She hopes she got this right. But she doesn't know the man next to the cheerful girl. How many of us are there?
She glanced at everyone here, counting them mentally. First, there's the girl. Eden, I guess. Then there's the man next to her. Then there's Skyler, and the young one. Pavel, I believe. Then there's the bird-like girl, sharing food with a bat-like girl over there. Then there's me. Seven. So far.
Joanne then steered her attention to the fact that four of them are outside the border, unharmed. Curiously, she asked.
"Are your trackers broken?"

She looked around at the subjects that had gathered. After she had finished taking a mental note of who was there, she interlocked her claws and started rocking back and forth on her heels. Eden swiveled her head and looked out on the other side of the barrier. As her golden eyes scanned the unknown, she couldn't help but feel a twinge of curiosity, buried within the uncertainty. Even though Eden's simple mind was limited as far as common sense and reasoning, she had a gut feeling that whatever was out there was possibly better than the life she was living then, although it was all she'd ever known.
She spoke to the girl in the kindest voice she could muster, "My name is Aello, would you like to fly with me?- But their introduction was cut short when Aello cauht movement in the corner of her eye. She shot her head in the direction of the Facility. A gaurd had spotted them! But he was alone..How foolish...
A devious smile formed on her lips and she cocked her head to the side. "Hey," she called out to the others, pointing to the lone, injured gaurd,"Anyone hungry?"

Instinctively, Eden whipped her head around, breaking her trance, and flexed her claws at Aello's words. She licked her sharp fangs with a primal need to kill. Then, she analyzed the guard. It was the one with the cracked skull, she realized. She wondered why he was alone.
When Kylar lifted the guard up, that was when Eden realized that she hadn't killed anything that day. Well, besides the fish she had earlier... but she didn't really count that. She had rarely gone a day without sating her drive for slaughter. Perhaps today was supposed to be another one of those days. But maybe... It wasn't like the other guards could catch them if they ran. Eden's rare logical moment made her smile.

I'm slightly not surprised. If everyone was in one area, of course the guards would suspect something. What I am surprised of, though, is that this man is alone and looks like he almost died a few hours ago.
Then she jumped back at the sight of a really huge man attack the soldier. Oh....My....God....That man's like a giant!
There's obviously going to be back-up, though.
Joanne glanced at Eden. She looked REALLY hungry. Still, I'm not sure about this fighting stuff.
Joanne does receive fight classes and tests like every other subject, but she seems to be doing worse than the others. "Maybe it's 'cause she's mixed with a cat, a domestic species. And the other's are mixed with more wilder animals" She overheard a researcher say. I knew I'd be left out for this. Ever since then she's also been receiving different lessons and tests than the others.
Her train of thought was halted by the sound of multiple footsteps.
That was when her eyes twinged to slightly lighter color. A telltale sign that she is no longer in a calm state. Her tail waved angrily behind her, hitting Skyler in the leg. She could hear the 'Ow!', even though it wasn't there.
She let out what seemed to be a mix of a growl and a hiss.
"We've got company!"

Her insticts were telling her to flee, but she lingered in the safety of the trees canopy to watch for a moment. The men burst through the treeline, Ah the big one got the injured gaurd. Guess he had some unfinished buininess. And then there are the other threeover there. What was her name, Eden? and Pavel. Yes I remember. She didnt recognize one girl in the group, she must have joined earlier when Aello hadnt been paying attention. She perched high where she was semi-hidden and waited tosee what would happen.
Aello was never the leading type, She would rather just lay back and wathc things unfold. She was the type to want a backup plan. If she had followed her first instict she would have been long gone by now. She decided however that if the bat-girl was going to leave, she would follow. A life in the air with a friend was all she wanted, and she was close to having it. She wasn't going to give that up becasue she was curious.

Eden made her decision.
She turned around and sprinted as fast as her paws could carry her into the unexplored side of the barrier.

"The guards," he said quietly, "They're on to us. They're coming."
He glanced at Eden, knowing whatever she would do, he will follow. She was his only friend, and he trusted her above anyone else.
She looked back. The guards were coming. Fast. And there were a ton of them. Well I'm definitely gonna die if I stay.
Joanne grabbed Skylar's arm and had him run with her outside the border. Skyler's the very first friend I made here. He is definitely coming, whether he wants to or not. Plus, I don't want him to die. She hesitated at the edge, but still went on.
No shock. We can actually be free.
Joanne looked at the huge man. He's still watching the other hybrids. Does he want them to come along? Or maybe he just doesn't mind if they don't? Well, I want them to come along. I wonder if they would. Eden already ran. I'm not sure about the man. Or Pavel. The two girls that can fly seem ready to leave any moment now.
I can't believe this is happening.

The sound of footsteps, ones that sounded none that were friendly made Elesh's fur stand on end. It was now or never. And honestly.... might as well be now. "You wanted a flight aello! Get gettin'!" She yelled as she made on hard flap into the air. She was above the tree tops in an instant, bloting out the sun with in sever yards below her. The wind under her wing were freedom and with instant, she was out of reach.
Soaring away from the building that had been her birth place as well as her torture chamber was liberating, but she knew she wasn't out of the woods yet. The others wanted freedom. "Come with me if you want to live!" She yelled back at the rest as she rose higher into the air where buttlets would be useless.

Aella looked down to see the others running through the woods below, she looked back. Some of the gaurds we chasing behind them, but they couldnt keep up as long as they were on foot. She looked ahead to seek shelter for thre group. "Where should we go?" she asked?
